NDAA: Kiss Your Civil Rights Goodbye

ON DECEMBER 31st, 2011 – NEW YEAR’S EVE DAY, PRESIDENT B.O. sneakily–and almost silently, thanks to his government run mainstream media–signed into law a majority Democratic Congressional bill:
The NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT which is a more unConstitutional law than Bush’s “Patriot Act.”How our constitution is being hung to die

I have been browsing every conservative blog that I know and have yet to find any mention of this. . . .
HR 347 was signed into law by kingO in on March 8, 2012. You can confirm this at:

    http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d112:h.r.00347:

Unlike the 2000+ pages of his healthcare bill, HR347 is short and sweet. It only goes to prove that he doesn’t need redundancy and many words to deceive America or Congress!
The House passed the bill 388 to 3 and the Senate vote was a unanimous Yea.

If you think that this is not a significant piece of legislation that will impact our 1st Amendment rights, you better think again.

The interpretation of this law is totally in the hands of the Secret Service.

lynda h: I believe I wrote about this in a syndicated piece and/or talked about it in on-air interview…

Thanks for the heads-up! I am sorry that I missed that.
But you must have been the only one who mentioned it. Certainly none of the mainstream media felt it worth mentioning! My heart tells me that kingO is going after our Constitution, one Amendment at a time. And if he succeeds in Nov. and then gets his “amenable” Congress, we will see a lot of changes.
        Keep the truth coming!

    FUNDAMENTALLY TRANSFORMING AMERICA

2008: Senator Obama was nearly 17 minutes into his July 2 speech (yet another one where naming Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was required) in Colorado Springs, Colorado when he deviated from his pre-released script and performed without the teleprompter net saying,

“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

    Conclusion:
Obama intends to win this election by whatever means is necessary.

Bill, Do you not understand the fundamental differences between what the military and what a police force are for?

While this may have been “a majority Democratic Congressional bill:” (NDAA) if you look at WHO voted for it in Congress you’ll find that most of the GOP voted for it as well & were all in favor of giving Obama & future presidents this power used by all totalitarian dictators! It passed by a wide margin with few voting as Ron Paul did, against it. Paul even spoke out against it on the floor saying it was the “slippery slope” into dictatorship! Even the GOP house leader talked it up to his GOP followers! In my opinion anyone who voted for it , usually to get some “prime pork” for their district is anti American & has absolutely no regard for their fellow citizens who foolishly put them in the position of “looking out for them! Term limits should be put in place to rid ourselves of this cancer on society. 2 years is enough to serve but not enough to build the corrupt networks these career politicians have.

Bush was not a perfect President, I did not agree with some of his decisions. One thing I can say is he got us out of the slump after 9 11 and never, never wanted to fundementaly change our country. If Obama wins in November we will not believe what has happened to the U.S.. He may go so far as to give himself a life time position as head of the United States (or will it become the Ununited States?)

grandma of 6: I disagreed w/ a lot of what bush did…but there are no words for what obama has done…and is doing…

There are so many things that are horribly wrong with this POTUS and his entire administration that one hardly knows where to begin. This president and him minions have one thing in mind and that is the complete “change you can believe in” takeover of the US and its society. They will stop at nothing.

    • Mychal April 12, 2012 at 9:54 pm #

tony: as he told a small select group just days before he was elected he is about fundamentally changing the country…

  7. Jason L. April 12, 2012 at 4:35 pm #

That’s right Mychal! Scary ain’t it? Who put these lines in there Mychal? Which party were they from? What did POTUS B.O. say when he signed it and spoke afterwards?

    • Mychal April 12, 2012 at 10:18 pm #

jason l: what’s your point…that bush was responsible for patriot act…and if that is your point…then what…or are you unaware that as an apologetic conservative who has no tolerance for ignorance, fools or socialists…but then they’re generally all the same…I was one of bush’s supporters and one of his most outspoken critics…I supported the patriot act immediately following 9/11 but wanted strict sunset language in it…w/out that it opened the door for the over reaching threat that obama has now taken…bush plan may have been bad but obama has put it on steroids…
