Let’s Be Honest About Our Future – It’s Not Promising

Looking forward based on the zeitgeist of today there is no small amount of oratorical and ecclesiastical commentary, but I will still offer my thoughts pursuant to same.

My first thought is that those blacks crying that “they can’t get a break because of the color of their skin, they ain’t got no job, and the white man’s holding blacks down,” should do the following: shut up, stop making excuses, remove the racial blinders, and take a good look around them. As long as Fox News sanctions the raw racism of the Marxist-negress Jehmu Greene and gives credibility to the Sharptons and Jacksons–black people have no leg to stand on when it comes to the oft-voiced mantra “white racism.”

My second thought is that no one population group enjoys a more transpicuous double standard of overt racism than is permitted blacks. Black racism is endorsed by ignoring and denying it; malevolent anti-social behavior is encouraged vis-a`-vis identifying same as the resultant latent effect of white oppression, and self-segregation is celebrated.

Specific to those points, the cultural divide could be transmogrified into a colorblind and inclusive America, but a rabid Marxist-negress like Jehmu Greene doesn’t want that. Emblematic of her kind (think the Obamas and the Alinskyites), they need victims in order for them to brand others as oppressors; which in turn allows them to foment cries of injustice which allows them to define and then proscribe the remedy to end said oppression. For those like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, it enables them to live lifestyles that 99 percent of blacks cannot begin to imagine. For Fox News, it allows them to subvert and destabilize any hopes of a quick ending of racial animus and disharmony any time soon.

For all of the tax dollars and foolish theorization of how to teach children, public schools are best described as early breeding grounds for future radicals, the home of teachers who will go on strike at a moment’s notice, but the majority cannot teach their way out of a one-student class. Based on the students graduating from most public schools today it will be a very long time before American students enjoy the lofty positions of academic excellence that those of my generation enjoyed. Unless, of course, one counts the growing intrusion of homosexuality, child predators, and teacher-student sex as academic achievement.

My thoughts per what the future holds economically are simple. America and, in truth, most of the world, is doomed. The future will not be as we imagine. That said, I would be inclined to say, “There is not much chance of a future at all.” Europe is toppling under the weight of increased spending and socialist policies. America has slowly, but just as assuredly, come to accept the failed Euro-socialist programs. Obama, as he promised a select few he met with days before he was elected, is committed to fundamentally changing America into a Marxist state. The only difference between Europe and here is they readily admit they are socialists. Many people in America suffer under the illusion that we are still a representative republic.

We are approaching $17 trillion in debt, and regardless of what we hear, and what politicians say, there is no way out of it. We will be well on the way to $30 trillion in debt in the early 2020′s because neither Obama nor Romney has any intentions of making the kinds of spending cuts necessary to make even a hint of difference. The economics chickens are going to come home to roost and there is no way of stopping them. We can only print so much colored paper with dead-presidents, faces on it to allow for the illusion of things being under control. The uber-wealthy may be able to colonize elsewhere, but that won’t help you and me.

Finally, I believe that it isn’t the debaucherous lifestyles and reprobate practices that America embraces that has stripped America of her morality. It is the debate and defense pursuant to the value and normality of said behaviors that has stripped America of her morality. It’s reducing the existence of the Triune God to an intellectual debate based on an a priori or an a posteriori Santa Claus.

So let me sum it up. We have news entities that are supposed to be fair, balanced, and truthful doing their best to foment and support racial strife. We have children graduating today who are less prepared to advance the nation in whatever field of endeavor they choose than at any time in our history. We are broke, and spending is out of control. We have massive debt and those who have been elected to represent us, have no clue (and no intentions if they did), of how to reduce it. We would be unwise to believe the nation’s debt won’t double in the lifetime of our children. And we have committed our way unto corrupt men because, after all, why should people believe in and place faith in Him they cannot see, Who has established absolutes, and Whom it is easier to accept as a big Burl Ives somewhere in the sky.

Specific to the opening question, when I survey the zeitgeist of today, I see nothing that persuades me we are not living in the last days.

    Keep up the good work, your hard hitting commentaries ought to be published around the world! We are living in the Last of the last days and I believe that the Anti Christ is soon to be allowed to rule the world for 7 years…(The Great Tribulation Years), personally I believe that BHO is the forerunner of the AC, just look at the AC's characteristics and those of Obama! hubris tic, narcissistic, ego higher that the new Word Trade tower in Manhattan and a self proclaimed messiah, who wants to be worshiped and who wants to change our laws etc.

