An Unchecked Presidency Given To Tyranny

An Unchecked Presidency Given To Tyranny

George Carlin once observed that the biggest oxymoron is “military intelligence.” Lt. Colonel Wesley Miller appeared to confirm that premise last week after it was announced the Obama administration gave 20, F-16’s to Egypt at taxpayers’ expense when he stood at the podium to say, “The US-Egypt defense relationship has served as the cornerstone of our broader strategic partnership for over 30 years.

Susan Rice got a nice reward for lying for the clown prince, though, did she not? Her credibility is in shambles for sipping the Kool Aid, but there might be a second life for her because she didn’t drink enough to kill herself.

The first delivery of F-16’s in January reflects the US commitment to supporting the Egyptian military’s modernization efforts. Egyptian acquisition of F-16’s will increase our militaries’ interoperability and enhance Egypt’s capacity to contribute to regional mission sets.”

To paraphrase a line from The Hangover, “Sir, you are literally too stupid to insult.” Either that, or you and the Architect-Supreme of this lunacy believe Americans and the world alike to be capable of swallowing tripe whole.
This asinine comment was matched in fatuousness by an observation from Lockheed VP, John Larson, who opined, “This is a great day for Lockheed Martin and a testament to the enduring partnership and commitment we have made to the government of Egypt.” Why would that be, Mr. Larson? Because the Mexican drug lords don’t have any fighter pilots? Bad comparison, I guess, because Eric Holder’s ATF renegades had with clear approval already supplied them with military assault weapons. A better example would be to enhance North Korea’s air force so it might increase its ability to threaten South Korea and Japan, other allies who must be befuddled by what is going on with American foreign policy and wonder if they will be the next one’s to be deemed “expendable.”

Would it not have been better for Mr. Larson to exult that his corporation just sold over $216 billion dollars worth of the world’s most technologically superior fighter jets at a handsome profit for his corporation and for the colonel to admit he’s a dull-edged tool in the Obama administration, that he wasn’t worth his silver oak leaf, and that he is complicit in rationalizing the arming of a radical Islamic nation bent on total annihilation of what was once one of our two best allies in the world. Why the charade? It’s a good thing Russia sells Venezuela its Sukhoi’s or they might be next in line for a freebie. Regardless a cloak is no longer used by Mr. Obama to hide his proclivities, his actions make it clear that he, like other Muslims, is intent upon the destruction of Israel, and bent further upon complete destabilization and weakening of the United States. So where is Congress during this maelstrom?

Perhaps as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, will shed some light on this strategy and other matters if she is ever lassoed to testify in front of a Congressional committee on December 20th, though she might just end up having another tray full of cocktails and blame Boris and Natasha. Susan Rice got a nice reward for lying for the clown prince, though, did she not? Her credibility is in shambles for sipping the Kool Aid, but there might be a second life for her because she didn’t drink enough to kill herself.

There could be another angle to consider, however, with respect to Benghazi. I maintain if one learns of a mission one can identify the motivation, and at that point it’s important to try to intellectually theorize about the ultimate purpose. There were 60 others rescued from Benghazi whose whereabouts remain a mystery because not one has surfaced for an interview, unlike other embassy attacks or the 52 hostages released after the 444 day debacle in Iran during the late 70’s, some of whom became celebrities. Could it be the “others” in Benghazi had a mission other than that of diplomats and that perhaps, just perhaps their identities need to remain hidden for a reason, and if they must be hidden for a reason, just what might that reason be? Hmmm.

Reversing the logical progression we clearly understand Susan Rice’s purpose, however pathetically it was played, so we must now wonder about the mission in Benghazi, which I believe is clear and explains the secrecy. However, why was there no military intervention and what was the real purpose of the mission? Put another way: if the covert operation was clearly blown open is there a by-law that states they all become a Jason Bourne and are on their own to survive? Mr. Obama was too conflicted and timid to make a decision when faced with such a confluence of events, so he opted for the easy way out. Face it. No military assistance was forthcoming because dead men don’t talk, and reality says it was not strategically reasoned; it was pure cowardice not to order a counter-attack.

