Better than a Broadway play

Go to any community playhouse and you may be assured of witnessing better acting than that which has been trotted out on stage by the Obama administration with the Petreaus scandal running in tandem with the slaughter in Benghazi. Today, we will play a new type of Jeopardy where responses must come in the form of a question, but unlike the game show you will be given five acceptable questions to analyze each nauseating vignette. Your choices are: A) What is incompetence; B) What is massive disorganization; C) What is a cover-up; D) What is criminal; E) What is all of the above

Maybe the president was campaigning or golfing after the first bombing…….but the second attack could not possibly be brushed away, so what prompts the fairy tale that it was a spontaneous attack triggered by an internet video?

Chronologically speaking it is instructive to begin with the case of flagrante delicto involving a presidential appointee, and not just any presidential appointee: a man hand-picked by this president to head the CIA despite the “open secret” that his dalliance with Paula Broadwell was known to the military as far back as 2009. The CIA Director does not even go to the grocery store alone much less travel without an armed entourage and communication systems that won’t be imagined for sci-fi thrillers for decades. We are being sold, um, excuse me, being “told” that a man who lives in this unimaginable bubble of security and information, surrounded by staff, on call 24 hours per day, was able to carry on an affair and nobody knew about it until it was brought to the attention of the FBI and Eric Holder last spring.

The next circumstances to examine are the bombings of our Libyan Embassy in Benghazi that occurred on April 6th and June 6th of this year, clearly harbingers of the final attack on September 11th. The president receives a daily briefing by top security sources, so he was either not advised and did not receive the briefings (impossible), was given inaccurate information, or ignored what he was told. Did Petraeus provide incomplete data because, ahem, he had his hands full with other matters? Maybe the president was campaigning or golfing after the first bombing…….but the second attack could not possibly be brushed away, so what prompts the fairy tale that it was a spontaneous attack triggered by an internet video?

Upon analysis of the post-Benghazi destruction, the bad acting starts in earnest, beginning with a puppet, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, tossing out manure faster than a John Deere spreader, and UN ambassador Susan Rice singing out of the same hymn book with an intentional obfuscation of facts, otherwise known as lying. Though Attorney General Holder knew about the investigation of Playboy Petraeus from the onset, we are being told as the lies compound that he never confided in the president that the head of his spy agency had been compromised, a kindergarten-level explanation continually advanced to such a degree that the president said two weeks post-Benghazi carnage in front of the UN that the cause of the attack was a video nobody has yet seen, and meanwhile the noose is getting tighter around the neck of his intel-chief, clearly not only in the form of an investigation but from the White House itself. And let’s not forget the motive: re-election. Once again, there are several options available for an explanation but we are now getting into a very, very dark area, so the best choice for this chapter and it is fast-tracking toward criminal conspiracy.

I have lived in Washington DC, known influential lobbyists, dined with senators as well as representatives. Here’s a news bulletin: there are no secrets in Washington DC, period. That brings us to the insipid, eye-batting Senator Diane Feinstein, the Chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, who claims the news about David H. (as in Hefner) Petraeus hit her like a “thunderbolt” when she was briefed about his imminent resignation. Really Diane? Did you go to the same acting class that produced Hill the Shill Clinton?

First, you have been in Washington for decades and know the game. You are not only advised and consulted about our nation’s most sensitive and classified military and intelligence maneuvers, you have unlimited sources and connections of your own, yet you tell Chris Wallace during an interview that you were shocked by the revelations upon which you were officially and commodiously advised two days post-election?

The last scenario to examine is the role of the president, emperor, king, or whatever he wants to be called in what he likely considers the second of his five terms. If he claims to have not known, the systems and personnel he put in place failed to advise him and he is disorganized. If he knew and decided not to act, he is incompetent. If he knew and continued to lie he is part of a massive cover-up, and if he is part of the cover-up, he is arguably part of the criminal conspiracy which persistently suggests he was “unaware” of all security matters, which violates his oath to protect and defend, as conveniently, convoluted, and unlikely a scenario as me being consulted for strategy about troop movements.

