Herman Goldwater

True positive change suffered a setback from which we may not recover. Herman Cain offered real substantive change, not the canned, vacuous, hollow campaign promises typified by politicians.

But to understand what happened, we must go back and look at what has happened before. This isn’t the first time a true champion of the people has been unjustly maligned – not for the sake of retaining the status quo as such, but, in reality, to ensure the overthrow of America from within.

The attacks against Herman Cain came from diabolical apparatchiks in both the Democratic and Republican parties. Both parties hated and feared him – Democrats, because Herman threatens to break the locks used to keep blacks, women and the so-called poor and minorities imprisoned on an invisible plantation where the cash crop was no longer cotton, but rather victimology and blame. Republicans, because he threatened to undo that which they cherish most – graft and a country-club lifestyle achieved by corrupting the financial processes.

But binding both of these Erebusic practices together is the same shadowy cabal that destroyed another great man’s chances of making real and substantive change. That man was Barry Goldwater. But I get ahead of myself.

The best way to limit something or someone’s ability to survive without your constant involvement is to give that something or someone something for nothing. If you feed wild animals long enough, they lose the ability to survive in the wild on their own. If you provide everything for your child, you end up with children like Paris Hilton or any number of other brats with no moral center.

Ergo, I have come to believe that the true intent of Lyndon Johnson’s civil rights legislation was to ensure that all blacks and women were gathered on one reserve. The intent of Johnson’s Great Society initiative was to keep them there.

Barry Goldwater presented the first real threat to the Maoism of the Great Society that Johnson wanted to set in place – and those behind Johnson’s socialist agenda were not about to let that happen. Those behind the destruction of Goldwater were the younger versions of those behind the destruction of Herman Cain.

In his book, Barack Obama and The Enemies Within Trevor Loudon quotes the nation’s premier communist researcher, Herbert Romerstein, and former KGB officer Stanislav Levchenko, who examined Soviet attempts to blacken Goldwater’s name. “The false charge that Goldwater was a racist was one of the smear campaigns used against his candidacy by the Soviets and their surrogates. The American Communists covertly assisted in this ‘active measures’ campaign” (page 425).

The so-called intellectual elite pretends to blanch at the mention of shadowy forces operating from the skyboxes of politics out of sight. Levchenko and Romerstein documented that in a booklet published in 1963, claiming that Goldwater was conspiring with the John Birch Society to spur a violent insurrection to take over the United States in 1964.

I point this out because that mysteriously published booklet, and the false claims of his being a racist, did to Goldwater what Ginger White and the media did to Herman Cain. The booklet was found to have been published, according to the House Un-American Activities Committee, by a publishing company in Chicago that was owned by two members of the Communist Party USA.

The point I’m making is that there is an order of doing things, and under no circumstances are the forces behind the scenes going to permit that order to be threatened. Goldwater threatened it, and Herman Cain threatened it.

Herman Cain threatened to truly empower the people. He threatened to actually change Washington and strike the final deathblow to the closet bigots – those who feel one black president is enough but are too dishonest to say it publicly. Herman threatened to return government back to the people – something those who manipulate the system were not about to see happen.

The media ran with the unfounded accusations like dogs run to eat their own vomit. There was no story, but they made it one. I argue that the media that set upon Herman should be as aggressive in exposing the secrets of Obama’s background. If exposed, how long would Obama remain president? Why aren’t the media exposing the kabuki theater of Rep. Darrell Issa’s hearings on Fast and Furious?

Herman Cain wasn’t from one of the Ivy League presidential mills, and he didn’t talk in choreographed political speak. He is a plainspoken individual with a vision for America that includes returning America to the people. Herman understands business and what it really takes to return the nation to profitability. But he was mocked from the moment he made his announcement to run. I should here note that Ronald Reagan was mocked and discounted for the very same reasons Herman was.

The bigots referenced him as nice, likable, but not having a chance to win. As he continued to be embraced by the people and surge in the polls, the bigots continued their bray that he couldn’t win.

