US Troops In Ft Hood Receive Orders To Deploy To Syria

US Troops In Ft Hood Receive Orders To Deploy To Syria

I have been able to verify something extremely troubling in the past 12 hours.  A close and verifiable source contacted me to lament the deployment of a friend from Ft. Hood to Egypt, where this particular soldier will be for the next nine months.  We have no military base in Egypt, so we’re all trying to understand the assignment and wonder if he and the other 400 soldiers are living in a tent in the desert, and if they are, how do they receive supplies, from everything to food, water, ammunition, and fuel to conduct whatever mission they are to fulfill, for I cannot imagine a C-140 being allowed to land at Cairo International.

The following information has been sourced thoroughly.  This particular soldier said that while he was not really thrilled about the assignment to Egypt, it was better than the soldiers that remained at the military base BECAUSE THEY HAD JUST RECEIVED THEIR DEPLOYMENT ORDERS TO GO TO SYRIA.  That certainly contradicts the posturing and false reassurances and table-pounding of Obama and Kerry, does it not?

[adsanity id=9292 align=aligncenter /]Of course, credibility should never enter the discussion when talking about this president.  If frogs get nourishment from eating flies, this pathologically dysfunctional misfit gets his lifeblood from telling lies.  It is the manner in which he is genetically coded and been brainwashed to operate.

The courteous words chosen by the media due to the vomit coming from the State Department is that the people involved in the civil war with Assad in Syria are “rebels” and “the opposition”, when in fact it’s a collection of warring, tribal jihadists composed of Hezbollah, Hamas, Al Qaeda, Ansar al-Sharia, Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, and the Muslim Brotherhood, remember them?  They’re the group the Obama administration enabled to take over Libya and Egypt.  To put it tamely, just because they’re all radical Islamic groups does not mean they all get along.

[adsanity id=8527 align=alignleft /]Clearly, the gun running operation CIA operative (NOT Ambassador) Christopher Stevens oversaw out of the pseudo-embassy in Benghazi was funneling guns to the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria, which drew the ire of Ansar al-Sharia, which bears responsibility for the Benghazi attacks.  Clearly it is the jihadist group of his choice, as Obama tried his hand at yet another government-overthrow.  Now it becomes clearer why Susan Rice was sent out to lie to the press with an elementary school alibi, why Hillary Clinton screeched at a Congressional oversight committee, and why the surviving operatives of the embassy attack have been placed under deep cover and from whom we will never hear.  The administration was funding yet another proxy war with a poorly conceived operation and it blew up in its face.

Obama and Kerry have operated under the misconception that Americans are too ignorant to realize other, sophisticated G-7 countries have intelligence gathering techniques that rival or exceed ours, and that is why the likes of Great Britain, Russia, Israel, and Germany, among others, summarily dismissed his intentions to attack Syria at the G-20 Summit in Russia last week.  In fact, Germany’s Der Spiegel just released copies of certain intelligence intercepts this morning proving the Assad did NOT authorize the use of chemical weapons and in fact was strongly opposed to doing so.  Its intelligence gathering clearly shows that the use of nerve gas was by one of the rag-tag rebel groups, instead.  Gee, I can’t imagine the Muslim Brotherhood resorting to such barbaric techniques, can you?

Watching the Obama administration is like watching the mini-car pull into the center ring at the circus, and out comes one clown, after another, after another, after another.

Putin gains huge political capital for seizing on Kerry’s loose tongue, Kerry inadvertently presented an opening against his bosses wishes for military action, and Obama comes across as a more disorganized and weak president, not only domestically, but equally if not more damaging, internationally as well.

And don’t forget:  the man who lied about gun running to the Mexican cartels, IRS targeting, the contents of the health care bill, NSA eavesdropping, is the same psychopath that assured Americans there would be “no boots on the ground”, and that it will be a very small, strategic attack.

Why, then, do soldiers at Ft. Hood already have in hand their deployment assignments to go to Syria?

Hello there! I know this is kind of off topic but I
was wondering which blog platform are you using for this
website? I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems
with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform.
I would be fantastic if you could point me in the direction of a
    good platform.

You will have to excuse an old lady that has been around for 65 yrs. for jumping in on the conversations on this website. My nephew is being deployed to Egypt in a couple of weeks: my stepson is at Ft. Hood waiting to be deployed to Afghanistan also in a couple of weeks. We are from northern Indiana. I could not believe the amount of items (clothing, gear, etc.) that my stepson had to bring home from Camp Atterbury, organize and pack for his trip to Ft. Hood. Not just that would fill a couple of suitcases, but quite honestly would need a moderate sized uhaul. This has nothing to do with the comments on this page–it just seems to make more sense that the items to take to Afghanistan could have been issued at Ft. Hood, but I degress. It is called a senior moment of logic that is not logical in this day and age. I have read some very good points from the comments on this website. I do not mean to offend anyone; but if you review what has been written you will probably read that everyone started by making some very good points–then suddenly some started verbally attacking each other. Are we no better than our democrats & republicans? I was getting a lot of info from some of you about these things that my loved ones are involved in and cannot tell me much about at this period in time. Then sadly some of you started attacking each other. In years past we would try to help explain what others may not know. You know you can disagree–get your point across, without verbal abuse. God help us all.

Recently the Arabs called for a million man march in Washington, but only two Arabs showed up. According to the Washington D.C. Police Department One Million American bikers went to counter their protest. They were out numbered 500,000 to one one.

Recently Obama requested 15,000 Russian troops come to America. Okay so the odds change just a little bit.

So they want to send American troops to the middle east? Fine, the number of registered Deer hunters alone are an extremely large army.

In America their are 19 million survivalists this too is an extremely large army.

Then there are the Gangs that number in the hundreds of thousands and of course the hard core bikers that number in the thousands and have no love for the Government.

