‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

More Evidence That Demands an Answer

November 25, 2011

We are witness to one of the most unambiguous and blatantly intentional attempts to destroy a candidate I have witnessed in my political life. What Arlen Specter, Planned Parenthood, et al, did to prevent the nomination of Judge Robert Bork was only slightly less worst than what Planned Parenthood, the Democrat Party, and liberal special interest hate groups, with a complicit media attempted to do Clarence Thomas in an attempt to prevent his appointment to the High Court.

But what is being done to Herman Cain is even more contemptible. I want to thank Diane for forwarding me the information pursuant to Herman’s response on the Syria question in the most recent debate. This is not the first time Herman has been falsely maligned in reference to his response to a foreign policy question. You will recall I posted the full transcript of the lies, distortion, and misrepresentation of fact about Herman’s answering a question on Libya. My thanks to Rush Limbaugh for providing the transcript.

Below, I have also included complete and with attribution one of the most thorough and accurate detailed outlines of the Herman Cain accusers. Folks, who you vote for is your business, but the media, especially Fox News, has a responsibility to report the news and to report it factually and without bias. But, they have seen fit to abandon said responsibility. It is my intentions to expose the media for the frauds and liars they are, while keeping you informed.

I am a writer of opinion, ergo that is most often what I present – my opinion. But I am also a provider of fact, and it is important that I’m accurate in my presentation of same. If you are as outraged as I am by the biased and often outright untruthful reporting, I encourage you to rise up against the media leviathan that masquerades as integrity and truth. Read the following articles and ask why the media and political apparatchiks from both party’s are intent on destroying Herman Cain. Then decide if you are going to permit them to decide your canditorial choice. I suggest you also remind yourself, that even if you aren’t a Herman Cain supporter – if they do this to him, what are they will to do to your candidate?

Did Cain get it right on Syria’s Oil?
CAIN GOT SYRIA QUESTION RIGHT – INFORM DICK MORRIS
Did Cain get it right on Syria’s Oil?
23 Wednesday Nov 2011

Posted by Chris Anderson in Herman Cain, Politics

Last night, November 22, at the GOP Debate, Herman Cain suggested cutting off Syria’s oil exports as a way to target them economically. Immediately, he began receiving criticism, and the “uninformed” title continued.

According to the CIA World Factbook, in 2009 Syria exported 263,000 barrels of oil per day. At the 2009 average rate of $53.48 per barrel, that’s $14,065,240 per day. Given 365 days in a year, this comes to $5,133,812,600. Their total exports were $10.88 billion. So the media is trying to say that A: Syria has no oil, and B: taking away approximately 48% of a nation’s export income would do nothing?

Their entire GDP was $104 billion so it’s only 5% of GDP… but still…Cain isn’t stupid.

I am not an economics, or foreign policy expert, and do not claim to be, so someone please feel free to correct me. This is just my rough math after less than an hour of research.

*Update* According to the International Monetary Fund Monetary Fund, oil sales for 2010 were projected to generate $3.2 billion for the Syrian government and account for 25.1% of the state’s revenue.

On October 31, 2011, the Politico released a news story revealing sexual harassment accusations against GOP Front runner Herman Cain. Since then, the media has been a whirlwind of stories, half truths, facts, lies, etc. I thought I would take a minute to sit down and gather all the allegations I have heard, and where they stand at this point.

—–

Accuser #1:
Part of the original story, Accuser #1 claims through her attorney, Joel Bennett, “a series of inappropriate behaviors.” She was held to a confidentiality agreement by the National Restaurant Association. They agreed to allow her the freedom to tell her story, which she refused, and went away. Again, through her attorney, she confirmed “something” happened, but refused to say who she was, and what he did.

*UPDATE* NPR has confirmed Accuser #1 to be Karen Kraushaar, 55, communications director at the U.S. Treasury Department. But she still does not want to come forward publicly.

*UPDATE 2* AP reports Accuser #1 filed another complaint after leaving the NRA. They claim she “filed the complaint while working as a spokeswoman at the Immigration and Naturalization Service in the Justice Department in late 2002 or early 2003.” They also state, “Kraushaar initially demanded thousands of dollars in payment, a reinstatement of leave she used after the accident earlier in 2002, promotion on the federal pay scale and a one-year fellowship to Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.” Kraushaar told the AP she considered her employment complaint “relatively minor” and she later dropped it.

Accuser #2:
Also part of the original story, Accuser #2 came to some kind of settlement with the NRA. I so far have been unable to find any other information about this woman. She has not come forward. She has not gotten an attorney. And like the first woman, would be tied to a confidentiality agreement, which I assume they would lift as well, like with #1.

Accuser #3:
She told The Associated Press that Cain made sexually suggestive remarks or gestures about the same time that two co-workers had settled separate harassment complaints against him. She didn’t file a complaint, she didn’t come forward with her name or specific complaints. She did not get an attorney, and has since disappeared.

