Boehner And Republicans Are Helping Obama Destroy America

Boehner And Republicans Are Helping Obama Destroy America

We’ve become very adept at blaming Liberals for the state of the nation and the decline of our lives and freedoms–and why not? We have so-called Conservative politicians telling us that’s what we should believe.

I will be the first in line to justifiably condemn the bevy of Socialist-minded Democrats assaulting our freedoms. But truth is truth, and blaming Leftists as being singularly responsible for debt, deficits, entitlements, government intrusion, ad nauseum fails to take into account that Republicans are no less responsible. The Republicans are just as responsible, and just as guilty as the Leftists whose mission it is to, as Obama vowed just before he was elected, “fundamentally change America.”

Have We The People been betrayed and are not our traditions being subverted by Leftists? Of course. Has Obama led us to the very brink of collapse in his commitment to transmogrify our nation into something that would make Marx and Lenin proud? Absolutely, without question.

But Obama has had a committed group of electeds aiding and abetting his treasonous assault on our freedoms and it’s not ipse dixit when I say that. John Boehner, Mitch McConnell in the Senate, the RNC, and Karl Rove are as responsible for our decline as the Socialist Leftists and Barack Obama, if not more so. And I will tell you why.

Liken it this way: if your dog chews your furniture, people that care about their homes take steps to correct the dog’s behavior. If the dog decides to double down and start messing on the floor in addition to continuing to chew the furniture–depending on the temperament of the owner–the dog would find itself abandoned on the side of the road, chained to a box outside, in an animal shelter, or any number of other avenues (all much less humane for the rebellious animal). That said, responsible dog owners would have foreseen the potential for their new dog to be out of control and would have taken preemptive steps to avoid it or corrective steps the instant the dog became a problem.

That is exactly what the Republican leadership should have done. There was no question what kind of “ruler” Obama was going to be, or at least there shouldn’t have been. They should have known that McCain had as much chance of defeating Obama as an empty bottle did of talking. In the absence of that recognition, they should have been prepared to hold Obama in check by Constitutional constraint. But while this (Obama) dog chewed the furniture–it then began to mess the floor, because it felt like it.

That may be a raw analogy, but that is exactly what has happened and what is happening. Obama is a Marxist-Leninist and Republican leadership needs to acknowledge that because by not doing so they cannot prevent him from “fundamentally changing America.” The Republicans have shown no leadership to rein in the Marxist-Leninist juggernaut in office. They have capitulated to virtually his every command.

To say Boehner has been ineffective is like saying your feet will get wet if you walk in a creek. Boehner was ineffective in the debt-ceiling debate and the payroll-tax debate. The Republicans refused to use Obamacare as reason for change in Congress during the 2010 elections because they were afraid of how the media would portray them. So the Tea Party groups used it to bring about the most dramatic change in Congress in some seven decades. That led to Karl Rove attacking our efforts and then later being forced to apologize for his words (disingenuous though it was).

As I pointed out in yesterday’s Daily Rant, Boehner is doing all in his power to undermine the ousting of Eric Holder because he and the Republicans are more concerned what the media will say than they are committed to doing what is in the best interest of We The People.

Obama has committed any number of impeachable offenses and yet the Republicans do nothing. Obama is destroying our country and the Republicans haven’t done a thing to stop him. The illegal gun smuggling and illegal gun dealing reaches to Obama, Hillary Clinton in the State Department, and Eric Holder in the Department of Justice–but the Republicans did nothing and still do nothing. And please don’t fall for the idea that they’re holding hearings. Those hearings remind me more of Jimmy Carter dealing with the Ayatollah Khomeini than they do a realistic way to impeach and indict the three people who had to sign off on Fast and Furious. Obama has bragged in public here and in Mexico that he instructed Holder and the State Department to come up with the plan which we have come to know as Fast and Furious.

America is in a mess, but, if we are to be honest, we cannot blame it all on Obama; we must blame the Republicans as well. And I argue we must blame them more because to those who know what is right and do not do it, the offense is greater.

This is so interesting. Just yesterday I filled out the Republican questionnair regarding who I feel is best suited to run for President. I returned the questionnaire and wrote across it "I am leaving the Repubican Party because they put up a decent fight to begin with but, as I said, "they always talk the talk but never walk the walk, so I'm through." Unfortunately, there's nowhere to go, except Independent.

The main enemy of We the People, and the one which will ultimately
result in the total loss of freedom in America-I believe-, is:

If We the People on a national basis do not return to the old tried and true paper ballot, which can be audited and kept under lock and key for the future if needed, then we moght as well order our “Big Brother” subject’s uniforms now, and avoid the “November Rush” !

It is my personal experience, that most of the informed people I have asked about those running for President, say they would vote for Ron Paul if given the chance ! Unfortunately, We the People will never get that chance !

Boehner’s non action and the Democrat protection of the President should remove any doubt from anyone’s mind that Congress is working for the party first, themselves second and their “campaign contributors third. We the people are a far distant consideration if we are considered at all. If we are considered it’s going to be around election time. They know that if they aren’t the chosen of the party, they’ll never make it to first base. Working for themselves is simply staying in the job by voting the way the party and the contributors tell them. We rarely hear from them until election time and then it’s usually begging for money.
All we hear is the same old tired lies from basically the same lying people with their $1,000 suits and free haircuts. I wouldn’t be surprised if the suits weren’t being slipped in the expense reports under “meals, others” and “Refreshments”. The Republicans are no better.
They all are far more interested in personal good press and staying in the club than doing their jobs. We are weeks away from elections and it’s the same thing all over again. The politicians throw some rocks at their opposition and then yell how they are going to fix the economy or close our borders to illegal aliens or reduce the debt or pull out of the war etc. etc. etc. But not one of them will tell us how. They don’t because they don’t have a clue how to do any of it. They haven’t been told yet by their handlers. And we gathered around and yell our approval like good little monkeys and clap like they’ve just revealed the secret to the fountain of youth.
At the end of the day the bottom line (note the Obamaism) is that we are at fault. At fault because we believe them and vote them in or more likely back in. We had a few new Congressmen and women last election and they stirred the pot for a while at first, but where are they now? They’ve been whipped into shape with threats of not getting a committee assignment or certainly no party support or a seat at the head table. We hear cries for term limits, but that’s never going to happen like we want it. That is, automatic after X terms; you get a bus ticket home. That would mean they would have to vote it in to law and that’s asking them to give up their job.
We have the authority and power to force term limits, but it rarely happens. It’s far easier to slug down a cold beer and watch some stupid reality show on TV than it is to pay attention to what is going on and maybe do a little research into what you are not being told. I’d love to see another election like last were a goodly many bit the dust and were replaced. But the chances of that happening are about the same as getting more people to vote. Not much.