Add to this the average individual who will be fighting for his life and the lives of their children (on death ground) and that represents the largest army in the world.

The multilateral forces on the other hand are fighting for a pay check.

our troops don’t fight for the money, they fight for our right to be free and die for it every day; we owe our troops for all the rights we enjoy today; especially the right to criticize what their doing; Show them some respect; talk to me when you’re willing to die on thousands of miles away from home with no expectation of personal gain or glory.

We might not have US bases in Egypt but that doesn’t mean we can’t deploy there. It’s a deployment in support of MFO and the only reason it’s all of a sudden a big deal after the 30 years we’ve been going is that they’re sending active duty now to save money. They have very nice living conditions actually. A gym, store, library, game room, really nice DFAC with good food. They can play pool, have a few beers, sit on the beach, swim and go snorkeling on their down time. MFO has a website where you can find a handful of great information about it. Maybe do some better research before you post a sensationalist article on 9/11 of all days.

    • LPP10 September 15, 2013 at 4:05 pm #

I don’t know if everyone does, but a lot/most get their own rooms and they just even got wifi in one of the buildings. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me!

  9. Adrien September 15, 2013 at 12:06 am #

I liked how he used the 82nd’s (Fort Bragg) pic for this awful article.

And you guys are worried about troops receiving supply? Really? Do you really think our logistics are that terrible?

  10. Micah Broussard September 15, 2013 at 3:18 am #

No boots on the ground, huh? We'll see….

  11. Terry Swain September 15, 2013 at 2:42 am #

SO, in the third sentence of this article Dan Bubalo makes an outright lie. In the about the author paragraph it states he did time in prison for essentially fraud. And now we are supposed to believe anything he has to say? This article is truly a pathetic piece of fiction even in the age of internet journalism.

  12. Keith Barker September 15, 2013 at 2:37 am #

Never let facts get in the way of a good story…

  13. Bobby L Richardson September 15, 2013 at 2:07 am #

I'd also say the Egyptians would be laughing too hard at the Cairo airport to interfere with the 400 soldiers (and all their gear) getting off a "C-140". It would be like watching to see how many people would fit in to a Smart Car. If he was thinking of a C-141, the Air Force stopped using them in 2006. This writer needs to check his facts if he wants to get his point across.

  14. Everett Allen September 15, 2013 at 1:56 am #

Probably to provide security for UN chemical weapons verification. So much for no boots on the ground. Then they'll probably face having their pay held up while congress fights over the budget. This sucks ass!

  16. Randy Kirgiss September 15, 2013 at 12:31 am #

We do have bases in Egypt as part of the UN Observation Forces. I have several friends serving over there now. We have had personnel stationed there for many decades. So, in the first paragraph, the writer discredits himself, making the rest of the article subject to disbelief as well. I am no Obama fan and think this administration should all be put in prison for the crimes committed against the Constitution and American people – but before I believe anything in this so called article, I will need to hear it from someone credible.

This article is ridiculous. Troops deploying to Syria does not mean boots on the ground. They have to go there to launch weapons from their ships and planes don't they? Aren't there tons of troops already there prepared for a potential attack? This is nothing new.

    • Jim Coursey September 17, 2013 at 5:49 pm #

The Army does not launch missiles from ships – the Navy does. Just saying.

    • Tim Newell October 31, 2013 at 10:37 am #

Billy Hidell oops! sorry you had to find out this way soldier,

  41. Jules Caesar Vallez September 14, 2013 at 9:20 am #

EVERYONE LISTEN, this is what we can reasonably conclude are the facts:

    1. Whether or not there is a base, the U.S. could be deploying and we may or may not know until the operation goes live (although, there is plenty of evidence to show that the U.S., Russian and Chinese are all lining up some serious fire-power in theater.)

    2. The U.S. is considering or has decided on strikes which would, likely, require reallocation of assets (the U.S. probably does not have enough just laying around to pull it off without properly preparing) + even if the U.S. does not intend to strike, the Russian and Chinese mobilizations would trigger DOD to reallocate assets to ensure we shift the balance of power in "our" favor (as a default/strategic policy);

    3. Something, whatever that may be, is going to happen;

    4. The Russians and Chinese, right or wrongly, have assumed that an attack MAY occur and are preparing to protect their vital interest in the region (especially the Russian naval port);

    5. The pretext of the U.S. that we must do something because the Syrian's used
    chemical weapons is a load of bullshit (not only have all of these countries used these weapons in one form or another against former enemies, they have used them against their own populations…. no one with 2 brain cells to rub together is falling for that B.S.);

    6. Non-Military options abound which a. have not been exhausted and b. will likely not be exhausted before the U.S. FURTHER injects itself into this disaster of an issue;

    7. Either the U.S. AND/OR Russian & China is/are planning to use this as a. an excuse to initiate a limited war (enough to detract their internal populations from domestic policy issues), or b. an excuse to launch a full scale war (a la World War III) to accomplish the "elites" well-documented goal of global population reduction;

    8. Any political scientist will tell you that the "Realist/Rational Actor" theory is the basis for all International Relations. This means that nation-states are presumed, by default, to act in accordance with what rational actors would do. Why in the hell would Syria launch a chemical weapons attack, ON THEIR OWN POPULATION, with the whole damn world watching — and justify a full-scale intervention? It is not rational – therefore it is highly, highly, HIGHLY unlikely and, in fact, it would be stupid (and the Syrian's have been around for a few thousand years guys…. they are not stupid);

    9. The same "rational actor" theory dictates that, most likely, the pretext of chemical weapons attacks being used by the U.S. and NATO are either I. False Flag operations carried out by the rebels (aided and funded by the U.S./NATO) to give us an excuse to attack, II. Staged Events whereby chemical weapons may have been released (to a very limited degree) by some unknown party but not nearly justifying a military strike (at least not before the diplomatic options are exhausted) or III. a Non-Event which was conjured up by the Mainstream media (bought and paid for many years ago with our tax-dollars);

    10. There is no disputing the fact that the "rebels" in Syria, whether or not your agree with Assad, are mostly comprised of Anti-Western, jihadist/Al-Qaeda groups who are currently, as I type, chopping off Christian's heads and burning down churches. . . . and God only knows what else. THESE are the people these "humanitarian strikes" would help gain power should American's fail to stop this new B.S. war. Further, these are same guys who ALLEGEDLY attacked us on 9/11 (ya, you know, that day when not one, not two, but three steel-structured buildings fell into their own-footprint. Google: Building 7 – furthest away from the 2 towers, minor fires, massive-steel building that just collapsed even though no plane hit it and it fell straight down.)

