OWS is wolf waiting to pounce

My late grandmom used to say: “the reason a wolf is a wolf, is because it’s a wolf, and just because it doesn’t bite you right away doesn’t make it any less of a wolf.” Her point, of course, is that a wolf’s purpose is too harm you. I think my wise and beloved sage’s words are applicable when considering Occupy Wall Street (OWS) protesters.

The news media, leftists, and politicians are tripping over themselves in attempts to cast OWS as having homogeneity to Tea Parties. And, it’s easy to understand their need to pawn a mobocratic movement that has for more than a month impeded traffic, overrun businesses in the area – using their rest rooms and facilities for their personal use, while driving paying customers away. It’s understandable they would want said comparison when local business owners are unable to have their merchandise delivered, cannot get their deliveries on time and/or are forced to pay significant increases for deliveries because of the increased difficulty to deliver. It’s understandable they want to have the public at large believe they are like the Tea Party, because if they can sell that idea no one will discuss the squalor, the stench, the tens of millions of dollars in police and security overtime, the tens of millions it was cost to clean their mess up, the cost of insurance pay-outs that will take place for personal injury, property damage, and the law suits that will arise for no other reason than because someone can make a fast buck – sure they want to be identified with peaceful, respectful, Tea Party groups who are concerned with the movement away from a Constitutional government and becoming a government by fiat run by out of control politicians.

The Tea Party groups are not demanding redistribution of wealth, free college, free healthcare, forced income parity, and the like. Tea Party people are quick to voice their love for country, not condemn it. So, it’s understandable why they want this mobocracy painted as patriotic.

OWS is a wolf and a wolf has but one purpose. Attempts are being made to lull the public to sleep and to deny the threat they represent. They have raised at present over $500,000 that we know about. Music mogul Russell Simmons, offered them $20,000 and they turned him down, because from what we understand there were conditions of responsibility associated with the donation.

OWS is a global group and they are planning their own constitutional convention July 4, 2012 in Philadelphia, PA. Anyone who does not recognize this group as a vicious, ravenous, wolf stalking the perimeter of our cities is either blind, part of OWS, or so smart that their stupid. The media and politicians have a propensity to buddy up to groups like this because it makes them feel chic and informed.

OWS is a dangerous group with hardcore socialism and anarchy at it’s core. I know the media thinks going down to where they’re squatting, makes them feel down the symbiotic. But, if I and others are right (and I’m positive we are), OWS has as much regard for the media as they do the bankers, it’s just that the media is more useful right now.

There is one more thing I point out and that is the open anti-semitism. Most of those who have animus toward Jewish people, accuse Jews of controlling banks, Wall Street, and Hollywood. I point that out to point out that every anarchist group needs a boogeyman and protesting financial institutions offers OWS two.

I liken them to two moments in celluloid, i.e., movies. In the Will Smith movie, Independence Day, the girl was warned to flee and not go to the roof of the skyscraper where the alien space saucer was hovering. She didn’t listen – she and hundreds of others went to the roof to party and cheer the alien – the last thing we see of her and them is the alien disintegrating them. The other moment I refer too is from the Twilight Zone episode titled, “To Serve Man.” Those who remember same get my point, those who don’t do a google search.

Mark my words, OWS is a wolf intending to do harm. They are comprised and controlled by the most extreme elements and they are waiting for the right moment to assault our way of life. Any group that believes you can legislate income and wealth parity, is the progeny of Lenin. And that kind of group has only one purpose – to attack and to destroy.

Focusing on and whining about what you don’t have is a sure formula for failure. Throw in envy, jealousy and bitterness and you have hopeless losers. That’s the OWS gang.

jared: let them go to schools they can afford…let them find work…let them look to themselves not continue to decry those who made something of themselves and demanding that others pay for their self subscribed to lack of industry…

Reminds me of the hippie protests during The Nam. Everyone thought that they were harmless; turned out that they influenced the public to turn on a war we were winning in the field. The consequences were traumatic for the South Vietnamesewhom we abandoned as we are preparing to do to the poor Iraqis, and did incalculable damage to our international image as a defender of freedom and champion of the little guy.

Does anyone in our country ever look at the bigger picture and the long term possible ramifications of our decisions? These spoiled punks could exert an influence far beyond their pissant numbers and incoherant message. The left does not look beyond the immediate influence of OWS and supports them only because they are anti-conservative. I will not go into detail regarding where this MIGHT go, but the possibilities are explosive.

At the moment considering moving to Costa Rica. Honest government, little interference in personal life, and economy under control. Sounds good to me.

dave: you are expressing the exact point I was making…costa rica ok, new zealand another…but my personal favorite and is neither…

“Ineptocracy (in-ep-to-cra-cy) – a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and
services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.” There you have it.

Marilyn: It sounds like our government and it stinks too. Michal has a very wise grandmother, wolfs pushing ignoramas. Misdirected protest, it should be at the W.H. and the stink too.

Mischa: Amen to that. How long would an “Occupy” last on the White House Lawn? Obama wouldn’t like that. Especially seeing the green grass turn to yellow spots. lol.

I think this sums up the hipocrisy of it all:
According to Forbes’ Celebrity 100 list for 2010, Oprah Winfrey earned $290 million. Even if her makeup person or cameraman earned $100,000, she earned thousands of times more than that. Is that fair? Among other celebrities earning hundreds or thousands of times more than the people who work with them are Tyler Perry ($130 million), Jerry Bruckheimer ($113 million), Lady Gaga ($90 million) and Howard Stern ($76 million). According to Forbes, the top 10 celebrities, excluding athletes, earned an average salary of a little more than $100 million in 2010.

