The Obamas Ignoring Real Issues
With over 23 million Americans unemployed, 48 million Americans on food stamps, nearly 1 million Americans no longer looking for employment, and nearly 9 million Americans having left the labor force–Obama and his Democrat Party platform will place their emphasis on abortion rights, immigration, and homosexual marriage.
I can appreciate that Obama desires to discuss his epic economic failure about as much as he would like to discuss his relationship with Frank Marshall Davis and Larry Sinclair.
short of ending all restrictions on immigration, there’s not much left that Obama hasn’t done to reward illegal aliens, despite what Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder would have us believe.
It’s easier to get an abortion in this country than it is to get a 20-ounce Coke in a restaurant in New York. What issues pursuant to abortion on demand exist today?
Abortion should be a state’s rights issue, anyway. It should never have been the purview of the federal government and Congress. That said, even praying that day will come, does anyone reasonably believe Congress will act to end abortion? As a side note, since abortion is one of the planks of his convention–maybe Democrats should invite Melissa Ohden to address their convention. She is the born-alive survivor of abortion. She could tell them why Obama’s singularly dogged commitment to let born-alive, aborted babies die is one of the most barbaric, after abortion, acts there is.
While in Chicago, Obama vigorously opposed SB 1093, the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. He also strenuously fought against HB383 and SB230 the anti-partial-birth abortion bills. He bitterly opposed SB1095, which would create a cause of action for harm or neglect that comes to a child “born-alive” after a labor-induced abortion. And he opposed SB1661, which was part of the “Abortion Alive Protection Act,” which created the “Induced Birth Infant Liability Act.” I’m sure Melissa Ohden could lend a point of view on abortion, and Obama’s pernicious support of the vilest forms of murdering unborn children, that those in attendance could benefit from.
And short of ending all restrictions on immigration, there’s not much left that Obama hasn’t done to reward illegal aliens, despite what Janet Napolitano and Eric Holder would have us believe.
And as long as California exists, illegal aliens and same-sex marriage will each have a home. Because, despite the citizenry of California exercising their Constitutional right to pass ballot referendum after referendum outlawing same-sex-marriage, homosexuals are able to find homosexual judges willing to overturn the decision of 60 percent of the state’s citizenry.
Which brings us back to my earlier comment. The only reason to make abortion, immigration, and homosexual marriage his party’s platform is he must align himself with those who truly are outside the mainstream, lest the focus be centered solely on his abysmal record.
But Michelle Obama, who has spent the past four years writhing about on the sets of late-night shows such as Ellen DeGeneres and behaving as the exercise equivalent of Cosmo Prower Tomahak’s Shenzi, told Parade Magazine that for her second season as First Lady she wants to “impact the nature of food in grocery stores.” Her goal being to dictate to free-market, privately owned businesses, which her husband says the owners didn’t build, that they are to cut sugar, fat, and salt.
That might be a noble effort in her jaundiced mind, but I submit that we don’t need the person of whom it was said by a television chef that they had never witnessed any woman eat like her, to dictate what we should or shouldn’t eat. And, until the time comes that she owns a grocery store, it is none of her business what the stores have on the shelves. Specific to that point, the only time she sees the inside of a grocery store is for a photo-op.
If, as she would like for people to believe, this woman whose photo history as First Lady is one of tacky dress and gluttony, was really concerned about the welfare of people and specifically children, she would focus on something of real value. Something that could actually be of benefit to those being harmed.
Let’s start with the trafficking of children into the sex-slave industry. According to US Department of Health and Human Services, US Department Of Justice: Free the Slaves, 46 percent of human trafficking in the United States is for the purpose of prostitution. The estimated number of people trafficked into the US each year is 18,000-20,000: children account for 50 percent of these people. East Asia/Pacific is the region that is the largest source of people who are trafficked in the US each year.
In November, 2010, while Madame Obama was doing her Shenzi of the jungle jumping-jacks act and dictating to restaurants how to apply their trade, 884 people were arrested in child prostitution rings. Child sexual slavery is an epidemic that goes about its business more quietly than high blood pressure.
Your neighbor and/or your pastor could be involved in the sexual exploitation of children. Why doesn’t Madame Obama work to end children being sold from one person/group to another for sexual satisfaction? Why doesn’t she speak out about 10-12 year-old little girls being forced to engage in sexual acts with men and women many times their age? Why doesn’t she speak out about 14-15 year-old little girls being beaten, starved, hooked on drugs and then being locked in basements where they are forced to sexually service sometimes 30 or more men a day?
Maybe Madame Obama isn’t quiet about it at all as we would understand it. Maybe she just doesn’t give a damn–after all, they’re not her daughters. Her daughters travel around the world with their friends and an armada of secret service–and Obama himself has repeatedly referenced how he wants his daughters to be able to have access to abortion and anti-birth drugs.
I’m guessing the reason she is silent on the subject is she has no more regard for the life of children than her husband does.
