One thing the Trayvon Martin shooting provided was an unambiguous performance of ignorance and race-mongering. It was also one of the few times that the public witnessed the well known race-mongers on the stage en masse. They have since fled the scene of their racial screeds, but I thought it worth the while to repost a syndicated column I wrote in 2003 about Jesse Jackson, that gives empirical incite into how well race-mongering pays.
Following is my column, “Jesse Jackson – For Blacks Or Himself?” It provides clear evidence of why these malevolent, hate-filled, elapids show up and spew their venom. It’s an incredibly well paying job, if a person is morally opprobrious to aspire to it. Tragically, none are so blind as those who will not see, but for those who will, here is the undeniable truth.
JESSE JACKSON – FOR BLACKS OR HIMSELF:
Over coffee and Key-lime pie, I posed the following to a colleague: “Name 10 things Jesse Jackson has done to tangibly help the black people he claims to represent.”
Two hours later, the question remained unanswered. It remained unanswered because Jackson has done nothing of consequence for anyone but himself and members of his family.
Exactly how has his intrusion into the NFL helped blacks? How many qualified blacks are in coaching positions today because of Jackson? Did Dennis Greene or Tony Dungy get hired and succeed because of Jackson?
How many blacks can truthfully say they tangibly benefited from Jackson’s shakedown of Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Paine Weber?
Many in the media know the merger of Clear Channel Communications and AMFM, Inc. was threatened by Jackson with trumped-up accusations of racism … that is until they forked over 46 stations, worth $2 billion to minority owners – minority owners who just happened to comprise the support base for the non-profits that pay his bills and organize his travels. Noah Robinson, Jackson’s half brother, was the principle beneficiary of Jackson’s Coca-Cola shakedown. Jackson successfully strong-armed the Cola giant to award lucrative distributorships to minorities. The recipients were once again those associated with his non-profit supporters. I am certain that all of Robinson’s fellow inmates (it seems he was sentenced to life imprisonment for hiring gang members to kill three business associates) are especially appreciative of Jackson on those hot, humid days of summer. After all, time “goes better with Coke.”
How many blacks benefited from the hundreds of millions Texaco paid to settle a discrimination lawsuit even though a “smoking gun” tape proved there were no racial slurs voiced by company execs?
Jackson’s Wall Street Project takes in approximately $10 million yearly. How much of that goes to blacks outside of his narrow network?
How many of the jeering black faces Jackson uses as backdrop benefited from his 1997 shakedown of Viacom? Once Viacom agreed to pay $2 million with Jackson as the principle recipient, all opposition disappeared.
How much benefit was Jackson’s extortion of the SBC and Ameritech merger to blacks in the Watts section of Los Angeles, Harlem, Cincinnati or Chicago? We know Jackson’s Citizenship Education Fund was pledged $1 million by the named mergers. We also know that Jackson’s “gumba” Chester Davenport, with no prior telecommunications experience, made off with a cellular business as a result of the deal. As Don King would say: “Only in America.”
We cannot point to a black NASCAR team or driver, but we can point to a black con-man who made off with a quarter million NASCAR dollars under the guise of producing the same.
We can point to the financial wizardry (spelled t-h-i-e-v-e-r-y) of Terry McAuliffe vis a vis Global Crossings, and Hillary Clinton vis a vis the futures market, but even they pale in comparison to Jackson.
Jackson claims to have an annual salary of $1 – but his plush lifestyle includes limousines, three lavish homes, sweetheart stock deals, big private bank accounts, first-class travel, private schools and the best universities for his children. (“Shakedown” by K.R. Timmerman)
This may be viewed as an acceptable way for corporate America to assuage their collective consciences. It may also be acceptable to blacks who would rather blame “whitey” and be the master’s pets waiting for handouts, than to realize they can obtain (what today passes for) education at free schools, learn trades, open shops, go to the best colleges they are not qualified for on scholarship (even if they can’t run, jump or throw) at the expense of someone who is.
Even Jesse James and Al Capone gave away many times that which they kept of their stolen fruit. But Jackson funnels his ill-gotten gains through his Citizenship Education Fund to his wife and children who serve as board members, while paving the way for his mistress to obtain a lucrative consultant job. And let us not forget his sons’ – Yusef and Jonathan – lucrative Anheiser-Bush distributorship.
To all of the Jackson sycophants, I ask you the same question: Name 10 things that Jesse Jackson has done to tangibly help individual black Americans.
To the rest of America, I ask you: How much longer will you sit quietly by, fully cognizant that your country is being torn away from you by thieves and vandals? Just how long? (WND.com; 9/16/2003)

We are involved in a lawsuit ( as reported by the NY Daily News ) and at one point it was suggested by someone, why not bring Jesse Jackson in to help us? , many of us were ready to walk out just on that note. This is a man who takes away credibility from people’s struggles with oppression and racism, all due to his greed. I am glad I was able to convince the guys NOT to even think about him getting involved with The Coke 16, as the Daily News named us.
Blacks and Hispanics and other ethnic groups, need to learn from history and see that Mr Jackson is out just for one person… you know who, no need to even say it.