We now have yet another general in the Petraeus scandal, a general in a war zone who somehow found time to send 30,000 PAGES of emails to another woman in Tampa either on the periphery of the monkey business or smack in the middle of it. To put that number in perspective, after contributing to Mr. Massie’s blog for nearly a year, I have yet to use 50,000 WORDS. Additionally we have a rogue FBI agent who likes to send topless photos of himself and every last player in this tawdry web is married. And, lest we forget, the ongoing issues with the Secret Service in Cartagena have yet to be resolved. Bring on the acrobats, painted lady, strong man, monkeys, and elephants. The circus is in town. Meanwhile, the same cabal that lied to the American people about Benghazi is insisting no security interests or individuals were compromised. How grossly and arrogantly premature.

What do you think foreign spies in our country are paid to do? Do you actually think they did not know about these shenanigans? You can be assured Putin knew, Iran knew, the Muslim Brotherhood knew, and due to its marvelous intelligence sources, Israel probably knew before anyone else. Worse yet, does anyone believe this is the first rodeo for Petraeus? It sure wasn’t for Eliot Spitzer so it is specious to suggest as the ball of yarn continues to unravel that anyone is in full possession of the facts and could state emphatically to the contrary.

Remember as you analyze this to phrase your response in the form of a question, and if time allows, visit your local community theater.

And don’t forget to tip your server.

May I add something else to this mystery? What has happened to all the people our hero Navy Seals rescued? I believe there was around 20 or 30. No questioning of them? Just find this rather odd too, seeing how they would have been smack dab in the middle of this attack, or at least in the very near vicinity. Has anyone heard anything that I may have missed?

    • Lisa G November 17, 2012 at 9:56 pm #

Pamela, funny you mention them, I was asking just this the other day. Who are they, where are they, what do they know?

      • Pamela Arnold November 18, 2012 at 10:57 am #

Hi Lisa, Sorry if I did not see your post. But it is so very strange, isn’t it? Narry a mention of any of them. I was beginning to think it was all just “my” imagination. I know the one guy they apprehended, was eventually whisked away to Tunisia, supposedly to be questioned after the election. (Marilyn makes note of this in the post below.)I’m starting to think, they too, will be another part of the cover-up, and just disappear. Nobama just can’t allow for anyone to come out with the truth, especially if it will make the liar-in-chief look like the monster he is!

  2. Marilyn November 17, 2012 at 4:45 pm #

I’m still waiting for the Suspect in the Benghazi attack to appear. Ali Ani al Harzi was arrested in Turkey, a NATO ally, but oddly transferred to Tunesia where investigators can’t get access to him for questioning until AFTER the presidential election. Well, the election is over but what happend to Harzi? Is he still alive? He has first hand knowledge of what went down in Benghazi. I think Ham and Allen will have some important data to impart if they have not been gagged. And, their rank should be reinstated and they should be commended for their actions! There is a lot of “intrigue” about this entire sordid Benghazi mess but it comes down, for me, the President giving the “Stand Down” command at least three times! Military are trained that no American is left behind. Evidently the president doesn’t know or follow the rules. The dead American’s families are certainly wondering why the president would ever give such a command. As for Susan Rice, she is a polished, well educated lady and her position at the UN would indicate that she knew exactly what was happening. To parrot the president and Secretary of State about the video being the cause of the “rioting,” makes her more unreliable in my estimation. It’s as if she were handed a script and told to read this or else! This wouldn’t be the first time a second term president screwed up and lost his job!!

    • Dan Bubalo November 17, 2012 at 6:11 pm #

I know we’re both thinking the same thing, Marilyn………

As for Rice, how about Hillary Shilling like an amateur, too? ?

  3. Brother Steve November 16, 2012 at 5:40 pm #

The president is a very dangerous individual, as are the inept, amateur members of his administration. But, far more dangerous are the 60,334,619 koolaid-addicted idiots who voted to re-elect the liar-in-chief. The next four years will no doubt see unimaginable damage wrought on the bedrock of our republic.

    • Dan Bubalo November 17, 2012 at 12:11 am #

Nothing is free as we both know, Brother Steve, but instead of teaching that lesson to the parasites, the standard of living we worked to attain will remain under attack until everything is brought into his perverse and Marxist idea of equilibrium.

      • Pamela Arnold November 18, 2012 at 11:04 am #

So true Dan. And the pathetic part, is Israel is being bombed, yet he has to run off to Bangkock (sp?), Cambodia, and one other asian country and give them talking points about how to have a good democracy. Had to mute that photo-op this morning. Such a little weasel in a great big world.

