There are a lot of things that I never thought I would see in my lifetime. I never thought I would see women boasting and celebrating their experience of being impaled by a vacuum hose – and then have their baby and womb sucked into a canister, to be dumped into a medical waste dumpster. I never thought I would see so-called men proudly french-kissing and groping one another in public. I never in my right mind thought America would have a Communist leading our nation. I never thought that the first person of color elected to occupy the White House, would be as loathsome and base as this person has turned out to be – who is surpassed only by his wife and Nancy Pelosi for commonality. And it is for darn sure that I never thought there would come a day in America, when the face of an avowed socialist would replace the stars that represent the 50 states on our National Flag, with the face of Barack Obama.
That’s right, Obama’s face replaced the stars on an American flag flying over the Lake County Democrat headquarters in Tavares, Florida. A subscriber to my daily alerts brought it to my attention, I have included the full article below. But back to the point at hand – no president in history of the world, save those who coin money with their images on it, have had their faces displayed on their national flag of their country.
Nancy Hurlbert, chairman of Lake County Democrat Party, claims the flag was a gift. She said: “We are proud of our president, we’re proud of the United States, and we felt it was time to display that.” Fortunately, several veterans did not see it that way. They protested the abomination that the Democrat Party was flying directly under our National Flag. While the Obama national flag was removed without incident, Hurlbert did threaten the veterans with arrest if they stepped on the property.
Not only was the flag in violation of the federal flag code, Obama’s face on the our national flag is an affront to the men and women who sacrificed their bodies and those who gave their lives for our flag to fly proudly over our nation. It was the blatant single-finger salute to those who gave their lives for our freedoms – the very same freedoms that Obama has said he wants to strip us of.
For those of us who were born here or who are here legally, and value what it means to have freedoms guaranteed us by the Constitution – this is the latest assault on our nation by socialists. That they were brazen enough to publicly display and proclaim their allegiance to their envisioned “national republic of Obama,” is emblematic of his narcissistic socialism destroying our nation. He pledged to his followers that he would “fundamentally change” America and his arrogant, haughty wife is proud of the country now that she can comport herself as a queen at taxpayer’s expense. We reluctantly stomach their presence, as we work to remove them and their kind from from public office – but, we will not stomach them desecrating our flag and defecating on the memory of those who paid the price for people like Obama, to not be treated as they treat would be dictators in Communist countries.
Please read the following article, and when you are finished, if you share my outrage take a moment to write, call, fax, email, the Lake County Democrat headquarters and the White House. Please do not threaten or use vulgarity, but let both Obama and this Democrat headquarters know that this is America. We are one nation under God, not under Obama and we will not forget their desecrating our flag, by putting his face on it, come November. President Obama’s face in place of stars on an American flag flying at Lake County Democratic Headquarters in Tavares irked a group of veterans on Tuesday, who found themselves engaged in a verbal confrontation and the threat of police action when they requested the flag be taken down.
The matter was resolved peacefully when Democratic party officials removed the flag.
The Obama flag had been flowing for two months underneath an American flag before it was noticed by the veterans, who argued that it was a desecration of the flag and in violation of three codes passed by Congress about displaying the American flag.
“We were given this as a gift,” said Nancy Hurlbert, chairwoman of the Lake County Democratic Party. “We are proud of our president, we’re proud of the United States, and we felt it was time to display that.”
Leesburg veteran Jim Bradford recalled he did a double take when he saw the Obama flag with red and white stripes for the first time over the weekend.
“When I saw the picture on the flag, I thought this is wrong,” he said. “I really hate seeing the flag not being respected, and to me this was not respectful.”
Bradford took pictures of the flag and sent them, via email, to friends and veterans groups.
“The general reply has been this is not right,” he said, adding politics has nothing to do with the issue.
“I really don’t care what party it is. If it had been a picture of Romney on the flag, I would have done the same thing,” Bradford said.
Korean War veteran Don Van Beck of Tavares spearheaded the veterans‘ visit to the Lake County Democratic Headquarters, where he was joined by a dozen veterans and media on the front steps of the Main Street building.
“There are laws against desecrating the flag,” Van Beck said, right before he read out loud the federal flag code, public law 344, section 4G to Hurlbert: “The flag should never have placed upon it or any part of it, any marks, insignia, letters, words, figures, designs, picture or drawings of any nature. We would like to ask you to take it down please.”
Hurlbert told Van Beck that she wanted to look up the code first.
“Well, we’re here. I’ll take it down for you,” the veteran said.
“No, this is private property. You’re not allowed to touch anything. I’ll call the police,” Hurlbert said.
“I wish you would,” Van Beck said. “Would you call the police?”
“No, no, no. This is private property and I’ve given you the benefit of the doubt. I said I would d
time and we’ll check it out.”
“You’re in violation of the code,” Van Beck said.
“And I’m saying we’ll check it out,” she said. “Thank you very much.”
Van Beck gave Hurlbert a POW-MIA flag to be installed in place of the Obama flag and offered for the veterans to put it up. Once again Hurlbert reminded Van Beck that he and the other veterans were on private property and if they touched the flag, she would call police.
“It would be nice if you showed respect for our flag,” said veteran John Masterjohn, who voice disapproval for Obama.
“God bless America and our president,” Hurlbert said. “You guys have a wonderful day. Thank you very much.”
The veterans debated their next move before Hurlbert and another volunteer resurfaced to the front yard and began taking down the Obama flag.
“We didn’t know it was in violation and so now we are taking it down,” Hurlbert said. “If somebody had just called ahead of time, we could have avoided all of this.”
Van Beck said he did try to phone to Democratic Headquarters on Monday and also Tuesday morning, but did not make contact with anyone.
Yet, he was pleased with the outcome.
“I’m very happy,” Van Beck said. “I’m sorry it had to come to this … You don’t desecrate the flag, especially for the veterans who fought the wars and died for it. In dictatorships, they have a picture of their dictator on some of the flags, but we haven’t arrived at having a dictator, yet.”
And he never wants to see that happen.
Passerby Ralph Smith applauded the removal of the Obama flag, which he felt was in “bad taste.”
“I’m sure Nancy understands that now,” he said.

