‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

I didn’t watch the live coverage of “Romney-Obama One,” but the replays and post debate commentary vividly captured what had happened. Just as boxing aficionados suspected from day one that heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson might lose his “Iron” invincibility the first time he was forced to face a sustained diet of crisp jabs, so we observed last night what I have been saying from the beginning–Obama cannot stand up to a person who has a firm command of the facts and/or a person who is not in awe of him.

What happened last night is the reason Obama will not meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu–it’s because the Prime Minister “schooled” him publicly. Netanyahu spoke truth and facts and did not waver; in short, he confronted Obama’s penchant for saying a lot of nothing as just that.

That’s what Romney did last night, and it started from the moment they walked on stage. Obama entered the stage with his patented “mac-daddy, hip-hop, ghetto swagger” as Romney strode easily and confidently toward him. For all intents and purposes, the debate was over at that very moment. Obama knew he had entered the exam room hopelessly unprepared. And Obama knew something else as well. He knew that no amount of preparation was ever going to prepare him for these debates.

That’s, in part, because Obama is a Neo-Leninist, ergo, he is unable to share his philosophy and true feelings in a public forum such as last night. This wasn’t a problem his first time around because he didn’t have to explain himself. He was able to take advantage of an adoring and fawning media and the 97 percent who looked like Juan Williams who threw rose petals as he walked and shed tears of worship at his feet.

It also didn’t hurt that in his presidential debates with John McCain he was debating a person who had graduated fifth from the bottom of his graduating class at the Naval Academy. That’s right, McCain graduated 894th out of 899 Cadets in his graduating class and it showed (and it still does, for that matter). But in Romney, Obama was confronted by someone who had actually studied to get his Harvard Law Degree and Harvard Business Degree.

With few exceptions, most fights are won before the combatants ever set foot into the ring. Stepping into the ring is just an exercise to amuse and/or pleasure the masses. It was that way when Michael Spinks fought Mike Tyson. And it was that way with Romney-Obama One.

Obama’s statement that “It’s not where we’ve been but where we’re going,” was laughable. If he remotely believes that why is he still blaming Bush? His concluding statement asking to be reelected based on a promise to work really-really hard was pathetic. And why was he channeling Bill Clinton last night?

Which brings up another interesting point. Why was the man the media and Hollywood portray as the brightest and the most articulate–stumbling, fumbling, and channeling Bill Clinton? We’ve been led to believe that Obama was all superior–even though his record from day one proved otherwise.

Obama channeled Bill Clinton for cover. He was trying to say that he and Clinton are the same: that they think alike and share the same philosophy. The difference is that Clinton is a born politician (and I do not say that as a compliment), whereas, Obama is not.

Obama is a grade A fake–a charade. He is only comfortable in environments he controls or environments where he is fawned over and flattered as when he appears on “The View.” Which brings me to another observation and that is the reason Obama ducks world leaders like Netanyahu to instead appear on the Letterman Show, the aforementioned View, etc. It’s because he can dazzle them with shinola juxtaposed to facing difficult questions. It’s the reason he would rather campaign–it’s because he craves the cheers.

There was one more thing hampering Obama last night. That is his dissonance. He is forced into a state of confliction because he cannot say what he truly believes for the obvious reasons, chief of which is it’s easy for people to deny he is a Neo-Leninist when they are not confronted with him espousing same in a presidential debate forum.

Obama doesn’t believe in our Free-Market Capitalist system–he hates it with a passion. Remember the many times, including in the debate, that he has said “we tried that and it didn’t work”? Remember his telling business owners that they didn’t build their businesses and that someone else was responsible for the the success of their businesses? Does that sound like someone who embraces Free-Market Capitalism?

In December last year I wrote:
Speaking at Osawatomie High School in Osawatomie, Kansas, Obama said that “limited government” and “rugged individualism doesn’t work and has never worked.” He said that America must “look to a more activist government that taxes more, spends more and regulates more if they want to preserve the middle class.” (Obama Is Greater Threat Than KKK Or Al Qaeda; 12/7/11)

This is Obama’s true ideology and I believe it is why he stammers and stumbles choosing his words. It’s because he is articulating a philosophy that he doesn’t believe in or support when it comes to Capitalism and the people succeeding on individual merit. His view is one that believes in redistribution, and, specific to that point, he has not been shy in repeatedly making that point. He appears to be carefully choosing his words because he is trying to choose words that do not publicly reflect what he intrinsically believes.

Obama will be more animated, come equipped with more pithy myths, in the next debate. But I believe the emperor has been exposed. Though he will mount a valiant effort in the beginning, when confronted with facts and the truth of his own record he will fall like Sonny Listen in his second Ali fight.
