How gullible can people be to continue to believe Obama’s lies? Can his campaign plan be to dazzle people with the equivalent to the products moo-cows deposit in fields after eating?
At a Chicago fundraiser this past weekend, Obama attempted to boast about his political record saying Americans should look at his record, and make the choice to move forward and not backward this general election. He pointed to his ending “don’t ask, don’t tell,” allowing women greater access to birth control (whatever that means), and bum-rushing the healthcare bill through as the major accomplishments of his first term. And, of course, he engaged in his obligatory mantra of class warfare, calling the most successful free-market capitalist model in history “top-down economics.” Derisively saying, “They have tried to sell us this trickle-down fairy dust before, and guess what? It did not work.”
I have got to say it, has he lost his flipping mind? Has he even looked at his record and lack of accomplishment so far? He’s leading his own cheering section because homosexuals and lesbians are now able to engage in their preferential debauchery openly. What next, will we see modern day Corporal Klinger’s doing guard duty, decked out in sequined dresses and pantyhose?
Why doesn’t he talk about the disaster known as “cash for clunkers”? Why doesn’t he tell the handpicked crowds how he has massively contributed to the destabilization of the Middle East? Why doesn’t he explain what a friend to Israel the U.S. has been under his so-called leadership? Why doesn’t he explain why he permits his wife to flaunt the wasting of our tax dollars on lavish vacations and over-the-top spending sprees? Why doesn’t he tell us why his wife spends $50,000.00 in one visit to an exotic lingerie boutique in New York, when the millions of unemployed are losing their homes?
Speaking of the unemployed, why doesn’t Obama explain his economic disaster as I wrote in my July 27, 2012 Daily Rant titled, “Obama Calls Poverty Of Nation Successful Economic Policy”:
The question the rest of the American voters must ask is how Obama reconciles his self-affirmation of economic success with the fact that there are more people living below the government‘s poverty line than at any time since 1959. There are 46 million people or 15.6 percent of the population, living in poverty, i.e., people with an annual income below $11,139.
As Brian at “Brian’s Right Perspective” wrote: “We tried our plan – and it worked!”
President Obama is now hitting uncharted territory with, possibly, the most delusional statement he’s yet made on the economy. He can’t possibly believe the crap that falls out of his mouth, so I can only conclude that this President, and this administration, believe that the American people are stupid enough to believe this tripe.
Let’s see how well Obama’s economic plan has worked:
June 2012:
Unemployment (U-3) – steady at 8.2% (up from 8.1 in Apr)
Underemployed (U-6) – rose to 14.9%
Long Term Unemployment ([more than] 27 weeks) 5.4 million or 41.9% of all unemployed
Discouraged workers – no longer looking: 821,000
Labor Force Participation: 63.8%
Americans who have left labor force: 8.6 million
Americans on Food Stamps (Apr2012): 46.2 million (1 in 7 Americans)
US GDP (1st Qtr 2012): 1.9% (Historical 3.25%) – GDP under 3% 6 of last 7 Qtrs (3% – 4th Qtr 2011)
In addition to all of the sunshine shown above, since June 2009 inflation-adjusted income has plummeted under Obama by 6.7%. That is, the money you do make, buys less.

Why doesn’t “Boasting Barry” take credit for those economic disasters? Why doesn’t he boast to the public how he is secretly devising a plan to circumvent the Second Amendment and deny our Constitutional right to own and bear arms?
Obama is an unaccomplished and unpolished liar, but no one in his inner circle dares tell him that his lies are as transpicuous and base as the painted-on, jeans outfit his wife wore to the children’s award show was whorish.
I’m not a psychologist, but a couple of my closest friends are, so it is not without some discussion that I make the following observation. Obama is an emotional catastrophe. The emotional damage inflicted upon him by his unstable parentage has gone unaddressed. He no doubt learned, at an early age, how to prostitute himself for the attention and adulation he craved. Just like a common street-walker, once he had received what he craved, he had no use for those who had worked to help him achieve his objective.
Think about it for a moment. At the time Obama started dating Michelle, the kindest, most kind, thing that could be said about her looks was that she was hideous. He, on the other, even in his glorified pimp-daddy wannabe, “I’m stoned outta my mind” impression, was nowhere near as unpleasant looking as she was–yet she is the woman he attached himself to. And while today her looks are the result of the taxpayers paying for the same $15,000 a day makeup person for Michelle that Oprah uses, photos of her from back then show a frighteningly unpleasant-looking woman. But she probably has many of the same characteristics his mother had.
During the 2008 campaign, Obama lied and bojangled his way around the truth and away from any serious vetting of his sealed background. And, just as he made a vulgar gesture to Hillary with his finger, so he is giving us the same gesture, every time he lies and/or tries to mislead us into believing he is not exactly what we see.

