There are no lengths Obama will not stoop to silence those who fiercely oppose him. He can hide behind curtains of insulation and plausible deniability, but at the end of the day we know he and his administration are behind the attacks to silence critics.
There are documented instances of his administration threatening reporters and demanding they stop reporting on specific things that the White House feels would embarrass Obama or face their wrath. During his first campaign journalists from three major newspapers were removed from his campaign plane because they had endorsed McCain.
CBS News investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson told radio host Laura Ingraham how the White House had cursed and yelled at her because of her reporting on the illegal gun-running operation Fast and Furious. The White House intimidated CBS into not permitting Attkisson to do interviews about Fast and Furious. An Orlando Sentinel reporter was kept locked in a closet until after Joe Biden had concluded speaking at a fundraiser.
The White House denied they had threatened to remove Carla Marinucci and possibly other Hearst reporters from the press pool covering Obama in the Bay Area in April 2011 and then lied about it. CBS News reporter is also on record protesting the limited press access to Obama fundraisers. The Obama truth team (an specious oxymoron if ever there was one) ordered ISP GoDaddy to shut down the political website of private investigator Douglas Hagmann, because it supposedly contained information that was “maliciously harmful to individuals in the government” (read: it exposed truth about Obama).
The DISCLOSE ACT (Democracy Is Strengthened by Casting Light On Spending in Elections Act), Or The Mob Intimidation Act as Mark Levin called it, [was defeated in the Senate this past June]. [It was] not about disclosing – [it was] about intimidation. DISCLOSE ( another ridiculous misnomer by the Democrats) [was] an attempt to require ALL 501-C4s and 3′s to disclose political causes and contributions made. Under the prism of ‘transparency’ in campaigns, the Act according to McConnell [was] not at all what [it was]…painted [as] by the Democrats. These are not even the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Obama silencing and bullying his critics. Which brings me to my blog (Mychal-Massie.com). Obama’s truth squad has engaged in the most vicious of attacks against me and my site. They have changed the language in my syndicated column “When Will Obama Crack In Public” (WND.com; 4/19/11), to include vulgar racial epithets that are now attributed to me. It was done specifically to marginalize my voice to blacks. Many of you have written me pursuant to this column.
Wednesday morning my blog was crashed for the third time in a week. Earlier this year we identified and blocked trolls trying to surreptitiously cause disruption on the blog. Earlier this month we requested your help in our battle against these attacks. The attack that crashed us this morning, I am told cost north of $50,000 to send. That kind of money and organization doesn’t come from a teenager with nothing better to do. It is the work of this administration to silence blog and marginalize me because we are stepping on their toes.
We would expect a Communist regime to go to these lengths to silence critics, but this is America not Cuba, Venezuela or Communist China. The small number of media outlets that do not agree with Obama’s policies are terrified to openly criticize him, but a growing number, myself obviously included, are not.
My blog doesn’t have the financial backing that many of the larger ones do, but that is because we refuse to compromise and bow before the GOP/RNC and inside the beltway politicos that would donate heavily. I assure you we will not bow before Obama and we will not be silenced. With your continued support and readership, we will continue to speak out against the racial discord Obama and company practice, we will continue to speak out against the mendacious megalomaniac and keep you informed.
We will not curtsy to the GOP as sycophantic ideologues and we will not be intimidated by Erebusic Marxist-Leninists whose goal is to fundamentally change America.

I just can’t believe that there are so many people out there that apparently truly believe that taking away our second amemdment rights will stop the killings ala the red headed nut job in Colorado.
How they think that the criminals that use these fire arms in the commission of their crimes will pay any attention to a law declaring that owning guns will solve the problem. If anything. disarming the population will only result in more killings by nuts and criminals, not less. States that have enacted “Make my Day” legislation provide more than enough evidence that an armed public is a safer public.
I think that the reason that so many want the gun laws is to weaken any resistance to a government filled with liars, crooks, cheats and criminals. The second amendament was put in the bill of rights to protect us from the government and criminals, not to position us to make war on other countrys.
The government will continue to try and take away our rights to keep and bear arms, so the battle will continue (as well as take away out free speech guarantees). They will tell any lie, do anything possible and will ry and sneak legislation throught that will deny us our rights.
Pogo almost had it right. It’d not “We have met the enemy and it is us”, it’s “We have met the enemy and it is our government”.

