Obama is what he is, and, considering the stock that he was spawned from, it was a fait accompli that he would grow up to be the morally bankrupt narcissist he is. In circles not accessible to the public at large, we are aware of the threats and intimidation tactics he employed in his 2008 presidential campaign. And we continue to see him resort to the same tactics whenever he feels threatened. Quoting Albert Einstein: “The world is a dangerous place. Not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it.”
Specific to that point, where the heck are the Republicans? Where is the Republican leadership? Why are they passively compliant pursuant to his blatant and unrepentant disregard for the Constitution of the United States? Are not they sworn to uphold the Constitution as well? Are they blind to what he is doing? Are they in awe of him, in fear of him, or like him to the point that they will feign indignation when they are backed into the corner to do so? How many more impeachable offenses will Obama have to commit before they step up and honor their oaths? How many more Czars will they allow him to appoint as unelected determiners of policy? How many more Executive Orders will they just turn a blind eye to as he ignores and bypasses Congressional authority?
Obama is now threatening the Supreme Court of The United States in a way never witnessed in history. As Sher Zieve reported (Dictator Obama Issues New Threat To Supreme Court Over Obamacare; Infowars.com; 5/3/12):
In his latest display of his full USA federal government dictatorship over both the American people and the former co-branches of government, Dictator Obama is warning the Supreme Court to either rule in his favor or face severe consequences.
Fox News’ Martha McCallum advised Thursday that the Obama Administration has been quietly sending missives to the Supreme Court threatening that if it doesn’t rule in his favor on ObamaCare, Medicare will face disruption and “chaos.” Therefore, if SCOTUS rules in favor of the US Constitution, Obama & Co will begin its campaign to either destroy Medicare or make those on it suffer greatly. The Obama syndicate is said to be threatening to hold off Medicare payments to doctors and hospitals if SCOTUS does not comply with Obama’s demands and submit to him.
As an additional example of Obama’s illegal and (I believe) highly treasonous behaviors, on 1 May and 2 May Obama issued two additional unconstitutional and illegal Executive Orders. The first E.O., issued 1 May 2012, makes the USA subject to “international regulations” as opposed to looking to and following the US Constitution. Also, with this new E.O., the US FDA will now be able to be bypassed by International committees—thus, replacing the FDA with any international group which may be chosen. In essence, Obama is quickly eliminating US Sovereignty and selling the USA to the international “community.”
Suffice it to say, no one in Congress has issued even the proverbial “peep” over either of these illegal “orders.” Do the American people really want to continue to live under this blatant tyranny?
The second question is “Will the Supreme Court of the United States of America bow to Obama and give up its co-equal status to the dictator as the US Congress has already done?” If so, perhaps its time for We-the-People to recruit the Honduran Supreme Court who, along with their military, ousted its then President Manuel Zelaya who had become a dictator. Oppression under the Obama syndicate becomes worse each and every day, folks. Will we ever choose to go back to the sunshine?

It is worth noting that SCOTUS overturning an unconstitutional law passed by Congress is neither unprecedented nor extraordinary. If my memory serves me well, SCOTUS has overturned a law passed by Congress on at least 120 occasions. Conjunctive to that, has he forgotten (or intentionally dismissed) the fact that the job of the Supreme Court is to interpret the Constitution? That means it is their job to determine the Constitutionality of laws, be they Congressional in origin notwithstanding. Or is he prepared to argue the High Court acted in an unprecedented and extraordinary way when they ruled in Brown v. Board of Education? Obama claims to have been a Constitutional attorney and law professor–shouldn’t we expect him to know that? I know it and not only am I neither but add to that I’m working from memory.
The other thing he should know is that Congress is not democratically elected. That would indicate we are a Democracy and we are not. We have a Representative form of government. The Justices (save perhaps Kagan and Sotomayor) are his intellectual superiors on every level, it makes him appear puerile and petulant when he attacks them and attempts to diminish them. There is a reason the Founders, in their infinite wisdom, made lifetime appointments for the Justices–and it was to protect them and the Republic from would-be Marxists like Obama.
The question is: Will Republicans and Congressional members of good moral conscience stand up to a president who mirrors those of Cuba and Venezuela? If they will not, then we should take immediate steps to rid ourselves of them as well. The question is: Are we willing to do the hard work of removing those betraying us and our Constitution?

