We didn’t need Obama and his cabal to prove to us how incapable government was at running things. But we did need him to show us how far an unrestrained government, led by ineptitude, lies, and failed policies will go to secure its position and control our lives.
Pretty much, with the exception of FDR, no president until this one, has been so willing to ignore the good of the country for the furtherance of an agenda that has no hope of succeeding. Obama’s claim to fame will be that he destroyed the economy and the country, but he got healthcare passed, homosexuals in the military, and strangled growth.
He has attacked business, advocating at every turn the need for government to control our lives. His wife is the very image of gluttony and yet she has the audacity to tell us not to eat french fries. He speaks to us of shared sacrifice while they jet-set around the world on our dime.
He has blustered and pontificated at every opportunity trying to convince people of the old adage that “that if a lie is told often enough it will become truth.”
But it is his arrogance, that is the most upsetting thing about him, followed very closely by his unparalleled willingness to lie. And now we see both of of these proclivities in the ongoing investigation of solyndra.
First of all he wasted our money – no, I correct myself, he stole our money and passed it around to his cronies and sycophants before Congress and/or the people had a chance to raise questions about it. Green technology and solar energy hasn’t worked, and I submit it won’t work on the scale he is trying to force it upon us until we have Buck Rogers in his rocket plane.
Don’t be left out of our FREE Business Directory – Place your listing here
Obama was warned solyndra was not a sound company to invest the people’s money in, and yet he did. He was warned there was a strong likelihood he could be made to look bad if solyndra tanked as his closest advisors were advising him it probably would. But, due to his narcissistic arrogance, he puffed out his chest and did the phony parade around the business site while pretending to be interested. Sure enough solyndra has blown up and the spray from that outhouse is in his face.
Solyndra is like the small business he boasted about in Allentown, PA that closed its doors months after he did a photo-op thumping his chest at same. But that but that failure didn’t deter him, he’s back doing the media tour telling the slobbering interviewers he doesn’t regret squandering our money in solyndra for one moment and that he’d do it again. Prevailing wisdom believes Solyndra isn’t even the tip of the iceberg. Many, myself included, believe if Congress and the media does their jobs, it will be discovered that there are a significant number of similar failings and squanded taxpayer money.
I say, he should be impeached and indicted for knowingly taking our money – and then against all sound advice squandering it on the equivalent of an investment Bernie Madoff would have questioned. And then he tells us “heck yah, he’d do it again.” How much more of our money should we permit him to waste on his wife’s wildly expensive vacations, bailouts, and investments in technology that doesn’t work and that people don’t want. The responsible thing to do would be to reign in his EPA and allow drilling, mining of coal, and nuclear. That would create jobs and true energy independence.
Obama is a train wreck and he should be held accountable for creating a financial disaster. CEO’s of companies are being brought up on criminal charges for less impropriety.
Now he purposes to tell banks how to run their day to day when he and Dick Durbin are the reason banks raised debit card fees. People don’t need his intrusion, they can simply change banks. Failure has had many faces, but none more Erebusic than his.
With all that said, let me ask where the Republican Party is and what exactly they’re doing? Why are they so afraid to begin impeachment proceeding against Obama? Why are they so unwilling to do their jobs?
Holding hearings is the equivalent of doing nothing. They grandstand and blather in front of the camera and then leave for drinks over dinner. In the meantime we are shafted. It’s time we demanded good government and accountability.

tyrone washington: this is good…thk you…
Mychal, I appreciate your speaking out in truth. As for Herman Cain, I have great respect for him and his background/beliefs/vision for America. My husband feels privileged to have spoken with Mr. Cain at the ATL airport after they both deboarded (?) the same aircraft. He was easily approchable, engaging and most interesting. HE HAS OUR VOTE AND SUPPORT AND WE’LL BE POSTING HIS SIGNS ON OUR 20 ACRES. GO HERMAN CAIN!!!
fay: way to go…
I would like to know why the news media isn’t talking about the 3/4 of a billion dollars Nancy Pelosi’s brother-in-law received for his company, and I don’t know the amount Reid’s son received, but it totaled to over a billion dollars. This should be investigated. If congress can keep it’s republican majority, and the senate gains a republican majority, maybe we can see what they will do about some of this chicanery. I’d like to see jail time for some of these politicians. Enough already!!!
Jan72: pressure them…contact groups liek judicial watch and NLPC…talk to them about being involved….
If the FACT that O’Bummer’s birth certificate (the official one that is posted on the White House site) is a FRAUD, that’d be a good start.
