Why I Do Not Like The Obamas

The other evening on my twitter, a person asked me why I didn’t like the Obama’s? Specifically I was asked: “I have to ask, why do you hate the Obama’s? It seems personal not policy related. You even dissed their Christmas family pic.” The truth is I do not like the Obamas, what they represent, their ideology, and I certainly do not like his policies and legislation.

I’ve made no secret of my contempt for the Obamas. As I responded to the person who asked me the aforementioned question, I don’t like them because they are committed to the fundamental change of my/our country into what can only be regarded as a Communist state.

I don’t hate them per definition, but I condemn them because they are the worst kind of racialists, they are elitist Leninists with contempt for traditional America. They display disrespect for the sanctity of the office he holds, and for those who are willing to admit same Michelle Obama’s raw contempt for white America is transpicuous.

I don’t like them because they comport themselves as emperor and empress. I expect, no I demand respect for the Office of President and a love of our country and her citizenry from the leader entrusted with the governance of same. President and Mrs. Reagan displayed an unparalleled love for the country and her people. The Reagans made Americans feel good about themselves and about what we could accomplish. Could you envision President Reagan instructing his Justice Department to act like jack-booted thugs?

Presidents are politicians and all politicians are known and pretty much expected to manipulate the truth, if not outright lie, but even using that low standard, the Obama’s have taken lies, dishonesty, deceit, mendacity, subterfuge and obfuscation to new depths. They are verbally abusive to the citizenry and they display an animus for civility.

I do not like them, because they both display bigotry overtly, as in the case of Harvard Professor Louis Gates, when he accused the Cambridge Police of acting stupidly, and her code speak pursuant to now being able too be proud of America. I view that statement and that mindset as an insult to those who died to provide a country where a Kenyan, his illegal alien relatives, and his alleged progeny, could come and not only live freely, but rise to the highest, most powerful, position in the world. Michelle Obama is free to hate and disparage whites, because Americans of every description paid with their blood to ensure her right to do same.

I have a saying, that “the only reason a person hides things, is because they have something to hide.” No president in history has spent over a million dollars to keep his records and his past sealed. And what the two of them have shared has been proved to be lies. He lied about when and how they met, he lied about his mother’s death and problems with insurance, Michelle lied to a crowd pursuant to nearly $500,000 bank stocks they inherited from his family. He has lied about his father’s military service, about the civil rights movement, ad nauseum.

He lied to the world about the Supreme Court in a State of the Union address. He berated and publicly insulted a sitting Congressman. He has surrounded himself with the most rabidly, radical, socialist academicians today. He has fought for abortion procedures and opposed rulings that protected women and children, that even Planned Parenthood did not seek to support. He is openly hostile to business and aggressively hostile to Israel.

His wife treats being the First Lady, as her personal American Express Black Card (arguably the most prestigious credit card in the world). I condemn them because, as people are suffering, losing their homes, their jobs, their retirements, he and his family are arrogantly showing off their life of entitlement – as he goes about creating and fomenting class warfare.

I don’t like them, and I neither apologize nor retreat from my public condemnation of them and of his policies. We should condemn them for the disrespect they show our people, for his willful and unconstitutional actions pursuant to obeying the Constitutional parameters he is bound by, and his willful disregard for Congressional authority.

FAMSU160Dislike for them has nothing to do with the color of their skin, it has everything to do with their behavior, attitudes, and policies. And I have open scorn for their playing the race.

It is my intention to do all within my ability to ensure their reign is one term. I could go on, but let me conclude with this. I condemn in the strongest possible terms the media for refusing to investigate them as they did President Bush and President Clinton, and for refusing to label them for what they truly are. There is no scenario known to man, whereby a white president and his wife could ignore laws, flaunt their position, and lord over the people as these two are permitted out of fear for their color.

As I wrote in a syndicated column titled “Nero In The White House” – “Never in my life, inside or outside of politics, have I witnessed such dishonesty in a political leader. He is the most mendacious political figure I have ever witnessed. Even by the low standards of his presidential predecessors, his narcissistic, contumacious arrogance is unequalled. Using Obama as the bar, Nero would have to be elevated to sainthood…Many in America wanted to be proud when the first person of color was elected president, but instead, they have been witness to a congenital liar, a woman who has been ashamed of America her entire life, failed policies, intimidation and a commonality hitherto not witnessed in political leaders. He and his wife view their life at our expense as an entitlement – while America’s people go homeless, hungry and unemployed.” (WND.com; 8/8/11)

Oh, and as for it being personal, you tell me how you would feel if a senator from Illinois sent you a personally signed card, intended to intimidate you and your family. Because you had written a syndicated column titled “Darth Democrat” that was critical of him. (WND.com 11/16/04)

According to the April electoral college breakdown based on polling, Obama’s re-election is a done deal. Apparently, just like the Obamas, most Americans don’t think much of America either. The Downfall of the Greatest Country the world has ever known happened faster than anyone could have imagined.

    • Mychal April 29, 2012 at 8:20 pm #

ks: his reelection has been a done deal since his first one…the only voter fraud I see taking place is if romney were to win…and as the old adage goes “sandals to sandals in two generations” w/ that thought in mind I’d say we were long overdue for collapse…

A black perspective on the Obamas – He tells it like it is Au Contraire he tells it like he wants it to be.
This foolishness can hardly be seriously considered a Black perspective on the Obama Family. This is just the machinations of another handkerchief head Uncle Tom house Negro that has crawled from under a rock, who happens to be Black and is determined to do the bidding of the massa.