I’m a honky near 70 although the hue of my skin means nothing except I more than likely sunburn easier than you do. I don’t have my picture up because I can’t figure out how to put it up but for what it’s worth, I’m 5′-10″ (an inch shorter than I was in my salad days) and 180 pounds of what used to be muscle. I’m was no Arnold, but it was solid. The hair on my head is mostly gone and is being replaced with it growing in my ears (something they don’t tell you about in the joys of old age). Being in Texas I’m not a registered anything but I vote mostly Republican although I consider myself a right leaning independent. I was the Sergeant at Arms of a Republican precinct who quit in a huff because they tried to make me sign an oath to support the Republican platform and I didn’t agree with some of it. I’m bone headed but will listen. Obama was never a Professor of anything. He was a Lecturer.
I agree with Mychal on most things, but no way all. We type at each other and I for one enjoy the verbal competition. The government at all levels irritates me. It is nothing like they taught us in the third grade. I’m prepared to fight for the 2nd amendment although I’m well aware that I’ll lose. In reference to the oath for members of the House, it is the same as the oath taken by Senators.
Mychal, I seldom disagree with you, but I think you’ve asked the wrong question: “Will Republicans and Congressional members of good moral conscience stand up to a president who mirrors those of Cuba and Venezuela?” I think the first question we need answered would be: “Are there any Senators or Congressional Representatives of good conscience?”
The Presidential oath is short and sweet, “I do solemnly swear that I will execute the office of
President of the United States and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” That shouldn’t require any interpretation. Mr. Obama is not and has not protected or defended our Constitution. There have been many instances in his reign that have been worthy of impeachment. So, what is the problem? Our Senators and Representatives in the House have been sitting on their hands, not willing for whatever reason, to call him to account.
The oath that Senators and Representatives take is longer, but close to the Presidential Oath, in that it requires Senators to “support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign or domestic,” in addition, Senators swear to “bear true faith and allegiance” to the Constitution, “without any mental reservation.” The fact that they have done nothing to “protect and defend” our nation from all of Mr Obama’s wrong doings is enough to impeach them.
Considering the goings on in Washington D.C., it seems to me that none of our duly elected office holders are living up to their oaths. What can we as citizens do to force impeachment hearings on all of these slackers? How would we even begin to go about expelling the riff-raff who are currently pretending to “serve” as our representatives? If something doesn’t stop the insidious plans Mr Obama is carrying out, we will wake up one day soon to find that we are living in a Muslim Communist country. HELP!!!

Whether they feel some political, cultural, or social personalities have the answers with the ideologies they champion, they listen to certain political rhetoric; doctrine without question or investigation, they truly believe complex matters are solved with simple solutions, or they simply WANT to HEAR; BELIEVE SOMETHING that SUITS THEIR FEARS; PARANOIA, I’m amazed at the commonality of ‘logic’(?) exhibited in this forum.
I’d like to know how many of you are TRULY KNOWLEDGEABLE of the CONSTITUTION; CONSTITUTIONAL LAW? Are you REALLY AWARE of how the Supreme Court operates?

Its appeared to me for some time the republican leadership is only showing us the side of their face that is profitable for getting what they want and not telling us the whole truth. The parties came about naturally, as people of like mind, with differing opinions, gathered each to his own, and our elections early on, were loud, cacaphonus, and very active. Plurality won elections, and few were afraid to confront would be office holders, considering themselves equal.
Our loss of principle, led by presidents who saw empire brought about very strongly contested elections, and killed off the weaker parties, and the old adage, two’s company, three’s a crowd” is true, and it fits mankind’s nature.
While we focused inward, on our own Nation, and our own economy, we were quite comfortable with many parties, and we still voted for a person, in our election of president.
Once the wars initiated against Mexico, then Spain, and finally Germany had accustomed us to dealing with parties, we allowed the parties to take control of means and manners of elections, and in essence, turned government over to parties, and relinquished our Citizen Sovereignty, in exchange for not having to be responsible for right and wrong.
We are capable of totally over-riding them today, but we have been carefully divided into multiple loyalties, over many differing issues, and without being cohesive as Sovereign Citizens, we will never get our Sovereignty back.
We allowed our rule of law to be superceded by the will of elected “leaders”, and in doing so, we reneged on our personal citizen responsibility as Sovereigns, allowing them to make decisions which were our responsibility, and having done so, acclimated them to rule over us, rather than serve us, as representatives.
Only when we recognize we allowed this, can we ever realise we can turn it around and take back our sovereignty, however those who have assumed it will never give it up without a fight, so we gave it up freely, but have to fight a war if we wish to be free and sovereign as citizens, again. This might well be our last chance, as America.

The “progressives” have invaded both parties. It is almost pointless to argue in favor of Republicans or Democrats… they are both socialist parties intent on getting US Sovereignty abolished and subordinate to the New World Order under the United Nations. If McCain has been elected instead of Obama we’d be having the same discussion right now!
If ever I felt that the end times of scriptures are upon us now is it! I hardly expect any republican to voice opposition. Where are Allen West, Rubio, and Cane when we really need them? Surely there will still be someone who will stand for the U.S. Constitution if only “We the People” who do so in November. Of course we need to negate the Spanish ultra-liberal Company which is now positioned to make our election process a fraud by their entitlement to do the counting. How long will it take everyone in America to wake up and realize we must cancel that contract?
The United Nations is growing to become the Tyrant of the World with their New World Order. The will be the royalty and the world citizens will be their serfs and peasants! Pantheism is now the official religion of America! (Look of the definition, folks and realize it is now true!). The attack under Pantheism is underway to eliminate Real Estate ownership by the peasantry (that’s you and me, folks!). Without Real Estate ownership, individual wealth becomes impossible because equity in property cannot be passed to descendants! Pantheism is being foisted upon us through EPA Regulations, Agenda 21, ICLEI, Sustainable Development, Planned limited human habitation areas, FEMA camps, etc. The list goes on!
Mychal, voices like yours are welcomed music to this old soldier. But I expect that soon the free speech that you and I are presently expressing shall become illegal by another Executive Order by our Marxist in Chief and his brown shirt brigade.
When the order goes to the military to gather up the American citizens for shipment to FEMA death camps the question is: Will our soldiers obey their pledge to defend the US Constitution against all enemies, Foreign or Domestic, will they only obey the legal and moral laws, or will they cower like the Nazis did in the 1930’s?
The time is coming for all good men to stand against evil with their voices. Vote this November like the survival of our country depends upon it. It does!