I have not been on line for a few days, so I am way behind on this news.Please allow me to make a statement in regards to this rant….Not everyone who resides in Florida are ignorant or uneducated in regards to how our flag should be treated and displayed. Many of us are not only active members of the armed forces, but are family members of such worthy veterans. My father, grandfather, great-grandfathers and even my were proud to serve this great nation. I am shocked that anyone whom is connected to any form of “political” office can stand upon the public steps and state that they need to “check-out” something that has been taught in our schools for over two centuries…It is a sad day for this beautiful country.

Mychal: Thank you for covering this flag issue on your daily rant. I spent most of today emailing everyone in my address book and my national network, SPPOIL (Seniors for Preservation of Individual Liberties) to alert them about the flag issue and also emailed my representatives. It is obvious narcissistic Obama yearns to be a dictator with his wife co-ruling beside him as they empty the national coffers for self grandizement. But to be so bold as to allow his image on our flag was the absolute last straw. Even Hitler did not place his image on the Nazi flag although his picture hung everywhere else and every assembly began with the words “Heil Hitler”. What are we to expect next from Obama? His portrait hanging in every school room and public building? And every assembly to begin with the words “Hail Obama”? Kudos to the brave vets who demanded the flag be taken down.

I have been watching “Dr. Zhivago” over and over in the last few days. This 1965 movie with Omar Sharif is an epic, beautiful in it’s majestic scenery, and depressing in its content.
The movie is about the time leading up to the Russian Revolution in 1917. It portrays the Czar’s form of government, and the sad plight of the peasants. In the movie, Dr. Zhivago is forced out of Moscow to relocate in the Ural mountains with his family. The movie is filled with a personal account of his hardship in dealing with the new Communist government in Russia. He battles the harsh Russian weather almost constantly as he travels. The overriding theme throughout the movie is that, no matter how far Zhivago travels from Moscow, he is always confronted eventually by the Communist party. Even though he is not a spy, he is constantly being uprooted by the Party, just for being a Russian citizen.
Over 20 million people were murdered as part of the Russian Revolution. Suspicion and paranoia seemed to surround everything they did. They always talked about “giving up your private life” for the party line, in the movie. It is, at the very least, scary.