Let us examine what can best be described as the maniacal ravings of a retard afflicted with such severe pathological disorders, that they unfortunately render him incapable of ever being accused of cogent thought.

He states he does not like the Obamas. That is his prerogative. He then goes on to state he does not like his policies and legislation. What specific policies does he refer to? It is interesting that every malcontent and almost every politician that makes reference to the Policies of President almost never specify with any clarity, the particular policies they find so offensive. I understand the motivation of politicians, they are out to defeat President Obama or at the very least, further their own political agenda, this is to be expected.

On the other hand, what motivates this inane Troglodyte? He makes the preposterous claim that President Obama and his wife are “committed to the fundamental change of my/our country into what can only be regarded as a Communist state.” McCarthy-ism revisited.

This is just a pathetic attempt to tarnish the character of another by telling outright lies knowing that somewhere you will find someone stupid enough to believe the railings of a imbecile that are only intended to pander to the hatred of radical right-wing racism, bigotry and hatred as well as further the manifest agenda of a perennial loser.

Simply stated, I defy this dip stick to name with acute specificity one policy of President Obama wherein it is stated, or can be logically identified as being of Communist origin. I realize that I have assigned a task to this bird-brain which is the equivalent of asking a kindergarten drop out to define quantum physics, but hope springs eternal.

“Elitist Leninists” This is a contradiction of terms. If this mental midget had the slightest understanding of Communism, he would know that Lenin was an advocate of the proletarian order and consequently would only use the word Elitist as a pejorative.

Contempt for traditional America. Spoken about a man that pursues an agenda that supports the working man and woman. Instead of allowing 45,000 people a year to die from lack of proper medical care, He advocates Health Care for all.

Instead of giving more tax cuts to the top one percent, he advocates closing the loop holes that allow the super rich to pay a lower percentage of their income than the bottom 99%. He advocates that the rich should pay their fair share of taxes, instead of cutting Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Education, as the far right would do.

If advocating the implementation of policies and programs that will enhance the life style of the poor and the middle class, I am down with it.

This punk claims to demand respect for the office of the President of the USA, but tell me where was he when Joe Wilson called the President a liar in the state of the union address? Where was he when Michele Bachman called the president’s administration a Gangster Administration? Where was he when Marilyn Davenport an elected official of the Republican party and a tea party activist, circulated a racist photo of President Obama superimposed on the face of a monkey?

Where was his outrage and protection of the office of the President then? I can tell you where it was, it was in his anus next to his head.

Michelle Obama was on point when she said that she can now be proud of America. She was referring to a day in this country’s history when a Black man like this fool could not vote in some states. Black Sunday comes to mind. Those marchers marched for the right of this idiot to disparage the image of a Great Man and Woman. Yes I said it President Obama and his beautiful wife are Huge not because the now occupy the White house. But given their short history their obvious love of country are by any definition Great.

This back stabbing low life is the type of self hating stool pigeon, that would run to the massa and say massa them slaves is planning to escape, just so he could get a pat on the head for being a good Negro.

My Lord and savior says hate the Sin not the Sinner, I beg forgiveness for in this case I cannot differentiate between the two.

I am not surprised that drivel such as this has been displayed by the author, for if you look hard enough you can always find a snake in the grass.

I could go on but no, because the infantile rambling of this pathetic ass wipe are so self evident taking them apart is truly a waste of energy that can better be utilized in some productive pursuit. I think I may have made my point, for any that may not understand, I feel for you.

In closing I must say, in no way am I insinuating, that being Black requires that one vote for or agrees with President Obama. I have not been happy with several positions he has taken. For example, I will never understand why he did not aggressively pursue a single payer option in his health plan. Continuing the Bush Tax Cuts for the rich, to me was insane. But I am not president To disagree is healthy, however this maggot has used a lot of words to say nothing.

    • Mychal April 29, 2012 at 9:21 pm #

j lee: tell me why disagreeing w/ obama (my unapologetic contempt for them both notw/standing) makes me the litany of names you called me…but for future reference…whe you try to insult someone make sure they remotely care what you think…having said that take a deep breath, hold, and pull your head out of your behind…

        Hi Mychal,
just reading some of the posts again today made by your readers. I have noticed that J Lee keeps saying “state a lie and you have to tell more” or something to that effect. Well, that is EXACTLY what Obama has done, and keeps doing, so J Lee is very correct actually and probably has no clue.
And that contortionist problem he has, cranial rectal inversion, I see that often.

Mychal – My thanks for writing what I believe to be the truth. I’ve now seen three stories (including yours) about Obama going after individuals and using the power of the Presidency to do so. Why is he not facing impeachment for this or some type of criminal charges? He’s also going after small businesses like Gibson but that’s another story.

Great articulation of grievances toward the “King & Queen.” Myself being white, its difficult when everytime I express disapproval of Obama, liberals dismiss it as racism. Fact is its much as you more eloquently wrote it.

I disagree with race based justice – a crime is a crime and criminals need to be brought to justice regardless of their race. Re: Travyon Martin extravaganze goig on now – do any of the people making all the noise now recall what became of the white guys that dragged the black man in Texas behind their truck? at least one got the death penalty, justly applied.

The bolshevism, crony politics, politically targetted prosecutions (Gibson Guitars etc), skullduggery involved in the Chrysler bailout – all these things are so anti American its infuriating. As you stated, as I have said for 3 years – if he was a citizen with the right ot hold office, why the huge effort to suppress everything>?

