Who are the people they’re polling

Let me ask you – who made mitt romney the hero of conservatives? Why are being told every day that Sarah Palin is a star, a rock star, a lightening rod, that people are sharply divided over her, that she can’t win, and just this morning we were told that a rasmussen poll says 45% of gop primary voters think it would be bad for Sarah to enter race, while a plurality (whatever that mythical thing is) say its good if Texas gov perry gets in, but if bad if Sarah gets in. Oh really!! Who are these people and what was the poll question? Where they white, black, egyptian, male, female, asian, diplomat or gov employee? Who commissioned the poll and what were they looking for? What sampling of gop primary voters were selected and where did the people live? How old were they and what was their education level and income levels? Don’t think for a moment those things don’t factor in. In December 2008, 64% of people wanted Sarah to run, in November 2009, 69% said she helped mccain, in January 2011, more than half of Sarah’s backers said they would leave the gop if she isn’t nominated. Now we’re told that 49% think romney is qualified to be president while 65% think Sarah is not. Bottomline I don’t believe the polls we are being bombarded w/. I don’t believe that Herman Cain and Sarah Palin are unelectable. What I do believe is that both behind the scenes and on-air rove, krauthammer, barbara bush, the republican hierarchy, et al, have trashed Sarah and deftly tried to marginalize Herman. If you are a true constitutional conservative tell me how you could support, romney, pawlenty or huntsman? Do we want more of the same? Do we want the same old retreads and has beens? I grow more outraged and insulted by the day when I see foxnews blathering about romney and pawlenty, while ignoring the other true conservatives. One last thing to think about – just before Pat Toomey of PA announced his campaign, word went forth in the form of talking points and innuendo that Pat was to conservative to win. That the only way “we” could defeat the democrat machine was by nominating someone more moderate. That drone went on and on, and of course you know what happened – Toomey won the nomination and the election. Do not buy the crap being doled out w/ straight face and an air of erudition – the party and the party hierarchy doesn’t want what we want because they don’t want to be held accountable. There is no way we should support candidates who want a highway mileage tax (where you are taxed by the mile for driving), supported cap-n-trade, supported the stimulus and took tarp money, were pro-abortion until they decided to run for president, pushed through the very health care system that obama copied, and the list of things they supported is much longer. They are trying to sell us a bill of goods and I’m here to say don’t buy it.