It gratifies me to read today that the UN anti arms regulation(s) was dropped, due in large part to the millions of emails, calls and letters to our “elected representatives”. These Judas Goats will lead us into socialism if we don’t stay on their backs. The only thing they fear more than Obama is being voted out of office. We can do that if enought of us register and vote.

I’m a little late on comment but let it be known that I do support Free Press, Information about ALL candidates (Obama a lone Democrat all the way through for some reason) – I learn through all messages and sort out what I believe to be the facts or not-facts. I don’t need to have Obama gag any media because I do have a mind of my own and can make choices. If his gag oreders are to not allow the real news to be reported and dwells only on shootings and the weather, It’s a sorry day for him. He wants to sign that gun treaty and is making that quite clear through the media with only shootings being reported; gives him a little more ammunition to why the gun treaty is needed and makses it a glaring case. Shootings by NUTS have been going on a long time in all countries so this is nothing new but to have t.v. stations dwell ONLY on shootings and the weather is very unprofessional. I feel as though I, American Citizen, am being “used.” We had a local Screwball cut up a family of three and took the young girl as hostage and raped her with intentions of killing her when his “play time” was over. The bodies of the three were finally found in garbage bags inside an old tree trunk. Murders do not always happen by NUTS with guns!!!!! Keep on ranting, Mychal. This is the only way Americans have to learn what is happening in this country.

Just about every puzzle piece is in place for comrade obama’s conversion of the democratic republic of America to a socialist/marxist country. The only “say “we have about being transormed into a socialist country is on Nov. 4. God Bless You, Mychal Massie! You are a Man among Men, and I, for one, am grateful for your voice to expose this “transparent” administration when others crumble under their threats. I am not convinced that life under Mitt Romney would be leaps and bounds better, but at least some relief from this ever-increasingly oppressive government would be a start toward regaining our republic and getting America back on her feet – both financially AND in healing the Obama created racial discord. I sometimes cannot tell if it is hype or if it is real. I certainly feel no different about my brothers and sisters of this world, regardless of color, than I ever did – and I am sure I am not alone – but, I can’t help but believe that there are Americans who HAVE fallen for the race-baiting & hate mongering this administration has not only allowed, but supported and sadly, perpetuated. And for what? Nothing more than power and control. They are trying to use all of us as pawns – to weaken us. To divide us. They know that United we stand, Divided we fall, so I have to believe that they want us to FALL. The enormous efforts to divide us are very – ahem – TRANSPARENT. I have not researched it, but perhaps you know the answer: Has President Obama ever, even once, said anything to the effect of, “I am not just the first Black President, but the first President who will bring Americans of all colors, all races, together? Hang in there Mychal! I wish I could help you financially but simply cannot, however I fully support and admire your efforts to expose the criminals and corruption so prevalent in this administration. I also share your Daily Rants with others I know. Probably most of us never heard of this guy until he opened his mouth in the 2008 campaign but many of us instantly recognized him for the lying fraud he has daily proven himself to be. We knew if he was allowed to usurp the office of president he and his partners in crime would pose the greatest danger to this country since World War Two but now the danger would come from within. Much of the media did not have to be intimidated, they were already undeniably far left wing Marxist/Communist sympathizers (or in some notable cases just plain stupid) and the damage they have done by promoting and covering up is almost immeasurable. He could not have deceived the public so drastically if the media had been doing the job we expect them to by digging out the truth and objectively reporting it far and wide. Their collective guilt is at least equal to that of a spineless congress, senate, and judicial for not putting a stop to his blatant subversion of our Constitution and thuggish methods of seizing power. There is no valid reason under Heaven that this race for the presidency should be as close as it is reported to be. Since the leaders of his own party are not American enough to tell him he cannot, will not, run as their candidate because of the obvious damage he has already been allowed to do and plans to do if elected again, they should all be summarily thrown out of office along with him. And that includes the RINO’s that have gone along like little lap dogs, or golfing buddies. If it looks like he will lose in November then it is almost guaranteed that “something” will happen that can be used as an excuse for a declaration of martial law and cancellation of the election. He has already laid the groundwork for that with his plethora of executive orders (everyone of them illegal I should add) but nobody dares call him on any of them for fear of being labeled as racist by some of the most racist people in the country. If that happens, it will leave us only two options, knuckle under to him or take matters into our own hands to surgically remove this deadly cancer from our midst. But now here we are yet we cannot quit.