Download it, zoom in to 800%. Look at the “1″ at the end of the serial number. It’s gray scale and pixelated, obviously pasted in. Other numbers/text are pasted in and gray instead of the original black text. In the “A” of the signature at the bottom, there is a “smiley face”.
Geez, Congress must know this, so they’re complicit in it all. I have to wonder if it is PLANNED that this certificate be shown a fraud to stir people up into rioting so Martial Law will be declared and the UN can call the USA defunct (no viable president or congress) and “save” us with their New World Order.
stevor: he could be impeached and idicted for any number of things and I want to know why boehner et al are sitting on their hands doing nothing…
Thank you for a truthful, common since web-site. You are a breath of fresh air.
Howard
howard w. smith: I glad you enjoy…the guys at Cutty & Powers are doing a masterful job in the creation and maintenance of the site…they make it incredibly easy for me to do what I do…your support is greatly appreciated…
Good to hear your rational voice again. I really do like Herman a lot, but I’ve spent a lot of years watching politics with my old man who has been a minor mover/shaker in his lifetime. I’d more expect that Mr. Cain could serve in a cabinet capacity or Veep first before entering the WH. With no disrepect meant toward HC, we already have one person “serving” without any idea of what he is supposed to do. Herman doesn’t lack the ability or potential, I’m just afraid of the number of people who wouldn’t vote for him due to a total lack of experience in government affairs as we’ve currently been dealing with.
I don’t think any President is well-versed in all areas in which he must govern. He picks well qualified advisors, starting with the VP, followed by his cabinet. I’ve heard him address the issue of Afghanistan and he said he would have to talk with the top military advisers before making a decision. I know where he stands on Israel and it’s the total opposite of Obama. We know he understands what it takes to allow businesses to grow and hire. He wants to reform our tax code. He was a ballistics analyst for the Navy during Vietnam. I, personally, am wondering if he and Gingrich wouldn’t make a good duo. They’re straight forward, outspoken and I like the ideas I’ve heard from them!
ruth ann: you are referring to Herman Cain…even though you didn’t mention him…and I agree…
Mychal,
thank God you are out here for all of us.
We need more like you!!!!
Go Mychal…Thank you so much!!!
Great JOB!!!
I believe it starts higher than that. Needs to start with the princibles God gave us. The founders wrote them down in the constitution..Niether is considered important to this administration. Now we can see first hand what happens when we go our own way. Gots to get God involved in America again. Only thing that will work. This Presicent is just a tool for the power people to use to bring us into the New World Order. One World money system. Sheesh. It is so obvious. Roy
Herman Cain is my Man.
He is a true Blue American…I’m proud of what he stands for
and for who he is.
He is a true “Blue” American….any black or white should be proud of all he has accomplished……he seems to know how to do the “Right”
Thing….and knows where to lead and how to lead us.
Go Herman Cain!!!!
Herman Cain is the Elite “MAN”…which any color would be proud to stand behind.
He represents the “HUMAN RACE” in all it’s “GOODNESS”
He’s been “THE BEST EXAMPLE OF WHAT AMERICA IS ALL ABOUT”
He has worked hard…and he makes us all proud to be an “AMERICAN”
of any color.
“Herman Cain’s color is……………”TRUE BLUE”
If America could have a “POSTAR BOY/MAN…….HERMAN CAIN”S THE MAN”!!!!!!!
thinking like this made this country great! if you run i will vote for this type of thinking and you. i am taking your advice and am writing my senators and congressmen again and again.!!as i have done in this past year maybe someone will listen! thank you !
John Simmons: also write letters to the editor…telling the public that you have written numerous times and what results you got…exposed their good and expose their ignoring you…
Dear Mr. Massey, I am thankful to you for the blunt writing of a blunt character in Mr. O. My take on this man after studying him thouroughly is: A TOTAL FAKE, BUT OBVIOUS MARXCIST. The first indication was HOPE and now the biggy CHANGE, BEING A FAVORITE BUZZ WORD OF SAUL ALINSKY. Further, Mr. O. hardly has original speeches, they are mostly borrowed from other people. Next: Mr. O. does not remotely like just a little bit the U.ofA, neither does his wife. At the 9/11 Memorial service, she whispered to O. “it’s always about the blasted flag”, I asked a friend who lip reads if I saw it correctly. Mrs. O. is sadly mistaken, it was about the people who were killed. Mr. O. keeps the strangest bed fellows and I am wondering if any more vermin can crawl out of the wood works and adhere themselves to him, because they are scum and blood suckers, full of the same rheteric as Alinsky Marxist, Leninist mental retards, but dangerous. Further, the worst liar I have ever witnessed and it strangely reminds me of Islamist’s ” it’s ok to lie to infedels”. I can go on, the mocking of our midwest people “folks in Kansas are dearly attached to their gund and God”. You bet we are attached to both, because God we can trust and guns are our only defense against Tyrants.
