Obama should be impeached and indicted for Libya

Obama doesn’t walk on water and he isn’t a great military strategist, but you can bet both things will be said of him when (and more importantly if) Gaddafi surrenders or is murdered.

The talking points were issued sometime over the weekend and yesterday; this morning the Obama director of agitprop had his minions filling the airwaves hailing Obama as the magnificent. They told of how he had saved the day, prevented untold loss of life, and had all but singlehandedly (illegally invaded) and removed Qadhafi.

Well, the cartoon character Mighty Mouse was also heard to sing “here I come to save the day,” the difference no one contested that Mighty Mouse was a caped cartoon character. While there seems to be some 30% of the population that believes this cartoon character with oversized ears can really save the day.

During the debt ceiling talks he unbelievably (even for him), claimed one of the reasons he hadn’t been as active in the talks was because he was being president and was “back here involved with bin Laden.” If he was willing to claim something that preposterous we can only imagine how grand the lies of acclaim will be in this situation.

The truth, however, is a different story. The truth is that he should have been impeached and indicted for violating the War Powers Act in his invasion of Libya. But republicans were to busy trying to figure our how to roll over and have their taxpayer fat bellies rubbed by the media while plotting how to destroy the Tea Party.

Whether or not Bush lied about the reason for going to war, (and he didn’t), the fact is that even the ACLU, chastised Obama and threatened legal action against him for violating the War Powers Act, and specifically acknowledged in a public statement that Bush had acted properly, in accordance with the Act.

The most devout liberals and liberal blogs condemned his unilateral decision to waste taxpayer money at a this critical time, to satisfy his narcissistic megalomanic image of himself in his own eyes.

Following is a letter and official letter http://www.aclu.org/files/assets/Libya_Pres__Letter_5_20_11.pdf by the ACLU demanding he comply with Congressional authority, telling him he did not have to authority to act as he had. Dennis Kucinich with nine congressman filed suit in federal court calling the rationale for the invasion “an Orwellian war that is not a war.”

I say before we allow Obama to inflate his near nonexistent chest, and before his sycophants strew rose petals at his cloven feet – we impeach and indict him with his own words from a Boston Globe Q & A, December 20, 2007:

“2. In what circumstances, if any, would the president have constitutional authority to bomb Iran without seeking a use-of-force authorization from Congress? (Specifically, what about the strategic bombing of suspected nuclear sites — a situation that does not involve stopping an IMMINENT threat?)

The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation.

As Commander-in-Chief, the President does have a duty to protect and defend the United States. In instances of self-defense, the President would be within his constitutional authority to act before advising Congress or seeking its consent. History has shown us time and again, however, that military action is most successful when it is authorized and supported by the Legislative branch. It is always preferable to have the informed consent of Congress prior to any military action.

As for the specific question about bombing suspected nuclear sites, I recently introduced S.J. Res. 23, which states in part that “any offensive military action taken by the United States against Iran must be explicitly authorized by Congress.” The recent NIE tells us that Iran in 2003 halted its effort to design a nuclear weapon. While this does not mean that Iran is no longer a threat to the United States or its allies, it does give us time to conduct aggressive and principled personal diplomacy aimed at preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons.”

And then we need to boot out the Republicans who have found time to criticize Tea Party people, but who have not shown the same resolve to rid America of the man and woman determined to destroy it.

I’m an average American citizen but even I knew from the beginning that Obama wasn’t the uber intelligent person he was hailed by many to be. With a teleprompter he was a good orator…..that’s it. How do you think he got this grossly overstated reputation?

SuSu: if people can be convinced that homosexuality and abortion are good for America..how much would it take to convince people he was good for America…answer of course is not much…

You see, this the man who would be king. I think, somewhere in his narcissism, he has lapses when he forgets he`s not.