Accuser #4:
While the newest woman is being called Accuser #4, the media swept this nonsense under the rug. I only found short blurbs about Accuser #4, and her witness, who claim that she and Mr. Cain took a cab back to his apartment, and she woke up in his bed. It was shortly recanted that the witness did NOT see Mr. Cain get in the cab with her, and she woke up in his apartment, not in his bed. But again, no names, and no further information. No legal counsel. Another story that faded away, probably due to lack of credibility and proof.

Accuser #5 and #6:
I guess the media doesn’t want to acknowledge the silliness of the real story here. But, radio talk show host, Steve Deace, claimed that Mr. Cain “said things to both of my female staffers that at best are professionally awkward if not inappropriate over the last several months.” He refused at first to give details of what was said. Finally the truth was revealed. “Cain said, ‘Darling, do you mind doctoring my tea for me?’” Deace said. Deace told the Register last month that he believes Cain was talking about adding honey and lemon, but that it was an awkward moment. Can we truly call this Sexual Harassment?

Accuser #7:
While there is a lot more work to be done to get to the truth of this allegation, this is the first name and face we have. She immediately ran out and got a reputable attorney, Gloria Allred. At least she did not get one of those celebrity, attention hound attorneys, oh wait… Sharon Bialek, comes forward to say she lost her job with the Educational Fund attached to the NRA. She sought out Mr. Cain’s help for a job, or career advice. While they were alone in a vehicle, Mr. Cain reached up her skirt, and pushed her head down to his lap. Again, no witnesses. She didn’t file a complaint, or press charges. She told no one at the time any details, just that “something” happened. Then she sat on it for 14 years. I will save more “opinions” on this complaint for another time, because the allegations are still new. Mr. Cain is planning on holding a press conference this very afternoon to address this.

*UPDATE* A female co-worker of the Accuser states, “She [Bialek] was fired from her job, and her boyfriend suggested she contact Cain in hopes he could help her find employment.” In this particular incident she was fired for falsely accusing her boss of sexual harassment, a charge denied by co-workers, as well as being pretty much a pain in the ass to work with. “I remember her as a time-waster, and rabble-rouser. If she didn’t get her way she cried about sexual harassment”. A former co-worker, a female no less, emailed me. “She was trouble with a capital “T”.

Accuser #8:
After an event in Egypt for USAID, Donna Donella claims Mr. Cain asked to be set up for dinner with a “lovely young lady” who had asked a question during the event. He wanted to further explain his response, and discuss this issue. Mrs. Donella declined to set him up, so he invited her to dinner instead. Her friends, feeling “something was up” and went to dinner with them, where she says there was no inappropriate sexual behavior. She went on to say, “I couldn’t swear that he had some untoward intentions, but we all thought his tone was suspect and we didn’t feel comfortable putting him in touch with that woman.” Can we really call this a story? Now they are accusing him of something that even they say never happened?

*UPDATE* She no longer wants to be called an accuser. In an interview with The Washington Times-affiliated “America’s Morning News” radio program she said, “I want to make it very clear that Herman Cain never sexually harassed me, I’ve never accused Herman Cain of sexually harassing me.”

After all of this I find 1 story that even deserves scrutiny. Accusers 1-6 have no standing, and #8 is just laughable. Accuser #7 is the ONLY one to come forward with a detailed story worthy of further investigation. They have had no problem painting the picture of a habitual offender, they just seem to have a problem providing any actual proof or evidence.

Now, to begin my conspiracy theory…

I still find something very very fishy that all the “accusers revolve around the NRA. This man has been in business over 40 years.

Department of the Navy? No Accusers.

Coca-Cola? No Accusers.

Burger King? No Accusers.

Pillsbury? No Accusers.

Godfather’s Pizza? No Accusers.

Kansas City Fed? No Accusers?

Americans for Prosperity? No Accusers.

Radio Talk Show Host? No Accusers.

He was President of the NRA for only 3 years, 1996-1999. And so far NO allegations outside of that time? (Can we really count #8′s in 2002?)

What did Herman Cain get thrust into the spotlight for in the 90s? Going after Clinton and Hillarycare! So before or after, everyone has said Cain is the epitome of Integrity. But just so happens, while he’s going up against the Clintons, he becomes a sexual deviant?

I implore anyone to bring out proof. I say let the NRA release any and all documents attached to their settlements/agreements.

This country was based on INNOCENT until PROVEN Guilty. Just because Mr. Cain is in the spotlight running for high office does not change the rules. He’s entitled to the benefit of the doubt. I’ve heard the “drip drip” theories and “where there’s smoke there’s fire” comments. But take all of the ‘facts’ in this case to a court of law, heck put this evidence against yourself, and how would it look? We have no corroboration, no eyewitnesses, no police reports, and only one specific allegation of an incident 14 years ago.

If you don’t like Herman Cain, that is your right. Vote for someone else because you believe in their abilities to lead this Country, and their policies and stances. Attacking Herman Cain on baseless, nameless, tactless allegations, is gutter politics. We want to move America forward? Then we need to begin the change today. Let’s stop accepting the media and the government establishment’s attempts at getting the conversation off of the issues.

Take action and share this!