    • Lisa G November 17, 2012 at 9:58 pm #

I doubt that many VALID voters did vote for Emperor O.

  4. Steven Lambert November 16, 2012 at 5:46 pm #

    Kudos to Dan! Spot on!

What can we do to get this out to the rest of America. The mainstream media will only report what is best for the Obama administration and the democrats think Fox News is too one sided to tell the truth, and just a right-wing rag. Most of them think we are just racist Tea Partiers even though we support Allen West. Herman Cain, etc., and follow Mychal Massie and so many others. I feel so helpless. And what about today with Patreus? I’m afraid this will be just another cover up. I feel so helpless. Please HELP!

    • Robin Huffman November 16, 2012 at 12:42 pm #

I don’t know why this posted twice.

    • Dan Bubalo November 16, 2012 at 1:38 pm #

Conservatism is still the solution, Robin, but clearly the Republican party is no longer that vehicle. The Tea Party is still young and growing and it’s voice will soon be the only viable alternative.

  7. r. woods November 16, 2012 at 11:51 am #

    Dan,
You’re killing me here! So much truth in so few words and so well put, it’s like their looking out the side of the curtain to see if we believe them yet. I’ve said it before “0 and the majority of his cabinet are criminals and need to be standing trial for treason”. Stay in there Dan there are people out here that want and need the truth.

    • Dan Bubalo November 16, 2012 at 1:56 pm #

The pleasure is all mine, r.woods.

  8. Pamela Arnold November 16, 2012 at 11:16 am #

Dan, There is no honor amongst liars, traitors, and murderers. Everyone is now out to look after their own behinds. (Mainly, their high profile,& high paying jobs.)Most will not accept honor over greed. It’s a sad and very different America today.

  9. Chris Sanchez November 16, 2012 at 4:02 pm #

This was not "Drama." It was the other mask, "Comédie" and before anyone jumps on me for my spelling – Comédie is the original and correct spelling. I honestly was laughing so hard, my husband came in to see what was what. He had a snicker or two himself. No, not at what you were saying, Dan, but how you said it. We are both retired military and "there ain't no secrets" in the military, especially in the intel division. Even retired, a General are authorized an aide-de-camp and that person has to know everything that "their" General is doing or they get hung by their own aiguillette. When this "affaire" started, whenever it started, if it actually started (seems unlikely considering schedules and onlookers), it was known to dozens of people within seconds. I refuse to believe that out of the many, not one leaked. Pfffffffft. Well said, Dan. Keep up the good work.

    • Dan Bubalo November 16, 2012 at 1:55 pm #

So glad you caught the edginess, Chris. It’s a serious matter, but the way it’s playing out can hardly make one take it TOO seriously.

      Send in more clowns.

      • Pamela Arnold November 18, 2012 at 11:12 am #

Dan & Chris, now we get to add another part to this “play”. Seems as though Kelly, the weak link in this entourage, has been a visitor to the White House on at least 3 occassions. Coincidence? I don’t think so!

    • Joan Thivierge Charron November 16, 2012 at 9:18 pm #

@Chris – You are right on the mark, absolutement. Having also served in the military, I can attest that there are no such things as secrets. And having worked for the fed government, now retired, I know for a fact that there are no secrets there either. Both are Peyton Places with hanky panky playing out from the top right down to the lowest echelon.

  10. Lanny Gene Wood November 16, 2012 at 3:59 pm #

The David Patreaus sexual adventure and resignation as the CIA director is a planned distraction to take our eyes off the obvious fraudalent election. "Never let a crisis go to waste" Rham Emanuel sort of thing…

  11. Lanny Gene Wood November 16, 2012 at 3:53 pm #

Mr Bubalo's straight forward analysis of the goings on of the Washington Knights of the Round Table pretty much hits the nail on the head. I agrewe with Nancy Werany's comment that president Obama knows nothing, does nothing and takes no responsibility for nothing. What are we paying him for? He's imcompitent to say the least and criminal in fact.

    • Dan Bubalo November 16, 2012 at 1:52 pm #

Never thought we’d see a president act like Sgt. Schultz on Hogan’s Heroes. This “I know nothing. I see nothing,” does not bring statesmanship readily to mind.

