Seeing the picture of two reprobates dressed in military clothing reminded me of a column I wrote back in 2004. I think it is even more relevant today than at the time I wrote it. With the proliferation of children now receiving sex change operations and homosexuals sodomizing children I share it again.
Morality Doesn‘t Evolve from 7/6/04:
I recently heard a gentleman comment, “Morality doesn’t evolve, it always has been.” One need not be a genius to recognize the truth in that statement; but one must be either blind to shame or totally dishonest to deny its truth.
Today, we are told every form of debauchery is good no matter how deviant. Minority rule is now the consensus notwithstanding the majority, and heretofore the laws hold differently.
From the beginning of time, homosexuality, while practiced on various levels, was viewed as a degenerate behavior. Today, it is not only openly practiced – it has been given equal provision with the sanctity of marriage.
It was once understood that no matter the argument for same, said behavior would lead to the downfall of family and ultimately of society. Today, we are told it is healthy, normal and indeed moral.
The abuse of young children in the workplace led Robert Raike to establish the first Sunday School. He embraced children in a healthy, positive way, bringing Christianity into their lives.
Only days ago, the ACLU argued that the potential for abuse be damned; a Virginia nudist group has the right to open a nudist camp for young children. They argue to deny same is a violation of the group’s constitutional right to privacy.
Logical minds would be hard pressed to imagine any scenario in which the “Framers” of the Constitution intended for said right to be applied to such intent.
The ACLU argues, “So for these kids, being around other naked kids [and adults] is something perfectly normal, and the camp is very highly supervised.” To which I would reply, “That is exactly my concern lest we forget the countless number of children who were sexually assaulted by priests.”
Society from the beginning held that family was in effect sacred and to be protected. Today, nothing could be further from the truth. The family is under attack at every turn by the very courts, government and agencies that are sworn to protect it.
Animals, fish, forests and criminals are in effect given more rights and more access than law-abiding citizens. Criminals are often excused of their actions based on the flimsiest of interpretations and reasoning. Let a criminal be deemed to have been mistreated and social liberals converge to their defense. Let a police officer be murdered in the dispensation of his duty and these same voices are silent.
A father who murdered his infant child is argued to be free of guilt, because his enraged slaughter was caused by feelings of rage and persecution brought about by slavery. Never mind that he murdered “today” and slavery ended nearly 150 years ago.
Today, it is not only legitimate to murder unborn children; women who do so are given platforms of honor from which to encourage others to do so.
The most base and crude language is today not ostracized, but rather given unseemly sums of money and awards as being an expression of life in their community. At one time, the struggles of life brought us hymns, the blues and jazz.
Science and psychology at one time served to help man and improve his community. Today, both are used extensively to dismiss culpability and protect lascivious behavior.
Sexual promiscuity is encouraged by suggestive advertising and displays. Those who perform in pornographic films are given star status. No matter that the spread of disease, suicide and shattered lives are epidemic. Pornographer Larry Flynt is recognized as an important contributor by political parties.
Those who are elected and sworn to uphold the law, the Constitution and our values are often the greatest violators of same. Children are encouraged to explore their sexuality. Teachers’ unions and schools pronounce the inclusion of homosexuality into the curriculum as good for child development. I submit classes and presentations extolling “fisting” and the proper technique of same is without merit on any level.
Eminently qualified judicial nominees such as Leon Holmes of Arkansas are savaged by the likes of Sens. Diane Feinstein, D-Calif., and Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., while freely admitting same is being done because he is a Christian. Ministers are threatened with lawsuits for daring to preach the very word of God they are ordained to impart.
I do not suggest we live with our heads in the sand or in a puritanical society. But I do submit there are many today who remember an America that was once wholesome and ethical.
One must beg the question; if America continues on the path of labeling as good that which from the beginning was bad, what will she ultimately become?

I was just about to sign up for your Daily Rant when I saw the ad for – view gay men in your area – and I realized your words of God in the article took a backseat to wanting advertising dollars.
Sigh, compromise is so easy nowadays.
willow: that happened once before…trust me there will never knowingly be any type of untoward advertising on this or any of my social sights…I’m told by colleagues in international law enforcement that one of the tricks of muslims that hate me use is use that tactic…I would hope you would know that w/out my saying it but the thousands of people who are registers on this site and who follow this site are proof of same…and I am allowing that you yourself are not a mole trying to drive people away from my blog…

Fabulous article mychal. you are so right. my father was a minister for 50 years, and would frequently say that the downfall of America would be due to its immorality. Perhaps it will take a war to realize that human beings were designed to be moral, and society corrupts them.