The fact that you have written such outspoken articles and, forgive me, are a fellow blsack person, gives me hope for the black community to be educated, because I fear for them to be USED AND THROWN AWAY BY THIS USURPER. This man and his bought of main-stresm- media has made this country divided. It was gone and now it is a major sad issue again. There is more, but you well know it. I did not vote for him, no track record, but most of all no personal info on him either, false BC, stolen SS #, lies, his uncle’s release after announcing he would have to go through the system, stealing America blind, EPA should be closed, Global warming is a scam and on and on.
Impeachment is my thought exactly and just today I was asked to participate in impeachment proceedures collecting signatures. Need your thought on that.
Further we could use your help for background checks on Cain, Perry, Romney, Huntsman-though I am not crazy about him. It would be a great service of yours to help with this, because I am weary. Thank you sir, you have a very astute mind and dont mice your words.
mishca: I resent the mindset taht somehow what I write gives hope to the black community…have you any idea how statements like that sound…comments like yours communicate a mindset of superiority I reject…I write opinion for everyone…not a cloistered and myopic group as defined by those who perceive themselves to be the wise…get over color…it is the tool of the malevolent and the thoughts of those who are unthinking…who in your parenthetical world gives you hope for the so-called white community…its time people realized we are Americans…and that obama is bad for America…the color of skin isn’tr the issue so let’s not make it same…keep in mind it was whites who are chiefly responsible for obama being in office…
Dear Mr. Massey,
Though I appriciate your reply, you have taken what I wrote as an insult, which was not my intention at all, It was meant in a way of helping those who placed their trust in a man who happens to share their color, who will be and have been sorely misused and I fear for their feeling of betrayal. The same goes for the white community, but they will get over it far easier. Did you see the faces, tears and comments that they thought they would never see the day??? It was heartbreaking. My comment was not based on white against black, it was evil against innocents.
I am truly sorry you felt I was being disrespectful, especially since I have great respect for you.
mischa: I am not politically correct indeed I abhor same…I want free and open dialogue…there are those who use race and color as currency…if we engage them on that level we will always loose…I encourage you to read carefully my rants and columns…study how and when I address race…I’m not concerned about who’s respectful…my point is that we must stop playing into the hands of those who seek to divide us…my other point is we must take stock of how we think and why we think as we do…I’m trying to help you and others think about what we say…not for the sake of political correctness or feigned concern for feelings…I’m concerned for the sake of our battle…we must revisit how we think and see things especially when it comes to color/race and also finaces…they are the two areas that can do us the most harm…I do however have one complaint to discuss w/ you and that is that you keep misspelling my name… ;o)
I just want to again say that you have courage, conviction, and integrity. Your strength I believe comes from your solid moral fiber based upon your faith in a loving God. There are not many who would risk so much, if it were not for the strength you drawn from the inner man. God is using you to give hope, were there is none to be found, courage to those who have lost their courage over time, and faith in the Lord who is more than able to bring us out of our bondage.
We have been held captives by our representatives of our government, they have not heard our voices, nor do they care. I continue to pray to God that he will heal our nation, and that corruption that covers our nation like quick sand. We are not powerless, we can as a country come together and put in people who love our country and who want to do the right thing. We have lost are way and now we have a chance to change our ways and hire the right people who will make the right choices which will hurt in the short run. We can drain the swamp, no really drain the swamp. Have faith in knowing that Good always out weighs the bad….
rondelanzo: thk you much…but I’m not courageous or anything of the sort…I’m simply willing…
Mr. Massie, you hit this one right out of the ballpark! I enjoyed reading it and actually was disappointed when I got to the end. Not for any other reason than I was just craving more! LOL! Your passion is obvious and I am grateful to have someone of your stature on the side of those who want to do the right thing and turn this country around. We need wise, informed, intelligent, people during times like this and you sir, fit the bill to a ‘T’. God bless you.
Minnie: you are too kind..