    11. Thank god, more and more Americans are waking up and realizing that BOTH parties are two-sides of the same coin. Obama is a puppet and does not have our interest at heart anymore than G.W. Bush did when he was in office, committing war crimes and bombing anything that moved.

    12. We must, actively and using the power of information, seize the initiative against the ruling elite (the real-power pulling the strings) before they either I. cause a war to quell domestic issues with their respective populations and we're all too busy working 5 jobs to eat and buy gas to care or II. cause World War III and have 99% of us wiped out so they can inherit the earth (ya, sounds nuts but do a little research and you'll find their statements – this is the plan boys and girls.)

Note: Does it really matter whether the article is accurate about whether there is a base or no base and if hes going to prepare or not prepare…. hey, let me save you the suspense, the U.S. is flying B1's and B2's from their home bases to Diego Garcia – in range of Syria…. SOMETHING IS UP ? The important points are these 1. at least the author gave us the information to allow WE THE PEOPLE to decide/give input and 2. even if no bases existed – that would not stop the U.S. from gearing up forces. . . . we all know that to be the case because we all know they constantly lie to us about just about every last little damn thing.

I hope and pray, and pray, and pray. . . . that I can have my country back one-day – because, clearly, something has gone terribly wrong (for about 20-30 years.)

    Goodnight and God Bless.

    Jules C. Vallez, J.D.

    • g. martin September 14, 2013 at 9:00 am #

Jules, none of these issues and tactics will not subside or stop altogether until the 99% take the necessary steps to debase or eliminate the international banking community and their families from the world economy and policies. Until this happens nothing will change in the history of endless wars of the human history. The mantra of the ruling elite has always been to divide and conquer. We the 99% have long history of being suckered in for this tactic. You can name the issue by which this tactic is employed by the elite, Banking, Politics, Laws, & wars, etc. and they finance both sides of the issues so they never loose and they still their power and control over the 99%.

    • Jimbo Deen September 14, 2013 at 9:31 am #

Jules Caesar Valle, you are complete moron. Your long-winded rhetoric that is filled with an abundance of spelling errors, grammatical mistakes and some of the worse usage of punctuation I have witnessed in many years, is only the beginning of showing any reader on this site that any idiot can spew verbal diarrhea.

The overwhelming majority of your essay is based strictly on personal opinion. You present little to no facts. On several occasions throughout your pointless ramble, you attempt to present your opinions as facts. Often times you used hyperboles.

You come off as a person that is paranoid. You are nothing but some hack conspiracy theorist. Most people don’t give a damn about your speculation and made up “facts”. Get a life, loser.

    • Jim Coursey September 17, 2013 at 5:57 pm #

Re 12. We can’t use the power of information. The media have long been in the thrall of those who pull the strings behind both major political parties. It is their single agenda that drives all the Government and, ultimately, we do.

Also, it’s not the last 20-30 years. This has been going on seriously since just after the beginning of the 20th century.

  42. Jules Caesar Vallez September 14, 2013 at 6:02 am #

Jennifer Bingham – Well, well boys & girls. . . . we've got ourselves a live one here! Yes Jen (if I may), you're damn right; although it is not Obama himself, of course. Rather, he is nothing but the political equivalent to a manager at a McDonalds and the real powers-that-be have decided it is time to have ourselves a little war! Hey, what the hell, it's not like we need the money and man-power here in the States where everything is falling apart and real unemployment is (AT LEAST) 25%. I gotta tell everyone tho – the Republicans will just tow the damn line too as, unfortunately, both political parties serve the exact same interests. That said it is refreshing to see, more and more, the American people wake up from their collective slumber and say: "no more B.S.!"

  44. Annie Hamer September 14, 2013 at 4:16 am #

I have been fascinated while reading all the comments to your article. I must confess, though, that there are many of the responders who, well, frankly, it's sort of like that moment of staring at road kill. It's really ugly and gruesome, but you can barely tear your eyeballs away ,and thank goodness the car finally leaves it behind.
Never, in my life, have I read such a display that proves the sorry state of education in America. Most of the comments here are quite likely from adults. How do so many of these people manage to live life with such egregiously poor reading and comprehension skills? It's obvious there are several who are pawn-devotees of Mr. Obama but putting them aside into their own little pile — It is shocking and discouraging to see people holding forth when they so glaringly don't even comprehend what was written. They create their own silly little strawman and then proceed to poke that self-created strawman in the eye with their knitting needles. I mean, seriously, how do they survive? The posturing and swaggering are reprehensible–as if they were carrying the family jewels (which obviously they are not). They could blow themselves up trying to follow the instructions on a box of cake mix. These people are out there amongst us. They're in our groceries, gas stations, Wally World, walking their dogs. I find this a very chilling thought.

I have information for you in regard to Ft. Hood soldiers being deployed to Egypt. My nephew was one of the soldiers and left at the end of August for nine months. I am not aware of how they are being housed and how they are receiving supplies. I am hoping that the information regarding other Ft. Hood troops being deployed to Syria is not true. This misrepresentation to the American people after we were told no American boots on the ground cannot be tolerated. The American public will not tolerate this.

