Donald Trump: A Victory For The People by Robert Socha
This morning, November 6th, 2024, I am pleased to write that the Republican nominee for president of the United States is President-elect Donald J. Trump. It is a decisive victory where he should win well over 300 electoral votes and the national popular vote. I wonder if all those states that voted to remove their sovereignty by joining the terrible national-popular-vote movement will vote accordingly and usher in a Reagan/Dukakis landslide; California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, New Mexico, Minnesota, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, and Maine, are you listening? If they do not follow their own states’ laws, then it verifies their hypocrisy in wanting only to elect Democrat nominees. If they dared to enforce these laws, some Leftist institution that was an advocate would betray themselves to bring the outcome before the Supreme Court. Hopefully, the court would find the laws unconstitutional as they infringe on the sovereignty of every state.
I think the Lord himself afforded us an amazing act of grace on November 5th. We now have this as an opportunity to restore to the people their sovereignty: Sovereignty over their finances, sovereignty over their health decisions, autonomy over their children’s education, and sovereignty over their lives. The judgments of the Lord are just and true altogether. This victory is an act of unparalleled Grace. What are we going to do with it?
It is not time for us to sit back on our laurels, thank God, and leave self-government administration to those we have sent to the halls of D.C. and our state and local offices. We must engage. We must participate. We must declare the truth. We must not compromise. We must not be afraid or ashamed to pray for the Constitutional chains to hold Washington, D.C., accountable again.
So, I commend the team that this Administration assembled: Elon Musk, Robert Kennedy Jr., Vivek Ramaswamy, the unknown transition team, and many more. I think the learning curve 45 endured will provide much alacrity for 47. I think he will not allow lifelong bureaucrats to con and manipulate him to appoint unfaithful men to positions of authority as he was previously. They betrayed 45’s trust, and 47 has learned from that experience. Additionally, the millimeter life-sparing turn of his head has given President Trump a new perspective and respect for life and the remaining time he has to accomplish his mission of continuing to fight for the people.
So here’s to the next four years:
Securing borders and promoting national integrity by enforcing immigration law;
Protecting children from both sex trafficking and sexual mutilation;
Oil and natural gas exploration and delivery, and cleaning up the tyranny of government rules and regulations, especially those imposed by unelected bureaucracy, allowing Americans to choose the free market;
Returning the Department of Justice to its Constitutionally defined role to interpret the law based on these United States’ laws, not international precedent nor personal or political vendetta;
States authority over their children’s education;
Free Speech;
Freedom of Religion, especially when expressing the Christian Faith;
Right to Bear Arms;
Right to be secure in our personal effects from unreasonable search and seizure;
Right to assemble and petition the government;
Health care reform, natural remedies, and a clean and untainted food supply with real food;
Eased tax burden and lower interest rates;
International political stability and an end to the military-industrial complex Presidents Washington (foreign entanglements) and Eisenhower warned us,
Return to the value of life, personal liberty, and property;
So much more!
It’s difficult for this writer to comprehend how so many people pulled the trigger for the Harris ticket. Still, I hope we all can clearly see that this new Administration is for all the People and we can come together as one indivisible nation under God, with Liberty and Justice for all.
