‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Reid And Republicans Call Patriotism Terrorism

April 22, 2014

If you want to know just what both political parties think of We the People – take a look at the Bundy Ranch situation. If you want to know what kind of leadership we have in our country today – take a look at the Bundy Ranch situation.

Liberal Democrats such as Harry Reid called the Bundy family and those of us who support them “domestic terrorists.” But as usual, Reid and his ilk have suspiciously selective memories; and people in glass houses, as the saying goes, should not throw stones.

When Reid speaks of domestic terrorists and involvement with same he need look no further than those in his party. Let’s start with pernicious flower he calls the leader of his party. Does Reid want us to forget that Obama’s good friend, confidant, and ghost writer of his books “Dreams From My Father” and Obama’s memoirs is none other than Bill Ayers? That’s Bill Ayers the avowed communist and leader of the domestic terrorist group Students for a Democratic Society who went on to co-found the Weather Underground, a self-described communist revolutionary group that planned and carried out a campaign of bombings of police stations, and government and public buildings through the 1960s into the 1970s.

[adsanity id=8405 align=alignleft /]Does Reid want us to forget that Obama’s good friend Bill Ayers openly lamented, while Obama was in office that his only regret was his bombings did not cause more harm and destruction? Would Reid have us forget that the wife of Obama’s good buddy William Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, was a hunted fugitive on the FBI Ten Most Wanted List for her role in a bombing that resulted in the murder of a police officer? Would Reid have us forget that Bill Ayers, the good friend and financial supporter of his president, co-authored a book in 1973 titled Prairie Fire which was dedicated to, among others, Sirhan Sirhan the domestic terrorist who assassinated Robert Kennedy?

Do We the People who support the Bundy family descend to that level of behavior? Absolutely not.

As long as Harry Reid is accusing those of us who support the rights of the Bundy family against a tyrannical government, let’s look at the domestic terrorist who Reid’s president appointed as Attorney General. Would Reid have us forget that while in college Eric Holder participated in the armed takeover of the Columbia University Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) as one of the leaders of the Student Afro-American Society (SAAS); a militant black group that advocated violence and killing? And as long as Reid wants to accuse We the People of being domestic terrorists, what should we call his long rumored involvement pursuant to providing legislative favors for organized crime in Nevada after allegedly finding himself in explosively serious trouble?

And what about the other groups that advocate anarchy and violence that are umbilically connected to the Democrat Party such as the Occupy Wall Street group and the violent groups that comprise various terrorist environmental groups?

I referenced a lack of leadership during this desperate time. Where was Obama? If he had a son couldn’t he have looked like Cliven Bundy or Bundy’s son whom the condemnable Bureau of Land Management (BLM) jackbooted thugs tasered? Weren’t the Bundys black enough for Obama to call the BLM jackboots “stupid” as he called the police in Cambridge, Massachusetts when he disapproved of the way the Cambridge police rightly went about doing their job in the situation involving Louis Gates?

Speaking of leadership, where were the Republicans who claim to be the champions of We the People? Where was the illegal-alien-criminals-loving Jeb Bush? Wasn’t We the People defending the Bundy family an “act of love”? Or does Jeb Bush only view “acts of love” as those that are taking place when illegal aliens violate our sovereign laws by invading our borders?

Where were Rove, Preibus, Boehner, McCain, Cornyn, Cantor, McConnell and the rest of the feckless demimonde who would sell their souls to retain power?

[adsanity id=8405 align=alignleft /]The Republicans chose to ignore a key moment that they could have used to show forth their commitment to We the People. Instead, the silence coming from them was/is deafening. The Republicans could have defended the rights of We the People as Rove et al. now want to defend the right to abortion and homosexual marriage. Republicans under Rove and Jeb Bush support obamcare and the continued expansion of government, but they were nowhere to be seen or heard when it came to a family and We the People defending our home, property, and livelihood against jackbooted thugs with government insignias on their uniforms.

I can assure you that if I were in office or running for office I would have taken my entire team to the Bundy Ranch and dared BLM to attempt to further harass the family. I can assure you that if I were in office I would have demanded BLM cease and desist their unconscionable harassment of American working families. It’s time we had leaders with steel rods for spines. It is time we had a leader we can trust to protect our interest.

But we were left to fend for ourselves and for one another. And that we did. Now we are called domestic terrorists. Well, if we are domestic terrorists, what were Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King? After all, Parks broke segregation laws of that time, and King led marches and boycotts which effectively crippled the bus and transportation industry. If we are domestic terrorists, what were they?

Let them call us what they will in their transpicuous attempt to villainize us, but we reserve the right to protect our property, our livelihood, our industry, and our brothers and sisters when they are threatened by an out-of-control government and so-called representatives who are only interested in their personal gain at our expense.[adsanity id=11817 align=alignleft /]
