Covering up and making things up is not new when it comes to liberals in the media or for that matter PBS. Walter Kronkite, Dan Rather, and most of the Vietnam era broadcasters sat straight-faced every evening and told us lies and distortion about what was taking place in the war.
CNN Bureau Chief Iraq, Eason Jordan returned to the America and without a trace of remorse freely admitted he had misrepresented, under reported, and lied about Saddam’s Iraq in order for CNN to retain their news bureau there. Even liberals remember Dan Rather being outed as knowingly (or at the very least suspecting) his reports per George W. Bush’s National Guard record were fraudulent.
And the coverup continues with the media going to great lengths not to embarrass and/or show Obama for what he is – an uninspiring, big school graduated jitter-bug pettifogger.
The media wants Obama portrayed as brilliant and accomplished because it fits their biased and bigoted viewpoints. They can’t have a black Alinkyite liberal exposed as being dumb as a stump – in large part due to their political correctness, to do so would make them racists. If they lambast Justice Thomas or other conservatives of color as such it’s okay, because as every good liberal knows – any black who isn’t an affirmative action baby, who doesn’t need, want, nor is interested in their help, threatens their hold over 11 percent of the nation.
Liberal sycophants, mindless automatons, and bigots like the Simon Wemby who presented himself as a professor in United Kingdom who wrote me that I mine was “malignant, vile, and wholly unjustifiable [in my] denunciation” of Obama in my column “Nero In The White House” – support the likes of Obama. However, you can bet your bottom dollar he would have applauded me as enlightened had I written the same thing about Justice Thomas or George W. Bush.
Here’s your assignment should you choose to accept. How many times did the press recount any misstatement by George Bush? How many times/days in row did we hear and see the apoplectic hysteria of liberal media (and FoxNews) pursuant to the number of American military lost in Iraq/Afghanistan – compared to Obama’s invasion of Libya? How many times did witness Democrats literally becoming exhausted from encopresis of the mouth and brain, screaming about Bush and an undeclared war? What did liberals say about Bush when he called for reform of the IRS? How many of Justice Thomas’s opinions have been criticized by knowledgeable Constitutionalists who are not bound to ideology?
The truth is they excoriated Bush and Justice Thomas as being dumb and poorly educated. But the smartest man in the world, claims there are 57 states, he stumbles and stammers over facts, he has been exposed literally in mid sentence as lying and not just about the Supreme Court. Jim Carrey told fewer lies in the movie “Liar Liar” before his son’s birthday wish, than Obama has been factually documented (read: caught in) telling.
Specific to the point that the media covers for him is the latest instance of same. Obama, the great and gifted legal mind (sarcasm intended), falsely claimed in his recent jobs speech, that Abraham Lincoln founded the Republican Party. While the NY Times reported his words, PBS who fired Juan Williams for innocuous comments that had nothing to do with his position – were caught red-handed altering the transcript of Obama’s speech so as to avoid his glaringly errant claim. Lincoln didn’t found the Republican Party nor was he involved even tangentially with same.
If liberals will go to those lengths in covering up for Obama, what other lengths and what else will they cover? Can they be trusted to tell the truth about anything? There is one more thing that Obama is wrong about. America is not a Democracy, it is a Representative Republic. And as such he represents the will of the people. Ergo, we will exercise our right to remove him from his pedestal in November 2012. In the mean time we must demand that the Republican Party not continue to bow before his throne.
Liberals and Liberal Media not only “cover up” for Obama, they distort and outright LIE about the Republican Candidates and leaders. For example, MSNBC recently featured Dr. Michael Dyson & Rev.Al Sharpton on “The Ed Show.” Sharpton, who believes he is the representative all things Black, blasted Herman Cain, saying he played the “race card” by stating the fact that he is “A Real Black Man.” (He is, isn’t he? What’s wrong with that statement??) Instead of being proud that there is such a brilliant man of color running for POTUS, he downs him in an effort to support Obama – by doing the very thing he is condemning Cain for — playing the race card! Now, It sure looks to me like Rev. Al might be threatened by the fact that if HC goes up against Al’s beloved Socialist-In-Chief, he and the Libs will lose control of their platform of garnering the white guilt vote – and the votes from the people of color who only voted for BO because he is not White. The latter of which may wake up out of their Kool-Aid daze and see that they have been deceived and the most negatively affected by their dear “Savior.” Not only is BO not paying their mortgages and filling their tanks with gas, his policies have lost them their homes and made it so they can’t afford a gallon of gas to get to the jobs they no longer have. We all know Al jumps at any chance to get on t.v. and spew his hatred and skewed ideals to divide our people, but throwing HC under the bus just shows he’d go to any lengths to maintain the Sheeple vote to keep his own liberal agenda alive!