Thanks for writing a good piece Mychal. BTW, my pick for president out of the initial Republican pack – Herman Cain. Not because of his race, but because of his self made status, repeated slavaging of major corporations from financial difficulty, personable demeanor – the kind of man I’d choose to be the CEO of this nation. I was greatly saddened when he dropped out (which was reportedly due to the death threats on family, not the paid bimbo parade they threw at him).

Bravo, Mr. Massie! You have hit on many of the reasons why Obama never should have been allowed in the White House to begin with. Anyone who studied Obama’s personality, Marxist philosophy, and background would have understood that he is totally unfit to lead a Democratic Republic.

Obama’s Marxist destruction of our national security, foreign policy, and economy has got to be stopped. He feeds the maws of the worst his party has to offer. He’s a corrupt little man with corrupt friends and associates. He was raised with a resentful grudge against America by communist parents and he uses his position to wreak havoc.

Amen to that, Mychal. I have been a Republican ever since I first voted at the age of 18 when there really was a Republican Party. Now they make a little noise sometimes but not enough to effect the changes we need NOW!! With the prez sending the ballots to be counted in Spain, the disinterest of the public, and the ineffectiveness of the Republicans I think we are in the worst position we could be. I pray that people will see the train wreck that is heading toward us and REALLY get involved. With all the tricks that BO’s people are probably putting into place, we have a lot of catching up to do. Our Republican representatives need to open their eyes, because if the continue this way, they will all be playing dead and those of us who really love this country will have not use for the AT ALL!! I had a letter from an acquaintance who had submitted it to several media outlook more than two years ago. For those who have an interest, he gave me permission to send it on to you:

    **********************************************************************

    To the Editor:

I am a black Christian man; I don’t consider myself “African American”, just a patriotic American. I served in the U.S. Armed Forces modestly and out of a proud and loyal citizen’s sense of duty.

My latest known African ancestry dates back to more than 300 years ago, when one or more of my ancestors fought on the losing side of tribal warfare. Other sub-Saharan Africans, they were then taken captive by and sold into slavery to Moslem slave traders, who traded them to Europeans who shipped them to the New World in chains.

I did not and do not support our president. I resent his unpatriotic apologies on behalf of my country, a country in which I have more freedom, opportunity, and respect than the descendants of those African ancestors who stayed behind in Africa. My family and I are far better off than we would have been had they stayed there.

President Obama, if you want to apologize, then apologize for your ancestors, people who captured and enslaved my African ancestors and sold them to Muslims. Apologize to me and my fellow Americans for them and for your Muslim ancestors as well. (Maybe Kenya would pay us reparations.) I would buy front row center orchestra tickets to hear that apology!

Obviously, I need to stay anonymous because of the hatred that bigots like Sharpton, Jackson, Farrakhan, and others would spew at me, my family, and my friends.

    Very Truly Yours,

    Anonymous

I just received your “Why I do not like the Obamas” and have to say Amen!! It is really sad that it will be a long time before this country dares to trust a black man for president again and that’s Obama’s fault. Yet as you say it has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with his race. It’s simply that his politics are so absolutely against everything this country was built on. I pray we wake up and don’t let him finish the job he started 4 years ago and get rid of him in November.

    Sir,
Thank you for saying everything that I have been sick about for a long time. I served in the US Army for 25 yrs and took an oath, the same oath that Mr Obama took. I would have been sent to Ft Leavenworth for acting as he has but no repercussions for a sitting president. I am sharing this link with as many people as I can so that they may understand who is currently running our country.

This is a good article and everyone needs to read it.
I did not vote for Mr Obama because I did not see anything about him that qualified him to be President of the US. He had no previous executive experiance. All we could learn about him was that he was a very short term Senator from Il. He was a community organizer. ACRON helped get him elected. He did not ever explain his most spoken word “CHANGE” and what it would mean to the American public. I thought he came out of nowhere as an “unknown”and rose to prominance much to fast for the position of candidate of President of these US. Who was sponsoring him to get there so fast/ Now we know. Soros. We knew too little about him then and we still know too little about him now. I certainly questioned who he was then and I do now. I wasn’t fooled with his great oral ability. He also has charming personality to win people over to his way of thinking. Obama did not win the election on being black, He won because he could out debate Mr McCain. That was it plain and simple. Obama’s great ability to speak got him into the WH. So now, everyone If you want to become President of the US, join the Toastmasters Club.

    • Mychal April 17, 2012 at 11:37 pm #

mary: forgive my coarseness…but I’m guessing you mean his “oratory” as in spkg ability…his oral ability is what larry sinclair accused him of…

Mychal–this is the best article I’ve ever read! You hit the nail on the head. My friends don’t understand my dislike or distrust of the Obama’s. Now I can refer to you article as to why I don’t like them. I agree with every thing you’ve said. Thank you for articulating it so well.

I’ll admit I voted for the man but was blinded by his smooth talking charm. I now see him for what he truly is and is not and can only pray he will not make it another term. God Bless You!

Now you know to pay no attention to what politicians say (in ads, debates, or whatever) but to pay very close attention to what they have done and are doing. Obama’s past spoke for itself, which is why I did not vote for him. Little he has done as president has surprised me, except perhaps bowing to foreign potentates.

You have put in one place so many of the objectionable things about the president, and one that bothers me a lot is his blatant lying at every self-serving opportunity and his disparaging of the electorate as a bunch of stupid people. Unfortunately too many of them don’t go to the trouble to check and believe him.