    • LPP10 September 15, 2013 at 3:41 pm #

My husband is part of the Egypt group also. They are actually housed very well and get to spend their free time swimming, snorkeling, playing pool, basketball or just sitting on the beach. (If they’re in South Camp at least, not sure about North). It’s pretty nice! We were shown photos and videos of South Camp before they left and they have a nice library, store, gym and are fed really well.

I didn’t read all of the comments, so this article concerning military bases in Egypt may have already been posted – and may or may not be relevant (I’ve never been there, so I can’t prove it one way or another):

CAIRO (Reuters) – Egypt has no foreign military bases on its soil and has no plans to downsize its armed forces, said the military spokesman, rejecting media reports claiming so.”

“”There are no American or foreign military bases in Egypt,” Ali told reporters on Thursday. “There never has been and there never will be any foreign military bases in Egypt. This is a fixed stance in Egyptian national security policy to preserve national sovereignty.”

    • Dan Bubalo September 13, 2013 at 7:11 pm #

      Thank you, Jack.

A lot of people said I was off my rocker, but, there are no foreign military bases in Egypt. Period. The end.

There are bases shared collectively by military units from several countries, but……the US does not have one there.

      • bob September 13, 2013 at 7:49 pm #

No one, but no one, was saying there are U.S. bases in Egypt.

Your major premise was wrong: You acted surprised that U.S. troops were being deployed to Egypt. When that is, in fact, routine.

When will you admit you blew it?

  56. Frances Parker September 13, 2013 at 2:07 pm #

everything you all are saying is moot. Obama does not listen and all Presidents for generations have used the military as guinea pigs. My father was in Pearl Harbor, Korea, and Vietnam. My husband has Agent orange. I say that we need to leave the Middle East and let them fight their wars that have gone on for thousands of years. They live in the dark ages and you can’t communicate with them. In every war there are casualties; men, women and children; we can’t stop it. We have all the resources here in the United States we need, but Politicians get us into wars, both sides. It used to be that they listened to the people, not anymore. Gas and food, ect. are all sky high. Bring our military home to guard our borders. Arizona is being bombarded by the drug cartels and other aliens coming through(Muslims). It is now time to take care of our own.

  57. Wayne September 13, 2013 at 1:28 pm #

    Mr. Bubalo,

Please note that Hezbollah is not a “rebel” group and they entered Syria at the request of Mr. Assad to help restore order and expel the grotesque murderous al queda types. Hezbollah is from Lebanon where they are part of the government and have helped rebuild that nation, after they expelled the Israeli invaders (yes they have defeated the Israelis four times!). Hezbollah does not attack civilians and they conduct themselves with great discipline and professionalism. They are the best military in the middle east and could be considered on a par with army rangers.

    • navycorpsman86 September 13, 2013 at 1:50 pm #

You are an absolute idiot. Hezbollah is responsible for countless attacks against Israeli citizens and military. They are a terrorist organization and nothing more. Bubalo, if you are reading this you are also an ill informed idiot.

The Rangers units have been on-top of these KKK-like black sheeted sweat rags also known as Rag Heads, and they killed all comers and flew home. I live in close proximity to Ft. Huachuca, AZ Yesterday, an old, usually locked and barricaded gate was wide open with military vehicles convoying onto the post all day long. I’ve been close to this base for nearly 20 years, and have never seen that gate open except on very rare occasions and then only for maintenance reasons. As a retired member of the AZ Guard and former state employee on the Fort, I’ve never seen this gate used to this extent.

A caller to the Rusty Humphries Show last night from Great Falls, MT said she’s seeing a dramatic increase of activity in and out of Maelstom AFB, unlike any witnessed before, and she’s a lifelong resident.

Other talk is going around about out of the ordinary movements at Joint Base Lewis/McChord and MacDill AFB.

There is something going on, but as usual the Obama Clown Show is shoveling out s__t faster than you can clear it with a Letourneau L-2350, and that’s a mighty big front end loader.

There is a mission in Egypt that has been there since 1978 with the peace agreement between Israel and Egypt. It is a multinational mission, and it is named MFO (Multinational Forces and Observers). Currently, it is a nine month mission for U.S. troops.

      • Rick Keller September 13, 2013 at 10:00 am #

Look up MFO online, the mission is no secret. Even Wikipedia has it. I know of it because I was with the TXANG that was deployed there in 2006.

Oh yes, Fort Huachuca, where illegal aliens by the hundreds stream past every night from Mexico, and the soldiers are under orders not to interfere. Wonderful intelligence post, where they monitor the western hemisphere, but can’t even stop and invasion that happens every night.

  63. Teabunny September 12, 2013 at 9:51 pm #

Another dimension of the U.S.-Egypt relationship is geopolitical and based on access to the Suez Canal. The Egyptian government allows the U.S. Navy to use the canal on an expedited basis. According to the Congressional Research Service, this access allows the Navy to “deploy carrier groups swiftly to the Persian Gulf region. Without passage through the Canal, the Navy would have to deploy ships around the Cape of Good Hope — adding significant time to deployment from Norfolk, Va., to the Persian Gulf or Indian Ocean.”
Of course, oil tankers also transit the Suez Canal. In 2012, more than 3,600 tankers passed through the waterway. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, last year nearly 3 million barrels per day of total oil transported in both directions. “This is the highest amount ever shipped through the Suez Canal and made up about 7 percent of total seaborne-traded oil,” the EIA said.
Oil shipments also rely on the 200-mile Sumed pipeline, which runs across Egypt, connecting the Gulf of Suez to the Mediterranean Sea. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and other Persian Gulf oil producers move more than three-quarters of their oil exports to Europe by way of the Sumed pipeline.
U.S.-Egyptian military cooperation isn’t limited to Navy access to the Suez. Egypt expert Jason Brownlee at the University of Texas noted last month after President Mohammed Morsi was toppled that “unlike the American public, the Egyptian military knows that the U.S. gets far more out of the relationship than it puts in: over-flight rights, prepositioning at Cairo West Air Base, intelligence on al Qaida.”
As of last December there were about 300 U.S. military personnel stationed in Egypt.