      • Lisa G November 17, 2012 at 10:00 pm #

        Barack Hussein O’Schultz.

  12. Steven Lambert November 16, 2012 at 3:50 pm #

Brilliant Mychal! You nailed it again! How do you do that with such prescience and frequency, my friend? LOL!

    • Rebecca November 16, 2012 at 11:44 am #

Steven Lambert, Mychal didn’t write this, Dan Bubalo did.

To Pamela whose comment is below. The affair started AFTER

      • Rebecca November 16, 2012 at 11:52 am #

Sorry, I got cut off in my response to Pamela Arnold. Pamela, the affair started AFTER Petraeus was named head of the CIA . . . . .yes, he knew Broadwell earlier, but the affair started later. You are judging on the MISinformation that Dan Bubalo printed. That is why the FBI didn’t discover the affair when they vetted him . . .. because there was NOT one at that time. I think people need to get their facts straight before posting .

Also, I notice in an earlier post you said MOST people would choose greed over honor . . .well, actually, you can only speak for yourself and say what you would do. I have quit jobs rather than sacrifice my honor . . and I don’t believe I am alone in this.

I was always taught . .you judge others by your own code of ethics. In other words, if you are a liar, you think most people lie. If you cheat, you think most people cheat. If you would put greed over honor . . . .etc. I, myself, believe that most people are honorable . . .not all, but most.

        • Pamela Arnold November 17, 2012 at 5:22 pm #

          My dear, honorable Rebecca,
I was not going to bother with replying to you, because if you go through and read all your posts, you sound quite delusional and hypocritical. Must be off your meds? I never knew that someone, such as yourself, could know everything, and with such perfection. Possibly you should have your own website?
I will honestly say, I could be wrong, because, unlike some, I am not perfect. I had read on many different occassions, that Petraeous did start his affair before being sworn in as the CIA Director. BUT, that would really only be known between Paula & David, now wouldn’t it?
And as far as being so deprecating of others, have you heard the phrase, “clean off your own doorstep first”? You tell other people to search their own souls before casting stones? Honey, your throwing boulders. I’m sure not hearing the “love” and “forgiveness” in your tone. And, off the subject matter here for just a sec, if you”ll honor me that time. I believe Nobama to be a liar, a fraud, a hypocryte, cheating, greedy, back-stabbing, treasonous, deceptive, piece of trash. AND….I am none of the above! So, when it comes to calling a spade a spade,it does not necessarily mean I am one too. So, if nothing else, can you try and be just a little more respectful to people? Because your not sounding very “Christian”! And between you & me, I choose my friends wisely, which is why I can spot/smell these creatures from far away.
          ~Blessings~

    • Pamela Arnold November 18, 2012 at 11:19 am #

Steven, yes he did nail it, as always. And I, like you, since both Mychal and Dan are such great journalist, often get confused on who wrote the article on a particular day. We just know that they both are keeping us well informed. And that is what’s important.
      ~Take Care~

  13. Pamela Arnold November 16, 2012 at 10:43 am #

Ok. Does everyone get this email before me? Sheesh. So many posts already. I feel a conspiracy here. lol Alrighty, on a more serious note, has anyone thought about the fact, that before Gen. Petraeous became head of the CIA, he first had to be vetted months in advance by the FBI? That, of course, would mean, they knew far in advance that Gen. Petraeous was having an affair. And this would have to be reported to Ovomit. So, yep, this whole “game” stinks a big one! They knew. The covered it up. They set him (Petraeous) up! It is a cover up of magnitudes that I believe we may never find out, unfortunately. And, for the people whom I have heard saying, “they believe it was a coverup, because it was so close to election day, well….I’m not falling for that one either. I feel it goes far deeper and more destructive. Why did Chris Stevens meet with the Turkey Prime minister, just hours before this terrorist attack? And then, the Prime Minister was given a so-called hour head start to be out of the building before the attack. In my honest “opinion”, I think there was some gun trading going on to help the rebels in Syria. Which, of course would mean, our beloevd (cough-cough) Ovmit, would be guilty on more than just the 4 murders of our American hereos. Prayerfully, we will somehow be able to find out the “real” facts. I think the FRAUD needs to be tried for treason, and high crimes and misdemeanors!