    Mychal, have you read The Harbinger? (I’m almost finished.) Perhaps we are in the End Times after all. Iran is trying to hasten it. We have turned from God and continue to everyday. I’m not an alarmist, but everything that is going on is very disconcerting.

  3. John McClain May 28, 2012 at 8:18 am #

    Hello Mychal, I’m going to jump out on a limb, and suggest something which seems to be ignored all the time and is a real spoiler. We came into this world as an odd, ungainly looking bunch of miss-fits, taking our rights by charging our government with crimes, something no government has ever lacked, but who ever did so before? Now many in how many centuries?
    Our singular way was determined by the streak of individual independence, fostered by life on the edge of wilderness, supported by the task each had ahead of them, and undaunted by the task of clearing, planting, and taking on all those business, all those responsibilities which must be fulfilled, for a society to grow and prosper.
    Every society which has a market, for some reason, always finds products to ban, whether alcohol or other, and inevitably, there have always been those who will supply such. The greater the effort to stamp what ever out, the higher the cost.
    While we have watched, our government has stripped away almost all the value of our money, and just gone forth with printing to increase their flexibility, while devaluing our money.
    When a rational, reasonable economy is maintained, money is the easiest means of transaction, however when money is constantly in flux, when it no longer serves us, we naturally turn to direct exchange, and barter where we can, not to beat the taxes, as we who do so are publicly charged, but because we have the full right to the value of our labor, and the actions of government in this are crimes, stealing from us, and reducing our quality of life.
    While this nation continues on this path, and while we have no control over the government, we will be ever less productive in revenue, and have to increase our practice of direct barter, and reach a point where we also evaluate things of value, and establish such, and start exchanging valuables, whether old coins, worth their weight in metal, silver and gold, or scrap iron and steel, depending on what we do for a living.
    While we do this, we continuously reduce the revenue taken in by the government, and they will call us thieves, cheats, particularly tax cheats, but these things are not true, until the day We, As A People, accept the discarding and destruction of our Constitution, it remains the Law of the Land, and it is The Law over Government.
    We don’t put people who ignore the law in a separate class from those who obey it, we label their actions for what they are, and while they remain people, we charge them with crimes and punish them according to the law.
    By the same premise, as our government demands revenue and accuses us of avoiding taxes,taking on ways and means which they call crime, because it involves exchange without a government foothold, when this occurs, it is time we step up to the microphone, and state, Our government refuses to obey the law. Those we elect act as if there is no law over them, and they steal from us by devaluing our money, by changing rules and regulations, without a change in the law, they use the bureaucracy to increase our costs, without ever representing our intent, and all these things are crimes against us.
    We must take their charges, lay out the fact that printing money devalues Our Money, and is stealing from us, illegally. We must accept every charge, as true, and turn it around, to show the government crime which fosters the change in habit, taken on to avoid being the victim of thievery.
    We, as people, have generally avoided the charges, as if they were not driven by crimes we can’t control, and as if they are not our right. We read every day of government stepping in to steal raw milk because some bureau has the temerity to tell Americans they can’t have a cow, milk it, and drink the milk.
    I don’t remember giving my consent for government to regulate milk in any form, do you? I don’t recall my assent on the central government using my money to block access to public lands by ranchers, whose use of such had so long both skillfully managed the land for assurance it would be there next year, to graze in, but also to provide for the lowest cost of operation, with their costs of production lowered by the mutual benefit their use of public land was, and we all benefited by lower beef prices.
    We are confronted by those same kids that tried to control the playground by bullying, when they were young. They never changed their ways, and they bully us today, by gaining access to party control, and use the parties to control who we are given as candidates, and who will be frozen out.
    None of us ever won on the playground by running away or backing off, if we overcame our “bully problem” it was always by confronting, facing, and offering up no less than we were offered. I’ve not known many bullies who like getting a beating, and few who even wish to be tested, but there are some. If we confront them, they will step up and meet the challenge, expecting that act to back us off, or they will back off. We cannot let them back off and back off ourselves, as we have grown accustomed, but must get in their face and move forward as they back off until we convince them to find another line of work.
    Bullies have no proper place except as laborers. Those who don’t back off show they are the worst kind, and they must be broken, morally, if they fail, physically if they choose to fight. If we lose, and they win, we simply have to pick another fight, and another, until they realise they have to beat up every one of us to win. It worked on my playground, fifty years ago, up to and including high school.
    We are those who did our work, learned for ourselves, and intended to work through our lives, enjoying the fruits of our labors. They are the ones who sat in the back of the room, copied off each other’s papers, got away with everything, lying for each other, and always with us as their intended victims, using the rule of law, and their crony lies to manipulate teachers (government/administration) who knew what was being done, but had to follow the law investigating, and being stymied by the supportive lies each told for others.
    We now know what they look like grown up. We only have to deal with them as we once did and we can easily overcome them. We have the chance of beating them back a bit when we show we hit back, and are not afraid of their threats.
    When the Priests of the temple confronted Jesus with the issue of taxes, he took a coin and held it up, looked at it, looked at the crowd, the priests, the temple, and God, and said, “render unto Ceasar, that which is Caesar’s, and unto God that which is God’s”.
    The law establishing congress to coin money and establish its value, as well as foreign currency relative, is what regulates what is “Caesar’s”, and it specifies coin of gold and silver.
    We do not get a dollar when we are handed the paper with a “1″ on it, that would be 371 grains of fine silver, as was established as “the United States dollar”. If we confront this bully, every single one of us on the playground, take our blows, our bloody lip, bruised nose, each of us, we are millions, while he is only thousands. When we choose to deal directly with each other and leave out government, we are choosing to hold the government to the rule of law, we are not withholding from it, anything it has legal claim to.
    The founders established excise taxes to be laid by congress on imported goods as the sole source of revenue for a constituted federal government. It was established for two reasons exactly: first, to defend our productivity against dumping, or against the use of third world labor to reduce the price, and undermine our own work, because the “free trade arrangement” which has replaced it, puts those who can own foreign factories at a distinct labor and tax advantage, and supports the country and government of production, and not our own. It provides incentive to import, rather than produce.
    The second reason, was specifically to limit the income the federal government could ever command, and put the weight of its costs on those who could afford commodities, as such were the primary import when excise taxes are properly used.
    We have been under attack because those in government have changed the rules without authority, and in doing so, have altered who pays for what, when that choice is not legally theirs to even contend with.
    We have a right to the fruits of our labor, and can assure it only with real money. We have the right to determine how our government is funded, and to what extent and degree. We did so, establishing exactly that, by establishing excise taxes as the sole revenue source for a lawful federal government. If we restore our rightful money, and rebuke congress for ever entering taxes not called for specifically, by us, by throwing out their statute they passed, without our consent, we take away their purse, and cut up their credit cards.
    To accomplish this, all that is necessary is that a Majority of us stand on the fact we have a fixed valued dollar, and it is criminal to print paper money. We have to stop accepting it, and demand what is ours rightfully.
    At the same time, we have to challenge the supposed passage of the national income tax amendment, with two bases, the first, the fact we, as A People, did not call upon our representatives to come out with an income tax, and we are Sovereign Citizens, and as such, it is only theirs at most to recomend, and solely ours to decide we wish for, desire, and will have a new law passed. No majority of Americans ever asked for an income tax, therefore its very suggestion is a violation of our founding principles.
    The real issue is just as it was in the school yard, we, individuals each with our own life, must each stand up and never back down, and stand on the law. It is the very least we can do for posterity, and not be part and parcel to theft of their wages and earnings.