        Mr. Bubablo, et al.:

Whether or not the report is 100% accurate we must commend you for AT LEAST making it known to the American public and allowing ‘we the people’ to decide for ourselves. Further, we may or may not have actively deployed troops in any number of countries but we all know, or damn well should know, that our government is far from accurate when it comes to reporting ”our” military’s strategic intentions, plans, troop movements, placements, current & pending deployments, etc. Maybe your buddy’s buddy is there too clean our latrines and file paperwork; perhaps he is there as part of an impending active military campaign. One fact is clear to anyone who is paying an iota of attention to the current state of affairs: the United States is actively engaging and provoking the Syrians for reasons which have nothing to do with its strategic interest. That said, this witches brew of bull$%^^! may lead to World War III; I wonder if this would help or hamper the ‘powers that be’ detract from the current, deplorable state of our once great and proud country? Nah – couldn’t be. The government WOULD NEVER lie to us, right?

Ha. Ha. Let them talk for, ultimately, we both know you will be proven, unfortunately, correct.

Americans seem to forget that the Egyptian military trains in the US and some of ours train in Egypt. Most of Egypt’s officer corps is US trained. Which is probably why they ousted the Muslim Brotherhood when Morsi declared himself dictator.

We’ve had troops in Egypt for years. It’s even a cushy assignment. 400 troops are being sent to relieve those already there in Sinai. Those troops in place being part of the ongoing MFO operation. Now, the number of troops have increased by about 30% over the past couple years but this is not out of the norm.

Bubalo’s unnamed source never said the deployment was to a U.S. military base. Please reread the article: it was Bubalo who erroneously assumed that it would be impossible for the United States to deploy troops to Egypt if it doesn’t have a base there.

As many have proven here, it wouldn’t be impossible. It would be, in fact, routine. There is absolutely nothing unusual with U.S. troops being deployed to Egypt.

That Bubalo can’t be bothered to research what he was told by his anonymous “verified” source (that was “sourced thoroughly”) speaks volumes to Bubalo’s lack of credibility.

Same thing goes for Pres Obama, lookalike of one of the ex pharoahs of Egypt (King Tut), who says he was born in Hawaii (gag, chuckle) and that he is a christian (almost fell off my chair on that one). The man is a Muslim and like all of our ‘mason’ founding fathers who swore on their own bible, are waiting for their own ‘god’ to return.

You know, the little ‘in god we trust’ on our ‘money’ that is not Yehovah, the Elohim of everything, that is the masonic god ‘apollo’ son of osirus of Egypt.

By the way, the U.S. is EGYPT the spiritual Egypt and collapse of Egypt is coming as well as the death angel. Time to get right with Yehovah…Yom Kippur is coming up and those who names are not in the book of life, well they ain’t there.

As Egypt collapsed and is still nothing so will the U.S. collapse (now you know why they are furiously trying to buy gold cause there is nothing to back up those fake bills they are printing).

What can I say to your assertions? I’ll have to leave you to your own musings on that.

My basic statement has been that the US has no US military bases in Egypt.

      • Bear September 13, 2013 at 4:52 am #

Didn’t you read the others reply its a MFO base and the mission there is
        {independent international organization, with peacekeeping responsibilities}

FALSE, Im currently deployed and this article made me laugh. Good job stirring the shit your “resource” sounds really creditable sounds like a PVT fresh out of basic training. I have been overseas for 1 year. and there are unit here including myself that are packing up everything to come home. All threat levels over here have been down graded and were allow off post again, and as far as no military bases in Egypt? False, there are 2! we just came back from there, full American military installation. So please do your home work before getting people excited and families worried. Thank you US Army SGT Medevac

      Army SGT,

Can you supply us with the name and location of a US military base in Egypt? The article does not claim that there are no military bases in Egypt; it states the US does not have one there.

All threat levels down-graded? And you actually believe that?

      • Pappy September 13, 2013 at 7:41 am #

Haha, oh Annie. Just because Soldiers can’t get PCS orders to a base, doesn’t mean the base isn’t a US base. If they have a section for US personnel that has an American flag up, then it’s a US base. It doesn’t matter if the name is in arabic.

And no, nobody should be giving you locations to the bases. It’s called OPSEC.

Regardless, the whole point of the author saying the US doesn’t have a base in Egypt was to somehow imply that we don’t deploy Soldiers there. That is patently false as we’ve deployed Soldiers there for decades to keep the peace between Egypt and Israel.

Stop being a pedantic ass. Not only do you fail to see the point, but you are wrong.

    • nighteagle September 12, 2013 at 2:52 pm #

Hate to burst your bubble there but you have been hoodwinked. You may be packing up and going ‘home’ but the question is for how long you will be staying there. By the way, I was a sgt. during Viet Nam and in the Pentagon where they do all the deploying.

I suspect Obama is feebly trying to play catch up here in order to try and add some US troop balance to the enormous presence of special and regular Russian forces running around Syria, the Russian special forces have a mandate to exterminate all foreign assets and agents whilst the Marine forces are there to protect and observe specific sites.

America thinks that because they can go in under a mandate requested by the Syrian “rebels” it will be impervious, Russia is there under Assad’s invitation as well as treaty obligations which the Syrian rebels cannot gainsay until they are removed or changed by an act of lawmaking nor can they by sleight of hand sign treaties and it is only a handful of nations that accept Syrian rebels as legitimate.