    • Dan Bubalo November 16, 2012 at 1:50 pm #

Another “prop” in this Kabuki theater, Pamela, is the video.

The reason nobody has seen it is because it was on ice at youtube, so who decided to declare it the catalyst and why? My guess is that it was a hole cared to play to help perpetuate the ruse and protect the weak machinations emanating from the Oval Office.

    • Lisa G November 17, 2012 at 10:06 pm #

I read directly after the Benghazi tragedy that there was Syria help going on out of our facilities there, which would explain why we were still in the area after all other westerners had cleared out, unless it was help for Assad??

  14. JoAnn Dolberg November 16, 2012 at 3:24 pm #

Oh what a hoot! Brilliant, acid and clearly right on!

    • Dan Bubalo November 16, 2012 at 1:44 pm #

Going to have to keep my quill pen Wilkenson-sharp, JoAnn. There’s still a lot more to come.

  15. Jackie Myers Thompson November 16, 2012 at 3:05 pm #

This the only analysis of this fiasco that has come close to being believable.

    • Dan Bubalo November 16, 2012 at 1:40 pm #

Thanks, JM Thompson. So far making sense out of it all is like sorting through a bag full of snakes.

  16. Lolo November 16, 2012 at 9:57 am #

Here’s my question Dan. Why are we paying so much attention to the indescetions of these two supposed military leaders when we have far bigger fish in the sea to deal with, ie: Bengazhi; an election that was CLEARLY fraudulent; thousands of our very own population who are hurting so badly since hurricane Sandy and nothing seems to be happening to aide them? Oh, wait, no need to answer. I forgot that we once had a President who carried on a riduculous affair RIGHT IN THE WHITEHOUSE and who said time and again “I did not have sexual relations with that woman.” I guess the media is trying to make good.

    • Dan Bubalo November 16, 2012 at 10:20 am #

Indiscretions are the smoke screen, Lolo, and matter little to me in this mess. The cover-up and motivation for intentionally misreprenting undeniable facts with respect to Benghazi are what should have reasonable people from both sides of the aisle crying foul.

  17. Alexandra Claire Wainwright November 16, 2012 at 2:43 pm #

"What a tangled web we weave when first we practise to deceive" This web is getting more andfmore tangled and whilst Rome is burning the ignorant people are the ones doing the fiddling. I say this because they do not seem to care or maybe they are ashamed after they decided to put their 'boy' back in the Whitehouse. It is truly a sad state of the affairs of the United States. It is like a nightmare that refuses to end.

    • Dan Bubalo November 16, 2012 at 10:14 am #

Nightmare, indeed, Alexandra. Forget the fiscal cliff; this is like rolling down a steep hill and discovering there’s no way to stop until reaching the bottom.

    • Mindy Robinson November 17, 2012 at 5:02 am #

My opinion is of little value but all the same… From the research I have done, what I read on blogs and comment sections of various articles , I believe the people of this nation have been manipulated. A war of words between Americans, based on party association. I also believe that the weapon used to divide Americans and have them at each others throats is fear. IE : Driving over the fiscal cliff. By sicking Americans on one another, spewing blame and hate at one another, this admin has effectivley disarmed us. Our attention has been diverted from the real source of Ameria's biggest problem, we are too busy warring amongst ourselves. In the end, we are all Americans and I still believe most of us believe in this nation , her roots and our constituion.

  18. Rebecca November 16, 2012 at 9:31 am #

    Hey Dan,
Petraeus KNEW Broadwell in 2009, but the affair did not begin until after he became CIA director. You need to check your facts before you write an article that can influence thousands of people.
Also, what have you done in your illustrious career of “blog writing” that can come anywhere near the acievements of General Petraeus?? I’m guessing nothing. So he commited a sin (note, not a crime), haven’t we all??
Now, stack your sin against his . . . . then stack your achievement record against his . . . . .hum-m-m-m-m, I’m thinking Petraeus has contributed more to this world than you.
Are you by any chance a Christian?? Because I don’t hear love or forgiveness in your tone. I think you better search your own life and heart before throwing stones.

    • Dan Bubalo November 16, 2012 at 10:11 am #

It wouldn’t matter if I believed in witchcraft, Rebecca.

My source material is solid, and sinning and achievements are not criteria nor do they preclude one from offering opinion and analysis.

