As the editor of The Daily Rant, I rarely post a message to the readers, so I want to thank you for taking a few minutes to read this. The SCOTUS healthcare decision is today, and Mychal’s post will be forthcoming today based on the timing and content of SCOTUS‘ release. My message today is to share some more detail on the Obama Truth Squad attacks, and to thank those that have participated in it’s defense ( http://mychal-massie.com/Campaign/ ).
What is the Obama Truth Squad?
The ‘Obama Truth Team’ is an outreach of the Obama 2012 re-election campaign that urges supporters to “help fight back against the attacks on President Obama and his record” by reporting supposed misrepresentations and lies. However, as ABC News reported, the ‘Truth Team’ has mischaracterized legitimate criticism as smears in an effort to chill dissent against Obama. Why is The Daily Rant a target?
It’s obvious Mychal’s stinging criticism of the Obama administration and its handling of the Fast and Furious scandal has hit a raw nerve with the Obama camp.
The Attack
The left is notorious for being sneaky folks. Asking our web host to shut us down is a frontal assault, but the real danger is in the sneaks attacks. One example is taking Mychal’s writings and changing the content, sometimes just enough to change the meaning of his posts and paint him as puerile and racist. They then impersonate “fans” and send this doctored version around the web in an attempt to discredit Mychal.
Case in point: Mychal WND article “When Will Obama Crack In Public”. The ORIGINAL version is here on WND ( http://www.wnd.com/2011/04/288657/ ). The Obama Truth Squad version is here on Ann Coulter’s site, posted by a “fan” http://chat.anncoulter.com/phpBB3//viewtopic.php?f=2&t=116250&p=2648011
Can you see the difference? It’s not easy. First glance it seems they are doing Mychal a favor – until you get to the end of paragraph 2 where the Truth Squad added the line “In the 1950′s they called it acting NIGGER RICH”. Again, just enough to change the meaning of his posts and paint him as puerile and racist. This doctored letter has been making the rounds fairly quickly. Remember the Obama Truth Squad has hundreds of operatives working daily.
The Defense
Thanks to readers like you, we have been able to set up alternate means of hosting and to scour the web for these attacks and notify those websites that have been duped, the press and our readers. We are now preparing for a shutdown and move to a new secret server that may keep us safe from the Obamas..for a while. We could not do it without you.

Do you have any idea why the Social Security payments are being called a benefit payment? Is it because the lefties are trying to get people convincet it is like the EBT/Food Stamps program. If it is a benefit, why are they taxing it as earned income? We and our employers contributed to it that is why. If it gets lumped into the EBT a.k.a. Transfer Payments Group, it will be easier to convinc people it is OK to mess with it.

I do understand “judicial editing” and “covering one’s s$$” but Mr. Editor, you are fibbing to us. Mr Massie did, indeed, use the term “nigger rich” in his original rant. How do I know? Because I forwarded the link from the Daily Rant NOT another site to my sister-in-law and I am still having to put ointment on my rear. She took serious exception to the phrase and to make matters worse, when she proceeded to chew me out, she hit “reply all” instead of reply. I’m still trying to explain to friends who the shrieking banSidhe is. Now I feel just a bit like you are having me on.

The truth team need look no farther than Obama for attacking lies. If his mouth is open he is lying.
Mychal, I have no doubt that Jim is right. I’ve been saying for weeks that I believe this site is being mined and many others that even mention Obama’s name.
The NSA has more than enough equipment to watch the entire web and phone lines for all comments, good or bad. And there are government organizations that exist than we’ve never heard of and aren’t likely to that do the same.
Many of us have made our positions pretty clear. We stand for the Constitution and our nation as envisioned by the founding fathers. We read that there are millions just like us. Let’s hope that when and if it becomes necessary that it’s not all hot breath and chest pounding.
The big pity and shame is that our Congress, our Representatives have the power to stop this before it goes any further. And they refuse to act out of fear, cowardliness, stupidity, disbelief or some lame excuse that the United States cannot stand the world criticism for doing what our Constitution has made and expects us to do in cases such as this. Congress needs to act now, not wait until the election is over and conservatives win control as I think they expect. The danger of being wrong (Congress being wrong?) is far to great to wait and see what happens.
I wish we all had lamps to ride with in the dark when and if the time comes to warn others. Someone is going to be first. How will we know before it becomes too late for others? Those that oppose us would be wise to remember that we’ll be standing on our soil and fighting to keep it our soil.

The so called Truth Squad is not made up of honest, God fearing “folks” as Obama likes to affectionately call us all. You can expect lying and cheating from them.

Why is freedom of speech only okay for the left? The double standard in this country is sickening. Americans wake up and smell the roses before there are no more roses. Not only are we in a battle for our country but we are in a spiritual battle. But as a Christian I know who will have the victory.

Jim, as a long term supporter of Mychal, and completely in concert with his principles and his stance as a moral man who won’t let his Blackness be used, but has chosen to be an American, a “sovereign citizen”, and as so many others have done so, refuses to kowtow to anyone’s claims on his character, or claims on his skin, or even claims on his ancestors.
As a retired Marine, I took to him at my first reading of his work, simply because he reminds of of so many Marines I’ve had the honor of serving with.
I wanted to take this unique opportunity to thank you for providing the platform he has now, and giving him the kind of support to get his message out. The addition of Dan Bubalo only makes Mychal’s site more powerful, as the two men so obviously have so much in common with regard to principles.
As a Marine, it is a privilege and honor to see such support here at home, of the very principles which were the only purpose in my own ventures in the Corps – the first principles of our Republic.

jim, i would think there is plenty of evidence available to substantiate a federal lawsuit against these criminals. “conspiracy to deny civil rights” specifically the First Amendment, would make a newsworth case i would think.
