In recent years, many have voiced concern to me about pursuant to Obama instigating a race-war between blacks and whites. I argue, we are already in a race-war and have been since every race-based divisive piece of legislation and every segregative word, phrase, and assignation became the parlance of the day.
The idea of blacks not having a level playing field and blacks needing special dispensation from the caring white liberals has transmogrified into an intellectual pursuit of understanding for whites suffering from guilt, and the liberal white illuminati who treat same as their exclusive realm of intellectual empathy.
Nearly every reference made pursuant to blacks and/or about them contributes to the raging race war that no one wants to admit is taking place and has been taking place since the beginning of the twentieth century when Lenin looked across the ocean and declared that the former slaves and first generation freeborn blacks “were ripe for revolution.” (See: Jehmu Greene: Portrait of Black Bigotry; WND.com 5/7/12)
People, whites specifically, take no thought to the fact that every time they speak using race-based assignations they contribute to the dissolution of the American fabric they want to believe they are making stronger. Segregative language does just that – it segregates.
Whites, based on grammatical ignorance varnished with political correctness and promulgated as proper, are contributing massively to the deterioration, indeed, the very destruction of harmony among all Americans.
Nothing sickens me to my stomach more than the unwitting and/or pompous liberal illuminati making references to “African-American, the black community, the black church, the black educational system,” or any other of countless race-based assignations covertly designed to divide, separate, alienate, and develop the idea that blacks are aboriginal Americans.
People, whites specifically, take no thought to the fact that every time they speak using race-based assignations they contribute to the dissolution of the American fabric they want to believe they are making stronger. Segregative language does just that – it segregates.
Even conservative blacks unconsciously use segregative language and word pictures. The pervasiveness of such language is insidious to the point that it is accepted as normative.
Segregative identifiers inculcate the mindset that blacks are a separate group existing outside the mainstream of America. Blacks are expected to be coarse and angry. They are expected to exhibit behavior that runs counter to that which is quietly viewed as civil.
In my opinion, television situation comedies are an insult to even undeveloped minds, but that notwithstanding, have you ever taken time to compare those produced for mainstream viewing audiences (read whites) with those for black viewing audiences? They make a punichello with the IQ of an empty can look genius.
Take a critical examination of television commercials that specifically target blacks. Listen to the grammatical patterns and study the familial interactions. With very few exceptions, they portray a people with decidedly different mores and behavioral systems that are outside the mainstream.
Agree or not, whites are viewing these things and drawing conclusions that reinforce what many have unconsciously already had inculcated, i.e., blacks are different. A white PhD. professor I had in college argued with me that it was his position the sit-com “The Jeffersons” perfectly represented the black family. Because in his mind blacks behaved like George Jefferson and family, upward mobility notwithstanding.
Blacks viewing these programs are having the idea reinforced that they are different from whites. The proof of same is that blacks spoke and still speak derisively of the Bill Cosby sit-com.
“The Cosby Show” was a sit-com about Dr. Cliff Huxtable and his family. But in black parlance the word “Huxtable” was/is used derisively of blacks who do not behave like someone who just fell off a turnip truck.
There is a conscious attempt taking place today that is designed and intended to foment discord and disunity. It is intended to keep blacks resentful and distrustful of whites, and it is intended to make whites feel guilty while viewing blacks separate from the whole.
The elite white illuminati on one hand use this to portray themselves as understanding and supportive of the poor disenfranchised black man who cannot get ahead without government help and race-based affirmative-action programs.
Those in the media are especially guilty of this. Newspaper editors, news program producers, and program hosts deeply resent men and women such as myself because we are antithetical to the debilitating and self-limiting, segregative mentality they embrace. They go out of their way to marginalize voices like Ward Connelly, others, and mine because we are working to change the social dynamic that imprisons minds.
The race war is underway and has been – why else would those of us who truly work to unite people be so viciously attacked? Why would race-mongers and those blacks who epitomize the communist W.E.B. Du Bois’s Talented Tenth be promoted by liberal editors and programmers over those working to bring people into modernity?
