The memory span for most Americans is evanescent at best and as corruptibly programmable as a computer chip at worst. We’ve changed from a nation of rugged individualists, who depend on ourselves, to become a tone-deaf people who chant choruses of “the government will provide” as though they were euphonic Gregorian chants.
To the delight of Obama and the Neo-Leninist hordes, as well as Karl Rove, Reince Priebus and the rest of the establishment Republicans, many Americans have been brainwashed into hand-wringing skeletons of once great lineages.
I think the late evangelist Dr. J. Vernon McGee said it best: “In olden days we had wooden ships and men of iron – today we have ships of steel and paper dolls.”
Here’s my point. While I’m prepared to argue, without apology, that Obama is the worst thing to happen to America since polio and illegal aliens – I am in no way prepared to view him as omnipotent. I further note that his term has a beginning and an end, and I believe his end is closer than he thinks.
We must remember history if we are to survive the future. America may be on the verge of suffering the fate of Nineveh, but even Nineveh was given a reprieve after the people of same turned from their sin and wrongdoing.
Franklin D. Roosevelt may have planted the seeds of government dependency, Lyndon Johnson may have left us with the “Great Society,” President Nixon may have left us race-based, affirmative action, and Jimmy Carter may have left us the Department of Energy and the Department of Education as curses for the future which we now live and beyond. But Obama threatens to leave Obamacare, unprecedented racial partisanship, unparalleled debt, and government dependency on levels unseen in America.
But, contrary to what those in authority and the minions of evil would have us believe, while Obama is going to bequeath the next president unparalleled debt and unemployment, there is nothing he is legislating that cannot be changed and/or overturned – with perhaps the singular exception of Obamacare which we can stop in 2014.
Our fight is not over – it has just begun.
We must understand that it is in the vested interest of those who seek to retain power, retake power, and/or transmogrify America into a Socialist State that we not remember our roots and our heritage. It is in their collective best interest to have us look to them juxtaposed to understanding that the power to rescue and restore America lies with us.
In the book of Deuteronomy, Moses told the people that it was up to them, i.e., those whom he had led out of Egypt, to remind the future generations of the great miracles and acts that God had done in saving them.
In Deuteronomy 11: 19 Moses wrote: “And ye shall teach them [i.e., the works of the Lord] to your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” (King James Version)
It is our duty to daily remind those around us of the greatness of America and the traditions she was founded upon. We must be at work vetting and placing candidates in the pipeline so as to replace those coming up for reelection in 2014, 2016, and beyond. We must be about pipelining judges for the future. We must be active right now on the local levels and national levels.
The establishment doesn’t want us to realize we are the power and all power lies with us. They want us to believe the power lies with government. They want us to be both in fear of government and dependent on government.
But as the late Henry Ford noted: “Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the government take care of him, better take a close look at the American Indian.”
Our future after Obama lies in our hands. It is paramount that we grasp that important truth. But we cannot move forward without both knowing and teaching our children and future generations from whence we’ve come.
Obama is, without question, taking America to the brink of the abyss. But his term is not in perpetuity regardless of the opinion of those who are waiting for him to create a scenario whereby he can issue martial law and retain office.
The only way Obama’s destructive policies cannot and will not be changed when he is gone is if we do nothing.

Also add that your salary stops at the end of your term as do all perks of the office.
The President should only get one paid vacation like the rest of us and his salary stops at the end of his term as well.

I have been a Republican all my life, but no more! Obama could not be getting away with his treasonous acts without the collusion of the Republicans. Oh sure, there are a few who would stand in his way, but in general the only disagreement I see between Reps and Dems is how fast they row the boat toward the waterfall. Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers.

Obama is the sitting king on the chessboard of the USA. I do not think he feels any loyalty to the chessboard, but views it only as a battleground to be won. Racism is his queen. His knights and bishops (his top advisors) fiercely serve and protect only him, blocking any attempts by his opponents (the Republican party) to break through his line of offense. The rest of the Democrats stand as hard, staunch castles at the edges of his line, ready to switch positions when dictated by their king, to prevent anyone from breaching their walls to reach him. The main stream media, meanwhile, are his faithful pawns on the front line, doing battle, shielding him from the marching hoard, and ready to take the fall for him, even if it leaves their reputations shattered on the battlefield. Republicans should study the board, design their plan and secure a checkmate by countering the media with persistent and unrelenting appeal to the public for attention to their own national expression. They need to be out front, speaking logic, truth, and common sense (without intimidating tones of anger and hostility). Obama does not assume America is getting his message. He is always out there, always carrying forth his message, always doing his own dog and pony show to his adoring crowds and his adoring media. Republicans must put their faces out there and create their own following by speaking out, showing Obama for what he is, and eliminate the effectiveness of his pawns. They can also counter Obama’s advisors by persistently exposing their lies and exaggerations for what they are… LIES, and quit using flowery, politically correct language that is weak and ineffective and gets no one’s attention in the end. Finally, checkmate him by open confrontation and exposure of his own lies, his veiled and open threats to the American people, and his other misdeeds such as his mismanagement of the economy (what? still no budget?) and the Benghazi debacle (where are those other Benghazi survivors anyway? Have we forgotten about them?). Republicans need to hold that line, sticking to their principles, instead of caving in through conciliatory words and deeds, trying to pander to groups of people who won’t vote for them anyway unless they do show themselves to be strong and true leaders. In lieu of that, a good solution is as follows: “Often, a player will realize that his position on the chessboard is hopeless, and that having his king checkmated by his opponent is inevitable. In such circumstances, that player will usually resign the game.” The Americans who love and believe in our Constitution, and the wisdom of our Founding Fathers, cannot be the ones to receive checkmate, and resignation for us is not an option.

