Baseball Bowing To Race Mongers

Bud Seling, the Commissioner of Major League Baseball, has appointed a committee to determine why there are so few African-Americans playing professional baseball. I certainly hope that the African-Americans he is referencing just got off a boat or jetliner from Nairobi or Mozambique or some other African domicile. Because if he is talking about Americans with dark skin, i.e., Americans of color, AKA blacks — then he had darn well better be advocating that a committee look into why there are so few whites in professional basketball and professional football.

Seling is ignorantly bowing to pressure from ballplayers like Gary Sheffield and from race-monger groups who even if they allow whites into their groups they then deny them positions of leadership. And yet they are trying to taint one of the most inclusive and diverse organizations in sports around the world. Black groups who are behind this initiative should be ashamed of their blatant antipathy toward modernity and freedom of choice. And Seling should be ashamed for contributing to the recrudescence of racial bigotry.

Why don’t they investigate why professional ice hockey is almost 100 percent white? Why don’t they investigate why there are so few blacks in professional rodeo or professional bowling?

Seling should be forced to pay for this out of his approximate $20 million annual salary. He is not only wasting money, but he is also wasting time enjoining jealous black bigots who are envious that players from the Dominican, Peru, and other South American countries are signing large contracts and have white agents.

With Jay Z and other blacks trying to cash in as agents for professional athletes, I submit that there are machinations taking place behind the scenes to bring in more black players under the guise of diversity when in reality the truth is Jay Z, et al. are interested in having a pool of athletes they needn’t work as hard to corral.

For the sake of argument, let’s say they find this mythical pool from which will spring black baseball players. Is Seling going to appoint a committee to find out why they can’t hit curve balls or why they don’t all hit 30 home runs, steal 30 bases, knock in 100 RBIs and bat .350? Is he going to appoint a committee to find out why every black pitcher doesn’t win 20 games every season and have ERAs under 2.00?

This is ludicrous on its face. Blacks aren’t playing baseball because they’d rather play football and basketball. It’s just that simple. In the inner cities, they identify more closely with players in those sports. Their peers identify with and play those sports. http://newdailyrant.wpengine.com/

Why are there so few black equestrians, wrestlers, and lacrosse players? It’s because many have no interest in playing or at best only a casual interest in said sports.

I believe this is about money which means it is about someone being exploited under the guise of being helped.

On the other hand, though, you almost have to feel sorry for the poor black folks. They are being told that they aren’t smart enough to figure things out for themselves. This time it’s that they aren’t smart enough to figure out what sports they want to play and excel in. Which according to Sheffield and company means it’s the white man’s fault because he likes South American ballplayers more than he does blacks.

I look forward to the day when blacks will be able to think for themselves and make their own decision without the help of people like Sheffield and Seling.