As long as people are willing to believe it’s not taking place, the race-war will grow in intensity and purpose until it accomplishes Lenin’s goal.

Mychal,
From what I have been reading so far from you and about you I am very impressed.
You put into words clearly what is in my own thoughts and experience. Keep up the
good fight to help us understand what is happening to all of us. We are being lead
down a road that has no happy ending for anyone. For the life of me I can not
understand the why of it. Why anyone would want to bring down and snuff out the
light of freedom which is the United States of America is beyond my understanding.
How men and women in positions of honor and trust can betray humanity as they do
Is also beyond my understanding. I have always thought that maybe it is a good thing
that I do not understand those among us who have no human empathy or soul because
I do not want those thoughts in my mind. How can political leaders knowingly put over three hundred million people on a path to ruin and sleep at night but they do and most
likely better than those of us who worry about our children’s futures.
This piece, like many thousands of other conservative rants, simply shift blame and onus to African Americans as if we are the only source of the problems. The fact is, there was racism in this country before Barack Obama, and there would be after he has served his term.
Yes, I pick the term African American and I resent anyone black or otherwise who tries to define or qualify what I call myself. No one black ask for any preference or special treatment from whites. If any, the benign condescending attitude from many conservatives does more damage than any liberal can do.
The lack of guts from many black conservatives in reference to the death threats President Obama has received or the blatant racism (like conservatives, gop, and tea party) calling him a monkey, and other derogatory terms does not endear African Americans to conservatives or black conservatives.
The effort of black conservatives who say they are trying to bridge gaps by stifling true dialogue about race. Talking about Democrat racism from the past (slavery) does diddly-squat without talking about Republican racism in 2013
lamont may: I’m guessing you aren’t ambulatory because it would be difficult to walk upright w/out help w/ your head buried so far up your behind…join me as I sing “hum-around gets you where you want to go”…that said what about the death threats that bush, clinton, Reagan and other presidents got…
Sorry dude, no president should receive death threats. But this President has received more than any other, most centered around his race and ethnicity.
I see from your blog that apparently you think calling Michelle Obama an ape is ok, so any other racist statements that comes from the right you would somehow think are justified.
So far, from my end, I have been sensible….and will remain so. But you have a self-hate complex going on big time with your comments. And I see the demographics of your audience. They only way they listen to you and people who think like you is because you give the freedom to say the things they want to say…and not appear as bigots because a black man is saying these filthy, derogatory things.
my friends are my friends, not black, not white not asian etc…scary that the folks don't see what is happening here!
barbara veague stricker: amen to that…
Mychal, thank you for clearly identifying the “elite, liberal, white illuminati”, who have been promoting racial discord (very consciously), which is but one part of their agenda in transforming America. And the transforming is almost done! We need brave souls who will identify the real sources guiding our country, whom Obama is representing, because it’s certainly not we the people. Knowledge is power. Didn’t Jesus say “He that hath ears to hear, let him hear?” Obama is saying one thing, but doing another thing. He and his administration do not give truthful answers to congress or the public, they don’t even answer most of the time! And congress does nothing. What does that mean? My guess is that most of congress is in support of the ‘tranforming agenda.” What’s really sad is the black people who support Obama are used for their votes, nothing more, but that’s their choice.
wendyjohnson: we don’t need brave people we need willing people…
So, according to twisted sense of logic, there is only a “liberal illuminati” and “patriots, conservatives, and republicans,” who are fighting for liberty from tyranny?
Sorry to tell you, but you and others are being played all the same by the power brokers on the far right.
You and others are too misinformed to see it.