    From your post a bit farther back Wakinyan, I have the same thoughts as you and your scenario is too logical and well thought out to be summarily dismissed. Hard as it is for me to believe, I think it could happen or at least attempted.
    Because I have the same concerns, I’ve asked ranking officers that I meet up with from time to time (the recent “Red Leg” reunion for example) their opinion of an attempted takeover and what the militaries reaction would be. I’m not talking to the generals and colonels playing politics but the officers that have and are actually where the rubber meets the road. The combat forces.
    To a man they believe that the military will defend the Constitution. When asked about a superior officer or commander in chief giving orders, with all military, they remind me that a soldier (airman, Marine, Navy) is not required to obey an unlawful order. They also remind me that our forces today are all volunteers and they therefore believe that as a whole, they are the most patriotic troops they’ve seen. And no force fights harder than those protecting their homeland. The Germans learned this when they invaded Russia in WW II. An attempted invasion of our borders would be suicide.
    Still, we’ve seen exactly what you say happen all over the world and I’m sure that the same things were said in other countries before it came time to walk the walk. I believe in the exceptionalism of the United States. Our intended government was envisioned to be unique in the world. That has been proven, not only on the battle field, but with charity, money, prayers and volunteers. With all its warts, no nation has ever attempted to be a force for good as ours.
    I believe in our country, its military and its citizens. Trying to take what we have away from us will cost any nation or nations a terrible price. I don’t know that what I say is fact but it is what I believe. And that gives me hope. I hope I’m right. I hope I won’t see it happen. But better the attempt be made, recognized and reacted to for what it is rather than the inch by inch toward socialism we see being attempted today. The supporters of the “Change and Hope” do not realize that what they gain if successful won’t be what we have today. Far from it.