Au Contraire “memett”! Cain does have star power! Did you not watch the debate? He is eloquent yet down home, he is brilliant yet willing to play along with the silly question of VP. He is every man’s man being a self made man and coming from working class parents that WORKED FOR A LIVING! God bless him and may America RISE out of their easy chairs, turn off the boob tube, toss away the remote and get out there and be productive in some way whether it is tutoring kids, coaching Little League or becoming an entrepreneur. Either way, the Cain Train is gaining steam! And you know how hard it is to stop a locomotive! PS Thanks Mychal for saying what needs saying and for not needing a sign in anymore! ;-)
Diane Amble: thk you for sticking in there w/ us…also…I like my remote and late night TV..I don’t want to throw it away nor give up late night TV…and I like my chair…are you sure I should give up both…
The lamestream media constantly reports that the Republicans won’t “compromise” with the Democracts on anything.
That’s not true: Instead of Impeachment they would go along with a simple resignation from the messiah in a New York minute.
Bill Sr: lol…loved it…great comment…
I’m age 66 and grew up in the 50′s & 60′s, when times were good and streets were safe. I do understand (from my Christian perspective) why obamanation is in the White House…because many folks in this country don’t get involved in much, exception being in their own little 4-walls. Faith-Hope-Charity must return if things are going to change. “Faith and
Change” with no substance equals nothing. The math is not so hard…
0 + 0 = 0, and that’s exactly what we got! Those who voted for mr.0 need to go back to Elementary School to learn simple math…if they don’t nothing will change!
joel in fl: he was a miserably bad choice no matter what reason aperson voted for him…he is big little “o”…
FIRST, I AM THRILLED THAT YOU DO NOT NEED TO “SIGN IN”..JJEEZZ LOUISE..AFTER A WHILE THAT GETS TO BE SICKENING!!!!!
SECOND, I LOVE YOU………..I HEAR MYSELF SPEAKING, EVERY TIME, SO I HAVE TO LOVE YOU. A TRUTHFUL PERSON….IS LIKE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND, NOW A DAYS.
THIRD, I AM A CAIN SUPPORTER…AS HE HAS A SOLUTIONS AND COMMON SENSE ONES, BUT MOST OF ALL, TRUTHFUL ONES. AND, YOU AND I KNOW THAT COMMON SENSE DOES “NOT” PREVAIL IN THE MINDS OF A LOT OF PEOPLE. I AM FROM POLISH REFUGEES….AND KNOW WHAT WORK AND RESPECT FOR MY COUNTRY IS. I BELIEVE HE IS NOT RUNNING TO KISS ENEMIES AND WILL FIGHT TO GET OUR FORMER COUNTRY BACK. CONTINUE YOUR GOOD WORKS MYCHAL, AND GOD BLESS YOU. C. ALMEIDA
C. ALMEIDA: I knew you felt this way so I insisted that we open the site…lol…Herman is definitely not running to kiss enemies…
Mychal, as usual – you are right-on!! Thank you for voicing your informed, level-headed, common sense thoughts. Well said!
Lotow: thk you my friend…
Mychal,
It is too late. We are finished. Remember what happened to Czar Nicholas of Russia? nuff said………..
dave bulkoski: its not to late until God says it is…
Mychal, your latest rant just gives more support for our continued referencing of the POTUS as “lamont” (after Redd Foxx’s son in Sanford and Son – -”Lamont, you dummy, get over here!” be sure to use a small “L” in lamont)and occasionally as the kenyan (again, notice the small”k”)
Keep up the great work and continue telling it as you see it!
It was simply marvelous to open up my email this morning and find that I did not have to “sign in” to epen up the rest of your rant, and could therefore dive right in at the opening bell. GOOD STUFF!!
alan floyd spector: first of all I liked Lamont…secondly Demond Wilson who played Lamont…is a Christian from what I know leading a respectable life…it does injustice to label obama as him…
The reason they won’t start the impeachment process is the only obvious one. It is the same thing the demo-craps keep bringing up and say they want to stop more than anything. The only problem is by continuing to make it an issue they only add to the problem. Republicans are scared of being called racist or accused of supporting racism. I wish this would all go away so someday the people of this country will stop having to mark boxes on applications, and that all that is important is that you are a good person, not a ethnic group.
cfield: my response those who think as you have outlined…is to tell them to man up…truth is its own defense…they can call me what they want…I’m still right…
Time to get those who want to be president to tell us if they are for or against Congressional Term Limits and a Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution. This same question should be directed to everyone running for office. It came up in 1994 but the RHINOS sunk it like they did GWB’s personal accounts for social security, which by the way should send us audited annual statements showing us what they have done with our money. They have our account numbers.