As a Christian, I try to keep in mind that I have never met a black man or a white man. I am, according to the Census Bureau, a Caucasian; however when I hold my hand over a white sheet of paper, there is very distinct difference. There is a difference in each of us in the amount of melanin in our skins. So what? A Chinese man can have “black” woman’s heart and a “white man’s” kidney transplanted into his body by a team made up of black, brown, yellow and white doctors and nurses and guess what? His body doesn’t know the difference. The only people who make a point of defining people by color, sex, physical disabilities, income levels, etc. are those who want to divide and conquer. Look at the last 50 to 80 years. Every freedom we have had to exchange for a restriction came about because some group wanted to be “equal”. So instead of the “lesser” becoming capable of being “more”, we have become “equal” by all becoming less. Only a demagogue (ie: Obama) dwells on differences. We are taught that we all are owed something we can’t have because “they” have it and aren’t willing to share.
gary thomsen: I agree w/ you but would add that ignorance plays a role too, i.e., not understanding what they are buying into…
About being PC, with the exception of my caving to Afro American I am about as UN-PC as it gets. I am so un-PC that someday under the wrong circumstances being taken to task for my un-PC language. I believe in calling stuff what it is. I have no guilty. Neither I nor my ancestors played any part in slavery and so I’m sorry anyone using that argument with me, that VERY TIRED ARGUMENT is going to get nowhere.
Now I promise to stand down.
tyler: the assignation african-american are not in my lexicon…
Sorry for the multiple entries but I read some other comments which brought a truth I am convinced of. And that is the mistaken belief that liberals are loving people who really care about black people. If they did they wouldn’t be so fiercely defending the wholesale slaughter of black babies. They wouldn’t defend a way of life of dependency on welfare and food stamps because the obvious result of that is generations of black families coming apart at the seems. its characterized by teens getting no moral direction who turn to gangs and drugs and more specifically away from being educated. Now tell me, would anyone who really loved you as the liberals say inflict on you a way of life that has already proven itself an abject failure? I was going to ask if liberals really think we are that dumb but then I realized that, yes, sadly some of us are.
tyler: multiple posts are no problem when they’re cogent and reasoned…yours were both…
I agree mostly however in self-defense I must say that I too deplore the divisive “Afro” American designation but I have used it because its easier than defending myself from at the very least dirty looks or more. There are some blacks who take it so far as to dress in what their version of African garb looks like. These people have an axe to grind. THEY separate themselves. I think if people live here and are citizens then they are Americans period either you are or you aint. Just like morals, you either have them or you don’t. They aren’t up for negotiation of for sale or adjustment subject to the going rate. Too many black babies are being slaughtered daily because, according to some, its cheaper than food stamps. Morals don’t come with a price tag but I suspect that most liberal loons do.
Thing is, i have come to realize you have to choose your battles. Save your energy for the most urgent ones. So I give in if someone wants to be called Afro American and save my energy for stuff like the massacre of babies black white and every other color. As far as Obama goes, he and his band of looney liberals actually prefer a race war I think. The loons better reconsider because while the Obama’s will be safely tucked away in an underground bunker with massive security forces, the loons are going to be out here with the rest of us come what may. After 9/11 I really felt a healing between the races because we had all been attacked, we were all Americans. but Obama the “healer” and transparent man that he was supposed to be has done everything in his power to increase racial tension. There is no greater single piece of evidence of that than is contained within the racist head of the Unjustice Department Eric Holder who made it clear he is focusing on “his people” because whitey hasn’t suffered enough. Now if you really want to heal the racial divide you don’t put someone like that in charge of what constitutes justice. In that OBAMA IS VERY TRANSPARENT.
tyler: capitulation to that which has as its motive to divide is wrong-minded and contributes to the dissolution of the fabric of america…I am as opposed to that as I am abortion…it’s not about one or the other…it is both…
tyler: you are dancing waste deep in mud trying to keep your feet clean my friend…you are trying to offer reasons for continuing to do that which you are now being told is segregative language and divisive…
Mychal, I read a lot of “Archie Bunker” comments in various pieces like livefyre and have to wonder where these white illuminati get their rhetoric. Unfortunately, any color or skin or nationality can hold themselves back and blame others for their misfortune. We know the Media suppresses the stories about black on black crime or black on white crime but has a hay day when a white person attacks a black person. That is mainly because the blacks rise up and defend their own with the likes of Jackson and Sharpton…. Do the white people have that right to defend themselves without being called racists. But, decent blacks also proclaim that blacks need to take responsibility for their own actions or inaction. That is why I appreciate Bill Cosby’s comments to the blacks about taking responsibility and pull up their bootstraps (and their jeans) and stop blaming everyone but themselves for their not so good situation where they have put themselves. The same could be said for the many white indigents who yell “oh pity me.” I have a white cousin who has been on the “system” most of her adult life. She wasn’t brought up as such but a hard life has caused her to think that ‘government’ owes her a living. She has put herself and her physically handicapped child through college on the tax payer’s dollar. There is no use trying to have a decent debate with this Liberal cousin. I keep telling her that she is living off of tax payer’s money and that doesn’t even make her blink. She and her daughter are owed an education and good living. Two of my grandchildren, who have jobs, are still paying back their school loans.