As for Egypt, well we know the Egyptian military have come down on the side of Assad and I suspect that troops are either going to help stir up some trouble or they are there to help police the Ramallah crossing which has stationed there US and Israeli troops who act as “filter” to stop people coming out and to stop goods and aid getting in, right now Gaza is very much a weak point for Israel if any potent arms get into Palestine such as SAM-7’s and anti-tank ordnance.

Can anyone remember the small platoon of US forces Obama sent Morsi and what happened to them and why they were utilised in the first place?

“The C-140 is a business jet, not a military transport.”

Lockheed made C140s for our mlitary use and they
were not “biz jets.” You can find great photos of them
if you google about. Great looking aircraft with some
      tidy stats.

      • Pappy September 13, 2013 at 7:47 am #

Are you really trying to defend a typo? Regardless, yes they are business jets, even for the Air Force. So, why would the author find it strange for them to be allowed to land at Cairo International?

But that’s moot as the Air Force doesn’t even use them anymore.

I’m sick of the sneaky tricks and the lying every time he opens his mouth. He does not have our interest at heart and WHY he is still president I cannot understand as he has committed all kinds of impeachable things. Whatever happened to his promise to uphold the Constitution of the United States? That’s been long out of the picture. Is Congress frozen when it comes to removing this president? Afraid of him? It all adds up to provoking a civil was here in America and having reinforcments. If things leep on the same path, civil war is likely to happen here. And our allies wouldn’t intervine, just like they wouldn’t in syria. So Obama turns to his muslim friends. They love war and hate us, so it probably wouldn’t take much convincing, but they would want something in return, like help taking Syria. Obama knows he can’t just send in the troops against an established government engulfed in civil war without reprocussions, so the muslims hit themselves and civillians with nerve gas, so Obama can parade poor/false intelligence to us and the allies as a reason to intervine.

The one thing that i remember the most clearly over the past 40 years of my school days at Brandeis University in 1970’s are my student adviser’s words that when he was growing up that his grand parents and parents used the term “‘goyishe kup,’” meaning that the “Non-Jews are Stupid”
Later in life I learned that the exact translation of “GOYISHE KUP” means that the “Cattle are STUPID”..
I remember him recalling whatt his father told him when he was growing up in Eastern Europe. One of them being that when his father was in high school he and a group of friends would skip school early on Fridays and go over to his friend’s father’s butcher shop. That they would buy at cost any cows , that had not been butchered by the end of the day on Friday before the start of shabat . They would take the cow home and wash it and then the boys would procede to “beat the udders of the cows so that they would swell up and turn pink” so as to sell them to the “GOYISHE KUP” as milk producing cows.
The part that I remember him asking me if the East Europeans are so naive, so gullible and so stupid to buy old “non milk producing cows” from a bunch of young Jewish Boys.
So thinking of it now I agree with the Jewish saying that the “GOYISHE KUP” are indeed” Stupid” as they believe that a Bunch of Arab Moslem Kids who were not able to Fly a Cessna Airplane took it upon themselves to FLY a Jumbo 747 and outwitted the US Militaryand Civilian authorities. The “Jewish Lightning Insurance Scam” of the 1960’s is still alive and well has been put to good use by Larry Silverstein in putting 15 million down and comming out with 7 billion dollars for buidings that no one wanted to buy because it would have cost a billion dollars to remove the asbestos from. Then on top of that the people in America actually believe that they actually decide who is elected President or for that that actual VOTE is really counted and makes a difference in deciding who represents them in the White House and congress. ,

Yeh I agree that the AmericanNon-Jews are indeed American “GOYISHE KUP” or “STUPID CATTLE”!

  88. Timothy Dunlap September 12, 2013 at 12:20 am #

Errors concerning Hamas and Ansar al-Sharia, and the naive belief that our military isn’t welcome in Egypt, do not discredit the Ft. Hood part of the story.

June 24 of this year a new deployment to Egypt was announced. The soldiers are based in the Sinai, to protect Israel’s border. Soldiers from 13 nations are involved. The number of American soldiers was given as 400.

In April of this year we deployed F-16 fighter-bombers and Patriot missiles to northern Jordan, and as of June we had about a thousand personnel there. We have been planning to attack Syria. There’s nothing unlikely about what this article suggests.

Opposition from within the US military to US involvement in Syria includes statements of Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman General Martin Dempsey, to the Senate Armed Services Committee in July of this year, and in General Dempsey’s letter to Congressman Eliot Engel, of August 19.

    • Jerry C. September 12, 2013 at 7:35 am #

  89. RG September 11, 2013 at 11:32 pm #

    Maybe he’s talking about this:

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration is considering a plan to use U.S. military trainers to help increase the capabilities of the Syrian rebels, in a move that would greatly expand the current CIA training being done quietly in Jordan, U.S. officials told The Associated Press on Thursday.

Any training would take place outside Syria, and one possible location would be Jordan.

  120. Jesse James September 11, 2013 at 8:47 pm #

It's bullshit, there is no order to deploy.

  121. Bruce Majors September 11, 2013 at 8:45 pm #

Obama and Kerry sure showed Rand Paul; Obama's foreign policy this week skipped over libertarians and went straight to anarchy.

C-140? Do you mean C-130 (which can land just about anywhere), or a C-141 which is larger, but can't land as many places. There is also the new C-17, which is larger than the C-130? Either way, the aircraft don't have to land to get supplies to them, the supplies could be LAPESed (low altitude parachute extraction).
Either way, with Syria agreeing to put their chemical weapons under the control of the UN, it takes any and all teeth out of obomba. We have no business getting involved.

    • Dan Bubalo September 11, 2013 at 7:24 pm #

Missed it by one number with a typo James P. There is, indeed, a C-140 but it is a much smaller aircraft.

