‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

George Winfield Is TDR's Racist of The Month

February 28, 2014

While there were zero contestants for TDR’s January “Racist of the Month,” there were close to 50 to choose from for February. It seems that my February 4, syndicated column titled, “What You Won’t Hear During Black History Month” sent racists of every description into an apoplectic frenzy.

The criteria for “Racist of the Month” are not predicated upon name-calling exclusively, albeit, name-calling certainly will get the racist strong consideration. Consideration for the “Racist of the Month” is given to those who do not immediately engage in name-calling and also to those who do not call names but who embrace and espouse aberrant heterodoxies that have long been disproven. Such was the case with a gentleman named Alan Parker.

Parker was the leading candidate for “Racist of the Month,” which would have automatically qualified him to be selected as “Racist of the Year,” until late afternoon Thursday, when something on his ministry website gave me cause to believe he was just poorly informed and clinging to misinformation and lies under the banner of being informed. But anyone who writes “This world i which we are born does not mandate a status quo society, but instead we are given a set of choices that causes both negative and positive results” deserves the benefit of doubt, at least temporarily.

DjBigFernando launched into a vulgar racist screed on twitter which had him also briefly in the running. Then there was the typical array of the uninformed, unlearned, and unstudied who found comfort in their ignorance and who were oblivious to the points I was making. Don Flemming, Scooter Livingston, LS Bell, Mataro Mackall, and a host of others were just clueless. And Alice Bulger was upset because I called Obama a pathological liar.

But the person who earned the “Racist of the Month” award for February is (Drum-roll please) George Winfield. He is the clear winner. His selection was not based exclusively on name-calling but based on his deep-seated aversion to factual history, his refusal to embrace modernity, and his two-faced, oleaginous, and smarmy insolence that leads him to pontificate on issues about which he is uninformed to a fault. And even more egregious, his allure is serpentine to the point that he is able to lead the similarly uninformed into antipathy toward whites and all others who do not ascribe to his black-centric philosophy of immiseration, victimology, and we shall overcome — when the truth is black people have overcome. But people like him keep them from seeing it.

Congratulations George Winfield you are TDR’s “Racist of the Month!” His litany comments can be read at http://newdailyrant.wpengine.com/ by typing “What You Won’t Hear During Black History Month” into the search box and then scrolling down to comments.