marilyn: the point is not the freeloaders or who speaks for whom…it is about that which is being used to destabilize and dissolve the fabric of america…we are americans and if we adhere to that we resolve the problems that are dividing us now…I have many friends who are brazilian who do not fit the assumed physical appearance of brazilians…they do not call themselves german-brazilians or korean-brazilians or polish-brazilians…they call themselves brazilians…
So true……we are Americans not Irish-Americans, Italian-Americans,Afro-Americans, or Latino-Americans. Holding on to the labels that defined our first generation ancestors only serves to divide and segregate us from each other in a time when our country so desperately needs unity of national identity and purpose. All of us hold some respomsibility for the way we have allowed that unity to be manipulated for reasons of political expediency.
Everything you said is very true. It has not been helped by the race baiting ilk of the Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons, who enrich themselves on making the divide as wide as possible. Also they are creating a whole culture of pants on the floor, underwear hanging out, ghetto thugs, the visual by which the black community, at large, are being judged. Even though conservative blacks are marginalized by the left and the media, they must find a way to speak above the Jackson narrative if blacks are ever going to get off the plantation. If the back of the Democrats is not broken it will never change.
ben: you err…it is for all to speak out…if only southern blacks and Dr. King had spoken out about jim crow it would still be law…it took people of good conscience to speak out to end same…I have said many times Dr.King did not end jim crow…he brought it to the attention of the people and people of conscience rose up against it…stop looking for someone else to do what should start w/ you right where you are…
I agree but don't you think that if we all took PERSONAL actions it would help solve this thing? I find that Blacks are just as prejudice as whites in the south. I have tried to take the word out of my vocabulary when identifying someone. It is not the easiest thing to do, but it more like Christ! I found myself identifying people by their color. That is not good. What if everyone was only man or woman or kid? Do we have to say "did you see that black woman?" Why not just "woman"?
frankandbarb doyle: you make my point…on the one hand people use color as an identifier because they are too lazy to use another descriptive if they have to…color is easier…but the problem with that is it plays into the degradation of a “united” people…we break down into subgroups where the subgroups point the finger at the whites because there are still more of them and resent is fomented accordingly…
Mychal, it’s such a shame that even in the 21st century we still have to discuss issues such as race. Obama is without a shadow of a doubt, the most racially devisive president this country has ever witnessed. As far as the Cosby Show is concerned, I still watch the reruns and am fully aware of the hatred many liberal critics, both black & white exhibitted when it first aired on television. (I hate using the term “African-Americans”! Since Jesse Jackson coined it, I refrain for musing it exclusively.
It never cease to amaze me how white liberals have fully captured the market in projecting blacks as perennial victims of racism! To this very day, most blacks irrespective of professional status, educational background, & religious affiliation continue to harbour feelings of resentment towards many whites for the unjust forms of discrimination which were perpetuated by their ancestors.
If most black people took the time out to do a little research on the history of the Democrat party, they’d come to the realization that this is not the party of “racial justice” nor “black progress”. In fact, this was the party which instituted the racist laws of Jim Crow & rejected the Republican abolishment of institutionalized slavery. Over the years Juan Williams took so much pride in bragging about his emmy award winning PBS aired documentary “Eyes On The Prize”, which also garnered the blessing of the Queen Bee herself, Oprah winfrey, in projecting an “honest” look of the Civil Rights Movement. Sadly, this miniseries, along with Alex Haley’s 1977 Television blockbuster took the liberty of distorting numerous historical accounts of two of the most devastating periods concerning the state of black America.