      • Rebecca November 16, 2012 at 11:58 am #

Dan, unless your source is Broadwell or Petraeus, it is hearsay. And you know how reliable hearsay is . . .it’s not allowed as testimony in a court of law.

So unless you were a fly on the wall . .. it is not a solid source, it is hearsay . . .

Petraeus, Broadwell, and one of Petraeus’s close friends have all stated it happened after he resigned and went to the CIA.

This is beneath you or Mychal.

        • Fred Campbell November 16, 2012 at 12:11 pm #

          Good point.
Just what do we know (for a fact) about the onset and duration of the liaisons?

          • Dan Bubalo November 16, 2012 at 12:13 pm #

Guess we’ll just have to go with that bastion of integrity and accuracy, Fred: the media.

        • Lisa G November 17, 2012 at 10:17 pm #

Wow, I have even less of an achievement record than Dan, does that mean my opinion matters even less maybe even not at all on Rebecca’s scale?? We all have different backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and that’s what makes the comment sharing here and elsewhere valuable. And Miss Rebecca cites Petraeus, Broadwell, and one of Petraeus’ close friends as source of her information – did they speak directly to her or is it gasp hearsay via media?online? drums?

    • Bruce November 16, 2012 at 10:30 am #

      Rebecca,
Actually, for a man in his position it is worse than a crime, it borders on treason. For someone with the highest security clearance available, any issue such as infidelity leads to something that can be exploited by (name a nation/organization). As Dan points out, you’re deluding yourself if you think our enemies didn’t know. As soon as the FBI knew, he should have had his security clearance suspended and he should have been forced to resign on immediately. it would have happened to me when I was in the Navy. Not sure why no-one else is bringing up this aspect.

Who’s to say he was not already extorted in some way or another. God bless him for all the great things he has done, but if he did anything to harm this country as a result of his stupidity, then all else is erased. As we said in the Navy, one Aw-Shit erases all attaboys.

      • Rebecca November 16, 2012 at 12:09 pm #

Hey Bruce, my point is that this affair happened AFTER he left the miliary . . that was my point with Dan.

As far as treason . . . are you naive enough to think he is the only person in the CIA or with top security clearance to have an affair????

Only if he allowed himself to be blackmailed, would it become treason. All of you seem to be missing the point . .

I believe Obama threatened to expose Petraeus if his testimony did not support Obama . . .and that Petraeus resigned and confessed to the affair rather than lie under oath and support Obama’s lie about Benghazi. Look at the timeline, Petraeus has a private meeting with O, just before his testimony . . . .all of a sudden he decides to confess his affair and resign.

Do any of you really , really think that if Petraeus had agreed to support O, that his affair would have been covered up along with the details about Benghazi???? Do you really give O credit for asking Petraeus to do the honorable think . . .this is O we are talking about!! He is trying to ruin our country!! Petraeus’s affair to Obama was just an opportunity to force him to tow the line and not make waves.

You people need to wake up and stop condemning a man who probably did not commit any greater sin than any of you have.
And which of you faced with the choice would have publicly confessed rather than support Obama. Look what he has suffered and what his and Broadwell’s families have suffered . . . and all he had to do to avoid it was to support Obama’s lie about Benghazi.

Rebecca, have you forgotten that he (Petraeous), did in fact support Nobama’s lies? First he had said he knew it was a terrorist attack. Then, a couple of days later, he blamed it on the video. Now, he has once again back tracked and said he knew in the beginning that it was a terrorist attack. Oh my what a web we weave!

Rebecca-How do you know when the affair began? We have been told by Washington it was discovered this spring, last spring, and everyting inbetween and prior. Whenever it began, Washington new from day one and decided to bring it out in the open at the ‘convenient’ time of after the election, and prior to the Benghazi investigation. Love and forgiveness come after the truth has been told and there is repentance.

I read an article on the internet that quoted Petraeus as saying it started two months after he joined the CIA. I read another one where a close friend of Broadwell’s stated that Broadwell said it happened the same time. I very close friend of Patraeus was on (Hum-m-m I’m pretty sure it was Hannity)and he said he had talked to Petraeus after the story broke (he just called him as a friend)and that Petraeus told him that it started after he became head of the CIA. So that’s three sources quoted. Two of them were the ones involved . . .the one on Hannity had talked directly to Petraeus. Therefore I think those are the best sources.