    Amen Brother! I too believe today’s zietgeist is a disdain for Godliness. And my observations and experiences support this assertion. When looking at the many beliefs and divergent thinking of eschatology you might be led to believe Christ will return soon; you are not alone. A friend of mine was an emergency room doctor. Three years ago he and his family sold all they had, took out his retirement and traveled the United States teaching Christ and promoting a Biblical Diet (healthy eating) of the Seventh Day Adventist. He said that he felt the Lord was going to return in the near future. My sister (62 years old) told me last year she too felt the Lord would return before her death. Perhaps the Lord is stirring our hearts to have us fervently tell others the Good News. Many believe the time is all but fulfilled and soon the temple will be rebuilt and Christ will then return and begin pouring out his wrath. As Christians we must share our faith and trust in Him. “We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign (Revelation 11:17).

    An excellent post, Mychal. Sadly true. As we have stepped away from being a nation “under God” we have lost our moral compass. In so doing, our children are being taught to pay idolic homage to radical leaders rather then follow the faith of our fathers. And you are correct that the media feeds on hype. They need it and keeping the issue of white against black racism alive, sates that need and keeps those who perpetrate it, bathed in oppulent splendor. Yes, we are in the “end times”. I ask myself where the future engineers will come from? Where will the future scientists come from? We are fostering a generation of needers rather then leaders.

    Thank You All. I read Mr Massies articles everyday and enjoy them.
    I don’t remember a time when I have read such wonderful comments though. ALL have a keen sense of what we, as a nation under God, are facing at this very moment.
    I especially liked J-M suggestions of how to ‘start’ the removal of racist paperwork and end entitlement.
    Waykinyan, your words have made my heart hurt for us all including future generations. But has as well made me want to be brave enough to kick evil out of our nation.
    n holiway has shared a perfect video from Dr. Ron Paul. It shook me where I sit. I only wish some were not so numb in head and heart, to really understand this video.
    Thank You Mychal Massie for trying to put us all on course, when we feel we fail our brothers & sisters. All we can do is try our best and after that, God is in control. But try our best is all WE CAN DO. God direct us and lead us to do what you require from us. Amen

    Mychal, I have to agree with Johnny Smith. As long as a good portion of the people have an ovine attitude, we will not change things. The whites don’t want to appear racists. The blacks want their pound of flesh. The dictators in office want the goodies only their standard requires. The people will have to get off the pot because pissing time is over. The writing is on the wall and it say’s time is about up. I for one am not going to adopt the ovine attitude. I’ll not give up and I might go down but it will be fighting all the way.

  9. Wakinyan May 26, 2012 at 3:44 pm #

    You are right again! Now, here we are Mychal. There are many seriously coming to the conclusion that a military coup is going to be the only way out short of a general revolution that would literally rip the country apart and take many years to recover from, if we ever could. In some ways I am glad to be as old as I am but hate to see what is coming for my descendants and to be unable to stop it.

    My main concern about the military today is that so many of the top dogs have become so politically correct that it turns my stomach. Why does everyone seem to be petrified by this bozo in the White House and that includes almost the entire House, the Senate, and the judiciary? He should never have been allowed to run in the first place and should have been removed long before now. I remember the brief splash at the time of his election to the state senate and thinking how stupid of those people to elect an avowed communist. But the term ‘communist’ no longer has the stigma of evil it had years ago before the collapse of the USSR. Most of the younger people today don’t even remember the USSR.

