‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

It's Time To End Racial Assignations

February 17, 2015

I recall a little boy asking me; “Why there are no more dinosaurs?” When I responded, “Why do you think there are no more dinosaurs?” he replied, “Because there’s no place for them.” Whether or not you find the little boy’s joke funny, the depth of truth his joke contained is transpicuous.

Which brings me to another dinosaur we have run out of room for and it is the idea of racial assignations juxtaposed to being a nationality – which is exactly what is taking place in America today.

America was intended to be the great “melting pot” but for various nefarious reasons there are those fighting to prevent that from happening. America today is increasingly more of a blended nation. It is becoming increasingly more common for American families to be comprised of different nationalities and/or ethnicities.

[adsanity id=8405 align=alignleft /]Said being an undeniable fact, why are we supporting another form of apartheid? The word “apartheid” literally translated means “apart hood.” And again, I stress that is exactly what is being promoted in America today by racial assignations.

The idea of promoting racial assignation over nationality is a form of Gordian knot in the race rope calumniators are using to asphyxiate national unity and oneness.

If Obama is to be believed pursuant to who his biological father is, he is at best half-Kenyan and American. His children are an amalgam of ethnicities, so why is it necessary for them to be forced into recognizing one ethnicity to the exclusion of the other? Especially when simply being Americans would be all encompassing.

What about families like that of one of my personal friends? Why should his children have to decide which box to check – the one for black or the one for Hispanic?

In 2008, when I was recognized by the Conservative Party as the “Conservative Man of the Year”, they didn’t recognize me as the “Conservative black man of the year, my skin color played no part in the recognition.

There is an element that is working to retard modernity by compartmentalizing people according to skin color. But even here we must point out their intellectual dishonesty and moral cowardice.

During the 2008 presidential election Obama appeased those who questioned his being black by denying his Kenyan and white ancestry and adopting a phony identity acceptable to social Marxists.

We now hear that the 2020 census will include yet another racial assignation said being Arab-American. How many more color-coded boxes for purposes of racial assignation will be added? How long before America collapses under the weight of racial assignations? The reality is that the only box needed for Americans is one labeled “American.”

We are told that racial assignations are necessary for purposes of classification but the real question to be answered is, “Why are racial classifications necessary in America?”

The answer in part is because racial assignations empower the social-Marxists both in government and the public square. It allows them to dictate self-serving policies under the guise of serving the best interest of certain individuals based solely on the color of their skin. Which leads to the vilification and discrimination of others based on the color of their skin. Succinctly put, racial assignations do nothing more than entrench policy driven discrimination and foment racial discord.

What boxes will have to be created for individuals who are second, third, and fourth generation multiple ethnicities?

Not singularly, but certainly in large part, the proliferation and strict adherence to an inculcated form of racial stigmatizing is because of the bastardization of what the Civil Rights Act of 1964 truly intended.

The Erebusic programs born out of Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society initiative and the misguided race-based affirmative action legislation by Richard Nixon – virtually guaranteed racialist calumniators and social Marxists would use skin color to demagogue whatever policy was/is of interest to them.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 in brief reinforced that which was provided for in the Constitution despite the abrogation of same vis-a`-vis Jim Crow, etc. Said being that a person’s desire to live, eat, purchase, visit, attend school, ad nauseum was predicated upon their interest and financial capacity alone not their skin color, gender, or religion. It provided that a person could not be prevented the right to vote based on skin-color, gender, or religion.

Today we have generations of people who fallaciously believe that doors should be opened to them based solely on the color of their skin. Any question of their qualifications is believed to allow for racial bias based on skin color. However, what is ignored in that calculus is the fact that applying strict codes of racial preferences is even more egregious.

All said, America is becoming a melting pot by virtue of many of her people intermarrying. There is also an ever increasing number of young people co-mingling outside those of their skin color.

Taking these factors and more into account it is time for America to rid herself of the dinosaur of race-based assignations and become a nation of Americans not hyphenated Americans. Because as the little boy said, “There is no room” for it.[adsanity id=11817 align=alignleft /]