Hollywood, the media, politics & academia all have integrated the liberal mandate of lowering standards by welcoming a steady stream of semi-talented individuals in the name of “diversity” to maintain demanding positions within their chosen fields & others. Including characters such as the Democrat-water-carrying, Obama boot licking troll, Soledad O’Brien. Even though the very biased and marginally talented O’Brien has contributed to the plummeting ratings of the pseudo-news network, CNN she has not received the same kind of public chastisement as Wolf Blitzer, Anderson Cooper & Larry King for their inability in engaging viewers with insightful, thought provoking programs centered on tangible facts.
Notorious racist & ex-kleagle of the Ku Klux klan, Robert Byrd continued to maintain impunity within the general ranks of the Democrat party while David Duke, another notorious racist justifiably earned the shunning of most conservatives within the Republican party. Al “not-too-SHARP” once-weighed-a-TON & Jesse Jackson have fully utilized their deep intrinsic hatred for white America by forcing major corporations into contibuting financially towards their questionable enterprises, as “payback” for the sins of slavery & Jim Crow!
Dennis Rodman along with Barack Obama, Colin Powell, Danny Glover, Muhammed Ali & Harry Belafonte have all followed in the footsteps of the multi-talented but sadly misguided, late Paul Robeson in internalizing the never ending stupidity of the “angry-black-man-syndrome while engaging in the anti-American, diplomatic support of foreign totalitarianism such as Communism, Marxism & Socialism. Only in America can the world be able to witness such an array of ingrates who were all afforded the opportunity in obtaining astronomical success, both on a personal & professional level while maintaining a large fan base which transcends global support within six continents, race, gender, sexual orientation, religious & political affiliation! Yet these men have no love for our nation nor those who fought heart & soul in affording them the opportunity to live comfortable lifestyles.
Only in America will the world be able to view the arrogant actions of these ungrateful black men, who continue to publicly denounce their country while taking advatage of the fruits of their labor which were initially implanted by the genius of white men whom they contnue to resent!America “is still racist’ they rail but just look at what each has accomplished within the period time frame of their collective fame. Belafonte somehow managed to obtain universal stardom while winning over a number of mostly white fans during the racially charged, Jim Crow era through his dashingly handsome features & novelty, pop-calypso songs “Day-O” Daaaay-O’! There’s no way Belafonte would have been afforded such opportunites within his native Jamaica, even today!
Ali, another dashingly handsome black man, exhibitted such an array of confidence & uncontrolled arrogance during the Civil Rights era when such attributes were literally unacceptable especially in public life where black men were concerned. The public often took such delight in watching the youthful supestar boxer with the very inflated ego verbally assault white sports commentator, Howard Cosell, as well as his boxing opponents while hurling such colorful quotes, including referring to former rival Joe Frazier as “a gorilla”!
This was the same racist America which allowed Ali during the height of his fame, to convert to the racist cult, Nation of Islam while publicly renouncing the majority faith of Chritianity .Ali’s celebrity status also afforded him the opportunity of evading serving in the military while dodging jail time. In return his freedom witihn the confines of racist white America allowed him to publicly defend the Vietnamese people & its notorious war.
Danny Glover on the other hand would hardly be considered the Hollywood ideal of a “leading man”. However, despite his lack of “visual dashingness” & an obvious speech impediment, Glover somehow managed to achieve superstar stardom within Hollywood during the 1980′s at a time where the only other successful black actor to maintain cinema success was comedian, Eddy Murphy. Glover’s success can also be attributed to his pairing with the once Hollywood heartthrob, Mel Gibson in a succsession of hugely popular blockbuster action-comedy fims called “Leathel Weapon”! Yet despite his astronomical success & global popularity, Glover found time to celebrate such notorious, foreign dissidents & America-haters such as the recently deceased, Hugo Chavez!
Obama & Powell, need no intricate detail nor introspection of their duplicitous attitudes.
Most Americans made the mistake of falling for their facade which won over the hearts of many & the world over.
