Obama recently compared himself to Gandhi. I know, I know, I darn near sprayed my mineral water through my nose when I read it. Maybe it’s his narcissism, maybe it’s his congenital mendacity, but he may be better served comparing himself to someone he actually shares something in common with, but I’m getting ahead of myself.
Obama, is an appalling fraud, and he is the faceplate of today’s American Communist movement, but he is no Gandhi. Gandhi, was a man of means, who after witnessing the suffering of his Indian countrymen, committed his life to helping the poor and truly disenfranchised. He walked away from all of his earthly riches, taking a personal vow of poverty.
When Gandhi witnessed people living in squalor, people starving, people suffering, he spoke to them people about responsible lifestyles pursuant to the world they lived in. He called on them to stop having children until they had overcome the economic realities of the world they lived in. But, he didn’t call on them to murder their children. Obama advocates baby-killing as means of population control and because from the depths of his bowels he is a person without a moral compass.
Gandhi, took a vow of poverty, but Obama encourages his racialist, mean-spirited wife to live high on the taxpayers hog. Many Americans have been unemployed for two, three years and longer. People are loosing their homes, and countless numbers are literally going day to day trying to figure out to buy cereal and rice. That’s not hyperbole, it’s a fact.
But Obama’s wife spends $50,000 at a time in exclusive exotic lingerie shops, she spends $15,000 a day for the same makeup man Oprah uses. She wears $500 sneakers, she takes a private presidential jet rather than she a presidential jet with her president husband. And Obama says nothing. Well, he did tell one suffering husband to get a cheaper car that gets better gas mileage, and he laughingly told another to just get used to the high fuel prices. How much like Gandhi does that sound to you? Gandhi would never allowed the conspicuous arrogance and consumption as his people were suffering.
Gandhi was opposed to violence, Obama supports the violence of the Wall Street occupiers, domestic terrorist Bill Ayers and his wife police murderess Bernadette Dohrn are the Obama’s closest friends. Michelle Obama hated America and harbored animus toward other blacks while at Princeton, because they refused to embrace her resentment and bitterness of white students. Their so-called pastor cursed God and America, Gandhi loved India and his countrymen, and he did more than unzip his mouth to emit limp platitudes intended to satisfy those dumb enough to believe him.
Obama is the most mendacious, narcissistic, congenital liar, in the history of modern politics. He makes Clinton look like a paragon of virtue, decency, and truthfulness. Gandhi gave great consideration in regards to how he could live economically. His diet consisted of goats’ milk, fruit, and honey. The Obama’s tell us that we must become used to shared sacrifice while they go out to lavish dinners, $35,000 a plate fund personal fundraisers, and trips to Africa, all at the expense of the people. Michelle Obama studies what she will next shove in her mouth to eat like a heroin addict studies where her next fix will come from.
Gandhi didn’t play golf, he didn’t bow to despots, dictators, and apostates. He opposed the British salt tax, Obama lives to raise taxes. Gandhi was imprisoned for years for attempting to deliver his countrymen, Obama preaches the killing of babies and the execution of elderly who are sick vis-a-vis death panels put in place by his illegal healthcare mandate.
Obama has also compared himself to Abraham Lincoln, Nelson Mandela, Ronald Reagan, and several other presidents including of course, FDR. And in a spectacular show of unmitigated ignorance he has compared himself to Jesus.
My contention is that if Obama wants to compare himself to a Biblical person he should compare himself to the King of Tyre in the 28th Chapter of Ezekiel. For those not versed in scripture, the King of Tyre is likened unto Satan. With that said, I am confident that that is a comparison even his associates would agree with. After all, Saul Alinsky called Satan a great community organizer.

God says in the Bible,that he will blind the eyes and harden the hearts of those who turn against Him. He was not specifically talking about the United States of course, but I believe this is a universal law, like gravity. We have turned away from Him as a nation and will be, and in many cases already are, blinded to Truth. There is no rational reason why Obama would ever be re-elected, but I bet he will be. Oh Lord, if the people of this nation repent and humble themselves and seek your face, I pray You will hear from heaven and heal our land. Amen

Tyre is an excellent example Mychal!! Sadly, the remains of Tyre can still be seen – under the clear waters into which it fell. And, just as God stated, it won’t be good for anything other than the drying of fishermen’s nets – which is also still done today!!

