There have been Baptists calling for Hollywood to produce programming fit for family consumption – but I cannot point to Baptists calling for Hollywood to be destroyed because it is comprised of Jews and infidels.
There exist doctrinal differences between Wesleyans, Nazarenes and charismatics – most notably on the subject of glossolalia – but I have never heard these groups refer to one another as infidels or call for annihilation. But true followers of Islam cannot make that claim.

I cannot think of any practicing Catholics I know who would be overjoyed if their daughter married an unrepentant atheist. But I am unwaveringly confident that their priest would not call for her to be stabbed or axed to death for having brought dishonor to the family. Yet, as WorldNetDaily reported in April, that is exactly what a Muslim Jordanian man did to his 8-months pregnant sister. And a Muslim Kurd murdered his 16-year-old daughter for starting a relationship with a Lebanese Christian boy in September 2003.
WND further reported “an anthropologist’s study said dozens and probably hundreds of brutal ‘honor killings’ of Palestinian women and girls … annually go unreported.” Such occurrences have taken place in the United States. Some may try to dismiss or argue away these examples as anecdotal, but they are anything but.
The recent beheading of Nick Berg sickened us, but this act was practiced and sanctioned by Muhammad himself.
In an article published by Barnabas Fund on May 14, “Hundreds of Christians die in bloody massacres in Kano,” the Christian Association of Nigeria reported Muslim rioters had murdered 600-plus Christians and burned 12 Christian churches in one night. Pregnant women were “ripped open and their bodies burned.”
In Jersey City and Newark, N.J., it wasn’t Mennonites or Methodists who celebrated in the streets as 3,000-plus Americans (Muslims included) were murdered.
Every morning of every day we read and hear of atrocities committed by fanatical Muslims. Christians are commonly politicized as being hardcore and fanatical; but decapitation is not Christian theology.
Many Muslims in this country may be peaceful, but apart from the radical activities of groups like the Council on American-Islamic Relations, I’ve not heard a cacophony of their voices. But we should. After all it wasn’t Mormons standing on a bridge in Fallujah shouting Allahu Akbar (God is great) while the remains of innocent mutilated Americans burned.

I have been apalled by the blindness towards what Barack Obama actually stands for since he bagan his run for the Presidency of the United States. He has a thinly veiled hatred for Americans and can barely conceal his love for all things Muslim.
But, when I watch these uprisings on television or see pictures in the paper, I always wonder, where do these America-hating groups in locations all over the world get all of these American flags that they burn? Are there street vendors who sell American flags at each uprising, for those who came unprepared? Or do they constantly carry American flags with them just in case there is a reason to set it on fire to make a point?
It must be exhausting to constantly look for reasons to spread hate.
On a serious note, my constant prayers are that voters see the light before election day and vote to preserve the democracy of this country and shut the door that was opened to socialism 4 years ago.
I doubt if the YouTube film had anything to do with the asassination of out ambassador and the esuing riots in Libya. This was planned out to coincide with the anniversary of9/11. I’m sick of hearing Ostupid and Hillary decrying the depiction of the Muslim religion. Where is the outcry from them when Christianity is denegrated? When Bill Maher and his foul mouth can spew all kinds of hatred toward priests, rabbis, anyone who believes in God. Ostupid and Hillary do not respect all religions as they purport to. Agree totally, Mychal. I never have had much respect for Mid East countries and their barbaric ways. I knew/know the U.S. was pumping our money into those countries and was not enthrawled with that. The bucks stopped at the Dictators’ desks while their people lived in poverty. I knew that most Mid East countries had kangaroo courts and used their Quarans to dictate who would be murdered and who would only have their hands or feet or tongue removed. A military friend told of his tour in Saudi Arabia (early 1960′s). He took one day to visit a city and was pushed into a circle of people – not knowing what to expect. Then, he witnessed the most brutal thing he had ever seen. In the middle of the circle of people was a woman on her knees with hands tied behind her back. A swordsman jumped and circled her waving his sword in the air while some jibberish was yelled from somewhere. Within minutes the swordsman depacitated the young woman. Most of the crowd cheered. My friend regurgitated right there. Supposedly, the woman had committed adulty but was not proven in the Muslim kangaroo court system. He saw hands hanging in “doorways” and knew that whomever these hands belonged had taken something that didn’t belong to them. The rules and laws of Mid Eastern countries are foreign to we Americans. Yet, the Puritans had somewhat the same rules and laws. Americans have come a long way to becoming civilized – From Out of The Dark Ages! Lincoln supposedly freed the black slaves but he didn’t free the white slaves – they freed themselves at the risk of life and limb. Some blacks did the same! If a Muslim is an American Citizen, converted to Christian beliefs, God Help Them. The Muslims who have no idea what Freedom of Religion is all about will never understand the American Dream.
With all due respect Marilyn, perhaps you have been reading too much Nathaniel Hawthorne and Arthur Miller. The Puritans were not a violent mob of evil thugs decapitating women in the public square and dismembering those who committed minor crimes of theft. The were a Godly people who, following their own ghastly persecution in England, risked everything to arrive in America seeking religious freedom. They and their descendants founded colleges and universities including the first college in the world devoted to the education of women. They founded churches wherever they went and established mission work among Native American tribes. Many signers of the Declaration of Independence were clergymen. Those men risked their fortunes, lives, and sacred honor along with signers engaged in secular lives.
There is absolutely no relationship between the barbarians who follow Islam and the followers Christ.

