Can Sean Penn and Morgan Freeman explain this?

This morning I received advanced notice of a Tea Party group’s noon press conference to announce their endorsement of a presidential candidate. The advanced notice did not identify who the group would endorse, but a simple request for said information, made me to know the candidate this racist Tea Party group was holding a press conference to announce support for was Herman Cain.

Maybe you don’t see a contradiction here, but I sure do. Can you imagine the Klu Klux Klan endorsing a black man? What about the Aryan Brotherhood or one of the other supremacist groups – can you see a scenario by which they would endorse an American of color? Can you see a scenario where the American Socialist Party or the Communist Party would support a non communist or socialist? Can you see the rabidly racist New Black Panther Party supporting even a John McCain type of Republican? NAACP national chairman Julian Bond, fired former NAACP president, Kweise Mfume, (I’m forced to say allegedly even though no one believes it was anything other than) due to his growing professional respect and public endorsements of Condoleezza Rice.

But, Tea Party groups, the NAACP says we are racists. Janeane Garofalo, the person generously described as the portion of his anatomy Sean Penn sits on, the stellar intellectuals Samuel L. Jackson and Morgan Freeman, the Urban League, Walter Fauntroy, the ministers Sharpton-Jackson and Louella Farrakhan, and a host of others who taken collectively are equivalent to the reason you wipe your feet after walking through a chickenyard, (oh – did I include Harry Belafonte and Danny Glover, the venerable geniuses of who even Joy Behar turns to for advice and counsel – sarcasm intended) – decry the Tea Party as racist bigots. Yet Tea Party groups across the nation are embracing Herman Cain. Am I the only one who sees a distinct contradiction here?

All of the groups and persons I derisively reference above are viewed as the progressive, forward thinking, understanding – they are the illuminati, the respected sages that media turns to – they are the quoted. They are also the true racists and bigots. They are the dishonest liars and deceivers. They are the xenophobics who refuse to support and/or endorse anyone who is not mirror images of themselves.

Those of us who are Tea Party people are beyond color of skin. Contrary to what the above would like to believe, their invectives that we want Obama out because, quoting Sean Penn, “we don’t want a nigger in the White House” is a scurrilous and morally opprobrious argument, but obviously not out of character for them. Having said that, sans the usage of that vulgar word, if they are using the definition of same as “common, low, dirty person” then they are correct we don’t want a person with those qualities in office. I know that will be difficult a concept for the likes of Garofalo to wrap her mind around, but I’m willing to explain it to them if they care to call.

If Tea Party groups are racist, we’d be behaving as the NAACP and the New Black Panther Party. If we were what they claim – our values would be theirs wrapped in white face. We reject them and their platforms – they host conventions together. What supremacist group would endorse a black person and encourage its chapters to do so?

Of course understanding the depth of the collective genius of those I referenced, maybe they are of the opinion we’re supporting/endorsing a black man too spite party hierarchy’s chosen, i.e., Mitt Romney, just to be contrarian. They’re smarter than we are, who knows. We just know that Herman Cain is our pick and if that upsets the party hierarchy – sobeit. In the meantime let our detractors and accusers explain away the obvious contradiction to their accusations.

I’m no Bible thumper, but frequently I need to remind myself that the one who sits on the Eternal Throne might still have a vote on who sits in the Oval Office. I rally believe Mr. Cain is the “real deal” and it causes me pause to think we could actually, get a Leader who “gets it”. Could he be the Anti Christ?? I can only hope it turns out this way for the Libs and all they stand for.
There are no doubts in my mind we may very well see the foretold Anti Christ, so lets hope Cain ain’t HIM, and he can pull our country out of the grip of the father of all lies. (and NO, Penn isn’t that guy either. He’s just a little overcompensated in his own mind.) But, I could be wrong!