Congressional term limits are a good thing on the surface, BUT:
This will simply force the elites in both parties to create “politician mills” like puppy mills. In order to have one set up and ready to go already primed for their style. Granted this will take a while, a few years in the pipeline to get going.
Balanced Budget Amendment to the Constitution is a BAD IDEA & I have TWO very good reasons: 1, opening up the Constitution while the left is in power is insane. The lying, cheating & stealing would hit lows never though of before because SO much would be possible for them if they could alter the Constitution their way. 2, Any Balanced Budget Amendment would HAVE to have a caveat about war, or our enemies would simply knew we cant afford to go to war and they would be free to harm us short of open war. What does this mean? It means in order to get the money to steal again all they would have to do is continue the current fad of permanent war.
rivenburg: to the extent that i agree w/ you…the voters are the limiters of their terms…if we exercise our power…
iconoclast: we are the term limits if we exercise our power…if we vote enough of them out after one term for not acting in our interests…tehy would get the message…they’re not concerned because they know the voters won’t hold them acccountable…yes to a balanced budget amendment…
Mychal:
Thanks for the excellent article regarding the “Sleuth” with the hand in the cookie jar. There is an article on WND today regarding the impeachment of Mr. O. We are encouraged that voices are being heard. With all of the apparent set backs with the birth certificate, and a the Supreme Court evading the issue. It seems Sheriff Joe isn’t alone.
I am thankful for your voice as well–”steady as she goes”, and the ship will be put back on course for “Kingdom’s Sake”.
Lee
Lee…I want him, holder, his wife, all of his administration and 95% of both houses of congress out of there yesterday…
It’s clear why the Republicans won’t impeach. Their polling shows Obama and dems nationwide losing in a landslide next November, but if the Republicans impeach, they fear a negative backlash from media and independents that will put their landslide victory at risk. So, Big Government Republicans are putting politics above the Constitution. Obviously, democrats in the Senate won’t vote to remove him out of fear of losing their base which is just about all they have right now.
The consequences of impeachment proceedings would be far, far worse than just losing votes. Herman Cain is absolutely right when he said that blacks in America have been brainwashed to believe whatever Democrats tell them and Republicans would be so demonized that there would be rioting and perhaps open warfare on the streets of every major American city. The polarization in America has become so extreme that we are inching ever closer to revolution or civil war.
Don: I have found that there are times a man has to stand up and do what is right…and let thos ewho disapprove do as they will…I don’t lead my life worried about what people think…I do what I believe to be right…and my conscience is clear…
There is another possible reason for their appearent foot dragging that is VERY apt: once out of office, barak cant pardon them. Think Marc Rich. So they will start proceedings against obamas cabel when the end will be AFTER the lame duck year.
Rivenburg: valid observation…but I’m inclined to believe its because they negligent in the oath of the office they hold…
Kelso: therein lies teh problem…they’re more concerned about plzg the media than doing what’s right…
Thank you for being strong enough to tell it like it is. Nobody in Washington nor the media has the backbone to do this.
Barb Ellison: there are many who have not bowed before baal…
Mychal, Thanks for the levelheaded insight of your article. I’m happy to see common sense and wisdom in you writing.
Thanks!
CaraGia: you are most welcome…
I “lost” you for a couple of years after contacting you and am so happy to have got you back. What you say is right on target. I have never met a man (Obama) who is so far out of sync with my core beliefs. And I am relieved to find another (Cain) who values my values. I am afraid that Hermann Cain doesn’t have the star power to become elected POTUS, but I sure would be happy if he were close to the White House with his candor and intelligence.
mernett,
obama is the result of a combination of psycopathy of the greedy that has gotten us to this point. I don’t wonder at all why we have obama. the people who control the economy and government by force have gotten what they wanted, a brute for a president. mister we could use a man like bill clinton again.
dave bulkowski: I say we could use a Godly man…and that pretty much rules out clinton…albeit he was better than obama…
I fear Herman Cain might be another Manchurian, he WAS a FED banker, VERY close to the top. These people (federal bankers) ARE the problem right now. I like what Mr Cain has to say about so many things, BUT he is pro-bailout, not good.
If Herman Cain would cuddle up to Ron Paul and ask him to be Cains VP or promise to make him Treasury secretary Id trust him FAR more. Herman Cain is almost too good to be true on the surface. The FED membership is a SERIOUS negetive.
rivenburg: Cain is there for all to vet…
memett: I’m glad you found me again…Herman has what is necessary to be eleted if the people stand behind him…