I received this email today and this may not be the appropriate place to share it; however, it’s so profound that I had to anyway.

    “Subject: The perfect Quote

This article was written in the German owned Czech newspaper The Prager Zeitung by a reader of the paper back in March 2010…I not only feel it is profound, but frighteningly accurate…We need to change course dramatically in November, or we are on a course to emulate Europe…

    The Perfect Quote

Some people have the vocabulary to sum up things in a way that you can quickly understand them. This quote came from the Czech Republic . Someone over there has it figured out. It was translated into English from an article in the Prague newspaper, Prager Zeitungon.

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their President.”

There are, of course, no statesmen anymore…only politicians, some a bit less self-serving than others. The standards have fallen so low that anyone who isn`t too evidently venal, or flagrantly progressive, or who`s record isn`t too sharply in contrast to the pap he feeds his constituents is touted as some sort of nobleman. I received the results of the “Tea Party elections” with a very jaundiced outlook. It was all fine that a bunch of Libs were ousted and the House recaptured. But, like the old saying, “What have they done for us lately?”…or at all for that matter. The Administration does pretty much as it pleases, and none of the T. P. geldings is heard from to any real effect. O, some statement may be made here or there, mostly ignored by the media. But, what action is ever taken against some of the most egregious and unlawful shenanigans committed by ANY administration? It`s all the same bag of snakes, far as I see it. I fear for my country, even if the ‘Conservatives” do win back the presidency.

There is a logical reason that Congress is the proud owner of an approx. 8% [and falling] approval rating. THEY EARNED IT. The administrave branch has been put on a pedestal far too long. HOLDER AND documents/emails/whatever proof of F&F need to be subpoenaed and get this over with. The Senate being Democrat majority is understandable why they don’t work with The House of Representatives because Republican majority. But, whatever happend to ‘common sense?’From what I’ve read, legislature from the House sits in Reid’s inbox, never touched, unless it pleases the Democrats and the president. This, however, doesn’t excuse Boehner from doing the right thing and nailing illegal or criminal arzzes. Thanks for this Rant, Mychal. It’s refreshing for you to expose the Republicans for what they truly are; especially after Katie had the courage to put her life on the line to produce her proven investigation of Fast and Furious. Other than “The Amateur,” by Edward Klein, Katie’s book is icing on the cake!! I wonder if Boehner can read? His non-actions show him to be an ignoramus but I know he isn’t. Perhaps he never lost the bartender attitude to just listen and not offer an opinion; some bartenders lose their jobs when they “upset” their customers. I think he should go back to bartending.

I have known what Boehner was for a while. Several months ago, after a speech, Boehner and Biden were laughing and slapping each other on the back, joking about the Republicans were barbarians at the gate.

Congress, for most of the members, has become nothing more than an exclusive lodge for politicians who thrive on celebrity status, seek favor from the press and colleagues, and have the ability fake performing as a public servant while running for reelection and under the cover of legislative bargaining acquiring a fortune before retiring with huge taxpayer funded pension benefits. What did I miss?

I completely agree with Reverend Mychal Massie that Republicans, myself included, are just as reponsible for the catastrophic condition of our country as Obama and the Democrats. Republicans haven’t put up much of a fight to reign in Obama’s Marxist “fundamental change” in America. To the contrary, they have contributed towards it.

Liberals are, well, LIBERALS. Conservatives are supposed to be conservative but there hasn’t been much evidence of conservatism in the 2010 Republican controlled Congress and House Leader John Boehner. He’s a great disappointment. We expected much more from a republican controlled and led House of Representatives that hasn’t done anything but represent itself.

The failure to pass a bill banning sex-selection abortion is an example of Republican failure to represent “we the people.” The Congressional Investigation of Fast & Furious is a joke, to say the least. The May 30 deadline given to AG Holder and the DOJ to produce many other documents has come and gone without any response.

Your piece yesterday led me to send the follow message to a raft of friends:

After having read this article (, I called Speaker Boehner’s office (202-225-0600), and spoke to one of the people in his office. I delivered the following message:

I am (identify yourself and where you live), and I am calling Speaker Boehner in his role as Speaker and as a leading spokesman for the Republican Party. I am encouraging him to follow up on the failure of Attorney General Eric Holder to produce the subpoenaed documents related to the Fast and Furious Scandal by the date designated by Congress with a citation for Contempt of Congress. If he does not take this action, he does not deserve to remain in his current position as Speaker of the House of Representatives. We need strength, not weakness from our leaders. We do not need leaders who are more concerned with what the press will say about them than in doing what is right for the country.

I encourage each of you to make a similar phone call, and to encourage others to do the same. If they do not hear from us, they will not act!

I know that I heard back from several people who indiocated that they made the call.

Your article today reinforces the sentiments that you expressed yesterday, and are much needed.