The extremist left-wingers, especially the white “progressives” (lol) who voted for Obama b/c they wanted to appear so super color blind by voting for him SOLELY b/c of the color of his skin, are beside themselves! This time around, can’t play the race card to intimidate and insult Americans who don’t support Obama. They are so frustrated, in fact, that THEIR true colors, (pun totally intended), are coming out and exposing them for the hateful racists they are. I’d love nothing more than to see Obama try to debate Herman Cain… Oooohhh!! It would be so delicious to see that smug jerk try to out finesse Herman (who is a Rocket Scientist!). A girl can dream, can’t she? ;-)

snoopsister: progressive liberals are hateful bigots…I’m shocked, shocked I tell you…I’d like to see him debate Sarah Palin…but getting his behind kicked by a woman would be business as usual…since bag he is married to doesn’t everyday…

Hahaha! Watching him debate SP would be a sight to see as well! “Bag”…. LOL… so true, so true!!

They will explain it like Ulli Ryder explains it in the New York Daily News: by implying that somehow, Cain himself is a racist. Liberals have an answer (or lie) for everything, especially the elected ones, and have no shame in saying the most outrageous thing with a straight face. Their hypocrisy is mind-boggling and so transparent I cannot help but think the constituency who elected them are just as daft as they are. Which explains a lot about the shape this country is in.

Ive seen a lot of politicians come and go in my 65 years and don’t recall any as down to earth, honest and as logical as Herman Cain in his answers to all questions brought before him. A big plus too is that he does not back down no matter how hard they try to twist his words. I know he dose not have the money most of the other candidates do and that should not matter, a big part of the problem now is that more times than not candidates just buy the office they wish to fill. There should be a limit to how much a candidate can spend for a campaign and eliminate every company , corporation or what ever from contributing– only individual American citizens should be allowed and a limit to that too. While I’m at it could we limit the time allowed to campaign too. I know Ive gotten way off subject here but what the heck does a persons color have to do with their qualification or character. It seems the only ones that keep bringing that up are the democrats.

    • Mychal October 22, 2011 at 10:59 pm #

viet vet: you tell me what color has to w/ qualifications…I argue of course it has nothing to do w/ qualifications…Herman Cain has all of the qualifications needed to be president…conversely if stupidity, ego, ability to read from teleprompter, being a liar, and narcissism were qualifications obama would be the would be better than Jefferson, Madison, and Reagan rolled into one…so as it is…w/ his abilities we would be better off carter…thk you for your service to our great nation…

  6. memett October 21, 2011 at 11:38 am #

Romney would be a huge improvement over Obama, but he needs to be tempered with a great Veep choice as well as a very conservative House and Senate. I’m a Mormon myself, and I resent the attacks on Romney because he’s a Mormon. It’s the same thing as the attacks against JFK. Where’s all the outrage over Obama’s phantom religion at best, pro-Muslim leanings at worst? Romney isn’t my first choice, but he is taking a lot of undeserved flack.

    • Mychal October 21, 2011 at 3:29 pm #

memett: his religion is no the issue for me…i’m believe in Methodism and am as fierce in defense of same as you are of yours…my concern is romney is rino barry…he has flipped or flopped on the issues as a conservative are unacceptable…no more obama and no obama little…

  7. linuxbynight October 21, 2011 at 8:56 am #

It is all about what the candidate stands for and not skin color. Herman Cain sets an example that the NAACP and other black leaders should promote and instead, they bash him. I guess that hard work and success is not what the left is about.

    • Mychal October 21, 2011 at 3:31 pm #

linuxbynight: Herman sets example all Americans should aspire to…it’s not color coded and neither is success…

I’d like to unmask my stupidity and ax a stupid question. Is there any rhyme or reason to the times shown on the various comments? I can’t tell which comment to respond to or is the game just to jump in and reply to anything? To paraphrase Scotty in the new Star Trek, “I like this site. It’s exciting.” For the most part it seems that the folks here seem to be able to disagree right or left without name calling or references to a person’s intelligence. Also, my spell check is not working, so I trust you’ll forgive errors. I have no excuse for my grammar.