      • Nancy Bisset April 13, 2012 at 9:56 pm #

Mr. Mychal I have just read your article and all the comments and I am left with a deep sadness. Being a generational Republican and not knowledgeable about any history (love my vocal music only :) so when I voted sad to say I did so from a ‘if my parents think so and so is ok, that is who I chose’ (The Republican) The place I think most people vote. “buzz words’ “catch phrases” seem to be all we needed to choose; our churches influence a whole lot. This election changed my life because this is when blinders were removed.

I was fed up with the rhetoric used by every being on the ticket; Your head swam with the same stuff I am reading here. Since my man was of the same ethnicity as you dear Mychaf I knew what he went through in our area and did not like it. So when Obama was on the ticket I sat up. BLIND STILL. It was the only campaign I worked on; I changed my party so I could help. Well we had a victory but for Me ‘before he was sworn into office’ my bubble burst. I had BLINDERS removed from my eyes; truth because some being began informing me things were not as they appeared. Even those presidents I loved Reagan and other presidents that were not working for we the people; hearing both parties working together now promising that whomever got into office to ‘Not rock the boat; to keep the policies as close to what the other side worked so hard to keep in place.’ That both sides had the same bad eggs behind the scene.

Being new and wanting to understand all the information you shared Mr. Mychal; I want to take back the power I helped humanity loose; I am looking here for people to guide we that are just understanding what is really happening to our Country. I feel frustrated and very angry when I read here. Knowing that it is people personal opinions is the only joy in this; because I am tired of the public opinions that have been directed of We the People. It is time to step up and make sure our desires are heard; that the respect for humanity is returned because we each took responsibility for our actions and in-actions.

I will re-read these comments for what an education seeing people analyse debate and share knowledge; something I dream to do.

YES I GOT IT!!!! Obama was a really less then elegant choice; but at least in doing what I did; choose a being with the best intentions ‘wanting change so bad I had to do something’ then to find the choice you made was in question ‘traumatic.’ But one thing I learned Mr. Mychaf in my research that Nothing will be done for we the people because the congress and senate I feel are just stallers of time; NOT to allow things to really help humanity. My truth changes as I search; having these links like yours Mr. Mychal on my fb wall friends space; help have an open mind to help expand.

Forgive me if I do not do the correct format for this space. I shall study the way others do this and you may end up Mr. Mychal to know I AMMM serious and want to help humanity.

Thanks for allowing me to comment here. Yes appreciate any help in this new venture of coming to a space where debate and personal opinions can be respected. Proud to be an American and thanks Mr.Mychaf for sharing truths you understand. Nancy

Okay “Jason L”, you wanted proof (4.12.2012/3:28 AM posting)? What I ask is that you put down the Kool-Aid for a minute at your post on Moveon.org or some other organization of that ilk. Obama himself “wrote” (wink, wink–thanks Bill Ayers) in his books (Dreams From My Father; The Audacity of Hope) of his distrust of white people, his Grandmother included–how much of a leap is it from “distrust” to hate, especially after a lifetime of this indoctrination? Not much, especially with his lifeline background, including his questionable (when compared to mainstream America) associations–all very well documented–for those who wanted to pay attention to the facts, and not the rhetoric. Need I remind you of the Eric Holder decision (no prosecution) against the New Black Panther polling place case in Philadelphia? Need I remind you of the diatribe from the New Black Panthers and their bounty on Michael Zimmerman, and the silence by Eric Holder on this issue? Need I remind you of the Cambridge debacle when Obama defended his friend, Henry Gates, before he had all the facts (and stating as much, twice, “I don’t have all the facts” but stated the “stupidity” of the Cambridge, MA police department? I’m starting to get a case of carpel tunnel syndrome with this response, so I’m going to end it here because if you don’t get the picture yet, you never will. I am once again reminded of the big problem in American politics. It is bad enough that we manage to put the likes of liberal/progressive into office, but the big problem is those that put them into office. The former can be short-lived, but the latter is the bigger problem.

    • Jason L. April 12, 2012 at 3:28 pm #

Ok “Bob K” (hey, that rhymes!) You lay out a pretty good argument Bob. I’ve reflected for a bit on your argument to let it stew. It does paint a picture and it does begin to reveal a pattern of behavior, but it’s not quite convincing enough because most of it is arguable and not substantial enough to be a smoking gun of anything. I will keep it in mind though, and that is sincere because like I said, I keep an open mind and do not “think” strictly along party lines. Hard to do that when you don’t claim a party, ain’t it? Pretty good way of staying objective don’t you think? I’m not Pro-Choice because that’s the official stance of the left or Democratic party, I’m Pro-Choice because I realize a number of things like someone’s vagina is none of my business, for example. I’m not for getting rid of guns altogether, but I’m also not for every dick carrying one around in town and shooting everything. Maybe a reasonable amount of gun control is required here, good enough to keep weapons out of the hands of most criminals and prevent homicide. Oh my god! This sounds… reasonable? Let’s not pretend there is no more problems with racism in America Bob. Had a black man “accidentally” shot his friend in the face while doing ANYTHING, he would be in prison and you know this.

Everyone’s free to write or say something stupid, right? It’s not against the law to be stupid, and that’s good for the Tea Party! Tea Party darling Allen West, boy what a dummy. Used to be my batallion Executive Officer at Ft. Bragg. Do you know why he was forced out of the Army?