    I have no doubt that God and the forces of good and light will ultimately reign supreme in the Universe but I also believe there are going to be some mighty rough times for the human race before that final victory comes to pass. I think it is true what one old feller said: “Ye ain’t seen nuthin’ yet.”

    There is “whistle blower” information coming to the surface from sources within the DHS and others that as the election approaches and it becomes questionable whether he can win, he and they are planning to stage an event that will set off massive civil disturbances that require a declaration of martial law and all that entails including suspension of Constitutional rights and the holding of elections. Something along the lines of Hitler’s Reichstag fire that he used as an excuse to seize total power and literally kill off his opposition by accusing them of treason and summarily executing them before most of the German people even knew what was happening.

    And now we learn he has signed yet another of his unconstitutional executive orders that in effect gives himself authority to declare martial law and let he and his czars have total control over all the necessities that keep our nation running on a daily basis: food production; all means of transportation and shipping; energy production and distribution; communications; and the list goes on and on, in peacetime or war if HE determines that we have a national emergency (even if he creates one himself). And yet another EO that as I understand it, would allow foreign troops under the guise of the UN to enter our country to quell civil disorder. If that is true it is obvious he does not believe he can count on U.S. military and police forces to back him up in a grab for total power. I have very little doubt that is where he is intentionally headed with all this.

    I suspect that those “inside the beltway” in our capitol have so isolated them selves from the heartbeat of America as they try to divide us and buy votes from various special interest groups including self-styled environmentalists and other vocal minorities, that they do not realize the scale of the conflagration they are on the verge of igniting or how destructive it would be. Few of them have ever been in combat or have even served in the military so I don’t think they have any real concept of the bond that exists between those that have been and the dedication we have to our oath. I also wonder how many of them realize that they would probably not survive by the time it is over or that if they were still living their circumstances would have been drastically altered and the power, luxury and perks they now take for granted would only be a misty memory.

    Credible? Who knows at this point? But we know for certain they will not willingly give up the power and privileges they have so far gotten away with abusing nor the furtherance of their Marxist/communist agenda and I do not think there is any limit on what will be attempted to keep that power. Stalin is reputed to have sarcastically said “It isn’t who votes that counts, it is who counts the votes.” and they have already given the contract to count the votes to a company in Spain that is controlled by George Soros. How blatant is that? And what are the great defenders of our rights on the other side of the isle doing about it? Nothing that I have heard or read gives any hope that they will even try. For them it seems to be just ho-hum, business as usual.

  14. sumitch May 26, 2012 at 12:37 pm #

    I’ll add a personal observation that is sure to irritate a goodly size slice of the population. I’ll preface by saying that I am a Christian and I personally could care less if you agree with me or not. That’s between me and God.
    More and more I’m hearing and seeing what I think is a convenient crutch for doing nothing. That is the “Believe in God” and he (or she if you want to pick nits) will make everything OK, which translates to making things the way I want them to be. I think it’s required that we do more than believe.
    A simple solution to just about every problem is found in the Bible, but would fit into almost any discussion, paper or book of “What’s the answer”. That is simply following the Ten Commandments. I’m not trying to be trite or state the obvious here, just saying what to me an obvious truth is. Other than “believe in me only”, who could possibly disagree with any of them and if they do, why? And if we (inclusive of all) followed that advice, what would we find to argue much less go to war over?
    The most ridiculous thing about it is that following them in no real problem. It’s easy. All you have to do is live your life without harming anyone else and they do the same. For some reason, that seems to be too much trouble for some. I’m not saying that I practice what I preach and have it down pat, but I do try.
    It’s required that we do more than believe, but we must believe. Somewhere it’s stated “God helps those that help themselves”. It really doesn’t matter where that comes from. And that doesn’t mean eating the last biscuit on the table.

      sumitch: actually as Christians we are under grace not the law…those are the words of our Savior…and the irony is that God helps those who cannot help themselves…

    We have to pick our battles and right now Jehmu Greene racism issue is not a major issue. It is to her. Whites have learned to shrug it off. We have been brainwashed the last 50 years to accept un/educated black racist comments. Blacks have been brain-washed to scream, yell, jump, cry, cheat, to do what-ever is necessary to better themselves – blacks hate being called names. Black groups get millions of dollars in free money to control black groups. In short-order; racism comments no longer are hot topics for the news. Whites have learned it’s blacks throwing a temper tantrum because they want attention. And 12% of the population will not control 88% of the media viewers advertisements.

