The other Saturday evening Eric Michael Dyson sat down with boxing champion Floyd Mayweather. Let me very quickly say that I like Mayweather as a boxer. I know there are people who condemn him and call him a loudmouth, etc., but those are the people who look at the exterior of the man and fail [...]

We’re Off to See the Wizard
There was a time when presidents flew Air Force One to places like Santa Barbara, Midland, and Kennebunkport, or used Marine One to visit Camp David or reach San Clemente. Based upon the stupefying budget numbers finally dribbled out to the public last week, however, it would appear that Mr. Obama was never vacationing in [...]
The Reality Distortion Field
Reality Distortion Field (RDF) is a phrase sometimes connected to Star Trek but more commonly attributed to Steve Jobs and the early days at Apple Computer wherein he was known for his endless optimism and charisma, and for motivating co-workers to think creatively to achieve that which was deemed impossible. The nation is in financial free-fall while congress and Obama are grandstanding and pontificating as if that will solve things. The thing that has become [...]