Mychal, I love everything I’m hearing… you’re a great spokesman. I heard the Talking Heads on Fox and I think they’re beginning to see Herman’s chances going viral. I hope he can move it to the next level, where he’s after BHO rather than other Republicans. They target him for what he doesn’t know, but I’ve been the boss too, and I know the top guy doesn’t need to know everything- he needs to know where to get the information and how to use it. If you try to know it all, you end up like the guy in there now… sorry excuse for a decision maker and the worst leader in the our history. And matters of State? At least Herman knows how many states there are. And he doesn’t have any Romney- like back-rooms from Main Street to Washington with RINOs hunting legislation. No legislative experience? Vet BHO and compare. Herman has LEADERSHIP on his side. Keep it up! lw

      lw: agreed…

    • Sumitch October 20, 2011 at 11:50 pm #

Reminds me of the story about Henry Ford #1. He wasn’t highly educated and lacked much of what society deems important. He was sued over control of the company and his intelligence and education were proof that he was not qualified to head Ford up. He was asked a question that I forget. Let’s say just for example he was asked if he knew how a muffler works. His response was “No sir. But if you give me a phone and 5 minutes I’ll find someone who does.” Bill Shakespere quoted Caesar as saying the equivalent of “Surround me with lean and hungry men.” Leadership is knowing how to get things done, not doing them personally.

      • Sumitch October 21, 2011 at 12:05 am #

My point being that Mr. Cain and his history point out that it appears he knows how to get things done. He may not even know how to make a pizza or like them.

      • Mychal October 21, 2011 at 1:39 am #

sumitch: how true…the notion that the candidate has to know everything about foreign policy is a media ploy intended to qualify or disqualify…w/ barry it wasn’t that he didn’t have foreign policy experience…its that the only he had ever been was a dope user and a community rabble-rouser…not exactly qualifications for the office he holds as we are witnessing…

        • tthan43 October 21, 2011 at 2:03 pm #

As far as “leaving it up to others to figure things out” we can see what this leaving it up to others did for Obama. That is when his board of advisors/czars stepped up and “figured out how to get things done”. It is not so a matter of leaving it up to other to figure things out but WHO.

This is interesting. You know, it might turn out that a black man can make a pretty good President after all. After all of the past 2 1/2 years I mean. But wait, I keep forgetting that Obama wasn’t even a genuine person of color. I support Herman Cain, and not because of his skin color. I support him because of what he stands for and for having credentials that are more impressive than anyone that I have seen in the Presidential races up to now.

ted harris: let’s forget color and Herman the job…

  11. Dave October 20, 2011 at 3:37 pm #

What makes Mr. Cain such an appealing guy is that he is not a politician and therefore will speak his mind, as opposed to holding a wet finger up to test the political winds. He certainly is a breath of fresh air.

One may or may not like what he has to say, but one can sense that he speaks the truth as he perceives it. “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Let us hope that Mr. Cain can free us from the shackles and duplicitousness of Obama and his anarchist cronies.

Another thought: he is dangerous to everything that Obama and the Communist Party stand for. He had better have someone(s) watching his back. Obama, Trumpka, and all of their anarchist friends are capable of violence and bloodshed. Please beware, Herman.

    • Mychal October 20, 2011 at 3:42 pm #

dave: you make same points I have…you don’t have to wonder if Herman means what he says…there is also an economy of words…he doesn’t pontificate and employ political speak…he is also direct he goes into the lion’s den boldly as the adage goes…

      • Mischa October 20, 2011 at 5:50 pm #

Dave you made various good points, but I stil am swinging back and forth between Ron Paul and Herman Cain. I too am concewrned for Mr. Cain’s safety, due to the fact that he is openly unanamored with Mr, O., I can’t say predient, Cain has a vitality and has street wiseness as well as sophistication. Will support Israel, who is vital to the US and dont ever question it, Israel is like our Canary, but also a vast supply of Technoligy, Medicine, agricultural knowledge, super know-how in water conservation, green energy etc. They had to come up with solutions in order to survive.
Mychal, I have one concern as I will mention several offices or agendas, but they are all related: UN, Bilderberg Group, Soros, NWO: How does Cain rate on these????? I dont know and can not find anything concrete on it. Would love to hear your comment.

