George Carlin once observed that the biggest oxymoron is “military intelligence.” Lt. Colonel Wesley Miller appeared to confirm that premise last week after it was announced the Obama administration gave 20, F-16’s to Egypt at taxpayers’ expense when he stood at the podium to say, “The US-Egypt defense relationship has served as the cornerstone of our broader strategic partnership for over 30 years.
Susan Rice got a nice reward for lying for the clown prince, though, did she not? Her credibility is in shambles for sipping the Kool Aid, but there might be a second life for her because she didn’t drink enough to kill herself.
To paraphrase a line from The Hangover, “Sir, you are literally too stupid to insult.” Either that, or you and the Architect-Supreme of this lunacy believe Americans and the world alike to be capable of swallowing tripe whole.
This asinine comment was matched in fatuousness by an observation from Lockheed VP, John Larson, who opined, “This is a great day for Lockheed Martin and a testament to the enduring partnership and commitment we have made to the government of Egypt.” Why would that be, Mr. Larson? Because the Mexican drug lords don’t have any fighter pilots? Bad comparison, I guess, because Eric Holder’s ATF renegades had with clear approval already supplied them with military assault weapons. A better example would be to enhance North Korea’s air force so it might increase its ability to threaten South Korea and Japan, other allies who must be befuddled by what is going on with American foreign policy and wonder if they will be the next one’s to be deemed “expendable.”
Would it not have been better for Mr. Larson to exult that his corporation just sold over $216 billion dollars worth of the world’s most technologically superior fighter jets at a handsome profit for his corporation and for the colonel to admit he’s a dull-edged tool in the Obama administration, that he wasn’t worth his silver oak leaf, and that he is complicit in rationalizing the arming of a radical Islamic nation bent on total annihilation of what was once one of our two best allies in the world. Why the charade? It’s a good thing Russia sells Venezuela its Sukhoi’s or they might be next in line for a freebie. Regardless a cloak is no longer used by Mr. Obama to hide his proclivities, his actions make it clear that he, like other Muslims, is intent upon the destruction of Israel, and bent further upon complete destabilization and weakening of the United States. So where is Congress during this maelstrom?
Perhaps as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, will shed some light on this strategy and other matters if she is ever lassoed to testify in front of a Congressional committee on December 20th, though she might just end up having another tray full of cocktails and blame Boris and Natasha. Susan Rice got a nice reward for lying for the clown prince, though, did she not? Her credibility is in shambles for sipping the Kool Aid, but there might be a second life for her because she didn’t drink enough to kill herself.
There could be another angle to consider, however, with respect to Benghazi. I maintain if one learns of a mission one can identify the motivation, and at that point it’s important to try to intellectually theorize about the ultimate purpose. There were 60 others rescued from Benghazi whose whereabouts remain a mystery because not one has surfaced for an interview, unlike other embassy attacks or the 52 hostages released after the 444 day debacle in Iran during the late 70’s, some of whom became celebrities. Could it be the “others” in Benghazi had a mission other than that of diplomats and that perhaps, just perhaps their identities need to remain hidden for a reason, and if they must be hidden for a reason, just what might that reason be? Hmmm.
Reversing the logical progression we clearly understand Susan Rice’s purpose, however pathetically it was played, so we must now wonder about the mission in Benghazi, which I believe is clear and explains the secrecy. However, why was there no military intervention and what was the real purpose of the mission? Put another way: if the covert operation was clearly blown open is there a by-law that states they all become a Jason Bourne and are on their own to survive? Mr. Obama was too conflicted and timid to make a decision when faced with such a confluence of events, so he opted for the easy way out. Face it. No military assistance was forthcoming because dead men don’t talk, and reality says it was not strategically reasoned; it was pure cowardice not to order a counter-attack.
Transitioning……..there’s not enough time or space to talk about the fiscal cliff in detail, but enough room left to talk about Speaker of the House, John Boehner, a man so bereft of courage and leadership that he has reduced his prestigious position to one of being a chump, a piñata for the press to whack repeatedly, and a man concerned more about conveying empathy than statesmanship. He’s as meek as a titmouse, leads with the stoic courage of the lemming, and I wish he lived nearby and liked to play poker because I could use the extra money. He’s allowed himself and his party to be defined instead of defining conservatism and fiscal responsibility, and no longer occupies the attention of a wayward president. I’m no fan of Mr. Obama, but who can blame him for showing Boehner so little respect? Boehner doesn’t merit any regard and is so unseemly weak he gets routinely taken to the mat by the Queen of Weasels, spokeswoman Jay Carney. Gross inadequacy does not begin to describe what a milksop he is.
He’s going to wilt in unimaginable ways before the stare down is over, and now it’s just a matter of speculation as to how much he will give away, not whether he’ll dissolve like a Fizzie.
It is an unchecked presidency given to tyranny, and every one of his decisions and positions are not meant to “fundamentally change America”, and I argue without equivocation that they are purely “anti-American” and fundamentally opposed to anything for which this country stands, notwithstanding the support and rewards extended to radical Muslim insurgencies, but with the other war he’s launched and is winning simultaneously in the generationally and financially crippling of our country.
Thank you once again, Mr. Speaker, for your fine service. You can pick up your tip at the caddyshack.
