Obama's Actions Contradict His Words

“He’s lied about everything. He lied to get elected in 2008, that’s why I voted for him. I bought his bull. And he’s lied about everything, he hasn’t come through on anything. And he’s been bullshitting the public.” — Former Obama voter, who has now switched to Mitt Romney, speaking to pollster Frank Luntz after the second presidential debate.

I’ve been making this point in personal conversations for a couple of years, but in the last few months I’ve been very public about it. The point I’m referencing is that there are a significant number of voters who supported Obama in 2008, who are bitterly disappointed with him, and will not under any circumstances vote for him again. And others labeling them as racists or sell-outs is not going to change their minds.

It’s easy to sell someone a lie wrapped in a vesture that gives it the appearance of being the truth. But when the wrapper is removed and the content is not close to what it was promised to be — people get upset because they realize they’ve been duped. And it matters little to what extent they blame themselves or the crook who sold them the bill of goods. Very few people ever return to a place where they were lied to and cheated.

That’s what we have in this election. People who were cheated because they bought a fake painting (which a blind person would have spotted) may not be easily persuaded to share that they got hosed because they didn’t know what they were doing. But people who did what they believed to be was their due diligence only to find out they were intentionally mislead–those people are not coming back.

Obama is going to get a certain percentage of people to vote for him. Neo-Leninists such as himself are certainly going to vote for him as will those who think he is cool and equate same as synonymous with ability. And the majority of blacks will vote for him even if it means they must set aside all semblance of sanity to do so. That includes those blacks who have been pretending to be undecided. In reality the thing they were undecided about was how they were going to convince themselves to do what they intuitively know is wrong.

In 2008 Obama smooth-talked and conned his way into the office he holds today, but during current the debates, the second one specifically, we witnessed a man who is outright lying. And he is being aided and abetted by the willfully blind and by the media.

The people who think and/or understand that Obama misled them were more than superficially repulsed by his debate behavior. But for me, it was when he looked at the people seated in the gallery and passionately told them that he would not tolerate terrorist attacks. And, as if the moment could have been more surreal, he called the victims of terrorist attacks “his people”; he said he’s the one who meets their coffins when they return.

That was the final straw for me during the debate because, you see, our brave military men and women do mean something to me. I do not hold elected office nor do I aspire to, but I’m an American who is proud of our service men and women. Their sacrifice means far more to me than a photo-op–but that’s exactly how he has used meeting the flag-draped coffins bearing the remains of our fallen.

He made the statement about the fallen military being his people with a straight face even though he has done nothing but show contempt for our military except when having a photo-op with them was of benefit to him.

Ask the wife of Sgt. Shawn Manning who is fighting to have Obama allow the military to classify the Fort Hood terrorist shootings as an act of terrorism so her husband and those wounded can receive better benefits. Ask Obama why he permits a Muslim terrorist to continue to receive his full salary of $6,000 per month while he awaits trial for his terrorist shootings at Fort Hood which left 13 dead and 30 some wounded. Ask the service men and women who have been wounded and those who bear the invisible wounds of battle how they feel about a military ship being named for liberal congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, instead of one of their own.

But then again there is a record of how Obama treats his people. Just ask his brother George who exists on less then a dollar per month and who lives in a hut in Huruma on the outskirts of Nairobi. Ask his illegal alien, aunt Zeituni Onyango whom he allowed to go homeless on the streets before she ended up in a homeless shelter because she had been evicted from her public housing slum dwelling. I should here add that Obama the multi-millionaire was allowing his relatives to languish in abject poverty before he was elected and he continues to allow them to suffer same today–after four years of him telling us how we need to help those less fortunate and as he attacks “the rich” for not paying their fair share.

It would be easy to end this essay by saying that if Obama treats his own family as referenced above we shouldn’t be surprised by how he is treating military families–and I would be right. But the story of just how much he cares about the military and their families is best told by pointing out that Obama’s homeless illegal alien aunt, now lives in public housing while there are homeless veterans dying in back alleys and in abandoned cars.