Transitioning……..there’s not enough time or space to talk about the fiscal cliff in detail, but enough room left to talk about Speaker of the House, John Boehner, a man so bereft of courage and leadership that he has reduced his prestigious position to one of being a chump, a piñata for the press to whack repeatedly, and a man concerned more about conveying empathy than statesmanship. He’s as meek as a titmouse, leads with the stoic courage of the lemming, and I wish he lived nearby and liked to play poker because I could use the extra money. He’s allowed himself and his party to be defined instead of defining conservatism and fiscal responsibility, and no longer occupies the attention of a wayward president. I’m no fan of Mr. Obama, but who can blame him for showing Boehner so little respect? Boehner doesn’t merit any regard and is so unseemly weak he gets routinely taken to the mat by the Queen of Weasels, spokeswoman Jay Carney. Gross inadequacy does not begin to describe what a milksop he is.

He’s going to wilt in unimaginable ways before the stare down is over, and now it’s just a matter of speculation as to how much he will give away, not whether he’ll dissolve like a Fizzie.

It is an unchecked presidency given to tyranny, and every one of his decisions and positions are not meant to “fundamentally change America”, and I argue without equivocation that they are purely “anti-American” and fundamentally opposed to anything for which this country stands, notwithstanding the support and rewards extended to radical Muslim insurgencies, but with the other war he’s launched and is winning simultaneously in the generationally and financially crippling of our country.
Thank you once again, Mr. Speaker, for your fine service. You can pick up your tip at the caddyshack.

Has it occured to any of you that most of the GOP are in this up to their necks? We will not find relief with the GOP, this is a game folks , good cop , bad cop if you will. It is time for a new party for consv, there is little time if any left. It's up to all consv, out with the Gop and in with a new party. Put aside petty differences , understand that we will not agree 100% with any candidate but if we can at least get real consv in America, all America will reap the benefits. A new party is the only answer. First piece of legislation should be gov does not involve itself in any way in personal decisions, ie , homosexuality, not up to the masses, abortion , not up to the masses, to finance or dictate laws, others reserve the right to not marry homos or do abortions. Let's get out of each other's personal values and rights.

Dan, you have a few topics here and each one really interesting. I have been trying to follow the Benghazi Attack and capturing various writer’s ideas and truths. This is news to me that there are 60 others who were rescued and hidden. I thought only one who was arrested and placed in Turkey? until the election was over. What then? Was he murdered to keep his big mouth shut? I always thought that Ms. Clinton had a childhood concussion but I guess she claims it just happened when she fainted from some kind of virus. – ordered to rest for a bit, preventing her from testifying in front of Congress about Benghazi. Wonder what will happen to her the next date set for her testimony? It was one writer’s attempt to discover how the Benghazi attack came to a head. According to this writer, the president was busy giving weapons to al-Qaida terrorists to ‘calm’ the noisy rebels in that area and some weapons going into not only Libya but Syria as well. In my book, that is treason – giving arms to the enemy. But, I guess those people aren’t the president’s enemy but only American’s enemy. As for Egypt’s Morsi receiving twenty F-16’s – a deal was struck during another president’s term and the twenty are what remain as part of that deal so Obama had to live up to that deal. But, Morsi was NOT the president of Egypt at the time when initial deal was made so I would think that would make the deal null and void! guess not. Now, Morsi is divorcing Egypt from Israel so that means goodby Israel, Unless – Netanyahu decides he’s had enough of the turkey trot by Iran and Gaza and Egypt… – sees the writing in the sand and fires the big one in the sky to the hot spot in Iran and maybe other Mideastern countries, including Egypt. If he doesn’t, Israel will be struck with a worse virus than Clinton ever dreamed of. This would open up a new can of worms but how much longer can Netanyhu stand by and watch Israelites be fired on from behind children (Mosques, hospitals, schools) in Gaza? Someone asked why there are so many crisis happening. I think I found part of that answer here: and if not working

  3. fixr December 17, 2012 at 10:45 pm #

I grow more cynical by day. A gunman on the west coast fired fifty rounds into the air and the ground, at a mall. Made national news . I wonder were he got his marching orders. Gun grabbers are all over the terrible tragedy out east. The media is good for a week or more with anti gun broadcast. But here we are selling jets to an unknown ally.We all need to become self sufficient, consider Amish. I’m not joking, when the lights go out, who will survive? I’m scarred.

