‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Holder Makes New Pitch For Government Gun Control

April 10, 2014

The old bromide, “You can’t fix stupid” is given new meaning when in reference to liberal Neo-Leninists. Eric Holder, who occupies the position of chief law enforcement officer in the land, is in reality dumber than a shoebox. Proof of same comes with his latest attempt to deny us our Second Amendment rights.

Holder wants to explore “common sense” gun reforms, which would include mandating legal gun owners wearing bracelets before they could activate their firearms. Hahaha, I mean, c’mon already. A bracelet to activate our firearms? Someone tell me how Holder plans on selling that foolhardy idea to the Bloods, Crips, Hell’s Angels, the Black Mafia in Philadelphia, the New Black Panther Party, the Black Disciples, the Irish mob, the Westies, the Mafia, La Raza Nation, MS-13, and hundreds of other gangs operating in America.

Holder says: “One of the things we learned when we were trying to pass those common sense reforms last year, Vice President Biden and I had a meeting with a group of technology people and talked about how guns can be made more safe by making them either through fingerprint identification, the gun talks to a bracelet that you might wear, how guns can be used only by the person who is lawfully in possession of the weapon.” Holder was referring to smart gun technology.

Holder continued: “It’s those kinds of things that I think we want to try to explore so that people have the ability to enjoy their Second Amendment rights, while at the same time decreasing the misuse of weapons that lead to the kinds of things we see on a daily basis, where people, kids especially, are struck down.” To which I would say “Gee, Eric, old boy, too bad you didn’t have some of that smart gun technology goin’ on when hundreds of people were being slaughtered because you put true assault weapons ( not semi-autos and replicas) in the hands of the most vicious cartels in Mexico.”

This idea is a joke and a charade that is intended to fulfill Obama’s stated mission to deny Americans their Constitutional right to own and bear arms. This is not about keeping people safe, that is simply the cloak it is being suggested under, it is about the deprivation of the Constitutional rights of legal law-abiding citizens.

Neo-Leninists and their liberal counterparts refuse to understand that legal, law-abiding gun owners are not the problem. Criminals are. And criminals by definition will always find ways to circumvent the law. Why isn’t Holder talking to Joe Biden about public drunkenness? Maybe he should go to the Scranton area and talk to the people who have seen Biden drunk as the proverbial skunk in the local bars.

Why isn’t Holder going after those involved in human trafficking of children and women? His kind are quick to vilify law-abiding gun owners, but his kind are the first ones to seek punishment of street level law-enforcement officers who do not treat hardened criminals with kid-gloves.

Do not be fooled into thinking said bracelet makes sense. It doesn’t. It is just one more cloaked attempt to deny citizenry our Constitutional rights under a thin veneer of deceit.
