I’m Sick of Complaints About Slavery [Video]

I SAY GET OVER SLAVERY

Commonsense people understand that America ended slavery 152 years ago.  Yet groups like those at Columbia University complain as if slavery just ended this morning.

If these people are so concerned about slavery let them go to Muslim countries and tell the Muslims to end slavery.  Progressives foment acrimony and discord by infecting malleable minds with thoughts and feelings of inferiority based upon inculcated marginalization.

I say get over slavery and focus on the 17.3 million black babies that have been murdered by abortion.  Now that’s something to be upset about.  Subscribe to my YouTube Channel and share your thoughts.

First let me say, I’m a whitish guy of Italian and Irish descent. In the ’60’s my grandfather ran for Congress on a platform of equality. He was heavily involved with the NAACP. I even remember meeting MLK Jr. at a rally. He rubbed my little white butch cut head as he talked to my grandfather. In the 50+ years since, I have seen great strides in the right direction concerning race relations. I have also seen giant steps backwards. The latter usually supported by those mired in the self loathing and pity supported by the media. The longer they can keep the masses destabilized, the longer the masses will look to the government for solutions. This keeps them in a position of power. Scared, hungry, and misinformed people equal sheep. And so it goes, perpetuated by the very people who wish it over. Feeding the hate. I consider myself as colorblind. I have, and my family for generations has sympathized with the plight of black Americans. So tell me, am I a racist because some of my friends are black and I dont care. Am I to be lumped into the ball of other “whiteys”. Seems exactly what militant blacks are complaining about. I’m being “profiled” because I’m not black enough. So, slavery, please….. Come on now black America, aren’t there much more timely issues that need addressed. Like perhaps, why the first black president completely squandered an 8 year opportunity to do something positive for race relations. Or why you continue to kill each other. I’m sure you can think of some more positive band wagon to climb aboard.

This was to Roseann on Wed. LATE. didn’t get a response. Wanted to make sure you all had seen my musings. Thank You

    Roseann,

Thank you for your wonderful writings. The hypocrisy of the left
would be laughable, if the lamestream media was not so complicit
    in pushing the narrative.

Saw a story on the local news (Columbus, Ohio) of a Somali mother speaking
though an interpreter. She has been here since 07. She was afraid she would not EVER
get to see her daughter, or her Mother again, with the new rules. She had been in a refugee camp prior to that, for a number of years. I feel for the plight of these people.
From what I understand Columbus has the third largest Somali population in the world,
Maybe the largest outside of Somalia . She has been here near ten years, why can’t she speak english? What programs is she living off of? Perhaps she she has a job….. They were pushing the narrative that her daughter and mother couldn’t be terrorists. Why are they going to be barred from entering our country?

Again, thank you and Mychal for this platform, to allow
us regular Americans, many in “flyover” country a voice.

fixr: of course they fail to even consider sleeper cells…their illogic is that if the person is standing in front of you, working in your office, says hello to you, etc. they couldn’t be part of sleeper cell…because after all a muslim in sleeper cell wouldn’t do that…these people give all new meaning to retarded…I thank you for using The Daily Rant to voice your opinions and observations…it part of my goal to provide an environment where you can express and discuss issues without being called names or attacked by satan’s minions…common sense people are welcome here…

        Mychal ,

I should have clarified that that my question was sarcasm , about her relatives entering the country.

I will try to remember to denote next time. I knew the point I was making at the time, but did not come across as clear.

I’m assuming, as per your comments.

        Thank You again

Mychal — Another thoughtful rant. My ears perked up at the end when you cited what Booker T. Washington wrote. For years I have felt that God had the long term interests of the descendants of those slaves in view. Much like when the Jews were enslaved in Egypt for 450+ years (almost the same time frame as here in America) and much like when Joseph was sold by his brothers in to slavery, only to later be able to say “you meant it for evil but God meant it for good.” I don’t mean to diminish the awfulness of how the slaves were acquired. Rather, I mean to say that God is in control and just seeing black folks in churches in America on Sunday rather than in some godless state in Africa makes me appreciate His incredible plan of salvation.

doug: I agree…even the late Muhammad Ali said and I quote: “I sure am glad my people got on that boat”…

White liberals have been capitalizing upon the plight of dienfranchised blacks since the Civil Rights Movement and will not end their obsession with slavery and racism because it is such a profitable business! Most Blacks in Aamerica today are only more than satisfied with being labeled “victims” while being reminded daily by these leftist opportunists of how the “white man” is continually screwing them over! It affordes them the opportunity of not being held accountable for their own sinful behavior! If they and the rest of America would detach themselves away from their I-phone and plant their noses behind a book, they would be enlightened of some hard and provable facts pertaining to slavery. Including that this form of inhumane servitude was in fact established by the Muslims long before the British brought their anascestors upon the shores of America in the 17th century!

Some of us Yankees have great grandfathers
    who fought to end slavery.

How do SJWs figure we owe something further ?

    • Mychal Massie January 27, 2017 at 5:52 pm #

      chris long: great question…
