God’s Love Brought Forgiveness of Sin Not Validation of Sin – Sunday Thought For The Day

I believe the word “love” as defined in scripture, but carelessly used colloquially, is one of the most corrupted words in our entire vocabulary – perhaps the singular most corrupted word in the universal lexicon.
The word love is now used as a bludgeon to force the validation of sexual sin and disobedience. Today practically every form of disobedience is applauded under the guise of “love.” God calls, sodomy an abomination and He calls adultery, incest, and every other form of sexual sin worthy of death.
But, many today consider adultery, homosexuality/lesbianism and every other form of sexual perversion love. Marriage between a man and a woman who were born with the XY or XX chromosomes, making them male or female, is argued to be interchangeable. Two men supposedly getting married or two women supposedly getting married, is today acceptable because they’re in “love.” Adultery is accepted because it is about “love.” The “North American Man/Boy Love Association,” (NAMBLA) is promoted as sexual love between grown men and underage boys, instead of pedophilia and a damnable abomination. I could go on, but I rest here.
These damnable abominations have been welcomed into the church, even heretofore evangelical churches that were founded on the word of God.
In John 3:16 the word of God reads: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV) The verse tells us that God did this so that whosoever would believe in His Son would not perish because of their sins, but would have everlasting life by the forgiveness of their sins.
God did not give His Son to assuage sinful behavior. God cannot abide sin. To suggest, promote or believe otherwise, is the Satanic perversion of truth.
The enemy of our souls and his demonic progeny use love as a covering for sin. When in fact, the only covering for sin is the blood of Jesus Christ, who bled, died and arose again so that we can have our sins forgiven and we can be saved.
God hasn’t changed His mind about sin. He has never turned a blind eye to sinful behavior, because the person claims to be in love. Those who advance that lie, and those who embrace such behavior are sentencing themselves to eternal damnation, if they do not repent and turn from their sinful ways.
It doesn’t matter how nice the person(s) are; it doesn’t matter if they are our loved ones or our best friend(s). God loved us so much that He sent us a Savior and the Word of Truth so we could repent and be saved. He didn’t send His Son to validate our sinfulness.
The question that demands an answer is do we love God enough to accept the offer of His Son.
READ:
Romans 4:7-8 (KJV)
7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
Romans 5:8-21 (KJV)
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