Oh, Mychal… you just HAD to ask! I couldn’t resist naming ten things Jackson has done – although I couldn’t come up with even one thing he’s done to “Serve Black Americans” individually, I did come up with ten things he’s done that should make his supporters think twice about why they support him.
1. He serves as the perfect Johnny Carson to Al Sharpton’s Ed Macmahon.
2. He followed Michael Jackson around during his trial.
3. He sat “on stage” next to the Pastor at Whitney Houston’s funeral looking pious.
4. He ran for President and lost in the 1980′s (twice!).
5. He was in the parking lot when Dr. King was assassinated.
6. He leapt to defend the Duke LaCrosse team accuser and all but lynched innocent boys.
7. He’s led the *oh-so-successful* fight to stop celebrities from using the N-Word – which seems to keep rehab centers in business.
8.He met with the Kenyan President, as Clinton’s “Special Envoy,” to promote free and fair elections. (which eventually *served* Obama well)
9. He is “sick and tired of hearing about the Holocaust” and has served Jews by deeming NYC “Hymietown.”
10. He founded “Rainbow Coalition” to serve Blacks, Hispanics, Arabs, Asians Native Americans, farmers, the poor/working class, homosexuals, and, of course, “European American progressives who fit into none of the above categories” (ie; everybody else). It would seem that so far, he’s not *served* any but the first on his list.
Clarification: By “first on his list,” I mean, HIMSELF.

A few of us keep waiting for Al Sharpton to come back
to Durham, N.C. and make amends to the city were he caused a lot of turmoil to a lot of people and had some very ill advised college professionals lose their senses. In fact, sharpton life has been
of destruction and chaos. He is a Bully with no redeeming quality
and should be dismissed by the Black communities as having any voice.

A few weeks ago, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a black kid named Tyrone Woodfork severely beat an elderly couple, a Mr. & Mrs. Strait, who had been married for 65 years. Tyrone RAPED Mrs. Strait, and she died of injuries received at his hands. Mr. Strait served in the 101st Airborne during WWII. NO national media carried the story. Tyrone was arrested yesterday.
I supposed that if Mr. Strait had shot Tyrone, the whole country would know about the story. As it is, only Mrs. Strait died, so it’s not of interest to Brian Williams and the rest of the main stream media media.
Think about it. After 65 years of marriage. After serving our country. After 90 years of life, Mr. Strait has lost his wife to a rapist/murderer. NO ONE in the national media gives a flip. They’re interested in their wonderful hero, Trayvon Martin.

Tyrone Woodfork, arrested on murder complaint for beating death of 85-year-old Nancy Strait. Her husband, Bob Strait, 90, was also severely beaten.

A man accused of assaulting an elderly couple this month was formally charged Monday. Tyrone Woodfork, 20, was charged in Tulsa County District Court with felony first-degree murder, two counts of robbery with a firearm and first-degree burglary.
Bob and Nancy Strait were assaulted March 14 in their home in the 3300 block of East Virgin Street. Nancy Strait died March 15 from injuries related to the assault. She was also raped. Bob Strait is still recovering from multiple injuries and has been re-admitted to a hospital.
Woodfork was arrested March 15 after witnesses reported seeing the couple’s stolen 2001 Dodge Neon in the 3500 block of East Fourth Street. He remains in the Tulsa Jail without bond.
(By the way, If Obama had a son, would he look like Tyrone Woodfork? Just asking….)

This whole situation disgusts me. I just can’t see where it is a racial issue. The media has been so biased in reporting that I just don’t know what to believe as I have seen conficting information regarding what actually happened.
I think it would be best for Jackson and his cronies to step out and let the police, investigators, etc do their job. In the meantime, what do we do to repair the damage caused by the Jackson and Sharpton camp? Their actions continue to rend apart those who seek to work together.

That is as much as I could understand from a video because Jackson was unable to articulate and slurred his speech so much that it was difficult to understand him. I have only one personal experience with Mr. Jackson. When he was running for President, he came and spoke to the students at the Job Corps Center where I was working as Security Supervisor. Probably only a coincidence, but we had more inter-racial friction between students for a month after he spoke than we had had for the previous 6 months. Hm. I do not understand the minds of people who lionize him. How can a proven man of immorality be considered a good influence on our children, black or white? The answer to the question posed in your title is: Jesse is for Jesse, always has been.

Jesse Jackson has always been only for himself. When I met him in 1959 my first instinct was that he wanted to BE a white man. Just in the words he said, the words he wrote, (or tried to write) and in his actions. Everything was always about him, and envy was very evident.