In 1968 we lived on an Island and had Japanese Bonanza and Sumi Wrestling on the television set, 6 pm – 9 pm (something like that). We didn’t get to see what was happening in the United States but letters from home were full of what was happening just on television and commercials. In 1971, we returned to the United States to find the reports from family were true. Television had totally changed and curse words were allowed. Commercials were about private garments and menstral protection… Compare that to today, what we viewed in 1971 was mild. This is partly what I think about when I use the word “demoralization” of our Country. Demoralization goes much deeper than what we see on television, movies, dvd’s and even degrading recordings but each does help shape young lives. (When I was a kid, I thougt I could actually sing like Doris Day!) Where are the parent’s minds and why do they alllow their children to watch the filth that is portrayed as entertainment? Why do some adults enjoy nasty and violent “entertainment?” This article today by Mychal is one of the best because it cuts to core of how we Americans have been and continue to be demoralized…if we let it happen. marilyn: the interesting this is that I wrote this years ago…and since that time things have gotten worse…
My experiences with moral people is that they are usually also very sensible people, with a lot of common sense. Unfortunately, this has worked to the detriment of our society. The “silent” majority is silent because they believe that other people, especially our leaders will eventually develop some common sense and realize where sanctified immorality is leading us. Fat Chance!! God has given them over to blindness and depravity. Things can only get worse unless good, moral, Christian people are willing to make the sacrifice of running for public office. Believe me, I know from experience what a traumatic experience that can be for someone who is not a narcissistic power-mad dimwit. It is a tough row to how! But it has to be done or we can kiss our country and way of life and freedom to worship goodbye.

“The majority of Americans, thank God, are unwilling to be controlled …” We can hope and pray that statement is accurate. That majority, which is often referred to as “the silent majority” must realize the enormity of the clear threat to freedom this general degeneration of morality and truth has brought into being. This coming election (if allowed to take place) may well be their last peaceful opportunity to stop this evil juggernaut that is destroying our country. They must no longer remain “silent” and must be willing to stand up and be counted. We WILL need a heavy majority of right thinking people that will get out and VOTE instead of giving up and staying home, in order to overcome the manipulations we know are already being put in place to assure the continuation in power of this current totally corrupt regime. This regime wants to rule, not govern, and its adherents arrogantly believe they deserve to rule us and eventually the world. If we allow that through inaction, complacency, fearful political correctness, or any other excuse then we will have earned the disasters that will most assuredly follow.

I read this column, first, as a devoted Christian, knowing my soul is in peril and I have the right and authority to secure it, by properly revering The God of Creation, acknowledging my faults and shortcomings, and receiving the redemption I ask for in the blood of Jesus, God’s own Son.
I also read it as a regular working man, one who goes to work and immerses myself in dirt and grease, fixing and repairing machinery and equipment, tools, tractors, trailers metal things broken. As such, I remember an interview a journalist had with Ted Bundy, decades ago I guess, where Bundy said “if you want to get rid of people like me, you have to get rid of Larry Flint and the pornography makers”, they are what filled my mind and have constantly been in my hands, leading me onward”.
When those we would consider the height of depravity tell us what exactly moves them and makes them who and what they have become, how can we fail to listen to their words and fail to believe them?
I would be reasonable to stop and deeply consider it, if one such as he were to say “it is because of all the time I spend in Church”, and we know that would be scrutinized beyond any scrutiny we’ve ever witnessed, and we’d be hard pressed, literally and figuratively, not to heed what was said. The simple fact this self profressed mass murderer, torturer, abjectly depraved, even to his own mind, having stated that at times he actually felt he was standing outside himself and watching with reprobation, and equally accepts this fact, and the fact most of the time he was always inside himself, and comfortable, tells us his story is full of truth, but there will not be one moment, not a hundredth of a second, that his words will be regarded by the Press, because even if they are not led to mass murder by what Bundy says led himself, they enjoy the evil they are led to by their own acceptance of such things as within the moral standards they personally hold, and defend at the expense of their soul.
If we have no intent of acting on the knowledge we gain by asking questions of those most likely to have a correct answer, for what purpose was the question asked? Is the part of society afflicted by Bundy and so many others of the same mind set, so small, there is no need for “The Press” to pursue this enormously important revelation because those who care already know? What other answer rationally explains the total lack of interest in this undeniable truth, spoken by one who cannot be denied?
We can argue the point at which man was made aware of morality, but no one can rationally argue over its meaning, nor over its essential presence, if a people are to have any measure of peace and happiness in life. The very history, written by every culture since man’s first writings, have well proven this out. With eight thousand years of written history, why would we think a couple of decades could or would matter, with regard to something firmly embedded as part of human existence?

