It’s called the freedom of speech

Ya’ know, it’s really getting on my nerves listening to program hosts and talking heads pooh-pooh and whine about those not speaking in warm, flowery speech. Yesterday I heard a talking head on FoxNews whining about Newt Gingrich saying, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd should be in jail. Typically, I watch Fox Business Channel, but for some reason FBN was having issues, in my area at least.

So there I was, with FoxNews on the screen not five full minutes, when this talking head started to whine and distort her face because Newt was…well…Newt was Newt – and Newt doesn’t do kiss-kiss, nice-nice, nor does he suffer fools well. What I couldn’t understand is what part of Newt’s statement was so offensive – they do belong in jail for their parts in the housing market, countrywide mortgage scam. The talking head I reference dated Anthony Weiner for goodness sake, I didn’t hear or see her voicing objections over his wild and over-the-top screeds. This wasn’t the first time she had expressed objections to an accurate comment a person made – each time I’ve witnessed her make such objections, it has been directed at a conservative.

People like her need to wake up and smell the coffee of the real world. And, they need too be honest, because I don’t hear them whining and pooh-poohing when liberals go over the top. I’ve seen the person I’m referring to on numerous different shows and quite frankly she’s just annoying.

Hank William, Jr. made a valid observation on Fox and Friends, and a person would have thought he dropped his draws and went to the bathroom on the set. C’mon already. What about the English language bothers them. Are we really to believe they actually believe the nice-nice speech they blabber about and feign insult over, or is it just when a conservative says it.

This is America, illegal aliens are permitted to burn our flag, Muslims are permitted to have their teaching in taxpayer funded public schools, when American children aren’t permitted to give thanks for their food – and these people are telling me Hank Williams, Jr. making a valid and some may argue a true statement is so bad. The apoplectic, knee-jerk, hysteria these people display is appalling, and they might want to rethink such offensive pretentiousness.

The people on Fox and Friends aren’t saints, so why behave like tin angels and turn on Hank. In the final analysis Hank has had the last word and has laughed all the way to the bank, after ESPN and Monday Night Football got their pink panties in a knot. I debated the president of the Philadelphia NAACP on a Sunday morning Philadelphia television show a few days after ESPN had fired Rush Limbaugh. One year after that interview, the same NAACP president had changed his tune and was ostensibly saying the same thing I had said when we debated.

Liberals and pretentious goody two-shoes, need to get over themselves and their duplicitous double standards. One day, they will wake up and realize socially engineering people as to what to think and say doesn’t work. I know that probably bothers them, but for goodness sake whoever said the truth wasn’t blunt force trauma at times. Many of the cable news networks are mini-Peyton Places. They need to clean up their own houses before they start whining about people speaking the language of America. Who are they to tell us what to say? I submit they’ve been in a bubble to long, they need to come out and get a bit of oxygen. Because they obviously have lost sight of the fact that we are watching them and it might be time they start realizing we may not be to impressed with their acts.

    Well said Mychal.

That is my sentiment exactly and has been since I can remember making concious decisions about what I think of the world.

So who is this female Fox talking head that you mentioned, who dated Anthony Weiner? Ugh!

My issue lately is O’Reilly at Fox News, he mentioned early that Herman Cain had no chance to win the nomination, and then he placed a wager with Dick Morris that he would not win it, right there on TV.

Now he takes every opportunity to discredit Herman, trying to hedge his own bet and make sure he’s never wrong (make news rather than report it?). I don’t consider that to be his job, and I despise him for it. However, I continue to watch him, avoiding all his commercials with TiVo fast forward, because he is entertaining, and usually on the right side of things.

Mychal, good reading. I would like to add a shortened progression which has allowed the “talking heads” to become so bold.

Entrenched statist policy, over time, numbs the mind of the hearers – its an evolving process. Eventually the statists have a dependent ‘crowd’ that does not think for itself and this permits emotional concepts to trump reason.

‘Freedom of speech’ becomes a tool for statists/liberals to spew their poison and enables them to use their emotional tactics to defeat right thinking and reason.
…..(It is very difficult for a man of reason to win a public debate with an emotionally driven opponent – reason requires a line of objectivity – an equation, if you will. The liberal/statist will disrupt the chain of reason with emotional attacks and destroy the point.)

The more minds that are ‘numbed’, the more bold the statists/liberals get and the more statist policy is legislated; then the ‘crowd’ grows larger and more dependent on gov’t … and votes for the politician who promises them the most from the public treasury. The liberals gain more power and get even bolder – it’s a vicious cycle. It’s like a slow growing cancer eating and destroying our freedom from within.

If not stopped: As liberals gain more poewer, statist policy reachs a point of self-perpetuation with no return – only anarchy remains to restore freedom (…or, God forbid, a dictorship may result).

Right thinking folks need to stand up….. here’s to an awakening of reason in America to put the liberals on display for what they really are before it’s too late.

If you want to really be freaked out, do a search on Brookfield Properties (they own Zucotti Park in NY). Check out who owns them, where they are out of AND how much funding they got from the current administration just days before the protest began. Then, hold on to your sanity – what you see happening now is geared to be a whole lot bigger and a whole lot worse come Spring!! To understand what is really happening and what is planned, read the book: The Coming Insurrection. Better to be informed and prepared – the snow and ice may run them inside but, look out as the weather warms. This is just the beginning!!

lotow: I’m currently reading a good book “The Coming Collapse of the American Republic” by Robert A. Hall…you can purchase it on my sight…also every penny of the proceeds goes to charity to help wounded troops and their families…if you are able plz either post the information you reference or send to me in email…I think everyone would benefit from knowing that which you indicate…

Very true!! It really doesn’t matter how it is said, they don’t agree with it and thus it is wrong, should be stifled and then they enlist others’ help to bully that individual into thinking their way.

Back to O’Reilly and Hannity if I may. First I’ll play nice and compliment them on the donations they make to our armed forces. Let’s see now. There was another compliment but I’ve forgotten. Both of them put words in peoples mouths and then set there and yell at them about it. I don’t think I’ve ever heard one of their guests finish a statement without being interrupted (except of hearing Hannity tell every one how hard he had it and how the oh so cute and smart Ann Coulter) and yelled at. I get sick wonderfully he has done without any help at all. A self made man and a true American hero in his eyes. I am equally sick of O’reilly telling the world how big and tough he is. My dear departed dad used to say “The bigger they are, the harder they fall”. I’m also sick of his smug, at least twice a week compliment to himself about going to Harvard. Harvard should pull his diploma if he has one and if he does I’ll bet it’s in basket weaving. I will admit that I’ll watch O’reilly on Wednesday because Dennis Miller is usually on and I have always found him funny. I’ve likened them both to a prime time Jerry Springer show without the fake physical fights. I know they are rich. I know that O’reilly is number one in his time slot, I know that everyone that calls Hannity is “A Great American”. But i”m wondering how long they are going to have to repeat it to convince themselves. Arrested development with visions of self importance. I do like Megan Kelly though.

sumitch: I have nothing to do w/ hannity…he helped sharpton sabotage my challenge to debate him and two other race-baiters…they ran away from me like I was the plague…but sharpton and hannity had a pretend debate that gave sharpton complete cover instead of facing off against me…I view hannity as a pretentious self aggrandizing ideologue who had a chance to make a difference and he blew it…
