Every day people ask me what they can do to make a difference. I hear from people saying they feel helpless, they ask me what they can do – well I have something you can do. It’s going to take approximately 15 minutes of your time and it will cost you about one dollar. First let me explain the reason for action.
A few weeks ago I wrote a syndicated column entitled “Why Is Michelle Obama So Tired.” (http://www.wnd.com/2012/02/why-is-michelle-obama-so-tired/) Last summer I wrote a syndicated column entitled “Nero In The White House.” (http://www.wnd.com/2011/08/331497/) Both of those columns dealt with the total disregard the Obamas have for the American citizens, and specifically the flamboyant diva lifestyle and contempt displayed by Michelle Obama.
Millions of jobs have been lost, and the jobs that could have been created were not because of Obama’s EPA and NLRB, and his defying a court order instructing him to reopen the Gulf for drilling. Increased fuel prices have increased every aspect of our daily lives from the price of groceries to clothing to being able to afford a modest vacation. Thanks to Obama, we have nearly 50 million people on food stamps, people have not only lost their life savings, but retirement accounts, and millions of homeowners have lost the equity in their homes. And I’m speaking of those who have been able to keep their homes.
Then just over a week ago, continuing their disgraceful disconnect with how difficult it is for the American people – they send their 13 year-old daughter to Mexico for spring break with 12 of her best friends and a 25 man secret service team, plus police support, presidential aircraft, helicopters, ground vehicles, logistical support, cooks, doctors, and additional support staff. The rest of Americans are warned about travel to Mexico, but it was okay for her.
Now, Michelle Obama has taken her daughters to Las Vegas on a “private family trip,” landing and unboarding all of the vehicles etc, so they could stop along the way to take a 10 car caravan to Mount Rushmore. Then it’s on to Vegas and off for California for her daughters to have a private meeting with musician Taylor Swift. Then Michelle is off to play presenter at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles. The Nickelodeon Awards is being used as cover to mask their continued spending and disregard. How many family vacations and private vacations do they need? If they wanted to go to Mount Rushmore, why didn’t they go there instead of going to Mexico and Vail? It’s insulting that they think we are too blind to see what they’re doing.
Folks this is a blind, i.e., a cover designed to shield them from ridicule. Their lives in the White House have been a three year taxpayer funded vacation. We, the taxpayers, have spent upwards of $100 million in total cost for their vacations, trips, shopping sprees, etc. If you are as outraged as I am by the Obamas shameless disregard for how hard the rest of us have it – if you are as outraged by the arrogant and “we’re better than you” attitude of the Obamas, then now is your chance to speak up.
I’m asking for you, and as many patriots as we can reach, to write the White House. That’s right, write the White House. Tell the Obamas that we are tired of their disregard for our difficulty, while they parade around at our expense, behaving like royalty. Tell them you’ve had enough of their over-the-top behavior as we struggle to fuel our vehicles, and put bread and cereal on our tables. Tell them that they were elected to serve, and that all they’ve done was make things worse – play golf, spend our money on lavish vacations and shopping sprees.
Now, listen carefully, what I’m going to say next is very important. Do not, I repeat, do not under any circumstances curse, threaten, or suggest hostility of any kind in any way, shape, or manner. It is important to write them because they ignore phone calls, faxes, and emails, but with a million envelopes – they may not respond, but the message will be clear that we have had it with their disrespect and disregard for us. Will you join me in telling them to stop spending our money? Tell them that they were elected to serve the country, not have a four year world vacation and golf tour.
The White House address is: 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, D.C. 20500. You might also consider sending a handwritten letter to your congress person. It is very difficult for them to ignore a few duffle bags of mail. Someone in their office will open and at least skim your mail because they will be afraid of ignoring a check in one of the envelopes.
This is a small step, but it’s a step that will get attention, even if the media ignores it. The question is do we really want to make our voices heard or do we want to continue complaining as we rely on our representatives who ignore us?

I am extremely upset…and tired…of what I have seen for the last five years ( inclusive time line for the campaign in 2007) Now, we must endure…if that will be possible…another four years. The every nagging thought comes to mind that the agenda— by his own orchestrations and his liberal/ socialist/ progressive supporters— is to keep him in after 2016 according to projections from many conservative experts. We watched 2016 and I fully expect to see many other violations and total disregard for our Constitution. We have just begun to see the spiral of destruction for America.

After reading your article writing a letter to To White House in regards to michelle obama I felt for the first time in three yrs a moment of satisfaction. My stomach is frequently in knots and nausea every time I hear about the latest vacation, party, concert with the White House being their entertainment hall. My letter has been sent as well as one to my congressman. Unfortunately my Governor is Mr. Patrick Duvall who is obama’s best-est buddy and this state is more of a mess then ever. How I wish we had a gentleman such as you in this area. I would do everything in my power to support that person in whatever manner possible. I pray that your words, bravery and strength reach out to other people in a position to have our voices heard.

Mr. Massie, I support your idea of letter writing. Aside from the things you write ONE of the biggest problems in this country is this debt. My gut tells me this country will collapse under the weight of the debt. Both parties are responsible. God help us!
You are correct. If we didn’t spend one more cent, kept income as it is today (no new government departments, employees, or programs), by 2021 we will be paying $1.4 TRILLION in just interest on the DEBT. That’s a lot of money that could go to education in this once great country. Taking it further with the same scenario – by 2046 all we will be able to do is pay the interest on the DEBT. No government, no services, nothing.
Currently, Obama’s 10 year plan will cause the DEBT to balloon to about $20 TRILLION or more. That means we will have double digit inflation, a dollar that is worth less than 50% of what it is now, and double digit interest rates. That will cause massive unemployment and an economic collapse probably worse than the Great Depression.

