Dude! Where’s my hoodie?

William F. Buckley Jr. once reflected that universal health care was a happy thought, then went on to clarify, “Idealism is fine, but as it approaches reality the costs become prohibitive.” Unfortunately, such intellectual reasoning is an automatic disqualifier to serve effectively in Washington today and has been replaced by pandering when obfuscation is not yielding the floor to noxious grandstanding or another mawkish vignette.

When a benign scandal emerged in the NFL, Democrat Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois immediately seized the opportunity to divert attention away from his flagrantly irresponsible social and fiscal policies to announce an investigation of all professional sports. Later, with all the finesse of a soccer riot, House members were trampling one another for face time at the expense Trayvon Martin’s misfortunes as if maudlin exhibitions might somehow act as a substitute for the dearth of responsible statesmanship. Not to be outdone, of course, were Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson, both of whom I have maintained for years live in private jets that circle the United States so that they might instantly interjaculate themselves into another potential race scandal which will line their pockets with shakedown money at the expense of those they claim to champion. It remains a mystery on par with the pyramids of Egypt how and why these two hucksters continue to receive so much adulation for their race-baiting oratorical vomit, yet none can dispute that they have successfully duped their followers into believing that speaking loudly somehow translates into sagacity.

Mr. Obama differs little than the rest when it comes to looking deep into the manual for another misdirection play to deflect attention from his effrontery or ineptness, and one can’t help but wonder if his Harvard law degree was manufactured in much the way his birth certificate was, for no schooled lawyer from the Ivy League, or anywhere else for that matter, would interject themselves into an ongoing criminal investigation unless they were desperate for attention or looking to stoke racial fires. Aside from the premature legal and ethical perspectives, Mr. Obama’s cloying comment about the deceased Martin youth looking like he could be his own son was arguably the cheapest and most tawdry stunt ever pulled by an acting president, and that includes eight years of Clinton juvenility.

The 414-0 House vote rejecting Mr. Obama’s budget was a scalding rebuke with partial attribution to common sense and Democrat self-preservation as the election clock ticks toward November, as well as, perhaps, a result of witnessing at least one of the three government branches accepting the responsibility of its charter as the Supreme Court entertained oral arguments relating to the Patient Execution and Unaffordable Care Act, often referred to as Obamacare.

Eight out of the nine justices have embraced the responsibility of their appointment, have asked pertinent and penetrating questions and have entertained arguments from both sides with an integrity befitting the highest court in our land. The same cannot be said of Elena Kagen, who helped write the bill, drove the bribery shuttle between the White House and Capitol Hill, and cadged a Supreme Court appointment for her complicity. The ironclad quid pro quo she agreed to as Mr. Obama’s shill is evidenced by her inappropriate and ethically bankrupt decision not to recuse herself from the legal process. She is, as H.L. Mencken once proverbially described a judge, the law student who gets to grade her own paper. It is of no use to try and anticipate the final outcome for many oral arguments made in front of the High Court come with the requisite dekes and head feints from judges who relish the verbal repartee. What can be anticipated with utmost assurance, however, is if the Supreme Court does not strike down the law on constitutional grounds, our country will descend into the economic and social vortex of Communism and do so as if we’re pulling more G’s than an inverted fighter pilot. Those are givens.

Also given, is that the government overreach will have been endorsed by the highest court in the land, and that endorsement will grow tentacles to such a degree and with so much speed and intensity that it will spread into every aspect of our lives in a manner resembling a cracked windshield that suddenly spider-webs. What we eat, how we live, how much energy households and individuals consume will be determined by a government bureaucrat, a person you may be assured will resemble Barney Fife with an AK47, consumed with omnipotency and possessing the discretion of a gerbil, and that is not an exaggeration.

We now have our own version of Mexico’s Zeta’s, otherwise known as the New Black Panthers, and they are soliciting funds, across state lines, for the express purpose of killing someone and depriving that individual of a constitutional right to a fair trial, and violate more than a handful of federal laws with the complete and full endorsement of the Marcel Marceau, the current Attorney General. It is clear that the current regime, for it is not an administration, was hiding behind the door the day they were handing out common sense at school. They have exempted themselves from the deficient health care coverage they sought to cram down the throats of unsuspecting citizens, so unquestionably were in attendance the day’s lesson was “do as I say and not as I do.”

Unfortunately, they were also in attendance the day they were told not to run with scissors.

    Giving the title of “Reverend” to these two bad actors makes as much sense as giving the title of Colonel to Sanders. They are no more men of God than Colonel Sanders was a military big wig. At least Colonel Sanders gives us tasty, if unhealthy, chunks of chicken. All these racists give us is bowls of racial hatred. People that listen to and follow them are as blind as the people that voted for Allahbama. Now if we want to discuss the title “President”…….