      • Mychal April 12, 2012 at 10:41 pm #

jason l: you’ve come to the wrong blog to pretend to be reasonable…you are no more reasonable than there is a man in the moon…I know exactly why Allen West left the military…and if the situation would arise again I would hope that there was someone that would do the same thing…suppose if you are able…you were in the forward group and Col. West hadn’t done what he did…you would have be in the grave now…because it was acknowledged that his actions saved the lives of the advance team…I personally interviewed then Col. West on my talk show the same day he was recognized as man of the year by Front Page Magazine…I was the first media person to interview him…I had long conversation w/ his atty…I became friends w/ his family…I prayed w/ him when his family was involved in a near fatal auto accident…I became familiar w/ his families history of service to our country…he and I subsequently became personal friends but I did not support his candidacy because he pro choice…that said this blog is open to reasonable persons who can agree and disagree…but I will not have it infiltrated and disrupted by obamanoids working as moles…if I find the rest of your comments as annoying as your previous I will block you from my blog…this is not a politically correct blog…I do not do nice…and I do not suffer the likes of you…and I’m not interested in what you have to say in response…because it doesn’t matter…charlotte I don’t care what you say or think…just understand this is not your domain…your guest privileges can be revoked at anytime for any reason…and I don’t give a wit if you don’t like it…

  33. Jason L. April 12, 2012 at 3:26 am #

Funny. Hilarious even. Desperate. Slanderous. These are just some of the thoughts that were racing through my head as I read this. This op-ed has all of the worst qualities of any literary work or attempt at logical critical thinking. Plagiarism too?

The claims in this entire blog are abysmal. The claim that we are becoming a communist country is not only unfounded and untrue, but offensive to me as an Army careerist who is sworn to protect and defend the Constituion of the United States. Obama is racist, really? Proof? How can someone who is biracial be a racist against blacks or whites unless they have publicly expressed hate?

Just look at it from a literary analysis point of view. Even though this is technically a personal/political commentary, everyone writing any work to be published still must quote the sources of information cited. Anyone whose ever been to school should know this. Second oddity: using a large font (in the email version) to give the illusion that the reader is reading a lot, and probably pandering to the disgruntled conservative elderly who can read it easier. Third abomination: hyper-linking the entire text for the email. This is something to do when you lack substance for a deperate attempt at slander. No person writing a real piece of logic and expecting to be taken seriously would pull this stunt. Then, the hyperlink only goes to a picture of Obama? What does that mean? Fourth literary absurdity: Trying to use too many “smart” sounding words in one sentence. Self-explanatory? Not for the audience it was inteded for, as this is only a tactic to WOO the reader who is looking for identity. Final problem: Boldening of certain words in your work which stimulates emotional mechanisms in the reader’s brain. Another tactic of herding people like cattle and trying to do their thinking for them. The piece boldens the words family, policies, American, and Country. What do you think his message is? Open mindedness, transparency?

This is the calling card of the worst our citizens; to publish pieces in which their closed-minded clientele cannot tell the difference between what is right and wrong. Slander is wrong, any conservative Christian should be able to tell you that, and this work is full of IT. Perhaps what this piece lacks is objectivity, because that is the only way you are going to sell an argument to an educated person who can see through your faulty logic. Life often leaves us in situations which lack right or wrong answers, and what this piece does in shameful deceit is to take it’s reader on the path of finding their intended answer while not carefully, thoughtfully, and objectively examing the opposite OR alternate information. Examing multiple alternatives and objectively weighing their pros and cons is the way you motivate people to make the right decisions. That sounds more like the Democratic party, but that’s neither here nor there and I can’t stand either one but it’s the one thing Democrats have over Republicans. Why do Republicans try so hard to appeal to the lower educated and religious anyway?

I would get lost in pointing out all the logical fallacies incorporated in this work; they’re far to numerous and that is no opinion, that is fact my friends. Do a little homework and broaden your critical thinking skills and you can see this from a mile away. For argument’s sake, think of it as our military; the more sophisticated weapons we have, then the more battefield effectiveness we can have and in incrementally lesser time. So, the better you are prepared for this kind of b.s., the easier you can spot it. What more of an oxymoron do you need than a black conservative anyway? Heck, any political scholar can tell you that the Republican party who freed the slaves executed a 90 degree turn about 60 years later, embraced southern white culture, and effectively reversed the political poles of America. The list goes on and on. But in the interest of being objective and transparent, is there a good side to this guy’s commentary? It’s definitely not a joke, that is clear. I can deal with jokes because jokes always have an obvious absurdity or exaggeration. What do you do when the entire piece is absurd? In defense, people will say “he’s entitled to his opinion”. True. So am I when someone tries to pull such an outrageous stunt like this. If someone wrote the EXACT opposite view of this paper, they would suffer from the backlash of that just as well as Mychal Massie should his work. Why bother to write a piece like this anyway? Does it solve or help any problem? What is his motif? It would appear only slander and public relations to degrade the current President are his motive. Now, what is my motive? Why would I write this, because I am pro-Obama blogger? I’ll vote like anyone else can, do not claim a party, and I don’t blog, so that must not be it.

The real truth is, the people who are trying to control information will always try to silence those who try to free information. Just as in the first post I posted here was deleted, so will be this one because when it comes to this type of ideology their motto is “It’s our way or the highway”. Can they not offer a thoughtful rebuttal? Are they not intelligent enough to defend their claims? These are the tenants of tyranny and authoritarianism. The only thing evil needs to triumph is for good people to do nothing.