There’s a book out there called “Come Nineveh Come Tyre”. It’s a good read and worth any spare time you might have to read. Not to give it away completely, it’s about a President that trusts Russia (that tells you how old the book is) too much. The tale ends with Russian bombers flying over the capitol. It made me so mad I threw the book away (and I’m a hard back snob with a personal library too large for me to have in book shelves). Glad I didn’t give it away.

Biblically speaking, I think the Obamas are more closely akin to King Ahab & Queen Jezebel – :-)! Gandhi certainly is not one of Obama’s influences – that hits closer to home in the guise of Ayers/Dohrn. He is every bit the 60′s radical for a new generation, and boy, he learned his lessons well from those aging communists. Call them out for what they really are- if only the populace at large would wake up & see who’s not spreading the wealth – namely, the Obamas’ and their Obaminions in Congress, Unions, Universities, etc. It’s time to make the 50% (more or less) who pay no taxes to start paying their fair share!!
I’m one of the worthless bums that pays no taxes Chris. You know why? Because I’m having to exist on social security (which I paid for all my life) and a very small VA pension which I guarantee you isn’t enough to justify being shot at. I’ve worked all my life, paid my taxes, done my duty and saved for my retirement because I know that social security was never intended to be a retirement fund. That doesn’t make me any kind of model to hold up or person to praise. Then I was one of the lucky ones that had everything they had stolen by the criminals heading Enron. And they were facilitated by our government that will pass any law you want so long as the “donation to their election fund is big enough”.
Try to pick up the pieces when you are 56 and suddenly over qualified, over educated and over the hill (read that the insurance for you will cost us too much, so we’ll hire someone younger.
There are people that have done nothing to try and better their lives and are living much better than I because they know how to game the system. And there are some people like me that don’t pay taxes because they don’t have enough money to tax.

My late father was WWII (Normandy & Battle of the Bulge) and I grew up hearing his stories-which I regret not getting recorded somehow, but I was too young & dumb to appreciate the living history I had in front of me. Did you know the Enron bigwigs were thick w/ the Clinton administration. Ron Brown took them on several commerce trips to China (in exchange for campaign contributions, of course). When he was ready to blow the whistle, he was murdered in that plane crash in Yugoslavia. I’m almost in the same boat as you right now w/ being over-qualified & over-educated (by the way that book “Come Nineveh, Come Tyre” sounds pretty interesting.)I was ordered to take a position I didn’t want or resign – I’ll play along for now. I live close to 2 Section 8 housing developments & see how the people exploit the govt handouts. They drive better cars than I do & boy, what I wouldn’t give to get back over 6k in taxes for having a kid outside marriage! When I try to counsel them on setting the monies aside for the kid’s schooling, etc thru good financial planning, I get brushed aside as they spend it down on worthless electronic crap. Makes me livid as I deal with real people who have to close CD’s just to pay their prescriptions and who are really struggling.
Your dad saw real horror at Normany and must have been scared out of his wits by the Battle of the Buldge. I had a cousin that died there I never knew. Patton, as you know saved the troops there with his tanks. My dad hated Patton. Said he got sick of eating their dust all across Africa and up through Europe finally into Germany. He was a ground pounder coming in after the tanks did their work. Always have to have boots on the ground. The closest thing to either of them I experienced was TET II and where I was we was mostly left alone. Too hard to get at and not enough of us to make it worth while. Besides, the need for OP’s was pretty much moot during TET. Everyone knew by that time what was going on. We saw it guilding up for weeks on the Ho Chi Mein trail with the increase in munitions coming down from the north. Rarely was there any direct contact for us, face to face. The idea was to not be seen, and we were pretty good at it. You can hide in someone’s just mowed front yard with a good gillie suit. Still, sneaking around the bush alone had it’s unique drawbacks.
It always amazes me that we’ll charge all over the world fighting wars to bring democracy to their governments while we have politicians as corrupt as any and they get a pass.
Enron big wigs were also tight with the Bush’s. George H. W. used to land his helicopter on the pad on top of the building to pick up Ken Lay for a round of golf. Everyone of them can be bought. It’s just called something other than graft when it’s given to their re-election campaigns.

