‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Update from Venezuela – April 21, 2014

April 22, 2014

Following is the most recent update I received from my contact in Venezuela. We must support the people there in what ever ways we can. It is important to remember that they are fighting against the very thing that the federal government is attempting to do to us here. The letter is unedited, shared as received.

Mychal, thanks for your continued interest. Right now we have just ended the week of Samana Santa, (Holy Week) in celebration of Christ. Unfortunately, the protests have only continued to escalate. Last night here on the island as well as all over the country there were religious ceremonies in conjunction with Easter, which included effigy burnings of this president and various members of his party. This was in retaliation of a militia attack of a large group celebrating Christ and his days of suffering with crosses and various religious icons being carried through the streets.

Some of the opposition “almost leaders, “have decided to “dialogue” with this dictator and his corrupt party, which has only enraged the citizens even more. Venezuelan citizens want this president and his band of cruel inhumane thugs gone.

Where this will eventually go is anyone’s guess, but as of today nothing has changed. The citizens are still in the streets protesting and the present leaders in power are taking every “illegal” action available to them to hang on to their gravy train of continued wealth and powers over the citizens. I say citizens, but not all are fighting for justice and truth. There are many who are just acting as if all is well and have chosen to just wait in the wings hoping their lives are not negatively affected.. There are more protests slated for many locations all over the country today, including here on the island….Prayers and blessings to you and those you love…

Take action and share this!