I continue to be amazed and puzzled at how Obama became President. I understand there was a great deal of voter fraud that helped but could there have been that much. Apparently and it will probably be worse in 2012. We know the Leftist hate VOTER Photo identification and that is without voter fraud they would have no chance to win.
I think I do not believe any thing Nobama promised cause none of it came to past.
The ONLY TRUTH Obama ever gave us was that he planned to make BIG CHANGES in America. It wasn’t clear immediately just how dark those plans were.

You used to have a nice comfy bed to sleep in safe and secure and now you sleep on a stone-cold concrete floor in your unlocked basement with one eye open. I wouldn’t settle for that and I bet you wouldn’t either. Neither would our congress or senate I betcha. But that is, in essence, what is happening to our country. It’s not a safe haven anymore for us to raise our children anymore, it’s a dangerous free-for-all that is unacceptable in my opinion. I just honestly cannot figure how those giving away what America was so that we can get in line with all the other socialist repressive governments, the same governments for citizens who probably used to envy us but now we’re one of them. When I was a kid, I learned to take care of my toys, especially the ones I loved the most. It’s hard for me to watch people trashing one of the things (certainly NOT A TOY) I valued most: freedom, mine, my children’s and yours too. It’s as though some mental disease crept in one night while we were sleeping and sucked out our brain and left foam peanuts instead. NOT GOOD PEOPLE. We won’t get a second chance and I really fear it is already too late. I would be very grateful if someday I’m proven wrong.

Spot on. Everyone of us has a bias(s). The problem is recognizing that we have it. A case in point is when a bunch of news analysts, several years ago, were assemble to discuss their views on the economy. In their unbiased opinion, everything was just fine. However, the moderator toward the end of the discussion pointed out that everyone of the participants in the discussion was viewing the topic with the unconscious opinion of someone with an income of $500K/year! I also remember in the 1960′s the wife of the CEO of GM saying something to the effect that: “Times are tough. Sometime we have tuna casserol for dinner.” How out of touch with reality when I was going to college, working a midnight shift and lived on rice and beans but felt I was doing okay without a student loan! At least, at that time GM was providing good paying jobs and the govt wasn’t interferring too much.