As a matter of fact, this piece is perfect. It reaches out to its intended demographic with smart sounding logic and welcomes them in making them feel all warm inside and giving them comfort. It’s perfectly biased and small minded, and anyone with an open mind regardless of politcal alignment can see it in a minute. It’s funny how this ended as an email in my inbox with the subject line of FW: Audacity. An old First Sergeant (1SG) of mine at Ft. Bragg used to have a framed sign in his office with the word AUDACITY followed by the definition: Bold or Arrogant Disregard for Normal Constraint. It’s a nice definition but worthless if you lack the wisdom to apply it. This pretty much sums up this piece, especially the arrogant part.

Thank You for your service to our country.

If I may quote you: “Do a little homework and broaden your critical thinking skills and you can see this from a mile away”. This is excellent advice. Obviously you are a patriot, and have done your homework; so I am curious, and will appreciate your opinion: First, do you believe our country is presently in very serious trouble? Secondly, if so, do you think Obama is the best person to lead us out of the quagmire? Thirdly, if so, please tell me why.

      Sincerely,

      P.M.

I have truly enjoed reading the comments posted with regards to the article. I can also truly say that I am not a racist, nor have I ever experienced racists feelings but I am a “Realist” and what I have seen in the Obama Adminstration is shocking and unexcusable. For a President to play Robin Hood by taking from the hard working to give to the non-working, a President that bows to an oil terrorist in a robe, a president that carelessly wrecks havoc on our economy, while blaming the former is simply an indication that he is NOT A MAN but a PAWN. A pawn of Sores and other self proclaimed Socialist. When the truth finally reveals that Barak Obama is not a legally born American will the LEFT support prosecuting him to the highest extent of our Law, as they would if the shoe fit the other foot or will they schrug and say … Oh well he was a nice guy and fun to party with. By the way, I have been to many Zoos and have never seen them feed Lobsters to Monkeys.

      • Jason L. April 12, 2012 at 3:02 pm #

Peter, Thank you for your thoughtful and respectful response! It sure is lacking class like this around here. Well, fight fire with fire I guess.

Is our country currently in serious trouble? There’s no objective way of putting this. Obviously we’ve had economic instability but all indications are we’re now coming out of that. We have no current significant national security threat other than what has existed for a long time, and we’re gaining ground everyday and year on terrorism and extremism. It would be foolish to say that we can be 100% secure and that is our goal, it’s not realistic. Along with freedom and an open society comes some risks, but we know they’re well worth our freedom and liberty, right? That’s the way we’ve been running since our inception at least. The biggest threat I am concerned about now is China’s growing influence. It’s not necessarily a threat but we need to know what is going on and what they’re up to.

Is Obama the best person to lead us out of the quagmire? This is also subjective, in that comparing him to the current available leadership who actually want the job, he is the lesser of all evils. No person can be a perfect President, we should be able to remember back in our lives of every President being bashed and bad mouthed. If I had been able to vote in 2008, I would’ve voted for Obama. But wait, had I been politically active in 2000 and voted in the Republican Primary for Ohio, I would’ve voted for McCain, and then Bush as President. Each party gets their chance of congressional majorities and sitting Presidents to screw the country up in their favor for several years. If they do a good enough job or fake the funk well enough, we may give them more time. But sooner or later, and it doesn’t matter which party is in office, we are going to get sick of them and tell them it’s time to go. It’s our way. So, like I said had I voted in 2000 I would’ve voted for Bush since he sealed the Republican nomination. And had I not been an idiot and voted in 2004, I probably would’ve voted for him again. By the time you’ve been to Iraq for your third time, you begin questioning things if you have an open mind. So, over the course of his second term, I became strongly oppposed to Bush because I began to see what he was really about through his track record. Obama does not have a bad track record, and the things that folks like this “Mychal” guy keeps poking at are usually unfounded, or they’re at least petty and small in nature most of the time. Again, I know Obama will make mistakes, and he has. But also again, the lesser of all evils. I could not vote in 2008 because I was in the process of redeployment, and when my ballot was in the mail and we were close to going home, they had already cut off our mail to be redirected back to our home station in Germany. I’ll probably vote Obama this year, but I sure wish people would wake up on Ron Paul.

Thank you Peter, for being a decent person who can have an intelligent convo without insults and condescending talk.

        • Mychal April 12, 2012 at 10:46 pm #

jason l: so are we now sucking our thumbs and going waa-waa…playing one against another…obama being the worst possible person to lead out of the mess he created is not subjective…

          • Jason L. April 13, 2012 at 5:02 am #

Mychal, Still having a hard time telling the difference between subjective and objective knowledge huh? That’s ok, at least you know about the problem even though your narcissistic personality disorder won’t consider it. Kind of a hard thing to prove, ain’t it? Saying Bush was a good or bad president is SUBJECTIVE Mychal, regardless of what we think. It’s only your opinion, do us all a favor and learn what the difference between your opinions and facts really are.

P.S. I work alone Mychal! Apparently I did not make that clear earlier. However, I did make it clear that I’m not an automaton of any political party. I’ll be here until the first of two things happen: you’ll realize you can’t beat me and bar me somehow even though I doubt you can since you’ve already said you did; or 2. I realize that I have nothing left to learn by arguing with you because I have graduated to moveon.org (thanks Bob) and will antagonize Liberal hairy vegan lesbian women and girl dudes or some other step up the evolutionary chain from you. Guess you were absent the day they taught critical thinking in all of your supposed degrees.

