MY DAILY RANT

MY DAILY RANT:
People are talking about weiner as being unfit to continue to hold his seat. I disagree, I don’t think he was fit to have been elected in first place, but hey, it’s new york – they’ve a history electing things that survived in the sewers under the city. But that’s not what I want to talk about. I want to talk about the society that accepts as victims the women involved. Not all of them were. I’m not prudish – I am unapologetic and intractable in my position that what a couple does is between them as long as it doesn’t break laws. But I gotta ask, what’s happened to the criticism of women? The randy oscar-meyer wasn’t exposing himself to men. He wasn’t holding a gun on them or blackmailing them. They knew he was in contact w/ other women, they knew he was engaged and/or married, they knew he was a representative. Some of them had children. I’m particularly offended by broussard. She is a lowlife piece of trash who believes she has increased her stock by showing up on television talking about her involvement w/ oscar. Has she thought about what her dghtr is going through? How long before boys and/or men start asking her to do what her mother did, assuming she’s old enough to have social networking account? Feminists would have you believe the lie that this represents a powerful “white” male who uses his position to intimidate powerless, weak women. Hogwash, women are about as powerless as kyptonite is harmless to superman and guys, if you don’t think so, try interacting w/ one who doesn’t want to be bothered. The bad life experiences of a few women led to the radical feminist movement, which led to women not elevating themselves, but not unlike radicalism has done for blacks, it reduced them to levels of commonality. The book “The Flipside of Feminism” by Suzanne Venker and Phyllis Schlafly is one of the most thorough easy to read exposes on what feminism has wrought for women that I have ever read. My point is this, condemning weiner is justified, but lets not forget the others involved. Because they’re not innocent either. Read Kay Hymowitz of the Manhattan Institute – she’s someone who doesn’t hate men because of a dysfunction family growing up or a bad adult relationship. Look ladies, you know yourselves better than most men will ever know you. Tell me I’m wrong. If you out of the clear blue were mysteriously contacted by some guy claiming to be a representative would you tell your spouse – I’m betting you would. I also betting you wouldn’t engage in behavior w/ someone outside of your relationships and you certainly wouldn’t want your children doing it. And I am also betting you wouldn’t engage in such behavior w/ some stranger even if you were single. Now ask yourself why you hold those principles and why these other women don’t.