    Great article, Dan! Couldn’t agree more w/ everything you said. Obama learned his lessons well from his mentors, Alinsky & Ayers. When all else fails, divide & distract! Keeps the public’s focus off his failing policies to drag America down, so the rest of the world can catch up (or in some cases, look better) than us. Guess why Israel has such top-notch national security? They profile! To think that Obama has now added hoodies 4 sale is unconscionable. Now we have a Gangsta-in-Chief looking to start a new civil war. This country was founded on the principles that all citizens have the ability to achieve on their own merits. We are truly being destroyed by the enemy within.

    I am now all the more skeptical about what happened that day with trayvon and george. if all disputes were this misaligned and basterdized, no one would ever get a fair trial, and no one would get out of jail, or even pass go……..

    Thanks, Dan! The verdict is not in about the FL shooting but we all know why Sharpton and Jackson are “johnny-on-the-spot” in such incidence. I have long thought about how Bully and antagnonizing children grow up to be such as Sharpton and Jackson. Their parents did not do their job of teaching them we are all human beings and children of God. Sharpton and Jackson who professes to be “Ministers” are certainly not men of God’s Word. Then, I think about the terms we use to describe such people. Ignorant is unaware or uninformed. Stupid is Dense or Dumb or slow-witted-lacking intelligence or reason. Idiot is a foolish person usually not mentally exceeding the age of 3 years. Somehow, Sharpton and Jackson and their minions have all three descriptive adjectives. It is safe to say that until adult bullies revert to Biblical teachings, we will always have the uninformed,lacking the ability to reason and dim-witted. Parent’s Bully Children do grow up.

      Yes, the conservatives of this nation have been fast asleep permitting the liberals free-range in all things. Unfortunately, we may have waited too long to try and take our civic responsibilities to heart as well as the responsibility of holding our representatives’ feet to the fire. This mess really is our fault and we must suck it up and hit the road full speed-ahead if anything is to be salvaged.
      We hopped in the back seat when the Clinton circus came to town, and never really regained anything of substance that was once our proud Republic.
      Our local and state governments are taking on the same mantle as the exemplary model posted in the White House. Unqualified and even criminals are not deterred from running for any office. People have blindly pulled the switch to avoid being branded a racist or to take forceful advantage of the work of others.
      I must stop…I’m depressing myself now…..

    Mr Bubalo, I agree 100% with everything you said in your post. I’d like to take one point you made a step further. Those are givens.” I’d like point out that they’re only SC Judges, just people not God! If they do sell out the majority of US Citizens by upholding the Health Care death trap we the people have every right to dismiss them & we should. There are too many now who are ripping the “Blind Fold” off of Lady Justice & tipping the scale of justice in their own favor. It’s time all Americans got involved in protecting our Country & ourselves from the corrupt beasts who’ve become our masters instead of our Representatives!

    Oh Mr. Bubalo, I am so impressed with your perfect grasp of the situation and your ability to verbalize it. I have offically been cloyed!

    My own response to the assinine statement of our brilliant president was more physical. I opened my mouth wide and pantomimed sticking the index finger of my left hand down my throat.

    I wonder if Obama’s imaginary son would be wearing a hoody, flashing a “grill” and skulking and loitering about a gated community scaring the homeowners, who are understandably weary of criminal activity?

    Well said Mr. Bubalo. Between you and Mr. Massie I am not certain which has the greatest command of the English language. However, although that knowledge is impressive, it’s the truth you both exude that touches my very soul. Sharpton and Jackson and the NBPs need to stop playing the race card and lay down the Grace card….thank you for continuing to fight the good fight.

          Look up the history of the Black Panthers….Jackson was their ordained minister….He was never ordained by a legitimate church body. It think Sharpton is just a legend in his own mind!!!

    what a great article Dan! i doubt that much law is taught at harvard mr o doesn’t get it- that his place is the executive not judicial branch. sharpton and jesse should be tried for interstate terroism and fueling hate. we have seen what the media has done to the duke allegations and those feeble apologies. 3 innocent young men’s live were ruined and a attorney that must have been asleep in law school with all the evidence that was not handled in a legal fashion. you are right dan this president is way over his head it’s the big leagues it’s for keeps!!

    Folks, do you feel as I and just can’t wait for Mychal to finally get tough on Obama and his gangsta cronies running Washington and tell us what he really thinks of the Impostor in Chief?
    I sincerely ask all of you who come to this website daily in order to find truth and a deeper understanding of what is happening to our country as a result of the terrible mistake we made in 2008 to not only give Mychal all the support you can in any way you can but more than anything pray that God will continue to allow his message to be heard and spread among all those who are willing to search for truth and understanding in our society.