This entire article is dis-information, and meant for the purpose of fear-mongering. There have been NO deployment orders cut for Syria for any branch of the service whatsoever. This information was confirmed by III Corps Command Staff, the Pentagon, as well as Colonel Matthew G. Elledge, Garrison Commander.

Stop trying to instill fear into people for the purposes of profit.

You're wrong, Phil, and I don't have to prove to you who I am at all. But I'll say this to you: My military career (which is still active) began in 1988 under Pres. Reagan. I've been based in Egypt myself as a Soldier. Dan, who has never served, doesn't know what he's talking about. Dan said we have no bases in Egypt in the beginning of his article. Maybe you should retread and reeducate yourself. The article is wrong as is Dan. Here's a link to where we have been based in Egypt for the last 3 decades: You've been schooled. Now, go away.

That’s a multinational OBSERVATION station, NOTa base & NOT ours ergo our troops can’t be stationed there in any numbers. There can only be whatever sufficient number is required to carry out its observation duties, provide support for the observers & provide some security. Thus Dan IS correct. It is NOT a military base.

I don’t know what military you serve but you aren’t doing so now in Egypt on a US military base (which is what this article stated). Before you deign to hold forth again and “school” someone ,I would kindly like to recommend that you engage in some extensive remedial reading classes.

  126. Aaron Noah Horvitz September 11, 2013 at 8:10 pm #

This is normal. The United States has for the last 32 years, deployed roughly 400 troops to the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, as part of a UN Peacekeeping force between Egypt and Israel. It was part of the negotiation we brokered called the Camp David Accords.

    • Lightfallonme September 12, 2013 at 1:20 am #

Correct -not a ‘base’ but observation post in the same way small contingents of troops in embassies are not stationed on a military base, the difference being that embassies are considered to be the soil of the country represented by the embassy. The post in Egypt is operated by the UN not the U S & has multinational staffing.

    • Lightfallonme September 12, 2013 at 1:05 am #

      • LPP10 September 15, 2013 at 3:54 pm #

It’s considered a deployment. Just because they are not US controlled doesn’t mean anything.

    • Lightfallonme September 12, 2013 at 1:37 am #

They are part of a UN peacekeeping force making up a MULTINATIONAL force not a U S deployment, got it Phil? I know the difference is difficult for a NONmilitary person to grasp but do try. It is a UN observation post staffed with troops from other nations as well NOT a U S base. Uh, that’s why there’s such a small number – sufficient for support
&security but INSUFFICIENT to engage an enemy other than to try to hold on until help arrives.

  142. Jennifer Bingham September 11, 2013 at 6:41 pm #

Do you really think that after all that Obama has done in the last 5 years he is going to quietly walk away in 2016? He might seem like an idiot but he and those who back him like Soros and whoever the hell from the Middle East groomed him and paid his way through college, smoothing his way whenever an obstacle arose-like Romney, those people have choreographed every move that he has made for 5 years. I guarantee that he does not walk away in 2016 and that the Syrian War he is so hell bent on getting into blows up into World War 3 thanks to Iran who is panting at the bit to attack Israel if we get involved with Syria. We attack Iran, whose allies consist of Russia and China, and presto: World War 3 complete with nukes. And back home, Obama pulls an F.D.R and declares himself another term in order to bring order to the chaos. Dictatorships have started up all over the world throughout history with less than what he has put in place.

    • Teapatroit September 12, 2013 at 12:46 am #

Jennifer you are the only one here that has really said something that makes total sense on Syria. Meanwhile back home after declaring another term Obama calls out fema to pick up all that disagree with what he is doing. They are locked up in the fema camps that have been set up all over the country. Yah I know the Japanese didn’t believe they would be locked in camps by F.D.R. either.

My research says that Snopes was founded by a husband and wife Jennifer, with no background in library science, but through clever marketing and seemingly endless bankroll, they have somehow established themselves as the go-to-source.

I hadn’t heard of Soros’ involvement before, but it certainly makes sense. They confirm every liberal story and shoot down anyone conservative.

Don't believe the lie about peace with Syria. The troops are receiving orders to Syria because there will be world war. Everything is to obama's advantage to launch a strike:

    1. It will decimate our already over stretched military.

    2. Our attacks on Syria will also launch attacks on the USA by sleeper cells.

    3. Martial law will follow.

    4. Military/obama's nazi ss civilian force will barge into homes without warrant to confiscaste your guns with the excuse it is to tamp down further violence while making you a slave.

    5. Without guns American citizens will be less able to fight the onslaught of islam/communism.

    6. Chances are seeing what hell has been unleashed in the Middle East Israel will also be attacked and destroyed something out enemy in chief wants.

    7. The new world odor will achieve one of it's goals by eliminating even more people from the planet (90% is the goal).

    8. While all this is happening the diversion is away from the scandals at nsa, irs, fast and furious, benghazi, and obama having Sheriff Joe Arpaio breathing down his neck disqualifying obama from even being president and destined for prison.

It’s absolutely staggering that this president has not been impeached. I have recently joined the Tea Party and I’m so glad I did. Very imformative. I don’t put anymore trust or faith in the communist leader than I do in my own president with regards to the best interest of my country, which is zero. I agree, obama is no match for a seasoned leader like Putin. All we are watching is obama’s incompetent, juvenile, knee jerk responses to his own ego and doing the will of his personal financiers, the saudi arabians. I pray we don’t lose anymore of our soldiers for the whims of a corrupt president who should have been impeached by now. The middle east, let them fight out their own miserable civil wars, like they have been for thousands of years. We are learning that America has more oil than all of the middle east put together, however, that might be why the global elitists want America…….. and an end to our middle class.