I am guessing that Hillary gets a lot of whispering in the ear by Huma Abedin (Mrs. Anthony Weiner), who has been a trusted member of her staff for many years. Ms. Abedin’s family is VERY closely allied with the Muslim Brotherhood. It’s a fact. How this woman got security clearance in order to serve Hillary is one of the greatest mysteries out there.

Having lived a few years in a secular/muslim country, if there really is such a thing, I can say this by observation; there appear to be some really nice, reasonable muslims. I remember a doctor saying about Ramadan,”We are 600 years behind the rest of the world, and every year we get one month farther behind.” The quran says it is alright to be dishonest to pagans. If they live in a pagan country, they are to appear to be good, law-abiding citizens —until there are sufficient number of muslims to start promoting sharia law and then they are to overthrow and conquer the host nation. So, talking about reasonable, moderate muslims in the USA is pointless; how reasonable are they in cities where they have a sufficient population to really cause trouble? How much power and influence do moderate muslims have in muslim ruled countries? If the world court in the Hague wants to do something really meaningful, warrants for arrest of all mullahs preaching hate should be issued. Lots of luck with that one. Cut off foreign aid to all muslim nations now!
Gary, I’m sure there are good honest law abiding Muslims living here, but that doesn’t justify the crime and trouble that some of the others have done and are doing. Not all Italians were Al Capone, but he was still a criminal.
If it is as you say from personal experience that Muslims will liein the bushes and play nice until they are strong enough to promote Sharia law and take over the city or this country then we should take action for the slightest infraction of our laws and our society norma by them.
Maybe some others have seen the email in past circulations of Muslims kneeling outside at prayer (I assume) and blocking a city street just outside of their mosque. There is no reason for them to do this other than cause “in your face” trouble.
Being as you say, the mayor of that city should send every available police office with full riot gear and arrest and jail every one of them with appropriate bail due and payable or extended jail time. Sure this will cause problems with other Muslims who will probably fall out in the street and start their hate filled screaming and flag burning and worse. At that point the governor should call in the National Guard and arrest more or handle the problem in whatever method is necessary to enforce our laws and maintain the peace.
Stop the problem at the onset rather than having to try to stop it after letting it go unpunished for any length of time. They will probably try to hide behind our protected freedom of religion, but our laws do not protect law breakers in the guise of religion.
