‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Michael Jordan Calls Obama "A Sh***y Golfer"; I Say That Applies To Him As President Too

November 8, 2014

The day before one of the most embarrassing off-year election drubbings in modern history, Obama couldn’t have been more disinterested; after all, he still had his “pen.” What was clearly on his mind however, were the comments made by Michael Jordan about his golf game.

Michael Jordan, in an interview with sports commentator Ahmad Rashad, was asked who he would like most to play a round of golf with; and if he would include Obama in the foursome. Jordan said: “I’ve never played with Obama, but I would.” Jordan, after thinking about it for a moment, backtracked saying: “But naw, that’s OK. I’d take him out. He’s a hack. Man, it would be all day playing with him.” Jordan said, that “Obama was a slow, terrible golfer.”

So, probable election results be damned, the thinned-skinned, snake-oil salesman with the donkey smile did what any irresponsible president would do; he wormed his way onto a Wisconsin radio program called “Eye On Golf” with Kyle Porter.

[adsanity id=8405 align=alignleft /]You’ve heard it said that you don’t spit into the wind and you don’t pull on Superman’s cape, especially when the Superman is Michael Jordan. But, hey Barbie, I mean Barry, like so much of what has happened with you in office, you probably just didn’t get that memo.

Asked by Rashad, who obviously has a higher opinion of Obama than Michael Jordan does, “Do you really want to say that to the president of the United States? That he’s a hack?
Permit me a moment to point out that Rashad empirically shows that for many blacks even telling the truth about Obama’s golf game is viewed as racial sacrilege. But I digress.
Without missing a beat, Jordan responded, “Yeah [I do], but don’t worry about it. I never said he wasn’t a great politician, I’m just saying he’s a shi***y golfer.”

By the time Obama did the sports show, he was obviously seething and couldn’t wait to rebut the legendary Jordan’s observations. He opined: “Michael wasn’t very well informed about this. I think he might’ve just been trying to give Ahmad a ratings boost…but there is no doubt that Michael is a better golfer than I am. Of course, if I was playing twice a day for the last 15 years, then that might not be the case. He might want to spend more time thinking about the Bobcats—or the Hornets.” Obama also said, “I love the man, though. He brought (the Chicago Bulls) a lot of championships. He does like talking trash sometimes, even when he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”

It’s hard for me to decide where to start with this political train-wreck. His comment about “loving” Jordan was as two-faced and deceitful as it gets and it is a tactic routinely used by Obama. First you pat a person on the back, then you cut their legs from under them. But, just as the political sky fell on Obama vis-a`-vis the election drubbing he took, you can bet Michael Jordan neither respects the office nor the man in it when it comes to talking smack. And unlike Obama, Jordan not only knows what he is talking about, but people do not reflexively call Jordan a liar. Something that cannot be said about the opinion people have of Obama.

Jordan is one of those super-talented types who goes to bed and gets up looking for a challenge; looking for something to fuel their fires to crush whatever opponent (real or imagined) is in front of them.

The truth be told Obama is not only a hack golfer, he is a worse president. But, instead of his seeking to be better at the position he was elected to fill, he spends his time practicing golf. Which, by the way, if Obama is going to attempt to left-handedly insult Jordan pursuant to how he spends his free time, what are We the People to think about a president who has played more than 200 rounds of golf since taking office?

When it comes to responsibility, I’m sure the majority of Americans would be much more comfortable with Obama playing less golf and focusing more time on the problems he has created in the White House; while most Americans wouldn’t care if Michael Jordan played golf three-times a day and four times on Sunday.

Not only is Obama a chicken-manure golfer, but we’ve seen him on his girlie-bicycle and we’ve seen him throw out a baseball at a ball game. And I say a quadriplegic could do both things with more style and grace.

We should ask all of the Democrats who have lost their seats for supporting Obama’s policies what matters more to them. His “sh***y” golf game or his policies that cost them their jobs?[adsanity id=11817 align=alignleft /]