Prior to the 2000 election, the Republican color was blue-as the elephant logo was in blue. The Democrat Party was represented by the color red,hence the donkey logo in red. When Ronald Reagan took a majority sweep in the 1984 elections, the electoral college map of the US was almost entirely blue. The change occurred during 2000 when the (late) Tim Russert did the flip-flop of the colors. Red has traditionally been associated w/ left-wing/socialist parties. The fact that Obama’s face on a flag w/ Red & White stripes is not surprising considering the symbolism of colors in political parties (Blue representing right-wing/conservative parties). The liberal Democrats in the media are trying to erase people’s memories & further dumb down the populace. This was brought to my attention on 12/07/2008 by Joseph Farah of WND in an article called “How to turn Red States Blue”. It prompted a memory of Reagan’s electon in 1984 w/ the nation almost completely blue for freedom-loving americans. Not only is it time to take cour country back, but even the symbolism of colors has been hijacked by the Communists in media & government.

The most pertinent, and frightening, part of this whole incident is what Malk touched on – flying B. Hussein Obama’s face on the flag is just a step or two from “worshipping The Beast”. It is becomming more and more clear that many people will actually worship an evil leader one day, just as we are told they will in the Bible.
I also would like to know who “gave” them the flag and where they had it made. It’s probably not the only one out there.
A company called Ultimate Flags make them. Their email is ultimateflags@gmail.com. I told them that just because something is legal don’t make it right. I went to Vietnam and fought under that flag. I don’t want anyones picture on it. It’s our countrys flag,not Obamas.
It is really sad when an American or an American company lacks any sort of attachment or feeling for our flag but they are here and they will pop up from time to time. I’ve read that our first lady said she didn’t understand the big deal about our US flag. She said it’s just a flag.

This Nancy Hurlbert a sterling example for this Florida Democratic Headquarters they can be proud of, isn’t she (and chairwoman at that)? This one gives me a case of tight jaws. She is an idiot at two levels (maybe three).
First, is there no one in her organization familiar with the regulations for the displaying and treatment of the flag of the United States? No scouts? No vets? I’d be very surprised if there are not. I’m saying they knew exactly what they were doing and following the example of their head man, I.E. showing disrespect for our flag and therefore our country and then lying about it when caught and made public. I’m surprised she didn’t say that Bush was at fault for sending it to them. If there is not anyone familiar with the proper treatment of our flag in her organization, they are a gathering of idiots.
I’d be happy to buy and send them free of charge a copy of the Boy Scouts handbook (maybe Cub Scouts. The Boy Scouts may be too advanced for them to understand) or the Army field manual so they can study it and become knowledgeable. If they can read that is. I’d also be honored to destroy this ruined flag properly as I am sure they don’t know how that should be done.

In reply to Sumich, first of all, “ignorance of the law is no excuse”, I’ve been told this all my life, even while asking how we can fail to be ignorant of the law, when it is too long for legislators to read before they pass it.
No, there are no Boy Scouts, no Marines, because such people do know how to treat not only the flag, but the law, the Constitution, the unique standing of this Nation, apart from every other Nation, and honorable people cannot stand with the party of the infiltrators of communism.
I once would have accepted there could be legitimate opposition and differing opinions on principle, but the debates no longer concern issues of little consequence, but are now all issues of principle, and those who compromise on principle have no such thing as “convictions”, as the evidence of such is the abject refusal to budge and the will to stand on convictions to the death.
Those people are not “loyal opposition”, but have become true to their cause Bolsheviks, now that they have had their day with a full communist as their leader, and having inserted him criminally, into a government he never qualified to be part of, in part because he lacks the credentials for his current office, and in part because he qualified as a “domestic enemy” even while he was running for the office of Senator in the Illinois legislature.
Having run as a member of The Communist Party USA, after it changed its name to “The New Party”, but with its creed unchanged, and its full intent for the total destruction of representative government on its website.
It doesn’t take a wizard at government to recognize the wisdom and the beauty of our established form, and history alone tells the story of its unparalleled success as a Nation. Those who have worked so hard to remove the Constitution, and to make it insignificant, while they attempt, they have no good intent for any person’s rights, no respect for this nation at all.
There is no good in that party, not anymore, and what good there once was, could only be called “good intent”, whose only measure of “good” is to be found in its actual and real effect. I think the veterans should have offered to wrap the woman in her flag, and as an added bonus, offer to burn it for her.

I don’t see a proper place to post my current thought. Here is as good as any. Some of the “Vast right wing conspiracy” should start a campaign to refuse him the honor of burial at Arlington and refuse to have his coffin draped with our flag (unless it’s the one with his arrogant face on it). I’m beginning to understand how Mussolini died better.