Yes, this is what freedom entails today in the 21st century for ungrateful blacks & in particular black men with too much time & money on their hands which has afforded them the luxary of publicly renouncing the very country in which they have obtained monetary success. What other country in the world continues to breed a multitude of black millionaire rap stars with a limited education & incoherent speech patterns who routinely renounce “the man” in nearly all of their chart topping hip hop lyrics while gladly obtaining an exorbitant fee from him to live out their wealthy “gangsta lifetyle”?
renee: you have presented an eloquent soliloquy but you’ve omitted one key element…that element is you yourself…your treatise portrays exactly what I alluded to in my rant…it starts w/ each of us resigning ourselves not to be a part of that which divides us…what happened vis-a-vis the democrat party isn’t germane to the issues I wrote about…people have the lines so blurred that they cannot see that they are blurred…we must each move into modernity…
What about the Spike Lee and Tyler Perry movies? I have not seen many, but the few I have seen definitely fanned the fire of stereotyped black families and situations.
We need to get rid of the Congressional Black Caucus and also the Hispanic one. Until the elected representatives start acting like AMERICANS and care to represent ALL their constituents at home, we will continue to carve up the ethnic pie and that does not serve any useful purpose for a country based on democracy for ALL!
sunnyvee: I don’t watch their movies…
I've never felt any guilt about where blacks are now. I figure whites have bent over backward trying to make them "equal" and many have taken advantages of the opportunities available to better their educations, positions in life, etc. In fact, the liberals have seen to it that blacks have it too easy and whites are actually the ones who are penalized. My family didn't own any slaves and I see no reason for any white to feel guilty even if their family did own slaves all those years ago. It was part of the culture even though it was wrong. Why is it that for the most part, only blacks in America have that huge boulder on their shoulder? We lived in England and one thing really obvious was that the blacks there don't expect special favours and they don't hate whites and yet England continued slavery longer than the USA did!
dena e. casey: your last two sentences are subjects for discussion…good post…
Are people so willing to give up their God-given right to freedom? I hope not.
dlb: they’ve already do that my friend…
Mychal, once again your hitting the high notes with common sense but humans are only as smart as they choose to be, so good luck trying to reach mental losers, they are stuck on stupid and common sense is not common…. love you buddy for trying and not giving up the fight of trying educate us all ! THANX big time :)
denise: journey’s always start at the beginning my friend…if I do not start who will…
Yes, we are being fed the race card, but only if we choose to eat the slop from their platter. A lot of us know they are trying to use people to create a great divide. It does, unfortunately work for some. But I truly believe the people with an education, that were raised to care about people regardless of color, and to show respect towards one another, will file this along with the rest of the trash they( the liberal community), continue to spew our way. I know I was taught not to judge a person by their color, but by their moral character. And I passed this along to my daughters. Now, do I abhor certain people that happen to be black? Sure I do. Jehmu Green, Maxine Waters, Michell Obama, Jeremiah Wright, Van Jones, and a whole lot of others. But I’d add to that mix, Bill Maher, Chris Matthews, Valerie Jarrett, Hilary Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Morsi, and many others that are of all different colors, sizes and shapes. It’s not the color, it’s the lack of morality, their lack of compassion, their lack of anything and everything that is good, honest, trustworthy, etc. For now, and what may be a long time to come, we need to continue to be the teachers, and show our true colors…..faith, morality, honor for our country, belief in our fellow man, and be true to ourselves. And to not let a few bad apples ruin our faith in humanity. We are all GOD’s children. Some have just chosen to be pupils of satan. Ignore those, do not eat from their hands, tune them out, and we’ll be able to stay on the right path. And you, Mr. Massie, are one heck of a great teacher of goodness. And that is why the pupils of satan resist you and try to bring you and others like you, down to their level….which is hell! They are souless.
pamela arnold: it’s our every day interactions that give us opportunities to reach people and make a difference…
Mr. Massie, Excellently written piece. Progressive Liberalism, whose genesis began with Lenin has sought "methods" to infiltrate our free society, and to ultimately collapse our system, and install Totalitarian rule. Every segment of America is being targeted and portrayed as a victim of [primarily] white male imperialism. African Americans, Hispanics, Students, Union(members), Elderly, and now Single Women. Faith and family have been attacked. Interestingly enough, when(if) our free society collapses, it is white Liberals who will be placed in charge.
