Obama broke his word to SEAL Team families

There were to be no photographers at the transfer of the the heroes, who paid the ultimate sacrifice when their Chinook was shot down in Afghanistan. No media, no Pentagon photographers, who always accompany the Joint Chiefs of Staff, no White House photographers.

Nineteen of the 30 families who suffered lost, specifically requested no media and no photos and were assured that their wishes would be honored. Honored that is, until the photo of the silhouette of Obama saluting and others standing with him, were posted on the White House website identified as “the photo of the day.”

When asked about the flagrant abrogation and breach of promise, pursuant to what Obama’s office had assured the families they would honor – you might think the official White House spokesman would apologize, say they don’t know what happened and it wasn’t intended – you would expect the Obama White House to show some sense of humility and respect even if it was feigned.

But, not a chance. Obama’s spokesman said: “The White House routinely releases photos taken by the White House photographers in specific circumstances where it would be inappropriate to include members of the media,” Carney said. “In this case, the White House released the photo, in the interests of transparency, so that the American people could have as much insight as possible into this historic and sobering event.”

Did you get a sense of apology? Did you get anything other than a “go take a hike and get out of my face” response? Did you get a sense of anything other than Obama doesn’t give a rat’s tail about you or his assurances? In effect they were saying: “yeah we did it – so what, now go take a hike, because the emperor wanted it done.”

He had the pure unmitigated moral opprobrium to say it was done in the “interests of transparency.” This from the first leader in the history of the world to hide and conceal nearly every aspect of his life. If he’s interested in transparency why doesn’t he tell us why he was forced to surrender his law license? Why doesn’t he tell us why his wife was forced to surrender her law license? Why doesn’t he tell us what led to her threats of divorcing him? Why doesn’t he tell us about the rumors of his emotional instability? Why doesn’t he provide his college transcripts and his dissertations? Why isn’t his relationship with Franklin Marshall Davis more exposed? If it’s transparency they are interested in why doesn’t he tell us the truth of what he did with the advance for his book, that led to Bill Ayers ghost writing it? Why doesn’t he tell the American people exactly what he is setting the stage for pursuant to his life after office? If it’s transparency he cares about why does he have 40 plus czars effecting policy outside of the control of Congress? Is it because he is running a shadow legislative branch, or so that Congress won’t have to dirty their hands with his anti-Constitutional acts? Why don’t we know more about Sidley Austin?

He should be ashamed, he gave his word to the families of those who sacrificed their lives. Who’s security by the way, people (myself included), argue was compromised because he and Biden, with a complicit press, were doing victory laps on their backs – in the aftermath of bin Laden’s capture.

But once again we see what his word is worth. Nothing. He is dishonest to his very core. And compounding that is his “arrogant go take a hike” attitude. This man is not fit to be leader of a Chicago house of ill-repute, much less be the Commander-in-Chief of the greatest military in the world, that he uses as a photo-op.

We weep for the lost of our brothers and he uses them as back drop to bring attention to himself. To paraphrase his wife, I have always been proud of my country, until two wretched individuals like them and those associated with them gained temporary prominence. I take solace in knowing that one day the very mention of them will cause a persons to rinse their mouths out.

This has nothing to do with transparency, and all to do with ” photo-op” for the ungreat one

Islayto: to suggest their actions were in someway for transparency is an affront to even those w/ challenged intellect…

This Obama is enough to make anyone sick! I can not believe that he has the audacity to lie and so many people(even my own brother and uncle) buy into his deception! I feel so very sorry for those military families who can NOT even trust the word of their President! God, we need to get rid of him so badly. The whole country is suffering on his very words. Keep on with spreading the word! Hopefully we will get someone who believes in something other (God) than HIMSELF!!!!

Beady-eyed artist: we just have to make sure its not worthless repubs…we need sound candidates and we must be aware of repub leadership’s desire to sabotage tea party candidates…

This is why dems work so hard to never count military votes, throwing out as many as possible every election.. Believe me, the military community by and large know what this bunch thinks of them and their sacrifice. They are simply pieces on a political chessboard, to our dispicable dear leaders. The “won” breaking his promise? Imagine that.

Jan: fortunately for them we have honorable military…in many other countries they would be fish food…

M…the high ranking are not so honorable. Many Pentagon “stars on shoulders” are very far left. Look at the finger in the wind changes in Patreaus, and how the left loves him now. Now we have Panetta in charge?? Pray for our troops, never ceasing,

Jan: agreed…i wasn’t referencing them…I was referencing those who are honorable…
