Barack Obama promised to transform America. Usually, if the man tells you it will be sunny all day, you would be wise to take an umbrella with you. Unfortunately, this is one time he meant what he said. More unfortunate, the promise to transform America seemed relatively innocuous – just nice sounding-words that people could interpret to mean what they wanted them to mean. However, BO had a very specific plan in mind – a plan that would undermine our very freedoms and enslave us by increasing our dependence on government. It has become apparent that in order for him to “transform” America, he must first destroy it. He is, indeed, a man seeking to change times and laws.
This, my friends, is nothing short of a well-disguised coup d’état and his plan of governance has proved to be nothing short of treason. While the Constitution describes treason as aiding and abetting the enemy, plotting to overthrow the government should also be considered treason.
If America is to survive, it’s high time we face reality and start calling a spade a “spade”. Only then can we figure out what needs to be done next.
To be clear:
“A coup d’état typically uses the extant government’s power to assume political control of the country. In Coup d’État: A Practical Handbook, military historian Edward Luttwak states that’[a] coup consists of the infiltration of a small, but critical, segment of the state apparatus, which is then used to displace the government from its control of the remainder.’” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coup_d’%C3%A9tat (Emphasis added.)
Whether you call this a coup d’état or treason, the results are the same. This “transformation” has affected our education system, our freedom to worship as we please, our morality, our ability to pursue happiness, our right to our own property and the fruit of our labors, and our right to bear arms. In order to be able to achieve transformation, BO, through his actions, has proven that he is committed to destroying America so that he can then recreate it according to his own global ideology. He has been successful in destroying our economy, our morality, our media, and ravishing our military. While most in their reluctance to face reality insist that he is incompetent or are bewildered by his lack of leadership or common sense, the opposite is actually true. He has been extremely successful in destroying the great American experiment – or “transforming” it, as he has cleverly labeled his plan. And this, my friends, is only the beginning of what BO has in store. The land of the free will no longer be free but shackled by absurd regulations instituted through Executive Orders and you can expect that even your property and parental rights will be surrendered to the United Nations.
The question is – is America still the home of the brave? How Americans react to BO’s latest assault against our right to bear arms will answer that question. If we lose that right, we may still be brave but we will also become vulnerable. A friend once told me that we don’t need the Second Amendment, as long as we have it. I’m not a prophet or a seer but I will make this prediction, if we lose the battle to keep and bear arms, we will find out just how many other rights we have lost. And I will also predict that shortly thereafter, President Obama will be crowned King Obama – Our Savior!
For us who love liberty, it may be a choice to fight or die. The Bible says: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Hosea 4:6. I can only pray that America will soon be liberated from that condition and wake up and smell the pungent odor of treason that permeates the air of liberty.
The question I’m raising here is how do we fight a coup? For the answer to that question, we should look to history. Counter-coups have fallen into the successful and unsuccessful categories. They have also run the gambit from violent to peaceful. One thing they all had in common is that they had leaders who understood the state of their condition, refused to cooperate with the coup, and were able to motivate others to do likewise. Unfortunately, America has been tragically slow to understand her fate and worse –she has not yet produced men or women who both understand the tenants of civil resistance and possess leadership abilities. Resistance of any kind – whether it be civil or militant – would be suicidal without understanding and without effective leadership.
I would like to say that America learned many lessons from the last election cycle, but until I hear people calling a spade a “spade”, I doubt that a successful counter-coup of any kind can be launched. But there is always hope. As a matter of fact, a glimmer of hope passed me by today when I heard the results of a third party poll conducted by TPATH (www.TPATH.org). The unscientific poll results reported that 2302 participants consisting of Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Unaffiliated, Conservative & Constitution Party voters stated overwhelmingly that neither of the two major parties represent their views and/or ideology.
This coup would not have been possible without the compliance of our two major parties, which have become ideological cabals concerned only with protecting their base of power instead of protecting our Constitutional Republic. And they have also fostered lies upon us that we have swallowed hook, line and sinker. They have convinced us that we must vote for either of the two parties or our votes are counterproductive. This lie has protected their base. I do have wise friends, and one told me that the problem with voting for the lesser of two evils is that you still get evil. And yet, many of us still get out the old clothespin for our nose when we go to the voting booth – as if we had no choice.
In my not so humble opinion, we will not get a better America until we get better Americans in political office. Our Founders, in their wisdom, provided a means for cleaning out our government – it’s called elections. But even the election process has been hijacked and rendered unreliable. So, where are the protesters in the streets, at the White House, at the Capital building? Where are the protesters at the states’ capitals, at the offices of elected officials, at the county courthouses? All home watching TV and driving their kids to soccer games.
Until I see swarms of Americans protesting wherever possible, refusing to accept the mediocrity that sells itself as moderation, and being sure that real Americans that value and understand liberty represent us, I’ll remain a little skeptical. And above all – I’ll continue to pray for the America I loved and will continue to hope that God will have mercy on us – in spite of our complacency.