I have an idea. Let’s put every one of the Fox News program hosts under the same scrutiny and standard applied to Herman, and see how long Fox News remains the equivalent of the “wholesome and fairness” cable channel.

It looks like Chrotain Amanpour is out and because of the success of George Stephanopoulos in forcing Herman Cain get out of the race he has been rewarded as the new host of ABC This Week. I never watch Sunday shows but I doubt this would be happening without Ginger White.

I am also a fan of Neil Cavuto’s show. He is tough but not rude like Bill O’Reilly. I notice that Herman is on Sean Hannity’s show tonight. Now he will grill him about endoring someone. I notice that some woman came forward about a sexual act that she performed on Newt Gingrich in the 70′s! Although the act happened 34 years ago, does that matter? But, whats important is that I don’t see that on the Drudge Report or The Blaze in Big Red Letters. Sean Hannity led his radio and TV show with scandalous headlines every night for 2 weeks about Herman Cain. I wonder if he will led his show tonight about Newt Gingrich?

So Herman is appearing on Hannity’s TV show tonight and the headline is “Who will Herman Cain endorse.” With the efforts made by so many television and some radio host to destroy this man, always sending a message of why he can’t win, why in the h*** would they care who he endorses? They aggressively worked to destroy this man and he should not give any of them the time of day. Moreover, I think Herman should get a show on CNN, home in Atlanta, and go up against either the 8pmer or the 9pmer to show his value. I do hope he would re-enters the race but I think that maybe wishful thinking!

As much as I like Herman Cain, I have to admit that I’m feeling the same way as Larry Elder right now…

“As with the four other women who made allegations of sexual harassment – two still unidentified – Cain denies ever having done ‘anything inappropriate.’ Then why quit the race? Quitting means five unmitigated liars – not just unmitigated liars but, as Cain suggests, coordinated liars – ran him out of Dodge. If the man who would be commander in chief abandons ship because a handful of liars said awful, unprovable things about him, the nation is better off without him trying to lead it.”

I almost feel like asking if there’s a “return” policy on the money I donated to his campaign. It’s one thing to donate money and have the candidate simply lose after giving it his best shot. But to donate money and have him simply quit over supposedly false accusations is another thing altogether…

To Larry Elder I would say, “umm, his family”? Remember, they’ve never been in politics before at this level.
I too gave money to his campaign and to be honest the money crossed my mind for a fleeting minute as well. Herman said he was going to stay active in this campaign in other ways. If he can further an agenda like his then he can keep the money and use to that end.

roger: I’ve been around politics and involved in politics for a long time…that said it is easy to be say what we would do or wouldn’t do when we are on the outside…and it is particularly difficult on the family…keep in mind Herman and his family are not politicians…they are outsiders who dared believe they could make a difference…many people buckle at the thought of being racist or uncle tom…think what it is like to be attacked 24 hrs a day 7 days a week…

      • Roger December 9, 2011 at 6:15 am #

        Mychal,

I can empathize with how difficult such a situation must have been for Herman and his family (and I would never enter politics for that very reason), but the fact still remains:

“If the man who would be commander in chief abandons ship because a handful of liars said awful, unprovable things about him, the nation is better off without him trying to lead it.”

I think Larry Elder has it completely right here. Herman must have known that politics is a low-down dirty game before he decided to run. He must have known that these types of attacks would come — especially since he had two women file sexual harassment charges against him in the past. His wife and family must have known as well. If he couldn’t handle this, then how in the world could he have handled a presidential campaign against the sitting president, who’s well versed in Chicago style political smear tactics? How could he have handled the pressure of being president when a major world crisis developed? I’m sorry, but it looks as if he was simply not ready for prime time — and it’s better we found that out now rather than later.