      • Mychal April 13, 2012 at 1:22 am #

peter m: are you and jason l cousins or both from the same group…ti seems curious that of all the true and bonafide patriots and military persons on my blog you pick the one who is most antithetical to opinions and observations voiced here…

        • Jason L. April 13, 2012 at 5:30 am #

Mychal, Mychal, Mychal. Don’t you see how being “antithetical” makes you more diverse and grow? First of all, I’m not anti-thetical to your views, I’m just anti-thetical to your overall lack of wisdom and class. The fact is you love to make outrageous claims and when it comes time to defend them you say uh… um… etc… Like I said earlier, it’s obvious you don’t write your own material because we can see how you are out here on message boards in the real world. Why don’t you try engaging your enemy, instead of taking stabs at them from the shadows? Get out and debate more, where mutual respect and honor take precedence because we are civil human beings. Stop the name calling and pretentious condescending behavior; it’s really sad. I’m here to fight closed-minded political automatons and to hone my own debating and critical thinking skills, it’s that simple.

Jason, You wrote a lot of words, You said nothing… what a waste of your time and everyone else’s. Obama is a fabrication, a manchurian candidate, bought, paid for by the Soros, Bilderberg group who want the fall of capitalism, your freedom, your ideas. How can a man with no experience, no optimism, no hard bark, no tolerance. get to be president ? Really ? Obama would lose to the clerk at your local market in a true debate, And here’s another fact. Is Joe Biden a capable second ? NO WAY, again, rigged. get prepared for your house being taken, your business being taken, your SOUL being taken, BTW, I studied Russian history, It’s EXACTLY the same

Wow, just wow, is this place full of narcissistic behavior. You just personified that by saying what you’re saying, but because of your problem, you will never realize it. Talk about sad. REDIRECT! Ha ha…

        • Jason L. April 14, 2012 at 6:54 am #

You know another thing, the mind will believe what it wants to believe when it is not open. This seems to be the prescription around here. When your values covet paranoia, narcissism, and xenophobia, there’s no end to what you’ll believe. You’ll justify it somehow. All initial actions should be taken as noble, then and only then after you’ve been burned and can establish a pattern, should you begin to question things.

  35. ThomNJ April 11, 2012 at 12:35 pm #

    Mr. Massie,

I first heard of you while watching PJ TV quite some time ago – thought you were wonderful and still think so.

I read as much as I could about obama prior to the 2008 election. I decided pretty quickly he was not the guy for the job. While reading a book on my way home on a train from Manhattan in early 2008, a guy in a business suit sat next to me and tried to start a conversation with me about obama. I did not know this man, and I did not wish to discuss politics with a stranger – especially since he was rudely interrupting my reading. After he spoke for a few moments and insisted I say something, I told him very politely that I would give him one reason and one reason alone why I would not vote for obama. I said that I will never vote for a communist. The guy looked at me and said, “So, are you a racist?” I told him that our conversation was over. Some liberals are just too far gone to be able to converse without insulting someone. It’s just about all they have.

    • Mychal April 11, 2012 at 7:25 pm #

thomnj: the amazing things is that he skipped over communist and branded you a racist…you should have asked him to explain if you how not voting for a commie made you a racist…

      • Jason L. April 12, 2012 at 3:44 pm #

That is funny why he skipped over communist and went straight for racist. Sounds like he had weak thinking and oral skills. However, I would’ve taken issue with the communist remark. While doing a little research, I learned something. It is not illegal to be Communist in America, as for some reason I had thought I learned in the past, and there is a party; albeit a very, VERY small one. However, even if one of their own rose to become POTUS, he still can’t change the fundamental government or Constitution, so after four years he would be voted out trying to do so. Is Obama about to be voted out? Is that because he is communist (undeclared), or will he win because he is communist (undeclared)? Or maybe, JUST MAYBE, he’s neither and the best person for the job at this moment in history? Can the GOP seriously not put anyone better on stage? They have one good one, Paul, but nobody takes him seriously! What kind of party is this? We’ll need a GOP President after this because every party screws up the country for a few years and the other has to take over to tip the scales. Please, PLEASE GOP, get your act together and stop playing petty games!

        • Mychal April 12, 2012 at 10:05 pm #

jason l: gop doesn’t need to get its act together…the people need to get their act together and stop reelecting the same garbage…

          • Jason L. April 13, 2012 at 3:45 am #

Yes Mychal, you are correct. Why do you just keep rephrasing what I am saying? If you took the time to reach out instead of reach in you would see that you usually at least agree on the problem. It’s clear now that you do not write your editorials, you don’t possess the writing or oral skills for it. If the people need to get their act together and stop reelecting the same garbage, then the GOP needs to quit putting garbage on stage. Garbage in, garbage out!

        • BrooksJ April 14, 2012 at 3:48 pm #

I do agree with one thing you said here…Ron Paul is the BEST candidate for the job. And no, he is not taken seriously, for what ever reason.

          • Mychal April 15, 2012 at 7:53 pm #

brooksj: jason l. and peter m. are obamanoid moles…they are part of his truth so-called truth squad who were attempting to infiltrate and cause trouble of my blog…they have been blocked…

      • BrooksJ April 14, 2012 at 3:47 pm #

I have told my wife for years that I did not feel that America has truly had a candidate for president. By that, I mean that America has not had a well rounded candidate; there is always some really big flaw. One that cannot be overlooked. Furthermore, this nation continues to elect politicians due to lack of statesmen. This country needs to bring back the statesmen. We need a resurgence of men and women who place the country before themselves and vote with their hearts and not with their wallets. Until we return to the basics and bring back the original statesmen, who were gentlemen also, this country will consume itself from the inside out.