It just may be the “coup” that some Senators are fearful will happen if they pursue impeachment. Although our Congress has waited far too long to “Step Up,” it is now or never with each executive order and more power granted each day to the usurper in charge. I’ve been watching Rand Paul very closely and I see there are more Senators coming on board once Senator R Paul had the intestinal fortitude to chide this corrupt government. God Be With Rand Paul as well as All Americans.

Roseann, this transformation has been in the making for a long time as progressives have infiltrated our society and government. I watch Glenn Beck and he has been talking about this since Obama came on the scene. It frustrates me when someone who I consider to be very intelligent, namely Bill O’Reilly, finally gets angry (as he did on his show last night) after 4 long years of listening to O’Reilly almost kiss up to this president (or at least make excuses for him in interest of sounding fair and balanced). Waking up after Obama has been elected again is too late for it to matter. Yes, Obama will do his best to transform this country. I believe his intentions are coming from an angry, bitter place inside him. Knowing he sat in Rev. Wright’s church and knowing that he associated with communists and terrorists should tell us what drives him. He is an angry, bitter black man who seeks justice and revenge. The results will not be good because his intentions are not rooted in anything good. I did not see the movie “Django Unchained” but the previews make me think this is Obama and he is after America.
I think the making of BO has gone back a long way. His days with Rev. Wrong only strengthened his point of view. What really amazes me is how many black people identify with him when he does not share their heritage. His roots in America came from his mother, who was white. His father’s ancestors never knew the oppression of slavery in America. Yet – this man capitalizes on all the heartache the slaves endured. I wrote an article to that effect a while back and you can’t imagine the hate mail I got.
Roseann, you nailed it! What is most frustrating for me is our elected “leadership” that is giving in at every turn to Obama and his thugs. I believe he is bribing and buying off everyone who opposes him and his “transformation”, from John Roberts, to Mitch McConnell, to John Boehner. How else do we account for the lousy representation they are giving us? Other than they are big wimps and solidly entrenched in The Establishment, and the quid pro quo system. I expect those in his party to march in lock step, but not those with opposing views who were duly elected to represent US!
Too many in power are wearing kid gloves for this “first black president”. It’s time to take them off, too, and do as you suggest in your brilliant article—”call a spade a spade”!
I do pray for our country every single day, and I know in my heart that Obama getting reelected was part of God’s marvelous plan for us and this great country. I think God has a beautiful surprise in store for us soon!
Sunny, what I didn’t include in the article were any comments about the word “transform” which when you think about it, he was telling us he intented to change America. Change in this case meant changing our system of government by overthrowing it, which in my opinion, is treason.
I agree that God allowed BO to be in the White House. Think about what would be happening right now if Romney won. We’d be in better financial shape but we would also have a false sense of security – ultimately that could prove to be more dangerous.
AMEN, Roseann….We NEED better Americans! We NEED Americans who are not afraid to die for the cause of truth. I think we have them, and it will probably not be too much longer until we see and hear them. It will not be pretty.

We need Americans who will stop drinking the Kool Aid of the major parties. As I’ve written before, they are really dead men walking. Sooner or later I hope people will realize that and also realize that dead men act as dead men – can’t expect anything more from them.