Numbers 14.4 "Let us appoint a new leader, and return to Egypt".
earick ward: I agree with you but I condemn the assignation african-american in the strongest possible terms…ler me repeat myself…if we are all americans there are no african-americans and hispanics…when will people understand race-based assignations serve one purpose and that is to divide…
I was glad to see this article. I've always disliked the term "African American," since the vast majority of people who refer to themselves as such have never been to Africa. They are American, not African, and it is a ridiculous term.
lumara lee: it is a ridiculous assignation that people should stop using…not only do I not use it…I chasten and correct those who use it around me…
I have a Brother-in-law who needs education on subjects like this, and your the person who’s going to open his eyes. Your writing is inspirational and intricate with the facts, may you live to be a 101 and in total health…
henry yip: you are very kind…it’s good to hear from you my friend…it’s been quite a while…
Mychal is right on using the term “white illuminati.” Has anyone taken a look at Darwinian evolution and Margaret Sanger lately? How about Hitler’s ideology? Black eugenics, anyone? Go back to the roots of segregationism. Trace it back to Darwin and his book, “On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life.” The subtitle tells it all. No wonder we are in a “racial” mess. Every one of us traces his ancestry back through Noah to Adam. We are all descendants of Adam and Eve, the first, literal, historical, biological, real, man and woman. Created by the one true God, not evolved. Therefore, we are all of ONE BLOOD, and of the same race. There are not separate races of humans. We are one race, one blood, but many people groups, made separate and distinct from the historical Tower of Babel; read Genesis 11. We are all cousins. And love your neighbor as yourself.
david: well said big guy…
Inspired as always, Mychal. Not just blacks, either – the elite also think anyone who is not financially successful or “properly” educated need to be “led and guided”… To what, i’m not sure. That’s our big government mentality. (PS Your college professor was a moron – George Jefferson, like Archie Bunker, was a farce of a stereotype – I think most people understood that). Keep up the fight, keep shining the light!
deb: you’re right about my professor…
Mr. Massie,
Your website is informative and important. You point out how denoting Black Church, Black School, Black Community foments racism. Yet you are a member or lead an organization that denotes the race of its members.
Mychal S. Massie is the former National Chairman of the conservative black think tank, Project 21-The National Leadership Network of Black Conservatives;
rusino: you are right…now if you re-read what you wrote you will see it says “former”…obviously you haven’t asked why it is so designated…but being the nice guy I am let me tell you…it’s because I realized I was participating in a duplicitous double standard based on race…so “oh clever one” anything else you have for us or was that your only shot…
It is a "soft" bigotry and I have always wondered why blacks are not angered at being pandered to and patronized with this attitude. I know as a female I am angered when some feminist pretends to speak for me as if all I'm interested in is free contraceptives and abortions "reproductive rights". Look at how leftists recently, in the gun debate, had this patronizing toward women using firearms? We aren't smart or capable enough you know? We might shoot people indiscrimmantly because it's that time of the month. Leftists do this ALL the time if people try to break out of the place they have been assigned. I have seen a few blacks waking up and realizing what has been done to them and I admire them for their bravery in standing up and facing the unrelenting ridicule from the "black community".
cindy manley corn: I liked your observations…that said for me it is willingness not bravery…
Absolutely correct as usual! As a substitute teacher I often encounter "proof" of what you are saying. Keep up the good work.
bob n rillis barnes: thk you for sharing that my friend…
Fantastic article, very powerful. Will pass it on!
virginia benning baker:thk you for passing it on…
Mychal: I’m sick and tired of the race thing. You hit the nose on the head… we are all being led somewhere… and it’s not good.
As an artist, I see color, but it’s not black and white – it’s suble differences in the light, tone and texture – it’s beautiful (to me).
I have never, ever, ever seen a white person, nor a black person. What the hell!