According to The Wall Street Journal Survey of CEO Compensation (November 2010), Gregory Maffei, CEO of Liberty Media, earned $87 million, Oracle’s Lawrence Ellison ($68 million) and rounding out the top 10 CEOs was McKesson’s John Hammergren, earning $24 million. It turns out that the top 10 CEOs have an average salary of $43 million, which pales in comparison with America’s top 10 celebrities, who earn an average salary of $100 million.

When you recognize that celebrities earn salaries that are some multiples of CEO salaries, you have to ask: Why is it that rich CEOs are demonized and not celebrities?

dennis: it’s just one more example of complicit media spreading liberal lies like farmers spread manure…

    • Christina S October 25, 2011 at 10:15 pm #

And my question is HOW many of these celebrities pay taxes… OR is the rumor true that they don’t? I would love to know if there is a way to verify how much they pay in taxes.

Mychal you are right on as usual. I just keep thinking that a lot of idiots are going to weep and gnash their teeth when they get to the other side and realize how pathetic they were while here on earth?!

    Mychal:

Just took your advice and read “Darth Democrat.” I’ve made the same arguments from the time BHO first raised his evil head from the scum pond. In my youth slim creatures like him were handily spotted and dealt with. No so in our Fourth Estate impotence. Joe Goebbels would love all our media except Fox News. As to Chi town politics, in my time I served on AMA committees and met many folk from the Mayor’s Office. I learned by watching and listening just how corrupt the city and its bosses played politics. BHO is America’s worst enemy and only fools believe otherwise.

Jim: I don’t watch fox except for Neil Cavuto and occasionally Greta…I watch fox business channel…their programming from 5p eastern until 11p is outstanding…of course Varney at 9:15a is outstanding as well…fox news is like rino programming and intellectually insulting…

  8. Wakinyan October 22, 2011 at 1:59 pm #

You have called the right tune again Mychal. Anyone that refuses to see through the smoke and mirrors being presented by OWS is in for a very rude awakening. OWS is being willingly aided and abetted by the useful idiots in the media that will be tossed aside when no longer needed. The same goes for the politicians, celebrities, and all the others that are sucking up to them and ignoring their true colors that are so obvious to anyone willing to see.
Ginny, your observations are partially correct but these scumbags do not represent this entire generation. Thanks to an irresponsible media it may appear that way. Millions in this generation have volunteered to serve in all branches of our military in a time of war. They are doing a superb job and, amazingly, many keep re-enlisting or extending so they can continue to serve. Collectively they believe what they are doing is the right thing and they demonstrate their courage and dedication every single day. They are pretty much ignored by most outside of the military community of brothers and sisters in arms and their families. Politicians occasionally give lip service to respect and appreciation but their actions belie their words as they continue to undermine the whole structure.
This whole OWS thing is going to eventually bite hard when its handlers decide the time is ripe. A lot of folks are going to pay the price for being in denial of the true purpose and goal of destruction.

  9. Gary Thomsen October 22, 2011 at 1:12 pm #

I agree with you. If these people are unhappy with the excesses of Wall Street (and there certainly are excesses), then they should be picketing and demonstrating in front of the White House and Congress.
Sure, the money from Wall Street has bought a lot of politicians, but the only ways to change things are: term limits, political contributions only from individuals and return to Constitutional government in the USA.

    • Mychal October 22, 2011 at 2:55 pm #

gary thomsen: we are the term limits…when we start voting them out the first time they run afoul…we’ll better have their attention…

    Mr Massie,
I was flabergasted to see when TD Jakes came to the largest church in Amerca, Houston Texas. TD aired a tape where well known people remarked about how great they thought TD was. Anyhow, here in church comes Michele Obamas face unto the big screen. The wife and most likely advisor of the prez. The one who thru Israel Gods covenent people under the bus. The one who snubbed Netenyahu. The one who says quote “We are not a Christian Nation”.Many more issues etc etc.
TD was clearly in campaign 2012 mode for Barry. Im shocked and dissapointed with my church, with thier guest TD Jakes. Who I have liked for a long time. I wonder what Bible TD and his followers read, to support such a evil person such as b.h.o.
    Can you please explain this?
    Thank You

    • Mychal October 22, 2011 at 3:01 pm #

mary ann allen: their bible is the color of obama’s skin…it is unfortunate that people turned their backs on the word of God to support a liar and murderer…I encourage you to read my column “darth democrat” written in 2004 or 2005 (I forget)…I lay out why obama is a murderer in same…

          • fullcirclethinker October 24, 2011 at 11:25 am #

Mychal: Just went to your link and read your article titled “Darth Democrat”. Unfortunately, we didn’t listen and here we are! In addition, so much more information has surfaced about Hussein but many still refuse to listen. As any follower of Islam worth their salt knows: Cloaking your true intentions in words that deceive the listener is considered honorable and pleasing to Allah. This is exactly what Hussein has done and your article exposing this truth proves the point. It will take nothing short of a miracle to unseat this traitor to our nation. But, the One True God of the Bible is in the miracle business, even today!! Let us pray that our collective eyes and hearts will be unveiled before it is too late!!

What a terrible waste of time and effort. Just to think this country has spawned such a generation of freeloaders. They waste all just to carry signs and protest. They chant, rave and bite at the very hand that feeds them. They could at least be calling for a return to the constitutional form of government, downsized government, balanced budget and so forth. They want to be the new tea party? Not a chance. Such a waste.

    • Mychal October 22, 2011 at 3:12 pm #

Ginny: they represent the soiled reasoning of obama et al born out of the confused, misguided, and purposefully fallacious academic theorizations of anarchist professors…they believe all wisdom lies w/ them…when in reality they are the most ignorant of the ignorant who will continue to attempt to secure philosophies that have failed the world over every time and place same have been tried…