        • Mychal October 20, 2011 at 6:14 pm #

mishca: you ask the wrong person about that…and I can assure you people don’t like my answer…I view those you reference as the need of people to have a boogeyman…there was a time the masons were boogeymen…I do not affix the importance to them that others do…soros has and does fund anarchist groups…do I think there are those who look to make gain in untoward and surreptitious…of course I do…but I’m not running from shadows…and I’m not jumping on the bandwagon of those who claim to know exactly how all of these characters work…and I’m not about to be convinced based on what I personally know to be the case today…

I want to vote FOR someone this cycle. While I don’t like all Cain’s points, contrary I am, I could vote FOR him. With most of the other Republican possibles I’d be voting AGAINST obummer.

    • Mychal October 20, 2011 at 3:48 pm #

david: Herman is solid pick…I will not hold my nose and vote…obama little is the same as obama lot…they’re both bad…romney, perry etc will never get my vote…

Answer me this – On Wednesday November 5 2008 one my favorite instructors that I hired as Chairman of the Fine Arts and Music Division to teach Piano because of his uncanny ability to not only play any type of music especially jazz called me to celebrate the election of Obscumbo – Of course though I was in shock from the election results and his voice dropped off as I didnt share iin his joy – You mean yo udont see this as a momentous occasion where a black man is elected into the White House Gene I said But he is a Marxist- a socialist at best!” And i was put on Administrative leave for this
Look what this guy has done to our country — where is Gene saying Carlos – I apologize I was wrong or is “gene” still think he is right?

    • Mychal October 20, 2011 at 4:04 pm #

Los: I cannot spk for the person you reference I wouldn’t have cared if it were Justice Thomas who was elected…its not the color of skin…it’s the man and as we clearly see…bho nor his wife have an ounce of breeding…I should also say if not for murder of unborn children of over 25% of black population group…we could have had several presidents of color…finally he is a kenyan communist…are you able to share where you were employed when placed on administrative leave…

All I’m hearing from some of those who don’t believe ANYTHING in our gov’t and our elections is legitimate is: Romney is controlled by the Banks and the Banks control our economy and country. It seems the major part of his contributions come from them. It makes my blood boil. What chance does Herman Cain stand against someone so powerful. I would love to see President Cain in our future….but is our future already predestined by a “Shadow gov’t”?

    • Mychal October 20, 2011 at 11:49 am #

rvd: c;mon my man gut-up..we could elect a peanut butter bar if we all voted for it…it’s not the money…it’s the effort of the voters…we work tirelessly and Herman wins…wwe can’t sit by and expect the party to elect Herman or that he can do it on his own…we are in control of the outcome…we just need to wake up and realize same…

Mychal, I have always had this gut feeling that Obama was “appointed” and the election was a sham. And, if, God forbid, he makes it in again, I will be sure! BTW….I know using only my initials you can assume I am a Man, but I am a female….LOL

  18. Dennis October 20, 2011 at 10:35 am #

The one thing I’m afraid of more than anything is a three way race.
Ross Perot more than ony one person got Bill Clinton elected TWICE. Would he have made a good president? From a business and moral stand point, I’d say yes. Better than GHW Bush or Doyle, we’ll never know.
It’s just this. If the Republicans & The Tea Party run separate candidates and split 60% of the vote, Obama wins with his 40%, and finishes destroying the country.
I’ve been listening to Mr. Cain for a long time and I think he would make a great President. But Obama has made it really difficlut for some to ever accept another black candidate regardless of his qualifications. Am I wrong? I’m just tired of having to hold my nose when I vote.

    • Lotow October 20, 2011 at 11:21 am #

Dennis, I think you are wrong. You asked the question and here is my humble answer (only my opinion). First, please get the three way race idea out of your head. It is viable but, if you hold on to it, the scenario you describe could indeed become a reality. You, however, have the ability to make it a two-way race. If you like Herman Cain, tell everyone you can, vote for him in your primary, contribute any amount you can to his campaign! I own a business where I talk to people everyday. The only name I hear is Herman Cain! I live in a very conservative area where most people are informed and engaged in the political arena. Not one person has referenced the name of Romney. If you like Mr. Cain, research his background, his 9-9-9 plan, etc. and educate those you talk with about why you like him. Romney dropped out last time and he will drop out again if he feels he can’t win. Do your part to be heard. But, please don’t settle. I don’t want to hold my nose again, either. When compared to Obama’s experience coming into his current position – no one coming in could have less and no one could accomplish less. So, choose your candidate and become and advocate. Speak up, be heard and make sure the one you want is on that ballot in November 2012! Don’t look back – our FUTURE is at stake!!!