    • dan bubalo December 17, 2012 at 11:07 pm #

Anyone with a pulse is unnerved, fixr, but at times of crisis it is not time to panic, but rather, to try as one might to think rationally.

One kook out of 315 million people does not define a country no matter how much the media and politicians would like to suggest otherwise. One out of 315MM is an aberration, but does NOT speak for a country.

  4. Byronfrombay December 17, 2012 at 6:42 pm #

Is there any credibility to the article in the Canadian Free Press about what really happened in Benghazi? It was an inteview with someone with ‘insider’ knowledge. Where is our fee press on this? Interesting article….and a little scary.

    • dan bubalo December 18, 2012 at 8:40 am #

I know the article of which you speak, Bryon, and believe the truth to be somewhere in between. A good friend explained that that publication has not always held itself to the highest standards of journalism, so I tried to keep that in mind while reading it, though it threw out some interesting angles to consider.

You pegged this corrupt bunch well.Mrs. hillary again gets a pass, bumped her noggin’ and now pulls up with a stomach bug. They hid her in South America the first few weeks and now she’s in house recouperating. Those darned dems pull out all the stops. The F-14’s will now be flown by the brotherhood of muslims. It was just a little different when Dubya was in office. Now 10 or so muslim fanatic countries has ran off or killed their el presidente and they’re souped up fanatics. Good call on john”bonehead” boehner–what a mama’s boy….throw him, sen. lindsey graham, and the unsupreme court jester john roberts
in a wet sack and none of them could even break free and would sucuum to drowning in their own tears…..what loosers!! There is not even one ounce of honesty or integrety
between the three…might as well throw mrs. rice and mrs. clinton in that wet sack…….

    • dan bubalo December 17, 2012 at 11:11 pm #

You should get to know, Kwatz, Jim.

You and he come from the same rock pile, and I’m quite certain you’d get along because you both work off un-varnished logic.

  6. SunnyVee December 17, 2012 at 2:00 pm #

Thank you for enlightening us on the sneaky activities of this incredibly corrupt administration. That they embraced the Arab Spring says it all as to what their intentions are. That, and turning away from Israel tells us you are right, Dan, and the Muslims are going to stick together until every last infidel is dead!

And after the “lecture” Obama gave to the grieving parents and community last night, we will not have long to wait. It’s clear they intend to take every gun they can away from the law-abiding citizens. No money, no food, no weapons, we’ll be sitting ducks.

    • dan bubalo December 17, 2012 at 2:11 pm #

I have always dismissed such calamitous thinking, Sunny, until of late.

It is no longer a possibility, but upon us and panting as it does

  7. Virginia December 17, 2012 at 1:05 pm #

I don’t understand anything the Federal Government is doing.
Regard the F-16s mentioned here and one of the comments,
those will probably be used against the USA one way or the other.

Thank you for your daily rants, otherwise some of us would never
know many things taking place ‘while we are sleeping’!

    • dan bubalo December 17, 2012 at 1:49 pm #

      Thank you, Virginia.

This is not the time to lie down, but a time to quote Thomas Jefferson:

When in the course of human events………………………………(a short reading I would recommend to everyone)

  8. Rick December 17, 2012 at 11:59 am #

Great article again Dan and right on the money. I just have to say that I seriously doubt the desire of even one existing politician to step up and really extoll exactly what it would take to get our country back on track and I know we can forget about having enough to make a difference. My vote is to get rid of the whole nasty lot of them and start with someone with a bit of patriotism to fill their places and start back where we were before it became policy to support outside interest other than our proven allies.

    • dan bubalo December 17, 2012 at 12:15 pm #

I can’t pinpoint the time from which OUR employees transitioned from elected officials to their own interpretation of rock-star status, Rick, but that’s what they consider themselves to be.

I agree; get out the broom and clean up the mess.