As always Mychal, right on the money. I do believe that Obama is coming unglued. One big reason is the change in the Romney Campaign. I am referring to Paul Ryan. The Ryan pick has energized the entire Romney Campaign, including Romney himself. Obama is scared to death. Scared that his dream of a Socialist/Marxist America is fading away. Scared that he will loose his privileged seat of power. Scared that his ideology will fade right along with him. Now, with the change in direction for the Romney camp, Obama has to start dealing with the issues. He and his campaign aides are terrified at this prospect. Any discussion of the issues will inevitably lead to his failures as President. Yes, he is indeed coming unglued, and it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
Owen K, Obama may also be realizing that if he fails to be re-elected, which would mean he fails to complete his assigned goal of transforming America to Communism/Marxism, his anti-America handlers may consider him disposable. As an aside relative to the “benefits” of Obama’s “Cash for Clunkers”:
First, it was promoted as an energy saver as the hypothesized replacement vehicle was to be more efficient, i.e., there was to be a net reduction is energy usage by the replacement of low-mileage vehicles with higher mileage vehicles.
WRONG: The energy “costs” of prematurely scrapping and recycling a vehicle, and then building a replacement, far exceeded the marginal(2-5 mpg?)fuel savings of the replacement vehicle.
Second: it was promoted as a means of reducing pollution, under the hypothesis that the replacement vehicle, built to supposedly tougher emission standards, result in a net cleaner environment.
WRONG: When the total environmental costs of “recycling” the old vehicle and the environmental costs of building a replacement vehicle are considered, the result is more, not less pollution. Recycling the “clunker” and the subsequent replacement vehicle fabrication, in the net, are not pollution-free operations. It must be remembered that the “clunkers” were required to be in conformance with current emission requirements to be eligible, i.e., were already clean-running vehicles.
If not for energy or the environment, what was the Obama’s motivation for “Cash for Clunkers”?
First, it gave the impression that the administration was serious about these current “hot-button issues. As any politician knows, it is far better to give the impression of action, even if that action does not contribute to a solution.
Second, it was a pay-off (for past political support) to companies and unions who benefited from the deliberate destruction (and replacement) of these serviceable assets.
Third, it allowed the creation of a new bureaucracy which allowed the employment of thousands of political cronies who wanted a pay-off for their political support of the “Obama Team”.
Fourth, and most important, was to support the administration’s agenda of creating a larger class of people who were dependent upon the government for essential transportation.
A personal example: I live in a semi-rural area. A personal car is the only feasible means of transportation. Recently my grandson (18) required a vehicle to get to his new job (WalMart). As a supportive grandparent I took on the task of finding him a “transportation” car so he could get to work.
Now, in the past, these cars were easy to find. In fact, there were used car lots that advertised “No Car Over $500″, etc.
These lots, and their merchandise, do not exist anymore. I finally found a serviceable “clunker” that had somehow avoided destruction for $1800. A car, pre-Obama, that would have sold for $500, max.
Let’s “celebrate” the expansion of an ever increasing class of people who are dependent upon the government for survival. A voting bloc “par excellence”.
Isn’t it intersting that a bribery program for one segment of voters benefits another? Let’s not forget those with enough money to have purchased many of these cars and shipped them overseas at enormous profit. Thus, these “clunkers” are still on the road somewhere else, and the price for basic transportation vehicles and used car parts skyrockets here. I personally was waiting for the cash for dishwashers program.

Cash for Clunkers is one of my favoreite punching bags. I am poor, but somehow I still pay plenty of income tax. This plan was a reverse Robin Hood program, taking money from me to give to people who could afford new cars to buy them (richer than I). It did not even benefit union auto workers in the long run; the intended purchases were just sped up a little, and then they slowed, pure social engineering. The most laughable response from the beneficient government was when they returned to the issue to add extra funding: they couldn’t believe how popular the program was. They were giving away thousands of dollars to people who already wanted new cars, and they were surprised that it was popular. Have they never studied Roman history?

Yes, this voting block does not ask questions, accepts everything on faith (from the WH) and votes as they are told to. For that they may receive a monetary remuneration, or not, maybe just a bottle of booze or a free pizza. Maybe just a promise of better days ahead. All in all, it’s just vote buying. It helps a lot when there aren’t enough dead people around and the illegal immigrants (YES, I told it like it is!) are in short supply, too. Truly free THINKING people will see through the hypocrasy and lies and find a better candidate. Unfortunately, these days, free, thinking, people seem to be in rather short supply, too, outside the conservative circles. Liberals seem to be totally incapable of thinking, free or other wise.

This is not a lie,… in fact, it’s Obama FINALLY telling the truth. Obama’s true plan has, and IS working quite well. People just didn’t realize what Obama’s REAL plan for the country WAS, all along.
Instead, many believed him, when he campaigned as a new type of politician, one that would focus – “like a laser beam” – on the economy, using his unique skills to bring opposing sides together, bridging partisan and even racial divisions. Others believed him, when he said he would end our wars, bring home the troops, and close Guantanamo.
They should have believed him when he said America was a huge mistake and needed to be ‘fundamentally transformed’. Into what, we asked? MOST Americans have been quite happy with our Republic, with our Constitution and our Bill of Rights. Only the liberals and the illegal immigrants have voiced their discontent with them, long and loudly. They have every right to do so and if they don’t LIKE the way our country is run, they have every right to return to their home land! People forget that campaign promises mean nothing! Obama has even said that on several occasions. ANYONE who believes those lies deserves to be fooled. Look at the candidates record, if there IS one, and judge by that, not pretty speeches and promises. Someone said, once, that we get the government we deserve. Somehow, though, I don’t feel as if I deserve this usurper, since I didn’t vote for him and campaigned HARD to keep him from being elected. Democracy is a bitch! It’s better known as MOB RULE! The Electoral College was supposed to remove that from our elections.