Everything everyone else says should be considered hearsay . . .actually the friend on Hannity is hearsay also . . .but THAT is really a solid source.

People are not paying attention to the fact that it was in Obama’s interest to CONTROL what Petraus said. Obama unexpectedly called Petraeus to a meeting at the White House on Thursday . . . . Petraeus resigned Friday. There is no doubt in my mind . .that if Petraeus had been going to testify if favor of O, that the scandal would have gone away.
My personal belief is that Petraeus told Obama to take his job and shove it . .. because he refused to be blackmailed. Of course, this is just my opinion, based on the facts as I know them. . . . .

And I have read a few different articles that said his affair began before being appointed to the CIA. And, as Robin articulated above, we have heard everything, and all of it being different. So guess you can just pick and choose, dates, timelines, and whether it’s a lie or not a lie. This is beginning to sound more like a game of CLUE. (MR. Mustard, killed Ms. Peacock, in the library, with the candlestick.)And in the end, some may believe he gets away with it, while others will hang him….out to dry.

This is the best read of this murder of Americans under Obama's watch. Maybe not a play, but a movie could be made of this – is Peter Sellers available? We pay these clowns who obfuscate, lie and deflect, all to not take responsibiity for their actions. Where are the other 30 people at the consultate that were saved by the Navy Seals? Why have they not spoken up, being real-time witnesses to the event?

This president knows nothing, does nothing and takes responsibility for nothing! We pay him for knowing, doing and taking responsibility. If he were an employee he would have been fired long ago. About 48,000,000 of us think he is incompetent and tried to hire someone else that at least has a background we can look up.

    AMERICANS WAKE UP!

Thanks, Nancy. If a year ago one had set forth these circumstances as having the potential to occur their medication would have come under scrutiny.

Here’s a creepy thought: given what is going on now, who can imagine where we’ll be as a nation a year from now?

      • Pamela Arnold November 17, 2012 at 6:05 pm #

Awww….gee Dan, do we have to? I’d prefer to play Ostrich and keep my head buried in the sand. Well, at least until Sharia Law is enacted, and then….off with the head!

  20. Andrea Rosser November 16, 2012 at 2:20 pm #

What is all of the above! Great rant, as usual, Dan…

I appreciate that, Andrea. (hint: apparently one responder today does not share your opinion, though I won’t lose sleep over it)

What is going on at all levels in the politburo and the inability for congress to hold this regime accountable, for anything, is truly a disgrace. If we don’t find a backbone, somewhere, in the political process we will finally loose the country.

We need the Tea Party to rally the people and be a real alternative to the GOP. Someone needs to stand up and tell the boy king that he is not king.

    • Dan Bubalo November 16, 2012 at 9:58 am #

Politburo for sure, Ben, and eerie foreshadowings of a guy named Castro.

It does seem as if nothing is real. Watching Faux News and the other controlled news stations is a big waste of time. It is controlled. CONTROLLED.

    • Dan Bubalo November 16, 2012 at 9:56 am #

And not a Woodward or a Berstein to be found anywhere, BigH20.

I don’t understand the fear or reluctance to report facts.

I think that the insidious campaign over the past four decades to ridicule and diminish and even demonize all things American, to champion weakness and pettiness, actions have no consequences, Christianity is one of the world’s evils, blah blah blah has resulted in spineless wussies, fearful of being called any name no matter how untrue, fearful of not being popular even among pissy people – - – and one-sided standards where if it falls under “liberal” anything goes, otherwise all else is baaaaad – - and libs such as Woodward amd Bernstein who might have been impartial actual investigative joirnalists no matter where – or to whom – the evidence leads can’t bring themselves to investigate their own no matter how huge and important a story might be. Yet everything real libs dispise and real conservatives stand for underlies what built this country – work ethics, self-discipline, individual responsibility, greater good, common sense, basic honesty decency; no one was perfect nor are they now but striving for higher standards mean even those who fail are at a higher level; the current low standards guarantee both low failures and low “success”. I have lived in developing countries and am horrified to see all of the parallels here now in attitude and behavior; I have said for at least 15 years, we are throwing away with both hands what others around the world can only dream of ever achieving. And in the name of what?