We are not tired per se but we refuse to tolerate the intolerable any longer. The Vietnam Era Veterans know what I mean as we have not yet even began the fight! I am weary of this fraud wind bag in chief pretending he knows a damned thing about energy, science, the economy, foreign affairs or how to change his underwear – but not too tired to out flank the SOB. I will never be tired never too tired when the sovereignty, might, greatness, liberties and freedoms that make our nation are at stake — I will write this prick being careful not to offend in any way and I will not call him Mr Obscumbo in this letter. My Reps Boxer and Feinstein DO respond to me but always with their opinion as to why they choose to act in the opposite fashion that I am writing them about. I can care less about their response – I want these creeps to write their resignations and Obama to report to Leavenworth!

Donna F does have a good point. Given the obamas sanctimonious attitude they really won`t care what we think. It will probably just make them more indignant and more determined to show us peons who`s boss. They`ll probably just take more vacations just to show us they can. But at least you`ll have the satisfaction of telling whoever does read the letters what you think. And they WILL get the message even though they will scoff at it. He wont care what we think because he thinks he has the election in the bag, he thinks he has bought enough votes with taxpayers money. But at least you`ll get the satisfaction of letting them know they haven`t bought your vote. Please write, and please vote like your life and freedom depended on it, because it does!

It doesn’t appear we will get replies and that is all right. As you said, at least someone will open to see if there are donations. The heap of letters should tell our elected officials that The People find the excessive spending totally unacceptable during these trying times. With any luck, Obama could be impeached by the time letters reach his Washington mailing address.

Mychal I am 61 year old US Army Veteran who served during Vietnam. I am completely appalled by the abomination who holds the highest office in this great Country! I have tried to discuss his outright attacks and treason (in my honest opinion) against the citizens of the United States and our Constitution with my Congressman Tom Cole. I am sick of omitting names for sake of exposure. I have called Senator Coles numbers at least 10 times, receiving a voice mail, and leaving messages for a call back. I’ve also written two very bold letters asking him what he is doing about these situations. All with NO reply!
Finally about 4 weeks ago I called and got one of his aides to return my call. To keep this as brief as possible, I was told in essence (my translation) that Obama has the floor of the House and Senate “sewn up” and there’s nothing anyone can do except vote him out. To me, that’s the same cop-out that we heard about the bombings in Vietnam. LBJ didn’t want the war to end, he was making too much money!
I would love to write a letter to Washington, however you and I both know it would be opened to look for money and then thrown unread into an incinerator. I’ve read (which I do NOT believe) according to CNN if the election was held today Obama would have a landslide victory.
Tell me Mr. Massie, how can the American public NOT see the Nazi Socialist person that is termed our President? How can anyone not see his narcissism and his controlling socialist agendas?
George Bush Jr.s administration in the first 3 years spent 8.1 billion. Obama’s first three years over 46 billion. How has he escaped the repercussions of even being an American natural-born citizen? Where is our Supreme Court? Does Elena Kagan control the SC now? Where are our REAL men, sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

I may be incorrect but I see only ONE way of correcting this massive problem: In November 2012 clean out the White House, including incumbents who support any socialistic agendas. Also demand new legislation and constitutional amendments which limit office terms to ONE term and a constitutional amendment which states that ANY laws passed applies to ALL US Citizens equally, including government officials. Being a Congressman or Senator is supposed to be a privilege not a career! It has become a travesty!!

I have called and called. Sometimes somebody answers the phone and sometimes not. The people who answer state that they are volunteers. I have e-mailed and I have written one letter, never answered. Course I was begging for a job so I wouldn’t lose my house… Too late now.
I hate to say it, with all this over the top talk about racism, slavery etc. but doesn’t it seem like Obama is our slave foreman? George Soros calls the shots about how he wants us slaves treated and the uppity foremen (Obama) cracks the whip. Even this health care bill, allegedly to keep us all healthy and PRODUCTIVE feels like what the slave owners did for their slaves. Nothing is ours, all belongs to our owners. Read history, owners have an interest in keeping their valuable slaves (human capital) healthy. Also, the glitch I see with everyone finally seeing what the Os are doing is the lies that the democrats perpetuate. Will they ever find out? I have spoken to some of my democratic friends and my mouth drops when I hear the things they believe. All I have seen the democratic media do is insult the republicans. If I were a democrat that along would make me vote Republican, but it seems to fuel the fire.

I never thought about being listed as a bad person for writing to the president but the way the “system” is working now, a drone will probably come into my house and wipe me out or Homeland Security-ICE will use one or two of the 450 million .40 hollow point bullets they just ordered and take me out. I, too, am probably listed because I have written about the Pipeline being halted. We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

I will write….not only to the Obama’s (a letter to each of them), with a cc to my Congressmen. I’ll also forward this to all my friends and family who also detest this entire Administration. Even though it won’t change their behavior, I think it will make, at least some of us, feel better about venting to the Obama’s. Mr Massie – this would be a great idea except for one thing: the Obamas do not care what we think. The problem is that they seem to truly believe that they are better than the rest of us and that they are entitled to their extravagant lifestyle at our expense. To suggest otherwise is considered ignorant at best, but “racist” is more likely the label du jour. Mr Obama constantly admonishes the country about “fairness” while his extended family galavants around the world and charges the expenses to the taxpayers. They could receive truckloads of mail every day for the next month and they would see it only as evidence of conservatives’ racism. The suggestion that they cut back on taxpayer-funded vacations would receive nothing more than his very practiced sneer, and would probably result in a press conference to ridicule, and admonish, those who thought that they might make a difference.
You make some valid points, but I agree with Cristel that two letters is better than one and a letter to my congressman as well puts him/her in an embarrasing position. As Mychal suggests, it’s worth a buck.