      • Mychal October 20, 2011 at 11:35 am #

        lotow: well said…

      • Michael Whitley October 20, 2011 at 11:38 am #

As chairman of my county’s Republican Party, I believe that we can make a difference and that a 3rd party candidate, which has been suggested as splinter group from the Republican Party, will not happen if we make our voices heard. I, for one, did not vote for Obama, nor will I ever vote for him…….not because he’s black but because of his moral, ethical, values he and his cronies are forcing down our throats. This is called “SOCIALISM” tactics.

We have to be aware of this and not stick our heads in the dirt. Become educated, look at the dishonesty the Democtrats and some Republican have put out to ‘rule’ the people. Look at what’s going on in IN. The Democratic Head had to step down due to voter violations. The law has uncovered the possibility of Obama not being elected. It states that he nor Clinton paid to be on the ballot in the state! Is this new……NO. Where is the justice?

        • Mychal October 20, 2011 at 11:45 am #

michael whitley: I agree…I believe no matter how well intentioned a democrat will always be a democrat…ask Jill Stanek or Phyllis Schlafly…to that point neither can we continue to support a candidate because he/she claims to be republican…we the people must exercise our power to elect the person that represents us…not who represents the will of the party…

      • Kelso October 20, 2011 at 1:25 pm #

First, if race is really that important, then Herman is twice as black as Obama. But its not and Republicans/Conservatives understand this. That is why democrats obsess over grouping us so they can divide us.

Regarding his 9-9-9 plan, I personally like the idea, but even if I didn’t *THAT* does not dissuade me from supporting him because we are not electing a dictator. It will take both houses of Congress to pass it before he can sign it into law. I personally don’t think it will pass. But I still want to see President Cain there for everything else that comes to his desk and every appointment that he makes.

        No third party for me.

        • Mychal October 20, 2011 at 1:47 pm #

kelso: should I introduce you as my twin brother (albeit w/ the poor judgement to root for texas rangers) now or later…lol…great comment…

      • Dennis October 20, 2011 at 1:51 pm #

I like Mr Cain more than any other candidate and would vote for him today. I support the Tea Party. I want someone in the Oval office that is there to lead us out of the mess and stand up to the ones that got us here. No backing down and no compromise. There has to be a system that has everyone paying taxes. If it’s a national sale tax and lower income taxes(I’m a payer)I’m for it. While I know we need world trade we have to restart our petroleum industry and stop supporting the Middle East & Venezuela(who wouldn’t even have a Petro industry if it wasn’t for the US).
As far as the 3 way race, I see the eletist in the Repulican Party that really do not represent us causing the Tea Party to break away and run their own race. I’m just “remebering History” and not wanting to repete it. Being a Texan is the reason I’ve held my nose to vote for Perry who I don’t really care for but he isn’t a Democrat. Romney is just another member of the lucky sperm club.

        • Mychal October 20, 2011 at 2:19 pm #

dennis: your thoughts work for me…I’m not worried about third party…I don’t see that happening…

    • Mychal October 20, 2011 at 11:33 am #

dennis: that’s not a scenario i see…primarily because the Tea Party is a coalition of concerned persons who want a return to a constitutional government…

    • RVD October 20, 2011 at 1:18 pm #

What I’m afraid of is that Trump may jump in, run as an Independent and really mess it up for us…..that would definitely put Obama back in office to finish the job of destroying our once great country!

rvd: I don’t see that happening…first primary is in weeks…trump doesn’t want in anyway…he just wanted his people to support his concerns…he threw bricks and waited for candidates to figure out people liked what he said…then come visit him…and he gets to pretend he’s a king maker or some wise old sage…I like idea of him throwing bricks…but he would be disaster as candidate…he’s just inflating his already colossal ego…

Actually, that makes a lot of sense, Mychal. He has given the candidates a lot of food for thought, hasn’t he?