Barry Soetoro and wifey Michelle do their evil and expect the American people to swallow every word and action hook line and sinker. Right or Wrong and usually wrong, Soetoro/Obama mandates without any concern about the consequences to anyone. Nacissism is an evil trait/condition and Obama can’t help himself. He has been brainwashed during his younger years and is determined that communisim/marxism is the only way to control the people and Barry to become rich and true Dictator. A Gandhi he isn’t. Soetoro/Obama is not even electable according to his live birth certificate, real or not. Father was not a US Citizen when he supposedly fathered Obama II aka Barry Soetoro. Lulu Soetoro was never a US Citizen if he did indeed adopt Obama who became Barry Soetoro. So, as far as I’m concerned, the House of Reps are not doing their job of impeaching Soetoro/Obama on the grounds of inability to become a US president. With or without Sheriff Joe’s and Andrew Breitbart’s proof, the live birth certificate has the data. That’s the way I see it. I pray there will be a huge upset in November election if the House will not follow through with their duties prior to November. And, it will not matter who wins because there will be very disappointed voters. I have a feeling that Soetoro/Obama has this calculated and down to a science. If he doesn’t win, do you suppose he will become an “Occupier.”

This article hits the ball out of the park. Thank you Mychal for once again verbalizing our feelings accurately. I am also concerned about our Congress…they are all in the self protection racket with few exceptions (Congressman Allan West, for example). It may or may not be the “last days” as foretold in the Bible, but our shining country on the hill is rapidly sliding down the hill into the abyss. The President is at grave fault but the Congress and the liberal judges are helping him any way they can.

I just read the 28th chapter of Ezekiel, the comparison is uncanny. It bothers me when some people believe that God appoints and annoints all nation leaders. In Hosea, chapter 8, verse 4, God scolds the Israelites for appointing Kings He did not approve of. America is also guilty of this sin. As Christians, we must do better this time around.

