‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

A Special Thanks On Our Birthday

August 1, 2012

July 16th Mychal-Massie.com turned one year old. By every measurable indicator, our first year has been a tremendous success and it is specifically because of you. Your loyalty, readership and support have made all of this possible and I want to personally thank you.

I was informed earlier this morning that within the next couple weeks we will surpass one million website page views. That is an extraordinary first-year accomplishment considering our humble beginnings.

In this first year, I was blessed beyond measure to be able to add Dan Bubalo and Jerome Lukas.

Since my days in talk radio, I have wanted a person to discuss money and politics for me and I could not have found a more qualified and knowledgeable person than Dan. He understands money and the politics of same like few others. Many of you have commented to me how much you enjoy his work and what a complement he is to the blog.

Jerome’s political cartoons have added another dimension to the blog. His artwork is second to none. I wanted a cartoonist who would complement the blog and become an integral part of it and Jerome fills that role perfectly.

My Daily Rant has had quantifiable impact in the political and social debate. The Daily Rant enjoys readership around the world and is followed by media worldwide. We are quoted by program hosts, et al, in every level of media.

Thanks to you, the Obamas were forced to address issues we raised our voices about even if they were not completely deterred. Your letters to the White House to express outrage at the over-the-top spending and arrogant disregard by Obama’s wife forced them to make public statements that were in direct response to your letters.

Fox News continues to not return phone calls or make a public statement, and we continue to demand they fire the radical racist, Obama crony and ACORN leader Jehmu Greene for her intentionally racist on-air insults directed at Tucker Carlson. We also to ask ask for apologies from Megyn Kelly for even now prominently showcasing Greene after her racial insults.

The Daily Rant focused on Greene’s racism and her subsequent appearances on Fox News without public apology–when we were all well aware that said would never have been tolerated if she were white.

But the area in which I am most proud and eternally grateful is that Mychal-Massie.com is having a tangible effect in the discussion of race. It has empowered and encouraged people to discuss race in an open and forthright way without fear. And we’ve not stopped there.

Last year I determined I could no longer participate in issues of race as they were being addressed. I had reached the point that I could no longer ignore that segregative institutions and organizations were in fact contributing negatively to the message needed to truly make a positive difference–even though in most cases their intentions were noble. I had reached the point that I could no longer align myself with those who, regardless of intentions, were engaging in segregative, hegemonic, race-based assignations.

My conviction was and is based upon biblical principles. Race-based assignations and race-based distinctions serve only to divide us, not bring us together as a nation of Americans. My point being, if we are all Americans instead of hyphenated-Americans and race-based communities cleaving to racialisms based on past injustices that in reality most cannot factually claim is divisive and exclusionary.

Thus Mychal-Massie.com was born. I am pleased to say that in this first year you helped establish a beachhead to begin this dialogue. With that accomplished, I am pleased to announce that seed money has been raised to begin the next step. Accordingly, in this our second year, we have established plans for realistically bridging the racial divide. We will be working with community outreach in a way that, to my knowledge, has not been approached before. Your prayers and support pursuant to this effort are paramount.

There are, also, of course, political concerns and the wrong path our nation has been steered onto. As always you can expect Mychal-Massie.com to address these issues as they arise. We will be adding weekly videos on subjects of interest, as well.

As many of you are aware, we have been under attack by Obama’s so-called truth squad (an oxymoron if ever there was one). They have, on several occasions, crashed the site, and they have taken the unprecedented steps of going so far as to corrupt my syndicated columns by adding vulgar, racial language in an attempt to marginalize my voice, especially to blacks.

I would like to take a moment to address how you can continue to help. First, you can pray for us, our goals, and that we will continue to put God first in everything we desire Mychal-Massie.com to accomplish. Second, you can sign up for my “Daily Rant” and share Mychal-Massie.com with your friends, colleagues, and contacts. Third, you can arrange to have me speak at your event, to your group or company, and/or your church. Fourth, you can contact me to find out how you can participate in my new effort “Frank Talk About Race.” And last, you can choose a level of monthly support to Mychal-Massie.com.

I would be remiss if I did not mention the cutting edge work of Cutty and Powers. They are singularly responsible for the design, creation, minute-to-minute maintenance, as well as the many features you enjoy on the website/blog. Cutty and Powers is wholly responsible for creating and shepherding through the process with  the Mychal-Massie.com app for Apple, Android, and Windows mobile phones. (just visit http://newdailyrant.wpengine.com with your smart phone!)

I would like to thank those referenced here and anyone/everyone I may have missed. I would especially like to thank the many people who prefer to work tirelessly and anonymously in the background, without whom Mychal-Massie.com would not be as successful. DAH of all the blessings you are a special one.

Finally, I would like to thank all of you once again. You have no idea how much your words of encouragement and prayers mean on a daily basis. I feel as though I know you personally even though we have never met. I genuinely look forward to responding to your comments and interacting with you. Sumitch, Marylin, Wakinyan, Gunny, Kristin, Betrayed, Vietvet, Norlyn, Elaine, Larry, Patricia, Trask, Roni, Cowles, Ed, SunnyVee, Noah, our new readers and anyone else I missed, thank you so very much. Your comments and responses are always spot on. To those not mentioned, it was not for a lack of appreciation. You are all the best any blogger could ever hope for much less actually interact with daily.

Sincerely,