When the Penns, Garafalos, Glovers, and Belafontes et al have desired attention over the years they could always reach up their sleeve and play the race card. It was a can’t miss hit, guaranteed to put them in the spotlight while putting them behind an impenetrable shield to keep their shallow minds from being plumbed. What are they going to do now? ?
About all that’s left is to perhaps hire Bryant Gumbel as their spokesman………………………………

    • Mychal October 20, 2011 at 11:37 am #

danbubalo: agreed…they are all train wrecks…

Liberals are consumed with the subject of race. They are phoneys, hypocrits, liars, cheats, cowards and traitors. Did I cover it all? Who cares what those fools think. Look at that picture of penn, that squirrel can’t even grow a dam decent mustache, he’s inconsequential.

    • Mychal October 20, 2011 at 11:40 am #

carpenter: the tragedy is that because they can play make believe they are given a mantle of valued opinion…when thinking of them think lindsay lohan…how many of them can be pointed to as representative of main street normality…

If we’re even allowed to vote. Yes, I say that sarcastically but with all the hype lately for Obama for dictatorship, no budget approvals with an election coming up, and celebrities stating that “he’s been governing under a state of emergency since the time he went into office. So we haven’t seen him do what he can do.” I do wonder what the next Executive Order from the President’s desk will say.

    • Mychal October 19, 2011 at 11:58 pm #

Christina s: his next executive order will be an attempt to pardon himself if the repubs do the right thing and show his involvement in fast and furious and in the stimulus pay outs..he cannot explain solyndra…now there are several more that are coming to light including a truck stop in tennessee…albeit I am inclined to believe the truck stop was intended to be a blind i.e. a rabbit hole to lead investigators away from all the others that are yet to come to light…

There is too much focus on race and religion in politics these days.
I don’t care about a candidates religion. The color can be white, pink,or yellow with purple polka dots. When I vote, it’s for the candidates and what they stand for.

    • Mychal October 20, 2011 at 12:07 am #

ginny: I agree w/ you in part…first I would care no more about the color of the prez if it were Justice Thomas or if it was the man in the moon…as long as they were eminently qualified…that said I realize there may be issues w/ the man in the moon based on his country of origin…but I’m sure he could get a birth certificate from hawaii and a ss# from connecticut…but I digress…a candidates faith is important to me as long as it doesn’t involve bleeding chickens, wearing burkas, and doesn’t list council on american islamic relations i.e. CAIR…as a reference…

    Mychal,
You said; “Yet Tea Party groups across the nation are embracing Herman Cain. Am I the only one who sees a distinct contradiction here?”
I think even knot headed liberals see it and are scared to death.
What they don’t know is our total numbers…
I think we were a sleeping giant. We are now awake… watch out…

    • Mychal October 19, 2011 at 3:01 pm #

arizonaguy: OORAH…let’s keep them in the dark until they realize they’re in our pots…

    • Lotow October 20, 2011 at 11:35 am #

Arizonaguy, you are SO right. They have NO idea that we are legion. They are concentrating too hard on the Tea Party not being a “Party” to realize just what we are. When libs can’t define something, they put it in a box. In their “enlightened” thinking, it capsulizes and diminishes it. I believe the reality is going to blow their minds come 2012. They are trying to get us to believe now that the independent vote will cause a 3-way race that will insure Obama’s relection. There they go again with the box thing. They always miss the big picture – as independents, we are not sheep. We got stuck with McCain last time around due to this very same scenario – I am going to do all I can to keep that from happening again. Cain is able – Romney is, well, more of the same! Yawn……………..zzzzzzzzzzzz……zzzzzzzzzzz……..

      • Mychal October 21, 2011 at 1:44 am #

lotow: I agree…but it won’t be easy…this is not going to be a cake walk…there are forces that will literally die to keep barry in office…we must be literally willing to do same to get him out and keep romney out…