Exactly, Mychal – Sharpton has NO room to call anyone out for playing the race card. My question is this: How on Earth did he ever become relevant? I remember when he was just the laughing-stock sidekick to Jesse Jackson… since when did the media start calling on him as an expert guest? Is the fact that he lost weight, that crazy televangelist hairdo and the polyester suits all it takes? Sigh…. I think I know the answer to that. :-/
I believe Mychal that the long drawn out process of dumbing down the public school systems has “edumacated” a significant part of our populace to the level of know-nothingness and “cultural diversity” that has allowed the likes of Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Chris Matthews, Dan Rather, Rahm Immanuel, Jay Carney, Keith Olbermann and the rest of the lunatic fringe to finally climb out of the spider holes in which they’ve been hiding. To paraphrase Einstein’s theory, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of insanity…or in our case idiocy. They not only believe in the crap espoused by the Left, they actually believe that the Left is the hand that feeds them….well the real HAND that feeds them is sick of it and has given birth to, among other things, a new Sheriff in town…the TEA Party. Come 2013 when Obama is back in Chicago with another multi-million dollar book deal, and Perry or Romney are in the WH…..and Obamacare is in our crosshairs, along with the 600+ new…soon to be old, regulations fostered by Obama’s Csars….let’s see what the Left’s excuse mongers contrive to explain to their minions why their bottom fell out. My guess is it will be just like when Rap Brown and Stokely Carmichael back in the ’60′s incited inner city Blacks to riot, burn and loot….they did….except they rioted, burned and looted in their own neighborhoods, Rap and Stokely left town, and the inner city Blacks were left wondering what happened? Except Obama will probably be living in a Secret Service protected cocoon in Chicago and/or Martha’s Vineyard.

In the days of Huntley Brinkley the major networks hired journalists to report the news,
replete with pictures and accurate statements. They delivered the news of the day..what
had occurred, when and where..you trusted their delivery, because they gave you no
reason to do otherwise. Long before television, my family relied on the radio for their news and
all related matters. Newspapers were an integral part of our sphere and when the pictures
of those we had known only by voice came into our living room we were held in awe at this
incredible invention. These men were held in the highest esteem and we came to welcome
them into our homes as we would had they entered in person. The years have not been kind
to news personalities….mainly because they are personalities not journalists. They may hold
degrees but they do not hold our respect. We question them, their editors, their newsroom
policy and the glaring bias that has replaced trustworthiness. The fourth estate has been
reduced to second rate. The tarnished industry begins with college professors and carries
over to network CEOs..Until those in powerful positions hold the truth to be the ultimate goal
then what we are left with is the rantings of Chris Matthews, the gibberish of Al Sharpton and
the pathetic diatribes of Paul Krugman……we deserve better only if we demand better. We may
not have a pulpit but we have a voice and the power to change channels,cancel subscriptions
and question,question,question…

Again, you drove the FACTS and TRUTH home. I watch as much national news as possible to sort of get a feel for things, realizing of course, that there may or may not be a smattering of truth to all of it. However, I did have a moment of crystallized thought. One of the candidates in the NY race to fill Weiner’s office has Clinton on his side who is using robo-dialing to call the masses of voters. In Clinton’s message, he made the statement that his candidate of choice will “stand up for the middle class”. Someone with a very dissecting and analytical eye needs to take an extremely close look at this catch-all phrase. To me, it immediately came to mind that this how those wishing to force their agenda(s) on this “middle class” does this. The use of that phrase has an appeal all its own in its pure, unbiased form. But, as in all other things, politicians use it to accomplish their own agendas. Narcissist Obama did this to usurp the office of presidency and he continues to do it. Middle class my butt………EVERYONE stands up for the middle class and it is truly ironic that this “middle class” is the TEA PARTY. So, I would assume that Clinton endorses those candidates who stand up for the middle class, ie, the tea party.