    • Jama December 18, 2012 at 4:41 pm #

We need obo OUT,…how do we do that?…and why in HELL are they so willing to let us go down???

      • dan bubalo December 18, 2012 at 5:04 pm #

Normally I can come up with an answer, Jama, but this time I’m all out of theories and don’t understand it, either.

The fault doesn’t rest with one party———-it rests with BOTH of them.

  9. Gary Moore December 17, 2012 at 4:22 pm #

How much longer do we conservatives have to endure the "prince of fools", John Boehner. He should have closed the purse strings years ago and told the mullah in chief, "no more. Why is congress so easily duped?

    • dan bubalo December 17, 2012 at 11:35 am #

      Right on the mark, Gary.

I mean, could someone tap him on the shoulder and remind him he has a MAJORITY? Guess it’s no use hoping a chicken will learn to fly.

  11. Kwatz December 17, 2012 at 11:03 am #

Steve Balmer, CEO of Microsoft, was fond of the acronym, BOGU, as in “bend over grease up.” In light of the current discussions regarding the fiscal cliff, it seems that the speaker is fond of that acronym also. The only problem is that we, the taxpayers are the ones doing the bending and without any grease. He is caving on taxes, willing to table the debt limit issue for a year and will be outmaneuvered on the spending cuts. At least with Pelosi, you knew you were screwed. It is clear that Obama is bent on destruction of the constitution and our government as we know it. He has no problem enacting his destructive agenda without congress input. Congress won’t pass cap and trade, no problem, the EPA will create regulations to implement it. 2nd amendment doesn’t fit in your plans? No problem, use a catastrophe to exert control by executive order. NLRB needs bodies but your nominees won’t pass muster and congress is still in session just to make sure no recess appointments may be made? No problem. Make the appointments anyway and manipulate the facts to justify the case. If the auto industry files for a normal bankruptcy, union claims on assets fall below bondholders claims and unions will hhave to renegotiate wages/retirement/benefits. No problem, address union claims on assets first, screwing bondholders and violating bankruptcy laws…etc. There are so many examples of Obama’s budding dictatorish actions, you have to be concerned. Yet we have a GOP house with a GOP speaker. We NEED some reassurance that someone is standing up for the constitution. Cue John Boehner. Not only is he not up for the challenge but, by his actions, you have to wonder what he believes. He is more like Obama than Reagan. He has contempt for the Tea Party. Dislikes conservatives. Is OK with raising taxes. Not a big fan of meaningful spending cuts. The country deserves better, NEEDS better. We are in a dump truck, with poor brakes, trying to navigate ease our way down the hills of Duluth before the brakes give out and we end up in Lake Superior. Obama has his foot on the gas pedal. We need someone who knows how to apply the brakes. I wonder if Boehner even knows how to drive.

    • dan bubalo December 17, 2012 at 11:18 am #

This is so rich and so accurate on so many fronts, Kwatz, I don’t know where to begin.

Our readers will understand exactly what your points mean and why your argument is so well-reasoned, and that’s the good news.

The bad news is it won’t reach the person with a “free-obama-phone.” (as if they’d understand you in the first place.)

  12. Thom's Thumb December 17, 2012 at 10:44 am #

As this presidency gears up, still further, to destabilize America one has to wonder where Congress really stands. Even a cornered rat will fight where he might not otherwise. America is cornered. And that point is obvious. So where are the spines from the very two bodies of legislatures that could, if they had stones of any size, when they are most needed? The dullest of wits should have no trouble seeing the end of America as we know it even if they had only followed what this horror of a president has done since he was re elected. Facilitating the sale of 20 F-16’s to Egypt as if they were just a fancy knife and fork set is tantamount to treason, irresponsible and reckless. Doesn’t this one act alone scare anyone it? Doesn’t is scare anyone that he has already announced for a third term? Scares me.

There is a certain reality that if America is hiding behind the notion that the president is black and therefore not accountable or approachable just because of that then if would be wise to look behind them and be just as afraid of their own shadow as it is also black. Congress is made up of fools of every stripe and every color. No one is after them either. God help us. Please.