Sorry for cussing, but…
star: your point is well taken…
Mychal, this is a brilliant and inspired article. Thank you for being who you are!
michael j. schroeder: thk you much…you are very welcome…
Hallelujah! I have been saying this for years. Not as articulate as Mr. Massie does but have thought this for a very long time.
carran maxey manning: glad to hear it…now tell me you’re putting it in practice…
your essay is the long form of the story you told me last week. you are exactly right and for the right reasons. why is it that this story line cant be told to the masses? I have not watched commercial TV in about 30 years except for news and the History Channel before Fox, and since Fox almost nothing but Fox. Look at the promos: you have 2 blacks, 2 Hispanics, 1 Asian and 1 white male idiot girly man who seem to live together in one apt and spend their time cracking sexual jokes or double entendres. they don't seem to have jobs or families or any serious responsibilities. America buys it and keeps on buying it. what can we do?
paul whitfield: it gets taken to the masses by our putting it into practice in our personal lives…and then by having me come in to speak about same w/ your groups…
Dear Mr Massie,
A friend sent me your article on why you dislike the Obamas. He thought that he’d found someone that detested them as much as I do. However, while it seems that you dislike them for their positions, policies, ideology, attitude, I detest them because of their essential moral character, or lack of it.
This applies to the major figures of the Democratic Party, the media, and the academics.
The people of the United States elected and re-elected Obama and others. We know the character of these people. What does it say about the voters—-and their essential moral character?
Now, I don’t know too many people of colour well. I have shining examples in my life. My personal role model, since I was a boy, is George Washington Carver. But, as an older white man, I cannot generalise about the community, church, or culture. I was raised to treat people alike, with respect, without considering race, ethnic background, education, social glass. Each and every one of us is an individual, to be valued as such.
White folks are in an odd position in relation to others. Given the past, and present attitudes, we cannot presume to advise others. They won’t hear it coming from us. White folks, specially of the Left, have done enough damage over recent decades. At best, we do well to keep our mouths shut, treat others with respect, heartily wish and pray for betterment—including ourselves. We need to refrain from trying to boss others, stereotype them as a lesser breed, destroying them by our actions and attitudes.
Sadly, President Obama has failed or refused to use his ‘bully pulpit’ to advocate a better way for what he (and the Attorney-General ) call ‘his people’. Missed opportunities—or, ignored opportunities.
Heaven protect us all!
Mr. Marder:
Your comments are greatly appreciated and I am in 100% agreement. The moral degradation that has been brought into the WH is extremely disturbing.
The division from the White House has become astounding and the manner in which the MSM has pushed Mr. Obama is disgraceful. The voter populace seem to be led easily astray by the fact of being ill informed.
God have mercy upon us and Heaven Help us!
benton h marder: I condemn the obamas on moral grounds as well…that said I will never condone the lie that someone cannot do this or that because another person will call them names or not listen…if you are subscribing to that philosophy as it appears you are…I advise you to remember the apostles and those who took the message of salvation to the rest of the world…I do not believe in excuses…
I look forward to your, and your groups, writings daily. Thank you.
Always on point, and wonderfully succinct .

Very powerful. I have often wondered what my friends of all colors think about the level of slop offered and consumed on TV. Many do not own TVs out of choice, or do not watch main stream TV, also out of choice. But of those who do, I would bet they agree with you. I know I do.
I think we all know tv is mostly garbage in many ways, but there is no race war–what we have is the same as always, people like Rand Paul, who said he would have voted against the Civil Rights Act, pretending not to be racists.
gene cotton: I could not disagree w/ you more…
Mr. Cotton. Before you cast dispersions on Rand Paul, perhaps you should do some research and not just put the liberal talking points out there as though they are facts. What Sen. Paul said, (paraphrase), he does not believe the government has the right to tell citizens how to and who to serve, but, he would not vote to repeal the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
gary moore: I am aware of several brilliant statesmen who w/ the benefit of hindsight have serious reservations pursuant to what the CRA of 1964 gave rise to myself included…
vivian yess wadlin: thk you much…
Mychal, why don't YOU run for president?
judy kirsch peterson: I wouldn’t run for dinner much less elected office…I am doing exactly what I’m meant to do…
read!
linda lafayette-daniel: is that an order…lol…