And now, thanks to the work on Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, the “alternate lifestyles” have the right to enter the military. Regardless of what our beloved politicians say, I’ve never talked to anyone on active duty or otherwise that approves of the idea. It’s just government politically correct pressure that forced it, not some big ephany. Isreal tried it years ago and it was a total failure. But we’ll do it right and everything will turn out just wonderful. The military has way to much to worry about to have this shoved down their throats to deal with. And there will be issues to deal with.

The belief of a true Christian is based on a strong conviction in the Word of God. The belief of those who actively promote immoral behavior is based on how their friends will view them. They have devised clever lies to convince themselves that abnormal is normal, and that God Himself is on their side. They are more concerned about being judged in this life by others, than being judged in the next by God. They not only do not respect other’s belief systems, neither do they respect God’s.
They believe that might is right. And there are enough druids gathered around them, singing their mantra that they believe it themselves. Or they were delusional enough in the first place to believe what they preached.

A look behind the headlines these past few years will show anyone with a clear conscience that a new religion has sprung up among our population. It is not Christian, Jew, Muslim nor any other. It is not out of the Bible or Koran. It is Humanism gone wild. It is not divinely nor intellectually inspired. It speaks not of heaven or hell. It is an out growth of mans pathetic dream of divinizing himself and creating Utopia on Earth.
This latest Babylonian attempt to be something other than what God created us to be will also ultimately fail. In the meantime it has found great favor with those who cherish privilege without price through a governmentally granted modern day monarchs of sorts as a reward for their rejection of all other religions which in one way or another may oppose their desires to become masters of human life, its behavior, and its future.
As we well know it is doomed for failure but at the present those who subscribe to its charter of corruption are unfortunately in power in Washington. The majority of Americans, thank God, are unwilling to be controlled be such zealots and we pray the voices of reason and common sense will prevail in November and put an end to this madness.
Bill, I sure hope you are right, but it’s a hope not a surety. This man was brought into this office by people that wanted what he preached so badly that they refused to believe that what he was saying was a lie or even hear the lies he was saying. He was also put into office by more than a greedy few that wanted revenge. For myself, I find it hard to believe that he is getting away with his lawlessness and that there are still millions that believe what he is saying, regardless of the failure of virtually everything he has done.
In the first case, it was an unrealistic hope that one man could bring about the utopia he was preaching without any effort on their part. In the second, it was an ignorance of the of law that allowed him to get away with what he was saying he was going to do that are against the law of the land. In both cases, they are a symptom of laziness. Laziness that looked for a utopia without any effort on their part and secondly, laziness that they were unwilling to put forth the effort to learn anything that required more than sleeping in class, if they bothered to go to class at all.
They want what is not rightfully theirs. They want it given to them without effort on their part. If it had been left to people such as we have so many of today in this nation, this nation would never have existed. We would still be sitting on the east coast waiting for King George to build it and give it to us.
A perfect example is the female going to Georgetown that wants birth control pills given to her due to what she deems to be an illness rather than stop whoreing around so much that she cannot afford them herself.

Since college girls are assumed to be entitled to have all the sex they can cram into four years of study and the cost of personally choosing to prevent their bodies from functioning normally to this heightened involvement with the sheer pleasure associated with nature it is now considered to be the obligatory responsibility of taxpayers to pay for their choice of personal physical fantasy and casual sexual pleasure one way or another until they are out on their own looking for work in a jobless market, what is next?
Well then some other liberal government run system of healthcare like Planned Parenthood can take over the job and gladly kill off any inadvertent normal consequences (Obama calls them punishments) that happen in the anti-natural process. Rest assured by the two fisted combination of government run media and liberal theocracy their choices will be protected from any religious or moral theology.
After that the plan currently on the medical horizon now is that should they decide to attempt to retrain their bodies to function normally and hopefully produce offspring they will be allowed to review the net results (about to be defined as a Non-person by liberal lingo) and if they are not satisfied with the appearance, sex, or health of the IT they, with rights of ownership, can request that IT be disposed of BEFORE or AFTER BIRTH up to a year or so without penalty, would you believe?
Socialism touts pleasure without pain or penalty, in practice it is convenience without conscience.