I didn’t believe the first women, and I didn’t believe the last. However, I was disappointed that he “helped” the White woman for so many years. Though it might have demonstrated he has a compassionate heart, it also shows he had a poor sense of judgement when it came to helping a woman. First, he did not tell his wife. Secondly, it went on far too long. I think White was using Cain as a sugar daddy. Yes, little Joey or Bobby, there are women who use men, in case you did not know this.
Anyway, my heart was saddened when he dropped out of the race, or suspended his campaign. Maybe he will be the dark horse that will reemerge when Newt and Mitt beat themselves out of the running for all their problems. If you know Cain personally, tell him for me, the Nation has been the looser here, not Cain.
        Keep up the good fight

amelia: it was a painful day to hear him step away…he was the only one who could have make a difference…but I respect his opinion and allow that maybe just maybe God had a different path for him…

        Mychal,

While I believe what you say is valid concerning some candidates, but Herman Cain ran for Senator, twice, in the State of Georgia. So I don’t buy this notion that he is an outsider. With all due respect Mychal, Mr. Cain was not an outsider and he knows about the dirty political game. This game is alive and operating in the State of Georgia. I think that when he campaigned for Senator in Georgia those accusation never surfaced so he thought it was safe to run for President. Now the question is was it really the accusations that caused him to leave the race or was his goal to increase name ID for a television show, a commentator position, or a television show? I know he was in the heat of fire but was that a reason to exit the race? When Mr. Cain was in the race I had no questions about his character. But, now I wonder if he who I thought he was or was it just a figment of my imagination.

elizabeth lovett: he didn’t need to go to those extremes for a show…

  4. Elizabeth Lovett December 7, 2011 at 5:36 pm #

Another fantastic article! This race is so boring and really uninspiring now that Herman Cain as exited the race. I am so angry with Mr. Cain for not pushing through this absurdness and standing up for his character and the people. If our soldiers can put their lives on the line everyday for this country, its beliefs, and principles then why couldn’t Mr. Cain do it for the people or for his grandchildren. Perhaps I am going through the process of letting go, moving from disappointment and sadness to now anger. But, who cares what those women say! Can we create a petition for him to return to the campaign? If Gloria Cain believes in him then we can certainly believe in him. I am not impressed with Newt because of the many positions that he has taken. Michelle Bachmann has no real solutions and if she does she cannot articulate them well. Rick Santorum reminds me of establishment Republicans because of his support of Arlan Spector, Ron Paul wants to legalize prostitution and drugs and lord only knows what else; Huntsman is a joke; while I was supporting Rick Perry when e entered the race he hhas proven to be incapable of communicating his own flat tax plan; and Mitt Romney is a flip flopper and entangled with Romney care but the question is can he be a good second choice to Herman Cain? I believe Mr. Cain’s name is still on the ballot in all States why can’t we vote for him anyway and he may have the possibility of winning that way. It would really be a Cain rising phenomena by the people! His supporters know what he stands for and his strategy and for those who don’t know go to his website.

I agree with your quote about fox news in saying, ”I have an idea. Let’s put every one of the Fox News program hosts under the same scrutiny and standard applied to Herman, and see how long Fox News remains the equivalent of the “wholesome and fairness” cable channel” That is a profound quote and very relevant. I know the 8pmer had sexual harassment charges against him some years ago because it went public. What is interesting is that with one host I believed to be fairly honest was so willing to overlook or ignore the evidence of indiscretions of Newt Gingrich. But, he really drilled Mr. Cain about the Ginger White story. He said, paraphrasing here, Herman you know I have known you for a long time and this it should be easy to produce airline tickets, hotel ticket, and etc., I am thinking are you serious! If this person made the accusation then burden of proof is on the accuser, not the person being accused. I read an article on another site where Ms. White is continuing to make unproven comments like, “while having sex with Cain: “What am I going to buy at the grocery store tomorrow?” That is absurd! Who cares what she was thinking because no one can prove thoughts. I can say Ron Paul raped me or any man raped me, but I don’t need proof first? We know the woman is delusional so why would anyone care what she thinks. Then Newt made a comment saying that, Callista Gingrich is not be like Gloria Cain.” Now, Mr. Cain is out of the race so what is the reason for using Mrs. Cain instead of Mrs. Romney who I don’t see on the trail with her husband.