Thanks, Mychal. I grasp the concept that we Americans now are paper dolls. Generally speaking, we’ve made like easier and passed that onto our children and their children. Each generation given more opportunities to grasp the golden ring and become anything they so strive for. In so doing, we have also produced some panty waists who wouldn’t know how to mend a wooden fence or purify drinking water.
Most families have taught morals, work ethics and how to treat the neighbors and hold our country sacred and free from tyrants. But, that does not always happen in each and every household. Those who never strived for anything better than a search for food and lodging have never strived to make their lives better. No holds on those people but themselves.
Now, we are in an era where government dangles the carrot to become dependent on big government alone to furnish livelihoods. Government has stepped in as if it were “God” and declared it is their mighty power to furnish everything, and this is intended to destroy every American concept of self-reliance and self-esteem; not to mention stifles creativity and innovative ideas. This kind of government we are currently facing has produced dependent and not independent people, only Paper Dolls.
Ben Stein said it well: Quote: “Fathom the hypocrisy of a Government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured…but not everyone must prove they are citizens. And, now, any of those who refuse, or are unable, to prove they are citizens will receive free insurance paid by those who are forced to buy insurance because they are citizens.” Unquote. This quote backs up my intention of saying some in our society have become dependent and rely on Government to make even their health insurance choices at the expense of those who have bothered to become citizens. Granted that we have a minority who have rough choices for their way of life and some cannot work due to disabilities. That’s a given. But, they have been living off of subsidies and other family members for the most of their lives and didn’t understand that they actually had it so good as compared to what they will have under Obamacare.
Those who don’t believe that the Constitution is a vital set of rules and laws set forth by a few very courageous men many years ago are welcoming a tyrannical government to rule them. And, this brings me to “If They Come for Your Guns, Do You Have a Responsibility to Fight? This was written by another courageous man, Dean Garrison. As stated, Our founders did not want a “democracy” for they feared a true democracy was just as dangerous as a monarchy.” …”A system of checks and balances was set up to help limit corruption of government and also the potential for an ‘immoral majority’ developing within the American People. We have forgotten in this country that we are ultimately ruled by a Constitution” I add, God’s Natural Laws. Since Ms. Feinstein and B.Obama have a problem with the Constitution then they should be removed from office.

Obama and his Cabinet appointments scare me! There is no anticipating what they have in the pipeline no pun intended (Keystone), (which certainly isn't in the best interest of the true "Middle Class".) My hope is with Dr. Ben Carson, and the fact Republicans will wake up to the fact another "Bush" or any of the others meeting at C-Pac are the answer. Rubio would be a good V-P or even Cruz, but a man of strength of heart, character and brilliance can only be found in a man like Dr. Carson.
I agree with most of what you said Jane, however Rubio is now in full support of funding the rebels in syria who ARE the muslim brotherhood…he lost my vote with that

The KEY is the PEOPLE must change…i.e. “IF MY PEOPLE who are CALLED BY MY NAME will pray AND TURN from THEIR wicked ways…..” IIChronicles 7:14. Individually and collectively we must examine our lives, what we do, what we watch and listen to, what we participate in, what we allow in our homes, what we condone, what we speak. That means US, God’s people, not the rest of the country. It is so easy to be “unbelieving” anytime we discount the truth in the Word of God or count our salvation “ordinary” by subscribing to immoral, indescent behavior and language or supporting a cause we know to be such. It is a very difficult thing to examine ourselves and measure ourselves by the truth of the Word of God. We have to do it……..that is wherein there is hope for our nation.

Hahaha….EXCELLANT! The Word of God is alive and POWERFUL, (Hebr. 4:12)! The Word of God in the Person of Jesus Christ (Rev. 19:13b), has already won the war of the worlds, and His opponents (Satan and his sons), are as good as dead! I am amazed that people follow a dead man, a fallen angel. Christ died, but He was resurrected! This nation ought to be following HIM, the living Word! “We have the mind of Christ,” (1 Cor. 2:16b), IN WRITING! If enough Christians start carrying the Word inside of themselves and make every decision in accord with the principles of this Book of Truth, we could see this nation saved, (2 Chron. 7:14)!
Every governmental department has succeeded in breaking down the entity for which it was created to oversee! Without personal integrity based on the Word of Truth, and without faithful thinking, speaking and acting based on Truth, even the good we think we do, turns into evil. Seems like America needs to be jolted out of her daydream, which is fast becoming a nightmare.

I do see evidence that the tide is turning, the facade is crumbling, and along with this, so is Obama. He appears to me to be a wild man on the verge of a breakdown. Maybe this was part of God’s Plan in letting him get re-elected?