I really like today’s heading. In the same vein as “I may not know what’s good, but I know what I like”. If there’s anyone that has had an impact my life, it’s Obama. If there’s anyone that will have an impact on my life (including ending it) it’s Obama. All he’s done that affects me has been negative. Sure he was the President when our Seals did their work, both in Pakistan and at sea rescuing the hostages taken by the Somali pirates. But that would have happened regardless of who was at the helm unless there would have been a commander-in-chief that would have stopped them. I can’t imagine that being done,
I feel like I’m standing on the shores of the river Styx waiting for Charon and it’s scary. It’s not my time to cross but those that are supposed to be my protectors are not to be found.
Am I supposed to believe that most in this country that support him are for his death panels? Do they really understand what the impact of his energy policy will have on their lives? Haven’t they read about the empty shelves in the grocery stores in soviet Russia? Are they blind to what he’s doing or don’t believe it? I just don’t understand how this is happening.
We live in the finest country that God has ever allowed and are watching it’s foundations being destroyed like a spectator sport. Why is congress just sitting around doing nothing? How can the Secret Service protect him? It seems as if everyone that has taken an oath to this country had their fingers crossed. But what are we supposed to do? Your last question has brought millions of Americans to their knees, Sumitch. Democracy is not free and we have to keep fighting for it. If you have the opportunity, go to YouTube and type in “The Prayer” by Bocelii and Dion. It will give you some kind of peace and hope…as well as the Bible, of course. Then, we go from there each day and do what the Constitution tells us is right to do. Keep writing letters to our elected elite and no matter how many or not returns we get, keep writing to them. Keep phoning them. If no one does anything about the evil that is going on in Washington D.C., then we are doing the evil. The elite will think that everything they do is just fine with the people they are supposed to be representing if we don’t tell them otherwise. The Prayer: “Let this be our prayer, I pray you’ll be our eyes…and help us to be wise…”
This country is being taken over by Obama and his band of crooks. I understand what you are saying Marilyn. I don’t need to be told that democracy isn’t free. I suspect I’ve paid as much as anyone here for it. What is being said in my comment isn’t looking for some reading and praying advice to follow. I’ve practiced that all my life too.
What I’m saying is that everything we’ve been told isn’t working. The people that are supposed to stop it from happening are nowhere to be found. Our congress is a bunch of see no evil, hear no evil and say no evil cowards, interested in nothing but themselves and their cushy jobs and saying their prayers hoping that they’ll still be the anointed elite when the country is lost.
Obama and Holder are working right now to de-franchise key states via suits brought against them that “are not providing a “fair chance to vote to the poor and lost” or whatever title Barry is hanging on them this week. ACORN and Project Vote are alive with the same people that were caught last time and being financed by our government in direct conflict of the laws that Congress passed. They know it, they see it and still they do nothing.
This isn’t some pipe dream I’ve come up with. The proof has been found and reported by Judicial Watch, which is a long way from a bunch of wild eyed prophets of doom. Their report is free to anyone that asks for it. When our congress and legal system isn’t doing anything but hiding, the question is “What are we supposed to do”? Our system of governance is falling apart. Our elected are nothing but a bunch of slack jawed cowardly liars.
If this next election is won by Obama or stolen (it doesn’t make any difference which), we can hang it up and head for the hills, or hang around and watch it being sliced and diced. I know what I’ll do if and when the time comes, and it won’t be falling to my knees to have my head chopped off. I’ll leave that to the people that think that will save our nation and the good people in it.
I’m not directing anything I say towards you specifically Marilyn. There’s a time for prayer and a time to “Water the Tree of Freedom”. There’s a time to fish or cut bait. But there’s not going to be a crash of thunder and bolts of heavenly lightning coming down to smite our enemies. What we’ve been told all our lives isn’t working.

You’re right Dennis. He could change. But that would be as amazing as seeing a snake stand up and walk. He’s not going to change because he likes what he is and believes in what he is doing.
I keep asking the same question as you pose. When is Congress and our Judicial system going to change and do the most important job they have to do; defend this country. They can argue about the little things as they are when the real job is done. But they aren’t doing it. I’ve asked face to face with my Representative and one of my Senators. From one I got the answer “It’s harder than you think”. The other looked like a mad man was ranting in front of him. He just smiled, shook my hand and walked off saying “We’re working on it”.
Problem is that this Narcissist will not change. That “behavior” has been ingrained in his head by many establishments,influencial teachers and readings including a commie mother and a whoever the father may be. At young age, kids sometimes are given praise when praise is not due. That screws up their heads and they think doing something wrong or not right is acceptable. That is only the beginning. It’s one thing to help build a child’s self-respect and confidence but another to approve and applaud poor behavior. To a commie mother, a child deliberately creating trouble for other children is acceptable. It could be labeled ‘bully.’ It goes on from there.
Repeat a lie enough and it becomes the truth. If he isn’t an example of that (in HIS mind) I don’t know what is. Completely without portfolio or acomplishment with nothing to offer but his high soundling lies, he has duped millions. And he thinks he deserves it.

The Supremes are taking up the case against Obamacare. Should they find it unconstitutional, what then? We’ve already seen that Barry O pays no attention to the law when it doesn’t suit his need. And I wonder who would arrest him if needed? The FBI? The Secret Service? When I see that I will fall to my knees because I’ll be laughing so hard I won’t have the strength to stand.

Several points.
1. The old line about how “we all look alike” is still in effect today just modified. We are all supposed to “think” alike.
2. Never trust any politician out of Chicago. Though in fairness I must give Rahm Emanuel credit for the school decision. There’s the exception that proves the rule.
3. Never trust a man whose wife doesn’t ake his last name, and ve wary of said wife. (Bill Ayers, maxine Waters, etc.)
4. Remember to rejoice when the obaminations are out of office!
