‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

God is Supreme Not a Court

June 30, 2015

As I write this, it is Friday late afternoon and the sodomites are gearing up for a special weekend of revelry and debauchery in celebration of what they perceive to be a victorious Supreme Court ruling.

But not unlike the fools partying and making merry on the rooftop of the skyscraper in the Will Smith movie “Independence Day,” at some predetermined point in time the doors are going to open and all hell is going to break loose.

I am not wringing my hands and crying, “oh woe is me, all is lost.” I am saying this is a golden opportunity to witness the hand of God but I get ahead of myself.

The first and most important thing for Christians to remember is that God is on the throne and God does not condone sin nor does He change His mind about sin and debauchery.

God said: “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” (Leviticus 20:13 KJV)

What part of the Supreme Court’s ruling changes this judgment of God upon those who commit said sin? Does the Supreme Court ruling invalidate God’s word? Of course it doesn’t.

In fact, I would argue that those Supreme Court Justices who saw fit not to hold the Word of God inviolate have sentenced themselves to a harsh judgment lest we forget that God said: “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, an d light for darkness; put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.” (Isaiah 5:20)

Let me also add that God speaking through the Apostle Paul in Romans 1:22 said: “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.” Are we to believe that this Supreme Court ruling should change the mind and opinion of true Christians? Are we to obey the Supreme Court or God’s Word? Speaking of God’s Word let me also reference Paul’s words in Romans 1:18-32. God’s Word does not change neither is God a respecter of persons. What God calls an abomination on a Sunday, He also calls an abomination on a Friday afternoon.

God’s Word states: “the fool [who] hath said in his heart, there is no God.” (Psalms 53:1) The homosexuals and sodomites can cheer and applaud, but just what did an unrighteous court ruling do for them? Did the court ruling change the minds of those who oppose their vile debauchery? Did the court ruling make God overlook and accept their wickedness? Did the court ruling save their eternal souls from the damnation that is to come for them?

What those Supreme Court Justices did was sentence themselves to damnation for the act of flagrant disobedience to God’s Word. It matters not whether they believe or accept the Word of God as inviolate; God Himself does.

Therein lies the foolishness of humanity. They have been deceived into believing that they can do whatever they want and that there will be no penalties to be paid. Humanity has subscribed to the lie that God is a jolly old Burl Ives type who winks and is malleable subscribing to secular mores and craven desires of the flesh. But in truth He is none of these things. God is Autocratic and God is inflexible pursuant to what is consistent with His character.

Specific to that, if God did not spare Sodom and Gomorrah or Nineveh or any of the other kingdoms and wicked rulers – who thought themselves above Him, are we arrogant enough to believe He will treat us differently?

There are consequences for sin and let there be no doubt that same are crushing. A May 2015, Centers for Disease Control government fact sheet said: “[Homosexual] , bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM) are more severely affected by HIV than any other group in the United States.”

The same CDC government fact sheet stated: “Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) have been increasing among [homosexual] and bisexual men, with recent increases in syphilis being documented across the country. In 2012, men (MSM) who have sex with other men accounted for 75 percent of primary and secondary syphilis cases in the Untied States.” The same fact sheet said: “Homosexuals often are diagnosed with other STDs, including chlamydia and gonorrhea infections.”

“Human Papillomavirus, the most common STD in the United States, is also a concern for MSM. Some types of HPV can cause genital and anal warts and some can lead to the development of anal and oral cancer. Men who have sex with men are 17 times more likely to develop anal cancer than heterosexual men. Men who are HIV-positive are even more likely than those who are uninfected to develop anal cancer.”

The fact sheet states: “Males in the United States are more likely to take their own life at nearly four times the rates of females and represent 79 percent of all U.S. suicides. Suicide is the seventh leading cause of death for males in the United States. Men who have sex with men are at even greater risk for suicide attempts.”

Intimate partner violence (IPV) occurs between two people in a close relationship, including current and former partners. IPV includes four types of behavior: sexual violence, physical violence, threats of physical or sexual violence, and emotional abuse. Studies have estimated that 11 percent to 44 percent of men who have sex with men surveyed experienced IPV in same-sex relationships.” I add that is only those who are willing to tell the truth about the violence they endure. If those in normal heterosexual relationships lie/deny abuse, how much more so those in abnormal homosexual relationships?

The CDC fact sheet states: “[Homosexual] and bisexual men are at increased risk for certain sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including Hepatitis A, B and C, which are contagious liver diseases. Approximately 10% of new Hepatitis A and 20% of all new Hepatitis B infections in the United States are among men who have sex with men. Many men have not been vaccinated against viral hepatitis A and B, despite the availability of safe and effective vaccine. Gay and bisexual men are at increased risk for Hepatitis C if they are involved in high-risk behaviors. Unfortunately, there is not vaccine for hepatitis C. … There is a safe and effective vaccine that protects gay and bisexual men from Hepatitis A and B.”

HIV/AIDS, mental health, and substance abuse are exponentially higher among homosexuals than heterosexuals. Engaging in reprobate debaucherous behavior comes with a price. Lesbians are not without significant threat of disease either.

Heart disease and cancer of the breast, lung, colon, uterine, and ovarian are higher among lesbians and bisexual women. Depression and anxiety are higher, as is abuse and violence, as well as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) which is the most common hormonal problem of the reproductive system in women of childbearing age. But while five to ten percent of heterosexual women of childbearing age may have PCOS, lesbians have a significantly higher rate of PCOS.

The CDC fact sheet stated that lesbian and bisexual women are more likely to have a higher body mass index (BMI) than normal heterosexual women. They are at risk for a plethora of diseases and emotional disorders not least of which are sexually transmitted infections (STIs) by skin-to-skin contact, mucosa contact, e.g., mouth to vagina, vaginal fluids, menstrual blood, and sharing sex toys.

Lesbians are at exponentially higher risk for STIs such as bacterial vaginosis, chlamydia, genital herpes, including herpes simplex viruses type 1 (HSV-1) or type 2 (HSV-2), human papillomavirus (HPV), pubic lice, trichomoniasis (which is caused by a parasite that can be spread during sex), gonorrhea, hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, and syphilis.

These are just the tip of the proverbial iceberg of the range and death inducing results confronting those who disregard the security of obedience to God and live their lives driven by lust, perversion, and debauchery.

Homosexuals, lesbians, transgendereds attempt to blame normal society and the Christian church for their what they suffer, but no amount of tolerance will prevent the diseases that are rife amongst their kind. And after that cometh the judgment for them. Do they think they can debate God in the hereafter as they have argued before a corrupt Supreme Court? Do they think they will be able to convince God to spare them by offering a legal brief as before the Supreme Court?

There is but One who can save them and they have willfully rejected Him. So as I said at the beginning, they are celebrating and partying now. But the door to hell will open for them sooner than they think and nothing that the Supreme Court did will save them.

As for me, I will obey the Lord to the best of my ability.