        On a different note:

Jason L.: In an earlier post you stated, to paraphrase, that you felt gun control would keep weapons out of the hands of criminals. Where do foster that belief? As a police investigator for over a decade, I can tell you that the criminals are not buying their weapons at Academy Sports and Outdoors. They are buying them off the streets. By placing more controls than those that are already there, you are essentially just making it harder for the law abiding citizens to obtain ways to legally protect themselves from the criminal element. The only way to stop criminals from committing home invasions and robberies is to make it a law that every household should maintain a firearm for home protection. That way a suspect knows ahead of time that by going into the house he runs the risk of having his head taken off.

You also made a comment to the effect that you hoped they got rid of Medicare/Medicaid and Social Security because you were not currently using it. If you are a good person and you go to work everyday, you will not use it…until you retire. They actually need to completely revamp welfare, putting in place more checks and balances to combat fraud and theft. That would save the country a lot more money than getting rid of MM and SS.

I have said my piece. I am sure that you, Jason L., will come back being ugly and uncivil, like you have with anyone else that has taken an opposing position to your own, which I would like to point out is common among ignorant people trolling these sites.

        • Mychal April 15, 2012 at 7:58 pm #

brooksj: I liked your comments back to jason l…that said he has been identified as part of obama’s truth squads (an oxymoron if there ever was one) and has been blocked…it’s a true saying that if guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns…

  36. Jason L. April 11, 2012 at 4:15 am #

Funny. Hilarious even. Desperate. Slanderous. These are just some of the thoughts that were racing through my head as I read this. This op-ed has all of the worst qualities of any literary work or attempt at logical critical thinking. Plagiarism too?

Just begin with a literary analysis. Now, even though this is technically a personal/political commentary, everyone writing any work to be published still must quote the sources of information cited. Automatic F. Anyone whose ever been to school should know this. Second oddity: using a large font (in the email version) to give the illusion that the reader is reading a lot, and probably pandering to the disgruntled conservative elderly who can read it easier. Third abomination: hyper-linking the entire text (in the email as well). This is only a classless, deperate attempt at slander. No person writing a real piece of logic and expecting to be taken seriously would pull this stunt. Then, the hyperlink only goes to a picture of Obama? What the h? Fourth literary absurdity: Trying to use too many “smart” sounding words in one sentence. Self-explanatory? Not for the audience it was inteded for, as this is only a tactic to WOO the reader who is looking for identity. Final problem: Boldening of certain words in your work which stimulates emotional mechanisms in the reader’s brain. Another tactic of herding people like cattle. The piece boldens the words family, policies, American, and Country. What do you think his message is? Open mindedness, transparency?

This is the calling card of the worst of the worst of the Republican party; to publish pieces in which their closed-minded clientele cannot tell the difference between what is right and wrong. Slander is wrong, any conservative Christian should be able to tell you that, and this work is full of IT. Perhaps what this piece lacks is objectivity, because that is the only way you are going to sell an argument to an educated person who can see through your false logic. That would be the calling card of the Democratic party, but that’s neither here nor there and I can’t really stand either one but it’s the one thing Democrats have over Republicans. Why do Republicans try so hard to appeal to the lower educated anways?

I would get lost in pointing out all the logical fallacies incorporated in this work; they’re far to numerous and that is no opinion, that is fact my friends. Do a little homework and broaden your critical thinking skills and you can see this from a mile away. For the small minded, think of it as our military; the more sophisticated weapons we have, then the more battefield effectiveness we can have and in incrementally lesser time. So, the better you are prepared for this kind of b.s., the easier you can spot it. There is no political or information background required; only an open mind. What more of an oxymoron do you need than a black conservative anyway? Heck, any political scholar can tell you that the Republican party who freed the slaves executed a 90 degree turn about 60 years later, embraced southern white culture, and effectively reversed the political poles of America. The list goes on and on, and I’m not even going to receive a grade for this! I’ll vote like anyone else can and I don’t blog, so that must not be it.

As a matter of fact, this piece is perfect. It reaches out to its intended demographic with smart sounding logic and welcomes them in, making them feel all warm inside and giving them comfort. It’s perfectly biased and small minded, and anyone with an open mind regardless of politcal alignment can see it in a minute.

Truth is a big pill to swallow/ You are more worried about fonts and capitalization than the meat of the topic, who is really desperate here?

      • Jason L. April 11, 2012 at 1:37 pm #

Lol, guess you missed the point that there is no meat, just pure propaganda. The point of font or capitilization is to illustrate why they are used. They are critical to a biased irrational argument which lack any kind of real rhetoric. Desperate? No, I have no motive here except to uncover those who attempt to hide truth and replace it with talking loud. I don’t give a crap about the Democratic party, the Republican party, etc… I only care about discovering universal truth which this entire site seems to lack a lot of. Truth is a big pill to swallow, hahahaha… so we’re really becoming a communist country huh? Guess my job is about to change a lot! Let’s see what the Commander has to say, lol.

Your opinions are forthright and well expressed. They are shared by many and not just Americans either. While the mass media is still worshiping the royal Obama’s, it is heartwarming to read commentary that isn’t politically correct. I didn’t vote for Obama and took a lot of guff from my friends who were great supporters. Even many of them now wish they had the hindsight I did. If enough Americans wake up, Mr. Obama will be a one term President and historians will certainly have a field day revealing his Presidentcy for what it was and who he truly was.
