‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Jesse Jackson Shilling For Muslims

November 19, 2013

My personal assistant briefed me last evening on Jesse Jackson’s latest purse snatching, headline grabbing venture.

Jackson recently told Arab-Americans to fight for their rights because as minorities they “are the new America.” He encouraged them to “love yourself” and “stand up and fight back.” As is always the case with Jackson, accusations of civil rights abuse is as commonplace as his marital infidelities and out-of-wedlock children. So it comes as no surprise to anyone when he raised the specter of racism pursuant to Arabs being watched at airports calling same the “madness of racism.” He told them they “must not retreat” from racist Americans who are trying to deny them. He also told them “You are God’s people.”

It is appalling that a person so bereft of any semblance of integrity would be the public face of encouragement for Arabs in America, but, that said, it should not be surprising that the face of extremism would shill for extremists.

Jackson is the very epitome of a failed husband and father. His record of service to God is right there with such lofty records of the likes of the most epic liars and infidels since before the time of Christ. I would submit, if Muslims were truly interested in being accepted as a phlegmatic and pastoral, non-aggressive people they would have chosen better than Jackson to get that message across.

But then Jackson might, in fact, be the perfect shill for them. Who knows better how to extort and abuse a system than Jackson? Who knows better how to prostitute skin color and ethnicity for gain than Jackson?

If Muslims want us to forget about their unprovoked slaughter of thousands of innocent Americans on September 11, 2001, they might find an advocate who is not as universally despised and condemned as Jackson to level accusations of racism and civil rights violations against a public concerned for its safety.

Additionally, it would be helpful to their cause if Muslims weren’t murdering innocent military persons and their families on military bases throughout the U.S. It would help if they weren’t bombing buildings, and maiming and murdering innocent people at public sporting events. It would help if they weren’t placing bombs in their sneakers and underwear attempting to murder hundreds of people aboard airlines. It would help if their women showed more concern for themselves and their babies than to place explosive compounds in their baby bottles that were intended to kill themselves, their babies, and everyone aboard an aircraft.

Until Muslims get a handle on those things, I submit that it is neither racism nor the violation of their civil rights to watch them more closely and to scrutinize their behavior more critically than others when we are in airports. Their track record of terrorist attempts speaks for itself.

I do agree with Jackson that Muslims should “love yourself” and that they should “Stand up and fight back.” But I agree in a different context. If Muslims had regard and love for themselves they would respect women and treat them as equals who are capable of great things given the opportunity. They wouldn’t murder their own children with bombs. They would “Stand up and fight back” against those Muslims who are pledged to destroying America and murdering her people. They would fight back against rogue imams who preach hate and xenophobia. They would embrace America as a land and people who have opened their shores to them and availed them of all the opportunities inherent herein.

Muslims would keep in mind that the track record of wherever they have migrated, be it Scandinavia, Europe, Malaysia, Australia, etc., has resulted in their becoming the scourge of society to the extent that in some cases countries have found it necessary to consider ways to limit their influx into the country.

Jackson has been the equivalent of a contagion on the fabric of America, and yet this is the person Muslims have chosen to address their concerns. Muslims are not “new America” — they are what America has worked diligently to escape. They are about ignorance and hatred. They are about forced compliance. They are about subjugation and indenturement. America has had the good sense and decency to overcome said legalisms contrary to Muslim governments.

America isn’t against Muslims, as such. America is against what they represent, and support, if only by their silence. When Americans visit or move to Muslim countries we are expected to conform to their laws and to obey their mores and customs. Why should they not be expected to do the same thing when they come here? This is the United States of America; we are not forcing Muslims to come here or stay here. They are free to leave en masse right now, and they are free to never return. But if they want to come here then the very least they could do is show appreciation for what our forefathers fought and died to provide for all persons who sought freedom and sanctuary here. They are not welcome to defile what our country was built upon, or the blood that was shed for the freedom of all who come here.