    • Mychal May 29, 2012 at 11:56 pm #

      curtis: actually its not 12 percent controlling 88 percent…there are hispanics and asians as well as other population groups…which is why I say we must be about corrective thinking…it should also be noted that as I wrote several yrs ago and has been reported in last couple days there is about to be a changing of the largest population group…that said I say its time to adjust thinking across the board…the way you are expressing yourself one gets the feeling that there is repressed anger that borders on being released in ways that are antithetical to that which is healthy…we cannot respond in kind nor can we allow others to make us hate…we must be better than that as we fight or we fight to be like those we are against…

    Absolutely, right on correct! Anyone can achieve, even the so called disadvantaged, if they want to.

      ben: we all have the opportunity to take advantage of the opportunity that abounds here…

    Yes Mychal, I agree with Johnny Smith. I have a brain, but am the product of public school, AND a high school dropout. I can enumerate the myriad problems, but I can’t seem to figure out a solution. One of the things I would do is quit with the “ethnic” boxes to check. Then I would start weaning folks all over the world, off of the welfare system. You want what I have? Get a job. That’s how *I* did it! Has nothing to do with skin tone and everything to do with a work ethic and being polite. (Unfortunately with all the regulations it’s not that easy to just “get a job” any more, so now what?)

    Can you imagine the screams of outrage? It’s just to terrible to actually be colorblind. How else would people get preferential treatment and of course the welfare money? Disabusing people of the idea that white folks (or anybody actually working) OWE everybody everything they have worked for would also generate rioting in the streets.

    How would the welfare moms support all those children we paid her to have? I can barely afford one child, what would I do if I suddenly had to support 5 or 6? I don’t know. I was middle class until Obama came along and as much as I would have liked an heir and a spare, I can’t afford more.

    What happens in the Iraq, Syria, India, Egypt, Pakistan, Greece, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Mexico, Rwanda, Sudan, Congo, Zimbabwe, Costa Rica, Haiti, Puerto Rico, San Salvador, Brazil, Chile and all the other countless countries (hyperbole, there are app. 160 countries out of almost 200, living off of American largess) who have been the beneficiaries of our hard work when the dollars are cut off? Will we let them starve? Will we allow their more productive neighbors to invade them? We have a real problem.

      j-m: your first paragraph is spot on…I do not disagree w/ the rest of your comments either…

  18. Marilyn May 26, 2012 at 11:02 am #

    We must keep trying to over-come the double standard about races. Because – After America, there is no place to go. All Real color/race blind American Citizens know this. I have found that when whites and blacks and asians… have a medical condition in common, there isn’t any color to it. Discussions are about treatment and how we all get/got through illnesses. There must become a “common ground” where color has nothing to do with it. I’m not suggesting that a disease or medical condition must be present. One good common ground is over-all Faith in God. Is that asking too much?

    • Mychal May 30, 2012 at 12:14 am #

      marilyn: its not asking to much at all…Acts 17:26…

  19. RVD May 26, 2012 at 10:56 am #

    If the Bible does indeed predict the “end times”, then are we to believe that we are where we are destined to be at this time? And more importantly, are we to accept this? I defer to the “Serenity Prayer”:

    God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
    courage to change the things I can;
    and wisdom to know the difference.

    It goes on to say the following, but the first 3 lines above are what we should all be thinking about today…especially knowing what we are able to change vs what cannot be changed!

    Living one day at a time;
    Enjoying one moment at a time;
    Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
    Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it;
    Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will;
    That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him
    Forever in the next. Amen.