    • dan bubalo December 17, 2012 at 11:10 am #

Excellent as always, Mr. Thumb. I remain mystified along with you and so many others as to why Congress has abdicated its responsibility, for it has kept or limited other weak presidents from getting out of hand since our country’s inception.

      Now, everyone has lock-jaw.

    • Jama December 18, 2012 at 4:48 pm #

WE have to stop him….HOW do we do that?…we won’t survive 4 more years and I don’t believe for one minute he won the vote…But how do we get rid of him?…Treason, fake background……It is a matter of life or death now.

  13. Chris Gonsoulin December 17, 2012 at 10:31 am #

What the hell is up with our country? Supplying jets to Egypt to take out Israel? We’ve really lost it. I can see a revolution in this country on the horizon about the time Obama tries and may succeed in changing the number of terms a dictator, excuse me, president can serve to three or more.
Hillary will now claim amnesia, or maybe I shouldn’t post this and give her the idea, on Benghazi. GREAT point about the 60 survivors. Maybe FOX can dig one or two up and get them to talk on their channel.
I’ve been convinced that Boehner is part Democrat but 100% politician. Time for a HUGE tea party candidate, make that at whole bunch of tea party candidates to run for every democrat and republican spot and really change DC.

    • dan bubalo December 17, 2012 at 11:06 am #

Never bargain with a terrorist is axiomatic, Chris. Then, there is john boehner.

The Tea Party is the only solution, for it is high time for conservatives to get off the “apology tour.”

  14. renee December 17, 2012 at 10:19 am #

Obama’s entire Affirmative Action oriented presidency is nothing more than a repeat performance of the Guyana Tragedy, 21st century style! The man exhibits the same cunning, calculating & snake oil salesman tactics of the late Jim Jones. Nearly every tragedy which took place under his two year lackluster presidency, be it the Treyvon Martin murder, Hurricane Sandy and the recent Connecticut elementary school shooting which claimed the innocent lives of 20 young children & 6 adults has aquired his public attention!

Shedding glycerine tears on cue with the aid of his trusty telepromptor before the glaring lens of his media enthusiasts, Obama once again has set the stage in gaining the collective support of his naive admirers. The sanctitiy of life seems to have possess some merit from the man who won the abundent support of Catholics despite his abject denial of the divinity of Jesus Christ & His Catholic church. His crocodile tears shed over the loss of the young students has no bearing whatsover towards his & his political party’s full support of the murderous procedure of abortion.

Nor have we’ve been fortunate enough to witness his emotional breakdown regarding the violent deaths of four Americans regarding the Bengazi murders. So Obama like Jim Jones will slowly & systematically continue to prepare his followers into ingesting the same cyanide laced cup of kool-aid towards their psychological, spiritual & physical demise.

The US has sold a large number of F-16's to Pakistan over the last few years. These F-16's will only be used against India. Would one count the US a friend or enemy of India? Or does the US sell to whoever she can to maximise sales and profits? These sales took place under Bush Jr and continue under Obama.

  16. Dennis McCutcheon December 17, 2012 at 9:30 am #

Speechless with anger. May their wheels fall off as the land, may their wings drop off when they point themselves toward Israel. May their weapons jam if ever used in anger against us or Israel. May the poeple that agreed to this travesty be removed from office sooner than later. Impeachment would be nice.
Boehner seems to be joining the Democratic machine once again with “threats” of compromise. Drudge reports today that he is caving even on the debt ceiling. Our economy may not survive another four years. Lord we do not deserve Your help, but we sure do need You. Forgive us LORD.

I ‘m afraid….aren’t you?…We need a plan…..There are only about 6-700 hundred people running the country!…..Are we going to stand for this???…where the hell is our leadership????

We might add how strange it is that someone who gives such lethal weapons to radical Islamist who proudly proclaims they mean to eliminate Israel and covert the world to Sharia Law would want to take simple hand guns away from his own citizens. It seems our president and his regime has no fear of and offers no resistance to Middle East terrorist killing our American citizens abroad but sees a real threat to his agenda at home from Americans who are not fooled by the irrational rhetoric coming out of the White House and like our founders believe our Constitution and our homeland must be defended from ALL enemies foreign and domestic.
