‘I Feel the Presence of The Lord’

"I Feel The Presence of The Lord" is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.

Have You Become Hard Of Listening? – What Are You Grateful For? by ‘brother bill’

Have we become hard of listening?

Eyes That Do Not See
Matthew 13:15 (NKJV)
For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.

I think we become hard of listening after a while, when we consider it to be nothing new. Maybe that’s why a prophet is not without honor except in his family and community.  The closing of our mind’s sense’s are voluntary.  Mental dullness is chosen.  Healing waits on the other side of the decision to stop rendering and start receiving.  So, if you want to really listen, ask a question you want to know the answer to; IT OPENS OUR EARS sorry I had to say it so LOUD.

Illustration: A man sits in a dark room complaining that the sun never rises.  Someone opens the shutters.  The man squints, then closes them again because the light hurts the eyes that had grown used to darkness.

So, be adaptable to Gods sunlight and you’re less likely to fall on the journey, walk in the dark and you’ll understand why it’s called a trip.