    • Dan Bubalo September 11, 2013 at 1:34 pm #

We took no action when Assad supposedly killed 100,000 of his own people (a number impossible to verify, by the way)

Now, when other foreign intelligence agencies do not agree with our assertion that Assad was the one behind the use of chemical weapons, we still leave a military response as a possibility.

My question is this: 400-800 people were casualties from nerve gas, and while tragic, where was our concern when the first 100,000 were being killed?

  159. Anonymous September 11, 2013 at 12:52 pm #

You are incorrect. While we do have a rotating force in Europe, and we do have a QRF (Quick Reactionary Force) on standby to react to developing situations around the world, there is not one soldier in the US Army who has orders with the word “Syria” in them. That I can guarantee you. I am commenting on this nonsensical article from one of the computers that creates those orders.
While you have freedom of speech, which includes the freedom to lie, you need to seriously consider the consequences of such actions. Fear-mongering and stirring up fear based on preconceived fears is not responsible journalism, nor is it responsible citizenship.

That’s what happens when a president has skipped 58% of his security briefings, Deb.

Not that attending them all would have made him any smarter.

So Obama lied, yet again?…..Gee, Say it ain't so!…

It caught me off-guard, too, Chris………………………………………..

If the Russians do see to it that the Syrian governments chemical weapons are turned over for destruction, they would consider it most unwise to allow the USA to have anything to do with it lest the regime turn some of these weapons over to allies who then pass them on to the ‘rebels’. Far better that Russia, under UN supervision, take control of these weapons and destroy them under UN supervision. That way, the accounting and witnessing would be better ensured. It is obvious by now that the DC regime cannot be trusted in this respect. There must be wailing and gnashing of teeth in Washington—-some folks were certainly burning for a war, no matter how it might widen or even go ‘upstairs’.

    • Dan Bubalo September 11, 2013 at 9:55 am #

Everything is upside down, thanks to this president.

I, like everyone else, see statesmanship from Russia while simultaneously watching a grab bag of failed and poorly reasoned strategies from our supposed leader.

It’s impossible to trust the intentions of Putin, but he’s certainly acted like a strategic, international veteran during the fiasco of the past 2 weeks, while Obama has been snookered at every turn because he’s just not major league material—————and it’s never been more apparent.

    • Sharon Tomas September 11, 2013 at 10:01 am #

It is terrible to have to admit that we, as Americans, agree with the wisdom of letting the Russians and the UN take care of the turning over and destruction of Syria’s or the ‘oppositions’ chemical weapons problem rather than trusting our own president and other governmental officials to do so.

America has over extended itself fighting other people’s wars for too long. And in the middle East we can’t easily tell the good guys from the bad guys. Actually, its getting pretty much that way in DC too.

      • Dan Bubalo September 11, 2013 at 10:03 am #

        You’re right, Sharon.

Hard to tell the raisins from the rat droppings.

Well reported ,I salute you. Things going on that make you think that God may be getting enough of all this. It was sure different under Honables Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush,
and George W. Bush. We had commander in chief’s that had foresight, fairness, great judgement and gut’s .No puppet strings back in those days, This installed person we now are having to live with is so deep in islamic control that it will be impossible that we recover.
Oh, to be young start over, may have averted these tragedys. There’s no doubt orders have been given ,this little king has always got his way….things they are a changing. V. Putin has made him look weak, weak, weak and it will not be forgotten. I plan on getting on more often of M.Massie and D. Bubalo site I like hearing the real story, whether I like it or not. 11 Oct. 13

      Thank you, General.

When I finish a column I often wonder what the topic will be for the following week. With this ship of fools, I don’t have to wait long before there’s another bad act on Amateur Hour that requires analysis.

They have their order to to deploy but have not yet deployed? If American citizens learn of this too quickly for their comfort. They might change their deployment order. Who cares if it make us look like conspiracy nuts if they don't actually deploy. Our military is up against cannibals.

    • Dan Bubalo September 11, 2013 at 8:23 am #

I hadn’t thought of using the description of “cannibals”, Sheila.

Normally, my words are more unprintable, but that is a good one.

  185. Dan Bubalo September 11, 2013 at 8:00 am #

I see them all as pigs taking turns drinking at the trough, Jeff, and just like lawyers, they don’t eat their own.

I use to think a third or fourth party was not a good idea, but not any longer. Libertarian or Tea Party? Either or both are fine with me.

  186. Anonymous September 11, 2013 at 11:59 am #

As always, if you want the truth about possible military actions, go to the deployable assets first as they have to begin preparations to be mobilized well in advance and logistics have to be coordinated. Do not talk to the General's or their staff, they are political appointees.

Thanks to Mychal and Dan for their relentless pursuit of the truth.

    • Dan Bubalo September 11, 2013 at 8:08 am #

The generals might as well be considered politicians, Anonymous. That’s why so many sharp guys remain colonels.

They won’t play the games it takes to get that final promotion.

I am a little surprised not to hear more of where this end game is headed. Mrs Clinton has been able to leave office before the scandal your article describes comes out in full force. That is assuming the mainstream media ever reports on the possibility or if they ever ask any questions at all of Mrs Clinton. She is clearly the front runner for the next Democrat run at the White House. I do not understand why she should be in any way considered for that post or for one as an animal control officer in Beckley West Virginia. But she will be largely free of the big controversry about giving arms to terrorists that attacked Benghazi and killed our embassy staff. She will not be blamed for helping to lay the ground work that helped to cause this mess in Syria. As usual the Clintons are getting a free ride from media and from the GOP. Why is there no hearing on this? Why is there never any sort of accountability for a Clinton, Kennedy, or a Bush? We have been far too trusting for far too long. I hope others begin to think this through and vote for Tea Party or Libertarian candidates for all offices. The GOP is morally dead and the Dems deserted american working people long ago to side with hippies and they never came back. Vote for someone new someone different and do not be mislead into thinking your vote will not count if you desert a dead party.