    I truly believe in “Divine interception”…..If we ask with our hearts, and it is His Will……..it will be! Otherwise, it is what we cannot change, and must accept as His Will!

      rvd: my friend I believe should He tarry we must continue at work in the fields until He either calls us home or returns for us…whichever happens first…

  20. Bill Sr. May 26, 2012 at 8:34 am #

    Mychal you have spoken truthfully and from the heart. I agree with you that though there are solutions which could resolve the major problems that are driving us off the cliff both economically and morally there is no resolve among our leadership to choose to martyr themselves in the name of returning liberty and decency to our beloved country. In fact we have no leadership which has not sold its soul to either political party, union affiliation, racism, radical and/or fundamentally changing our civil society and its founding documents and moral conscience. We have become a lost people who have wandered far from our hollowed home within the Republic which was a safe haven for generations of every ethnic group wishing to share the liberty and religious freedom it offered the world.
    As any devout Christian or truly observant student of history can see the entire world it seems is involved in the same death wish and racing to the edge of the same brink of collapse. It is rapidly becoming apparent that we have among us no one willing or capable of preventing the ultimate demolition of every moral standard or common sense approach to civility which produced our great nation by the mounting forces of evil and tyranny loosed today. Yet we must not for get that we ourselves were chosen for this time and are given the challenge to assist the One who can and will with the pain necessary for the cleansing provide a just and complete settlement to the worlds turmoil and the lament of the faithful. To that point I wish to offer your readers this measure of comfort for their spirits and contemplation by a man of renowned reflection.

      bill sr: well said my friend and on target…

  21. Tom May 26, 2012 at 8:30 am #

    Mychal:
    You have hit the nail on the proverbial head and, for what its worth, as a Ph.D therapist, I see only ‘driver’ of this situation, a ‘me first’ consciousness that has NO consciousness of responsibility beyond self-absorption.
    The very first ‘sin’ in the ‘Old-Testament’ (which the Left hates the idea of, since it ‘requires’ boundaries to be observed, i.e., the Commandments) is ‘Avoidance of Responsibility’ (why did you eat the apple? Not my fault).
    You aptly point out that the entire left and black community ‘avoids’ ANY necessity for ANY responsibility, other than the ‘responsibility’ for OTHERS to do what these malcontent irresponsibles scream that they should do in order to ‘rectify’ what ever so called ‘injustices’ that are their ’cause du jure’ that day is.
    The result of course is the intellectual (political correctness), moral and coming collapse, which of course the left wants (so that they can take power and ‘finish’ killing off any idea of a ‘God’ who puts ANY restrictions on their INSANE desire for TOTAL power over us.
    Dr. Jamie Glazov, in his book ‘United in Hate’ (the Left, which IS now the entire Demon-cratic party) totally supports any and every evil regime on earth. This IS what ‘moral’ people fight against.
    Obama and the left have created, with Soros’ money, an ‘evil force’ that has managed to silence any last ideas of a ‘free press’. It is as controlled as PRAVDA was (but LOL, PRAVDA now publishes the lies freely of Obama while our ‘press’ remains utterly mute, including ‘Faux’ news, which Patriots, including myself, are now fleeing in droves).
    Soros owns ‘SKYTL’ the Spanish based company that will count the 2012 election votes in many states AND WHICH WILL OFFER NO RECOUNT POSSIBILITIES. So much for ‘fair elections’.
    There is a basic truth to humanity and that is: ‘Consciousness ONLY changes via suffering’. We, like the ‘Ancient Mariner’, are ‘about to suffer much’ due to the demonic evil that IS the left.

    • Mychal May 30, 2012 at 12:23 am #

      tom: I agree w/ that which you have said…I add only that there is no longer a difference between democrats and most republicans only a matter of degree…

  22. Dennis McCutcheon May 26, 2012 at 8:18 am #

    Brother, once again you have added to my edification. I had to look up zeitgeist! Good editorial/rant. I too believe we are in the final days. If so we may not be able to change what is coming, but we can like John the Baptist, crying in the wilderness, preparing the World for His coming. Few will listen I fear, but in obedience to Him Who gave Life for us how can we do any less.
    Standing with you in faith in Jesus alone, Amen
    In Christ

      dennis mccutheon: my friend you and I are examples of what the grace of God can and will do if we commit our lives to Him…you and I have shared before so you know of what I speak…

  23. Johnny Smith May 26, 2012 at 7:27 am #

    Mr. Massie, while appreciate your honest appraisal of our current situation, I would like to see you write suggestions as to the solutions of solving them. I have the inclination to believe that you would be accurate in those as well. Do not give up and give in to the feeling that we are finished as a nation, continue to fight to return us to what we once were. The United States can ill afford to waste any such resource of clear thinking.

      johnny smith: I’m about to start doing just that my friend…but in a different format…
